(I'm being honest, and even If u don't think so, you mine as well give it a try. :p ) Okay, so how the glitch works... In the bottom right corner, where it says "details". There is an arrow to the right of it. Keep clicking that arrow and watch your food and tech points increase rapidly. The odd time it may also increase population. Although It kind of gets boring after completing all the puzzles, researching everything to the max, reaching the max population of 90. I don't even have to check it anymore. My village is pretty much self-sufficient. I do have a question though. ✓ Spoiler alert!1. To make cutting tools, you make a fire, then drop a villager onto the giant fish skeleton 2. To boil water, drop a villager onto the blackened rocks, then put another villager on those things that look like clam shells, any group of shells will do. When the rock in the turns red and there's water in the pot, put a villager on the rock. 3. If you buy the third level of building, you can make a clothing hut, I think. It takes 5000 tech pts. To give a villager new clothes, so be warned. Hope I helped!! This game is lots of fun, but I like the fifth one the best. It's definitely worth the money, all of them! Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because after I chose my villagers, I had my child pick about 2 mushrooms and suddenly I gained like over 10000 in food without collecting it, most of the techs bought apart from I only had level 1 on food and the tree specialist one, but as it gave me over 160000 tech points I had enough to pay for the rest. Also got loads of trophies. Somewhat confused as to how that happened. Oh and the huts literally take like a minute to build so they're all built and I still have only trainee builders who'll hopefully get more trained by the rubble. ✓ Short n SweetVirtual Villagers is a great series and I would highly recommend it! However, I did find #4 to be much shorter than the previous two in the series. I finished all puzzles with only 3 villagers reaching old age...in previous versions, it would take generations to fully solve all puzzles. The puzzles were also easier to figure out - not sure if they were just simpler or if it seemed easier because of the experience through previous games. Villagers 4To make cloth you have to make a cutting tool, and have the cloth hut then create a fire with salt water then drag a villager onto the pulpy vines then they will go get a cutting tool and cut some pulpy vines then take it to the fire. When it's done you put a person on the pot again and they take the cloth to a rock and then you keep putting a person on the rock until it is finished then they will take it to the cloth hut and you have cloth. Repeat steps 2-3 three more times WARNING:stay on top of it! If one of the rocks in the pit cools off( it will dissapear) you have do it again! 5. After 4 hot rocks are in the pit drop villager onto tree near berry bush and action bar will read:covering the hot rocks 6. Pop up will announce: you have restored the cooking pit to a funtional codition! 7. Drop villager onto fruit tree right beside pit and villager will cook it and carry it to the food bin! ✓ Solving The Butterfly PuzzleHere's how to solve the butterfly puzzle: 1. First, clear the debris in the river near the tree. 2. Next, drag an adept or master scientist onto the rock the waterfall was falling on (action should say: attempting to install keystone) 3. When that's accomplished, the water should flow over towards the bridge that leads to the research area. There should be a plant near the edge of the screen, and when you drop a person on them, it should say: stalks still recovering. 4. Wait a while until the stalks look green and insects are flying near it. If you don't have a cutting tool, make one. That's because you need to drag a person to the stalks to cut them. 5. The person should be covered in a green mist, and it should say they are covered in bug sap (or something like that) 6. Drag that villager slowly towards the tree, and wait until it says: 'Villager' sees nice dry bark'. 7. Keep dropping the villager onto the tree (with them seeing dry bark) until slit says: rubbing gunk onto tree. 8. Butterflies will reappear!.Version: 1.0.1

