Looks good, sounds good but be prepared if a problemUsed this company a few times. Clothes seem to take an age to arrive. Quality of clothes is average. Look great in pictures. Not quite the same when they arrive. Biggest problem is returns. They insist you use Royal Mail to return product overseas. Cost of this is quoted in their return policy as 40-60 US dollars. There is 2nd option. Keep the product and receive a voucher. In my case the product purchased was far too small. Product is unusable unless I wanted to use product at a fancy dress party, dressed as a clown. Because of hassle sending them back and risking spending further money on postage, I opted for the 2nd option. Keep product and receive voucher. Received a 29 pence voucher. Best option with this company, delete App and purchase elsewhere..Version: 8.32.1

NEVER BUY FROM HEREI had never written a review before, but this company I so horrible that I just had to warn others. Don’t make the mistake of ordering from here. The quality of the products is just awful, not to mention that it took ages to arrive. Once I looked at the dresses I bought for £150 (see through, horrible and definitely not as advertised) I immediately logged a ticket. They told me that the best option for me was to give the dresses to a friend and accept a 30% refund. I said no as I wouldn’t do that to a friend or to anybody. My options were then accepting a 30% refund a bin the dresses or keep emailing them until they’d give me a real solution. In the end they said that they would accept the return but I’d have to pay for it. At that point I just didn’t want to see those dresses ever again, so I paid £21 for the delivery to China and after 45 days they arrived to the destination. They really try to not let you to return the items, but they’re really bad quality, I sent like 5 emails about this to customer service until they gave me a number to make the return. Now they’re saying that they’ll put my money into my account on their website, but I’ll wait and see! Complete rip-off!.Version: 7.3.1

Items are nothing like they appear on site and poor returns serviceI purchased about 8 or 9 items all of which were disappointingly nothing like they appeared on the site. All the items I purchased were tops to wear for summer/holiday, the fabric and finish of the items were of very poor quality and even the colours didn’t match. They obviously filter and edit the photos of the garments dramatically so I was very disappointed when the items finally arrived after a very long wait! I waited about 8 weeks as they didn’t have some items in stock! They do not make the returns process easy either, I had to take photos and reasons why I wanted a refund…no one responded. After 3 days of waiting I had to escalate the return process to have someone authorise the refund and send me the return details. Frustratingly, after 3 weeks I am still waiting for my refund. Due to the experience I have had so far I’m expecting to have to wait a long time for the refund to be actioned!! Worst Site I’ve Ever Ordered FromI ordered from a Flash Sale and in my cart it did not show the Flash Sale amount. I down loaded the app and did everything I was suppose to do, and I still was not getting the Flash Sale price. 43 minutes later I finally got the correct price in my cart. I really don’t know what I did to finally get the correct amount. I did a lot of unnecessary “back & forthness” and was unable to contact customer service for help. Also, as a New Customer, I got to choose coupons. So, I put in a separate order for another item I liked because you can’t use coupons forFlash Sale items. When I was checking out, I tapped on the area to add my coupon. It said that the coupon I entered was for New Customers Only. Again, it took me several minutes to get to my account to find my coupon. It showed my coupon was available and ready to use. I never figured out how to get that coupon to work when I was checking out. I kept getting a message telling me that I had no coupons available. And again, I was unable to contact customer service. This is the worst experience I have ever encountered when ordering online. They have some really cool merchandise, but it’s not cool enough for me to go through that again..Version: 8.39.1

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS APPI bought LED lights about 2 or 3 weeks ago and they said they would arrive in 5-8 days but I still haven’t gotten them! I was reading the reviews and everyone is think this is a scam and I’m starting to believe this too! The customer service is awful and I don’t even know where my package is!! Extremely Poor QualityAgainst my better judgement I ordered two summer dresses - they were very cheap but the description said they were both cotton so I thought if they are thin cotton that’s ok for this very hot summer. I paid about £56 for the two dresses and postage. When they finally arrived( after I had gone on holiday) I looked at them when I got back. Absolute rubbish - cheap material, one even has a label saying 100% polyester even though it was described as cotton. The other was some other cheap man made material and bright blancmange pink as opposed to the pale pink cotton seen on the advert. If ever there was an example of ‘you get what you pay for’ this is it. I should have known better - I will unsubscribe and delete the app. If you read this before purchasing, be warned - the descriptions and photos of the clothes bear no relation to what you (finally) receive..Version: 8.17.0

