✓ Cheating in tournaments makes it not funI love playing against people but when the top winner can get unbelievably high scores using letters NOT ON THE BOARD!!!! It is not as fun. Please make it fair and have everyone playing the same board. I am not sure how someone can get 64 words in one minute with the largest word being 10 letters from a 4x4 board!!!.Version: 5.1
✓ Not liking new versionThis game as been a brilliant app on my iPad and iPhone, but the new version is not good. The colours now make it difficult to see if a word you trying to make is correct. Before you could easily keep trying letters and it would remain green showing it was a possible word still, not its almost impossible to detect. The colours for highlighting vs correct words are a bad mix. Please put the functionality of the previous version back..Version: 2.0
✓ Fake scoresTourney: Really? 180 words in 180 seconds? Including some six letters words? I dont think some of the winning scores on Tourney are genuine which is a shame as I love some elements of this game and especially the daily Tourney but I get so disheartened by the obvious fake winning scores that appear. Unless I’m missing something. Its pointless competing every day if the same fakes keep winning it with impossible-to-get scores..Version: 4.2
✓ Fun! Still needs work.The game is fun and I like the variety of board sizes. However, connecting the letters does not always occur very smoothly. The other issue is that the vocabulary of words still needs improvement - I have connected letters that I know are words (common, not-necessarily sophisticated words) that the program does not credit with a score. Otherwise, it's a fun game to play!.Version: 3.1

✓ Game center errorsCan only play solo after purchasing this game- want my money back! The tourney, multiplayer options have consistently given me error messages about "gamecenter required". ✓ Please Update for iOS 8Please see my previous review below for game play description. My complaint right now is that the display of scoring is really terrible since the iOS 8 update. The numbers are SO TINY. They look like little ants on the screen just running up to the top. When the game is finished, the font is also SO TINY that it is nearly impossible to read. I have written to the developers and hope they will update the game. The last update was in 2013. Hopefully they won't abandon this nice little word game. I really love word puzzle games and this one is really fine. You can select the size of the grid as well as the length of time to work on it. You can shuffle the board 3 times. I really like the time selection feature because I like to play these games while doing (or waiting to do) other things. Very good word puzzle game..Version: 2.1

✓ Why not make it random again like the original version?Got a new phone, so re-installed this app, only to find that I can’t do certain things with it like I used to be able to. The letters used to be totally random except for the exclusion of proper nouns like John and England. But this new version only allows ONE letter Z, Q, K, etc., per board. We don’t all like to pass our time in the same way. Now, words like “equivoque” and “quizzed” are no longer options. What is your reasoning behind this change?? I can’t think of ONE good reason why one of your team thought that might be a good idea..Version: 6.0
✓ Jk SteinI have played different versions of word shaker. They need to take the best features and make one really good one. I play for myself. Three letter words are a nuisance. The version that is red has a minimum word option. However, the red version does not have a shake button. Try shaking a 10" iPad. The red version also shows the rank of your score to previous ones. The blue version should too. Also, DOH get's to be very tiresome. Attempts at Humor rarely work when repeated over and over. By Then pthe way, you don't build vocabulary if you don't know what the words mean..Version: 6.0
✓ Great game but..,Love this game - but it keeps freezing on me so although I’m putting in words it isn’t accepting them ( they are valid) - it accepts maybe one in ten words! - I keep deleting the app it and then reinstalling it which works for a few games then it happens again. ✓ DisapointedI paid for this app to avoid the advertisements. At first I enjoyed the game, but it soon became apparent that there are a limited number of boards in the game. The same letters come up in the same pattern repeatedly. Shaking the board rearranges the letters, but it is still the same board. I would not recommend this game..Version: 6.0
✓ Entertaining & educationalAfter giving this 5 stars, I have to complain about a couple of things. First, a sound effect for words 100 points and over appeared suddenly, then disappeared just as quickly. No explanation from the provider. Then the game was keeping track of consecutive days played, which I had around 300 or better. Now, that has gone into the black hole of app fails. Since I get nothing for the consecutive game days, why complain. It made it more fun, but I’ll just do something more constructive that this from now on. Too bad…those features made the game more interesting, and now it has lost much of its appeal.Version: 6.0
✓ Multiplayer doesn’t workSo annoyed, was playing the free version and wanted to play with my boyfriend. it forces you to get this $5 version for multiplayer and it only worked 1 out of the 10 times we tried to start a game together. also for $5 it should allow you to adjust your game settings for your match - bigger/smaller boards, working on the same board or adjusting times. horrible i’m getting a refund.Version: 6.0

✓ Okay but change letters when update gameI have been playing this game for years. You developers need to change up the letter boards. I’m so used to the games that I have had to play the same games over and over. It’s about time you came out with not a new game, but one where the letters are different! All you would have to do is change a few letters for each of the different games to make the whole game brand new. I get tired of playing with the same letters over and over, so that the games start to bore me. For those of us who play often, you can tell when you’ve played the game before. ✓ Tourney has issuesI love playing the tourney but I have noticed recently that there are people winning top score and top word with letters that are not in my board. For example, I just played 3 minute 4x4 game and the top two people had three times my score, with words like “questioned” and “quantities.” I had no Q in my letters - plus, being able to come up with both of those words in a 4x4? I don’t think so! How is it a competition if we are working off different sets of letters? I contacted the game admins and was told that maybe those other people have not updated their game. That makes no sense. Mine updates automatically and the last update was three months ago. Keep it fair, or stop pretending it is a competition. With different letters, the scores can’t be compared..Version: 5.1

✓ Fun game!However the database needs improvement! Why am I penalized for not knowing the Russian word for the weight equivalency of 36 lbs.? Why won't it take normally used words like "for" "and" etc.? Why does it take some familiar Spanish words and not others? Like who doesn't know what a rio is? I don't enjoy simply tracing my fingers over contiguous letters that are nonsense to me but often pop up as acceptable to the game's database. That is not fun or challenging. I still give it a 3 because it's fun until I hit that "made up word" threshold..Version: 2.1
✓ Word ShakersThe only thing good about the game in my opinion so far is "cheaters" seem to be nonexistent! Unlike the free word seeker games..... I and you can wish that management would update games played offline sooner, however its obvious this will never happen!!! Then its the crummy letters you get, while playing single games, so you can practice for head to head games with other online players. About "CHEATERS" they're definitely playing, because the scores are way to high. Then the words allowed are mostly, medical & other scientific terms. 👺💩👿😱.Version: 3.1
✓ Only the LonelyReally fun. But if you like to play others, look elsewhere. It doesn't work for challenge mode. After you make friends with other gamers and challenge them, the program just keeps loading the page to set up the game, but never does. I got friends to download this app so we could play. Now we are all just playing solo. This could have been a really great fast alternative to Words with Friends. A disappointment..Version: 2.1
