Sound on iphonex is much higher pitch than the actual baby shusher device. The only good thing is that there is a timer option so you can keep it going all night. ✓ Can’t use app with a Bluetooth speakerI have the original baby Shusher and love it, so I wanted one to take with me everywhere, so I bought the app. I love that the app plays for much longer than the original too, however I don’t want to have to keep an iPhone/iPad in the baby’s room all night. I organised a Bluetooth speaker thinking it’d be a perfect solution, but the app isn’t compatible with Bluetooth speakers. I saw a review complaining about this 4 years ago and still nothing has been done about it. If I could play the app through a Bluetooth speaker I’d definitely give it 5 stars. But for the convenience alone of always having it on my phone I give it 3 stars..Version: 2.2.6
✓ Sound works, but do £5 you could have more functionsSo the sound is good, calms the baby and helps her to sleep. We only started using it when she was 10 months so not sure about younger babies. However, app has some major flaws. When you turn the sound on, you should be able to check how much time is left on timer and /or how long since you switched it on. Also, when you are in the sound mode, you cannot check or change how long the timer is set for, which is rather unhelpful. It’s good that the when the sound is switched on the screen is really dark, but when the sound finishes it switches to a bright white and orange screen. Of the baby is asleep, then it’s fine, but when she is still struggling it attracts her attention and lengthens the process. Over all it is extremely basic app of a sound on and off with timer (not using sound adjustment so cannot comment on that). Expected much more for £5..Version: 2.2.5

I don’t understand how apps with multiple different sounds will never crash, but this one button app does it almost every time. The “Shhh” sound will skip, and then stop playing completely even though I didn’t press the stop button. I have to delete the app, redownload it, and restart my phone each time. It’s EXTREMELY frustrating, and will guarantee my baby starts crying every time. Unfortunately, my shhh isn’t the right pitch for her and she doesn’t like it as much.