Hate this app!I loathe this app! I never review anything. The points don’t do anything. They don’t work for sales items. What are you going to do? Look for normal price? They take off your coupons for anything that is normal price, and then comes the extra charges and that’s where they really stick it to you! Always at least doble or triple anything Points, coupons and cash, that they discounted. You order something you really like for a really great price and then they send an email telling you they refunded your money because they ran out of the item or that certain color or whatever excuse, but you can go ahead and reorder at the regular price because it is no longer on sale! I ordered a pair of socks for a buck. They sent me one sock. Yes fellow customers, one sock! I showed them and yep you guessed it, I can go ahead and reorder at $4.99 and they refunded me my .99. They do this regularly! Always something missing in the order. Always something out of stock. And instead of letting the customer know, LITB decides for the customer that he/she doesn’t want to wait longer for their item or doesn’t want another color. No, LITB refunds the price of the item, which of course you the client bought on sale, and tells you you can reorder. I’m confusedI ordered a watch strap for around 12 pounds last month and it had not been delivered, I checked my emails and the app and it said the order had been cancelled and I had not done this. I think it’s reason for doing so was that I had not paid. I had paid and the money had been taken from my bank account. This is extremely irritating especially as you could not even email me to tell me that this had happened so I was waiting for a package that would never arrive, I even had the confirmation email saying the address it was going to be sent to and so on. ScamUnfortunately I had only found reviews after making a purchase on this site, believing it to be legit due to it being linked with other well known sites, ie top cashback etc. This company’s returns policy is scam worthy. Products are of extremely poor quality and the delivery times are very misleading. When wanting to return items you have to issue a ticket at which point you are the bargained with to see how little of the full amount they can get away with refunding. When I wouldn’t accept 60% a return address was provided with confusing instructions, the nature of which gave me the impression I wouldn't receive any money anyway, so reluctantly I had to accept 60% back in order to guarantee myself at least something back. Had I agreed to send the items back, i had to send them back to China which is usually around £20+ meaning that I would have risked potentially having lost more money, the items I had as proof and the money originally paid. App Needs Some TweaksThis app offers just about anything you can think of, and at very good prices. I ordered several things as a result. There were two things about the App that I found extremely frustrating: 1. More often than not, there was limited information available (from sellers) related size/figment of clothing. Additionally, you can’t go by the size you select. For example, a listing had size 32, 34, 36 and 38. However, if you go in to the fit guide, a 32 is really a 34, a 34 a 36, etc. I hate to admit it but I have no idea what size I’m going to receive for a couple of items (I took the chance because the price was so cheap!). I realize this is more about the sellers but there are things the App developers can do to ensure the sellers provide accurate and consistent information when they post a new item. 2. Navigation and searching within the app is horrific. Several times I searched for terms that were in the text from the headers of existing listings and it returned no results. Also, the Categorization of items could use some improvement (e.g., items are scattered across different categories, but none of them are the one you would expect it to be in). If they could make some improvements to the app in terms of quality and consistency of listings, that would be a huge improvement..Version: 8.42.2

Absolute rubbish.I bought 2 camera protectors for my iPhone. When they arrived they were nothing like the picture on the app, had no “scratch proof” glass in them to protect my cameras as per description and were scratched. I contacted them and got no reply, so I went through PayPal. The seller then replied offering a partial refund. Not good enough, these were nothing like the description and I had no use for them. I was then offered a full refund for return of the items at my own expense. It cost me as much to post as the items originally cost, so I’ve ended up $30 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. Haven’t received my order yet **scam alertI don’t like rating a company until I receive the merc. Then it’s too late so I’ll put a one star until I see the items I overpaid shipping for..this was applied at the day of payment for murchandise I have not received lo these several weeks now. Allegedly my order less one “refunded” item shipped a week ago from a facility less than an hour from my home. ( are they walking it by handicapped elves?) Don’t order from hereWhen I saw the price for items I was expecting that they would be made of cheap items but I thought I’d go for it. Everything went through payment was taken straight away and I looked forward to getting my items. 