Spectrogram Pro (with super-smooth 60Hz update) for Positive User Reviews

I like it!Nice app. But I wish it was able to process songs and voices from the iPod not just the mic!.Version: 2.0

Another brilliant app by Dominick Seibold!!!Dominick Seibold blows me away again with another deep and skillfully executed app. If you're into photography and haven't tried Aremac do yourself a favor, get it now. It's the closest thing to Gimp and Photoshop for iOS and it works realtime on photography and video. Cheers.Version: 2.4

Excellent and preciseVery precise, it even shows the overtones perfectly. Excellent for analyzing frequencies of individual tracks in a mix. It's also quite fun to "see" all the sounds around you. I knew there was something electronic ringing in my bedroom that was annoying the heck out of me, and I found it with this app! Well worth the price..Version: 2.0

Bowled overHave been searching for an App, to check singing bowls. Being multi-toned, they are tricky to quantify, this gives a finger print of the sound. You can see patterns for the effects of different strikers, playing speeds and styles, even distinct patterns for talking bowls. Still in the early stages of using it, excellent so far, on iPhone 3s and iPad 1.Version: 2.2

Best appPinpointed exactly what I was I looking for in seconds.Version: 3.0.1

Excellent rtaExcellent program, up until ios14.2. Unfortunately the app crashes apron loading on my iPhone XS Max. It’s useless now. Don’t update to 14.2 if you want to use this app.Version: 3.0.1

The best one..The best spectrograph app, without a doubt..Version: 3.0.1

Great for finding frequenciesIf you want to know if a high pitch squeal is coming from a device, this app is great for sniffing it out. Really fast update rate and UI response. Log vs linear is great for really dialing in higher or lower frequencies..Version: 3.0.1

Versatile real-time spectrogramIt is fast, with easy-to-read and adjustable scales, colors and gain. I also like the frequency cursors!.Version: 3.0.1

Adds a new dimension to listening to a concertI was at a concert with a lot of weird sound effects and whipped out my iPad and downloaded this app. I could see the music visualized in a new way!.Version: 2.3.1

Best audio analysis app I've foundThe spectroscope, plus the sonogram on same screen with real time... perfect. Ability to drag a guide with note frequency? Even better... I'm using it with a cheap USB audio interface to viz my HW synths... If this could sit in audio bus, that would be really cool...Version: 3.0

Great App 😍This app works great it ONLY crashes when if you try to save an image If you don't care for saving an image buy it I recommend it 👌🏼 Waiting on a Update 🙏🏼 this app is too Good Please UPDATE.Version: 3.0

Works wellDoes the job but could use some updating to latest UI standards..Version: 2.4

Needs a couple of tweaksThis is great and potentially extremely useful. However, two improvements are essential to this and will give it a five star rating (and make it a serious show-off app): • A bigger play/pause button (moved to the right - out of the way of the frequency legend) I manage to hit this around 1 in 3 attempts. I haven't got fat fingers. It's annoying. • Pinch zoom-in to frequency to be more specific (legend will expand to accommodate this). This, I would say is the most important update. With these additions, this app will be a fabulous tool and worth considerably more than £2.32..Version: 2.0.1

Excellent appExcellent app for analysing audio. I use it with a Fiio E7 (to spilt and amplify my recording) and a iRig (to convert the headphone output to an audio input). The new frequency marker is the icing on the cake. Recommended..Version: 2.1.1

VocalistAble to display intensity, pitch, and formants. Very useful to singers!.Version: 2.4

Works pretty well, butWould be nice to have more marks on the frequency scale or the ability to zoom in a region of interest. The marks in the higher frequencies can span hundreds or thousands of Hertz which is not very helpful. Five stars if you can add this feature.Version: 2.0.1

Beautiful SoundscapeThis app makes use of the high resolution display to visualize microphone input. Remarkably sensitive. Try whistling! One of the simplest and most elegant apps I've tried so far. It always sparks discussion and interest, and makes you more aware of the aural environment around you..Version: 2.2

AmazingThis app is amazing I was listing to the crickets outside. If at all possible could you make it so you can focus in on one sound? Then I'll rate it 5 stars.Version: 2.2

Perfect.Exactly what I've been looking for. You would not believe the number of apps I've scrolled through and looked at before I found this. I wanted a simple, clear, waterfall display type of spectograph that would give a visible record of the frequency and duration of certain transient sounds. There are apps out there that have this, but the ones I found were expensive, most requiring a monthly subscription or very high one off payment. This is just what I need & at a great price. I love the frequency measurement you can access by touching the sound trace, it helps enormously if I want to tune a notch or band pass filter in order to isolate a sound. many thanks, great app! :).Version: 3.0.1

KILLER APPI don’t know Bode from booty, but this is the most perfect frequency app for anyone, musician or not, to explore the world around them. Buy now..Version: 3.0.1

Buttons are far too small, but otherwise great appI've used this app to track down the source of high pitched whining noises in my office (multiple power supply issues in the past few years!) and graph sonic differences in musical instruments (comparing overtones and white noise levels between woodwinds). Very useful app, and it's a lot of fun to play with. I just wish the user interface wasn't so difficult to use on the iPhone. I have decent dexterity (small enough thumbs to type fast and reliably, at least before iOS7!), but the buttons are incredibly difficult to touch. The interface is in desperate need of a stylistic and usability overhaul, but otherwise it's a great utility..Version: 2.4

AwesomePerfect. I just wish I could send out midi from the sonic data;)).Version: 3.0

Great way to visualize soundIt's fun watch the display while it analyzes music, speech or other sounds. You can demonstrate how the harmonics of two tones align to make a pleasing chord. I wish the pause button was easier to hit and that the capture image menu didn't pop up so easily. But overall a good set of options for colors and sampling parameters..Version: 2.0.1

Love itWorks very well; I use it frequently.Version: 2.2

Brings Science to singingBio feedback for singers. Easy to use, immediate feedback for many aspects of singing..Version: 3.0.1

Just greatThis is great fun at home to open up our kids apprecition of sound and really useful to have in my pocket as a pro animal acoustician. Would like a little more rational Fq scale but that is a minor grumble. Love it!.Version: 2.2

This author makes great apps.Had to say it! I've been really impressed with all the apps this developer has made. His standard of quality is very high. We should support the people who put a lot of care into their work just like we do with Apple..Version: 2.3.1

AwesomeThis is my main analyzer, it works great! Used in multiple real-world applications... Love this app!.Version: 3.0
