✓ A little somethingContains a nice, if limited, collection of quotes. Some are not actually Zen, but lean in the right general direction. I'd never heard of many of the people quoting, but I've found a good many that make me think. 3 to 12 were worth the price of admission. Your mileage will no doubt vary. I check one a day, read the list sometimes, and have 30 or so in favorites. Also a good jumping off point for surfing up interesting people..Ecomom07Version: 1.33

✓ Exceptional & insightful selectionI have used this app every morning for the past couple of years and it never disappoints. Excellent selection of quotes from Zen masters past and present, as well as non-Buddhists with decidedly "zen" perspectives on the world. I find the last of these categories particularly illuminating and engaging. Unfortunately, I do have one complaint, which has caused me to lower my rating from 5 stars to 3: Virtually every quote attributed to "Buddha" is very obviously not a genuine Buddha quote (and many of the fake Buddha quotes are actually contrary to basic Buddhist practice). Most of these fake quotes were added in the last update or two; the developers would do well to remove them or attribute them to the correct authors..BespantheosVersion: 1.6

✓ Great app, but very flawed.Just because it sounds very Buddhist doesn't mean Buddha said it or it even has to be attributed. I believe that at least one-third of the quotes are either unattributable in reality or can be found on fake quote sites. That being said, it's one of the better sources I've used. While many of the quotes are great, I've gotten the feeling, over the past year, that each update brings more with bad spelling and punctuation that wouldn't pass through a single proofreading.