2 weeks passed and my order hadn’t even been dispatched, no contact or reason for my order to be delayed. I contact customer services only for them to say they haven’t got some of the items I want and that they would be shipped “soon”. I took a further week until they finally arrived. Since receiving my items I have received tonnes of spam calls/texts/emails which leads me to believe that this company has passed on my data. I entered my delivery address correctly however Light in the Box worded it a bit differently on the label when they shipped. Unfortunately USPS sent it back to the sender due to the address being incorrect on the label. I contacted USPS as well as Light in the Box and confirmed the correct address information again and stressed that this was a birthday gift and needed it to ship back out asap. I contacted Light in the Box near 10 times over a week asking for help with getting my items delivered with the correct information on the label and Britney only reply to me twice, first time supplying me with my address indicated incorrectly on the label and said that I entered it incorrectly, and second to say that they will not redeliver without me repaying shipping costs and 50% of the purchase price. This is unacceptable and not how customers should be treated. I did not supply the incorrect address information, they created the label incorrectly, and I attempted near 10 times to contact Britney to rectify the situation so I could hopefully still receive my items in time for my friends birthday yet was only contacted by Britney twice with useless information. I will never do business with this company again and I suggest you do not either. Says a lot about a company when they won't rectify an issues as easy as an address update so customers can receive their items they purchased..Version: 8.25.0

TheftI had read some negative reviews before using them but the customer support seemed very reasonable so I have it a shot and bought two shirts as Christmas gifts. When I got the shirts they were a mess, the colours were different than the site showed, the “slim fit” tapered outwards instead of inwards, the threading was already damaged and coming undone in multiple places on both shirts, just everything was wrong. I requested a refund and they offered to partially refund and let me keep the shirts, but they were honestly so bad I couldn’t give them as gifts to anyone. So they then offered a full refund… but with me paying the delivery fees both for the first delivery and the return. So now I’ve lost $20 and get to figure out how to send two pieces of garbage to China while hoping Chinese customs doesn’t destroy my package, which light in the box has warned me they might do….Version: 7.3.1

Inferior products!I have now purchased twice from lightning box and both times I was not happy with the products. They where not of good quality. I threw the shoes out and I am currently in dispute on a return of 6 pairs of track/cargo pants that are marked XL, but the size is really a small. The garment product is also not of good quality and looks very different from the images in their app! 30 day return policy should not apply when the delivery is finally received outside this timeline and the products are discovered to not be the same as the product ordered. Never use this company againI ordered a trouser suit for my daughters wedding. It cost £218. I waiting just under a month for it to arrive. When it did, the best package was open. When emailed the company was told that wld be due to customs. I also emailed as I was not happy at all with the colour. I ordered silver and it is clearly not silver but an olive colour. I was told that is was Made over order which apparently means it can not be refunded. It wasn’t made to order with my size etc so I don’t see why it can’t be sent back as can be resold as not made to my measurements. I would like to think I could return it Enron if it was because I didn’t like it. But it is not as described. After lots of to and froing,I was told it is silver and I can not return it and case has been “resolved” apparently as put on my account!!! I am fuming as it is not as described and they are not prepared to do anything about it. Please learn from my very expensive awful experience and do not buy from this company. Simply AwfulTried on several occasions to return or change my order , no response. This is a scam website with no returns policy. It indicates there is a simple way to return items, trust me, your stuck with it whether you want it or not. Scam!!!I am wondering where rating 4.5 came from, they missed shipment schedule even i paid extra for ship within4-7days, i ordered dress and shoes for my wedding in advance on 14 December 2021, paid extra for schedule ship and deliver before Christmas 27th Dec, as mentioned in application when order, in reality they shipped out on 22nd from somewhere and Dispatched to Royal mail on 