We are in the middle of a three week Italy adventure and we booked most of our excursions through Viator. The app and website work well together. It is very easy to download your vouchers and manage your bookings. We had to cancel one booking and it was no problem. The only complaint we have is the apple wallet feature does not work. ✓ Eiger and Jung FrauThis breathtaking excursion began st a convenient location in Lucerne.We met our very pleasant informative guide and our pleasant courteous skilled driver near the Central Station at the designated time. We spent a bit of time in Interlachen .then headed into the mountains for breathtaking views of the Alps and beautiful villages. Our only criticism is that our party of 8 were left on our own for half the tour while the remainder of the group went to the top of Jung Frau.We were given the option to upgrade but the additional cost of 92 Swiss Franks per person was something we could not entertain.Perhaps separate the groups and have a second guide.As the organizer for our party of 8 I found it stressful to board the right train ,get off at the proper stop and then find the designated hotel to meet our driver. From getting to the airport we booked our transfer to hotel, a slight mix up with cars and we were away. That night we booked Empire State through viator. Then the following day we had the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island tour all booked through viator, also the museum of natural history and lastly the 9/11 tour. Very accommodating as we had to cancel the 9/11 tour on Saturday as we wouldn’t have made it in time and the tour operator allowed us change it last minute to the Tuesday morning. I booked a couple of tours in each of the places, and then when I was there the map with the attractions was very useful. I ended up booking an extra tour while I was at Barcelona, for which I got a pretty good discount booking through the app! And was able to book it just a couple of hours before the tour started, no need to print any voucher, really convenient! Separate VeriFLY queue took about 10 minutes; there were several hundred people in the standard check in queue and my guess is it what at least an hour plus. The app isn’t difficult, there a bit of data inputting required but most you can do well ahead of time and it’s not complicated. We had to do a covid test within 24 hrs of flying and even though our tester wasn’t a VeriFLY partner, manually uploading a photo of the certificate was fine and checked in an hour. Don’t be put off by thinking it’s complicated, you really will be glad you did when you’re in the dedicated line watching the hundreds who aren’t inch forward..Version: 8.8.0

Their response for cancellation/refund has always been very swift. Also any request for documentation to satisfy travel insurance companies has also been provided without undue delay. ✓ One major problemThe app is great and I have used it to book a few trips on our holiday to Oz/NZ, however there is one glaring mistake in the process. I had my credit card hacked prior to travelling and there is no simple mechanism to change the payment type. This should be an option in any circumstances anyway, but in the case of a lost, stolen or compromised card, it’s an absolute necessity.
