✓ Wrong :(Having been a worms fan since Andy Davidson released the original Amiga version and even met the bloke at WOA imagine my disappointment that the 'classic' samples aren't original but a poor imitation. It's like when Lucas ripped the soul out of the early SW films just because he could and in the process trampled your childhood memories. Is it important to anyone else? ✓ Can't complain too muchIt's free, so I shouldn't expect too much, but the soundbanks provided are so limited. The 'Classic' sounds are obviously from a different 'classic' to all the ones I remember (i.e. Amiga onwards); the weapons miss out a whole bunch of effects; the 'Soulman' effects are just plain annoying. Team17 missed the trick of allowing s selected effect to be used as a phone ringtone or message tone; it's easier - and more authentic to my memories - to go and copy the sound samples from the Worms:Directors Cut that I have installed in AmigaForever. A half-hearted missed opportunity; I almost called it a lame cash-in, but it's free - it makes no sense, it's just not as good an advert for nostalgic Worms fans as it could - and should be..Chunder_IOMVersion: 1.00