28th Dec, i opened ticket on 3rd Jan 2022, agent responded that delay came from many orders due to shopping season, this is not mentioned when i ordered!!!! And agent asked me to check with Royal mail myself the status which i did and asked me to wait for another 3-10days!!! How about my wedding ceremony!!! How about i paid extra for early ship and delivery!!! Horrible Horrible HorribleI wish I could give zero stars in all honesty. I had ordered a jumpsuit (size extra large) for my mother and ended up paying $40+ in total. It arrived and you would think I had ordered a small. It was ridiculous and I was disappointed so I submitted a ticket for a refund and I'd return my order. I was answered that I would have to pay for the shipping myself and that it would cost me either half or equal to what I payed for the outfit itself. I was bewildered and then they said that they offered me two choices. A. Keep the product and get a 30% rewards ($10-$11 on my account to LightInTheBox) or option B. Keep the product and ONLY get refund 15% ($5.40) of my original price. Are you kidding? I'd rather keep the outfit and sell it to a family member or friend and I'd get my full money back that way. I'm astonished that this is how they work. Never again. Don’t bother unless you truly believe you won’t need to return whatever you ordered. Not to mention it took awhile to arrive. 13 days in total and I’ve seen other reviews from people that it took more days to arrive or they just never got their package. I should have stayed with Royora, but I changedI should have stayed where my business was, my order was usually correct and the detailed stated on their website were correct and they didn’t use subjugation to try to get you to buy stuff you don’t want. Light in the box I use their search bar and searched men’s linen clothing. I ordered several items off the page without double checking the composition of the articles as I assumed everything on that page was going to be either linen or cotton linen blend. As I’ve receiving my order five items of the 20 odd items I ordered are polyester, and absolutely no use to me. I sweat like crazy in polyester..Version: 8.63.0

Do not purchase from this appThis app is a scam. I ordered something a month before I needed it and paid for standard shipping which was 8-10 business days. I didn’t receive a confirmation email and after two weeks I reached out to customer service and I got no information about my order. I was unsure if it was even coming at that point. Over a month after I ordered my product it came in the mail but by that time I didn’t need it anymore and I had ordered something from somewhere else that actually came in the period that said I would be receiving it. They said T-shirt was true to size and good quality so I took a chance and I bitterly regret it!! I measured my partners chest and chose the size that it said on their website. When they eventually came, they were massive!!!! The print on them is such poor quality and blurry. They are nothing like described! I opened a ticket and asked to return them for a refund. I was told that the best option is to accept a 20% partial refund by giving me credit against my next order. Or 10% partial refund and keep the T-shirts. Or I can return but I would have to pay up to $30. I’d already paid £53 for the T-shirts so they have you over a barrel. Bad customer serviceMy sister bought 3 jackets…one was faulty & they were all too small for average sizing. We requested a refund and was given more things to do after sending an email then having to check the app which we didn’t know about then asked to take measurements it was just ridiculous especially has my sister has suffered a stroke and then they tell us it was outside their 7 day limit. What I have discovered is that you better read ALL the fine print because they are misleading you by only telling the part you want to hear on the website. No reason is acceptable I bought two dress the exact same size. One fit well, looked great on. The other one was the same measurements but didn’t fit well at all. Did not look good on at all. Horrible customer serviceI am 6’ 3” and 230 lbs and wear size XXL in shirts, sweaters and sweatshirts. I ordered 3 sweaters in size XXL. Hit or MissWith all the clothing coming from China I was expecting, a bit of variation in quality and sizing. But this is all over the board! Some smalls were WAY too big, some were much too small. Some material was super soft and comfy, others felt like burlap. Colors are often off. Takes a long time for shipping but with prices that low it's to be expected. Only real bummer is the return policy - you have to jump through 100 hoops even to start a return (give detailed reasons, submit photos) then you have to pay shipping to return the item BACK TO CHINA so it's definitely not worth it as you only get a portion of your money back and it takes WEEKS. They offer other options like future discount codes or keeping the item for a reduced credit, but again I'm hesitant to order more since I never know what I'm going to receive. One bad experience - bought hand painted painting poor qualityI’ve bought lots of nice oil paintings from this store and never had a problem. I bought a set of paintings and it was 50% off. Everything that is