✓ Some hintsThe pit: You clear the rocks out and then you put rocks (a pile next to the bridge) in the fire. They will turn red. Then have someone take them out and they will put them on the pit. You need to get 4 red rocks on the pit and then you go to the big leafy bush (by the pile of rocks) and they will take that to cover the pit. Then they can cook the fruit. To make cloth: Salt water, and vines (by the fire pit). You will need fish bones to make knives to cut the vines with. ********To catch the crab and clear mossy rocks: You put a kid on the crab when it's jumping- it will say distracting the crab. You then put a couple more kids on it at the same time, this will make the crab lay there. Then you put an adult on the crab and they will take it to the mossy rocks. Do this a few times and the rocks will clear. If you catch anymore crabs after, they will go into the food bin..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Clearing up some confusionSo far this is a cool game. But to clear up some confusion that I know others have had. Puzzle #9 The drums/nursery You'll need level 3 on learning for this one. Once you get level 3, the nursery material appears for you to build it. You'll then need someone who's a master in two areas to teach there. The dry grass is the little dry patch near the pile of wood. If your berries run out, try buying level 2 on food. They'll regenerate eventually and you can pick them again. The something nutritional for your stew comes from your food stockpile. Just go to the food bin. Gather three white flowers to make soap. Make sure to use salt water though. ✓ Fab wee game!Excellent game - very addictive! A good dose of luck is necessary in this game though. A few hints - choose a child, a nursing mother, a man and 2 other women as yr starting group. Ideally you should try and make sure each villager has some knowledge of each of the 5 stats when u start off then u can build from there. In addition don't be too hasty to have babies - remember that the more villagers you have the more food you consume which can quickly cause you problems early on in the game. Once you have the fish nets you can procreate at will. Soap - 3 soapy smelling plants and salt water Catch a crab by using two children to distract crab while an adult grabs it. Cloth is vines in salt water Use 3 sweet herbs in freshwater to have them honour the tree - as many villagers as possible need to do this. Cutting tools are gotten by putting fish bone in fire. ✓ Help me out I need to know how to get from getting sticky on the stalks of grass. I have cloth and have healed the tree. I put the person on it he cuts a stalk and I take him and put him on the tree he wipes the gunk on the tree and nothing happens. Am I suppose to do something else first? Or have another puzzle? Also I have tried to make leis but it says I need flowers, I believe my first problem is related somehow to this. Please help!! Thanks. ✓ Helpful hints part 2CUT VINES: you have to make tools ( by placing a person on the fish bones, they'll do the rest -bring to fire etc). Then if you're doing it to make cloth, you have to be on level 2 of building so you have the cloth hut. Then get a bowl of salt water and heat it up with rock, then place person on vines, they should go grab a tool and then cut it and add to stew. Look at other reviews for further explanation about cloth. WATER FLOW: first you have to keep putting someone on the blocked stream and making sure they clear it. Then you need someone who is adept in building and research to go to the beach the north part on the sand there is a flat rock shaped like a "C". Put person on it, it should say keystone. Drop them on it, and they'll do the rest to make h2o flow. PURE BODY : grab someone and put them on the soap( they will add it to the river & water will get bubbly) then drop someone inside it. When they come out, they will have white circles around them. They have pure bodies. You can put more than 1 person in at a time. FAST CRAB: get two kids and place them on the crab, it'll "distract it" and then place an adult on the grab an they should grab it..Version: 1.0.1

Just type in at google 'Virtual Villagers 4 cheats and tips' and many many websites will come up that is of great use. Here are some things for beginners, I guess: Dry grass is located just left of the stairs. When the waterfall stops flowing because you cleared the debris, there will be a rock where the the waterfall used to fall down. drag an adept or master scientist to it. they will drag it to a dry river bed, and then TADAA, you have water in you stream again. ✓ Flipping amazing!!!!!!!!Ok so I love this game! Here are some tips •the dry grass is the little brown spot by the fire wood •get level 2 building and put a villager on the rock pit by the yellow fruit tree it will take some time but they will clear the debris then heat some rocks in the fire and ur villagers will put them in the pit then cover with banana leaves voala cooking pit •clear the debri by the water then put a adapt builder/scientist on the rock where the waterfall used to land •fix the dock and build the clothing hut then get boiling water in the pot and set ur villager on the dock and they will make cloth • the first building you build is the love shack so that if u get stuck on a problem u will b able to continue with future generations Have fun it's a ball😄I love this game, how u tell how much I do take the thing u love the most(family don't count) and times it by💯.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Good butI had this on my computer and I loved it but it was only a free trial and I ran out of time and I never got it. The only thing wrong with this is that you can't name your villagers but other than that it's great. So make an update to name your villagers and zoom in and I'll give a FIVE STARS..Version: 1.0.1

✓ HelpTo get water into the pond, you need a villager who is a master scientist and adept builder/master builder to get a rock located near the sea where the villagers get salty water. Drag the villager on to the rock and it will restore the rock to where it belongs allowing the water to flow to the pond. Ps: before that u need to clear debris at where the villagers get fresh water. Hope it helps .Version: 1.0.1
✓ Best village game evvvvvvvaI have played all the virtual villagers games including the 5 th and you would have to be pretty stupid to say this one isn't by far the easy best. ✓ OkI have to admit, I love this game. But they could make it a bit easier. For example: the food, once you harvest all of it, it takes FOREVER to re-grow. Also the villagers keep doing things even though i don't want them to, only if I move them do they stop. But then after a while they go right back to it. ✓ Here's a little guideI really like this game and I beat it so heres some help. The dry grass is by the stares drop an adept builder and adept sciencestest to a gray stone by the beach to clear the waterway get level 2 science to make a fishing net but first u need cloth here's the recipe salt water it's by the beach look for little pots 3 pulpy vines first u need to get a cutting tool drop a villager on the big dry fish then drop a villager on the rocks by the bridge over the river by the blackberry bush oh I almost forgot u have to build the clothing hut first then after it is made u have to pound it on the rock they put it on.