on sale is not worth getting in this store. Rather, buy non-sale items as these will have better quality. The sale item cost me $127 and it was totally different to the painting on the website. The quality was so bad and the painting was awful. I’ve put photoes on the website page to let people know that there is a severe quality problem with some of these paintings. Additionally, it cost me another $67 to return the item to China and that means I would have lost $89 just in shipping because of a bad painting. I think Chinese people do this knowing that people won’t be bothered in returning the goods because it is too expensive to return. Great designs, poor fabric and processingI’ve bought quite a few things from Lightinthebox. In all cases I was really pleased with the style and design of items. It’s so good to find a company that makes the sort of clothes I like in the sizes that fit. There are, however, 2 things that really let the company down. Very often, the fabric used is cheap, thin or man made. This is very disappointing and makes the clothes look cheap. I’d gladly pay a little more for better fabric. Secondly, the turn round time can be very lengthy. Over 2 months is not unheard of. I understand postage takes some of that time, but processing is very slow on some occasions and often the event I bought an item for has passed. Scam on vast scaleDoes not even deserve a single star rating to be honest. These guys are actually scamming people on vast scale. I have placed an order for couple of shirts and what I received after months waiting was nothing like the pictures I have seen. Not Worth the WaitI ordered a tattoo machine on the 23rd of March, which the site said it would arrive in 4-7 business days I figured it’d come in the time frame because any other site I’ve ordered from would arrive quickly, before or on the exact date. I regretted buying few products from this website, they are expensive and the Shipping cost is too high. I have two Coupons which I will like to use but I was only allowed to use one Coupon while the other Coupon will be expired the following day. This is ridiculous. The Shipping cost is too high, driving customers away, while other stores/websites are doing free shipping. The Customer Service is very poor, return/refund process is very very bad and discouraging. My experience with this site is very very bad and I will close my account very soon. Refund is call Rewards which is wrong, also, the Reward has too many conditions that’s disadvantage to the customers. UnhelpfulThe app itself is ok but the company behind it is not. I was charged £28 in import duties on an item that cost £24 and I’d already paid nearly £20 shipping. It wasn’t made at all clear at the checkout stage that there would be further charges and I assumed that the shipping cost should cover everything. Apparently they have an insurance you can take out against this but I didn’t see this at checkout. Not like EBay where they make these things very clear. ‘Import duties’ were charged to me by the importing courier and were apparently VAT which certainly wasn’t 20% of the value of the item. LITB refused to accept responsibility and I was forced to pay the fee. Aside from this the £20 I paid for ‘express’ (3-4 day) delivery took nearly two weeks. Not impressed. The app makes customer services very difficult to find and they take a very long time getting back to you with an answer. PurchasesAlthough the prices of the items seem good, the time it takes to organise the items for shipping is terrible. I have never experienced a company who takes so long to deliver items. Still waiting…..As of right now, I would give a low rating. It takes forever to get the products processing and passed through QC (I guess that is what it is). I am hopeful though that the actual products exceed my expectations and I can change this review. Absolute FraudJust keep scrolling through the reviews, I wish I had done the same before purchasing on this website. I’ve purchased on this website and after two weeks my order is still under “processing” the website states ships within 24hrs. ****READ BEFORE YOU BUY****I spent over $100 on 6 pairs of shorts, which all didn’t fit of course. I reached out to the LightInTheBox customer service to return these shorts and to get replacements that would fit. The customer service rep kindly blamed me for choosing the wrong sizes, and told me that I had two options. Option a) keep the shorts and receive a 40% refund, to which I had to buy another item from their company. Option b) keep the shorts and receive a 30% refund. They said I could ship the shorts back to them, but I’d have to pay to ship them back. But they highlight that the shipping may cost more than the actual cost of the product because you have to ship it to Hong Kong. So, I’d double what I paid to get the correct sizes (hopefully). Ridiculous right? What kind of company requires YOU the consumer to fix an issue (and pay more) to get what you actually wanted? My recommendation, don’t waste your money on this app because if there’s slightly any issues with what you buy, you will lose your money. I have pictures of my whole conversation with their customer service rep to show exactly what I had to deal with, and now I’ll get a fraction of the money I spent on their product. Lukewarm Love From MeLet me start with the good points: The app is super easy to use, there's a gazillion unique items to choose from, the prices are reasonable and the Customer Service folks are responsive. Now, the other points: Unless you select smaller clothing sizes, the "processing time" takes DAYS and on top of that, the items are shipped from China which adds days as well (maybe I've become spoiled by Amazon's 2-day).. and they have this feature whereby you can earn points and use them for discount coupons which sounds GREAT until you realize the coupons are useless unless you're spending a lot of money {example, $3 discount on $30+ .. free shipping on $100+} ..the shipping one made me mad bcuz in the process of getting that coupon, it didn't specify the dollar amount it was for; I didn't know until I tried to use it on my latest purchase and THEN was told the order had to be $100+ .. I will add that a jacket I bought went on a Flash sale while I was waiting for days for the order to be "processed" and I complained about it to them.. a CS responded quickly and although they didn't match the Flash price, they did give me a partial refund. SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM APP STOREThis whole company is one very large scam. The only reason I downloaded the app is because on their website, for returns, it tells you to download the app and shows a step by step, which does not match the steps actually needed. They make it impossible to return anything. They lied about their location, not Washington but Hong Kong, they said 4-7 days shipping unless I paid $60 for expedited shipping, I paid $60 for shipping and then my order wasn’t processed until AFTER the delivery date I paid for. Shipping issueI bought 4 caps from this app. Shopping experience was good and the app shows you lot of options. However, the logistics section is a complete let down on the other hand. This is my story: - The order was updated as “has been shipped” and I got the shipment number. - Then the actual consignment never arrived. After one week of scheduled arrival, I had to contact support staff to enquire about the same. - They then gave me the courier name which was not provided earlier. - Then, on checking with courier company with the shipment number, got to know that the shipment number is invalid. - Then, the support staff told me that the order was not shipped in the first place. Just imagine! And, promised that they would be shipping the items in the fastest way possible. - That happened nearly one week back. But no further information on the shipment arrived. No further confirmation on it if the shipment was completed at all or not for the second time. - I need to constantly remind them that this was paid for upfront and they need to deliver or return the money, which is completely uncalled for in my view. It’s a border line case of **plain cheating**, at least what has happened to me so far. Poor customer serviceThe customer service is terrible, my order was waiting to be dispatched for more than a week until I contacted customer service to find out why they just said that the colour of the item I ordered was out of stock and instead of offering a different colour they just cancelled my order. I said I wanted a different colour so they changed my order and said it would be dispatched asap, it was waiting to be dispatched for another week and when I contacted customer service they didn’t bothered about giving priority to my order after waiting for more than two weeks to be dispatched, they didn’t care and just cancelled my order and issued a refund. Freud/disrespectfulThis app is not worth buying from. I placed an order and I started tracking the item. It was working fine. I was told that my order was delivered but I never received it. I messaged their customer service and was told to wait and they can’t do anything for 80-90 after the date of delivery, which in my case will be July, for them to investigate my order. I have spoken to my local delivery regarding the order and they have said to me that it was their fault and I need to contact the seller with a reference number they give me and tell them what has happened. I emailed customer service again with the reference number and told them what has happened and I got no reply. I then had to log into the app but I couldn’t because the email address I entered wasn’t recognised and I had to sign up again. So I signed up again with using the same email address as before and then I can’t see the orders I placed and you can only contact customer service if you order is showing. Still waiting for my refund, 4 months later.DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE! I ordered a two piece wedding garment back in September 2022 and they sent me a one piece body suit that was horrible and completely different to what I had ordered. I requested a return of the item and a full refund, and they offered to reimburse me about $30 of the cost of the item which cost me nearly $300. I declined their offer and demanded a reimbursement and returned the garment to the address they provided, to a warehouse in China. I never heard back from them even though I have tried several times to get a response for my reimbursement request.
