✓ Lots of free jigsaws but interruptions everywhere!Good points: Multiple sizes of jigsaws. -Easy to get the in-app currency by doing the jigsaws XLots of jigsaw packs available to buy with their in-app currency -You can change how they display the pieces, with another tab to separate some pieces out if you want to. Bad points: -You get interruptions when doing your jigsaw. You get some when it rewards you with coins for putting a certain % of pieces together. And you’ll get a ‘gift box’ show up on the side of your jigsaw for you to accidentally press. It’ll get you to watch an ad. Long before they added these, I paid not to have the ads as I just wanted to do the puzzles without any hassle. That has changed so much over the years that now the money is wasted. -It has very few different ‘cut’ of the jigsaws, at least on the larger jigsaws. It flips the cut to give you some variation but that’s all. It’s disappointing to see a piece and know exactly where it goes before you even start the puzzle. Overall, it’s not too bad to play for a while, but it gets tiring to play when you’re getting 4 ‘rewards’ that stop you mid-puzzle and getting the same jigsaw cut every time..Version: 3.31.4
✓ There was no option for zero starsI purchased a puzzle app with the expectation that there would be no ads. Now I’m $5 poorer and have to look at ugly ads unless I pay a $20 per month subscription. Just save your time and buy a jigsaw puzzle off of Amazon..Version: 3.23.3
✓ Works well but developers are getting greedyI have used this app for years and love the way it operates to complete puzzles. I have never minded dropping $6ish to purchase puzzle packs if I don’t have coins and have done so many times. However, since the addition of the VIP, more and more things have been disappearing. First, it was the daily draw where you could get a couple extra coins or some bonus items. Now you have to sit through ads and I never seem to get a decent prize at the end. Now, I just got on after an update and the background I’ve always used was gone. I use the one that was easiest on my eyes in a dark room and still had good contrast to the puzzles. I went to switch it back, and that background is now a “VIP Exclusive”. In what world are they expecting people to pay NINETY-NINE DOLLARS A YEAR to do puzzles. That’s just absurd. I didn’t mind when it wasn’t affecting my game play but now they’re taking things away from regular players. Greedy developers are going to lose all their players to the hundreds of other apps that work just as well and don’t take advantage of their customers..Version: 3.21.4
✓ Good for wasting timeFirst started playing magic jigsaws on my lap top but there were so many bugs and viruses eventually had to delete it and watch my wife play it on her iPad with no problems. Fast forward several years and I bought an iPad. After 5 weeks I have deleted the app as once again it is nothing but problems. The first one is just launching the programme. As soon as I try to open a jigsaw it tries to play an add. You should note I use the free version so expect to have some adds. I timed one add at more than 45 seconds. But that is not the worst part. It can then have 3 or 4 one after another. Again this can become even worse as sometimes after watching adds it freezes so I have to close it and then reopen and other times it closes for me. If I actually start a puzzle if the screen saver puts it to sleep I have to start the whole process again. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app the problem remains. All this happens when either in WiFi mode or in airplane mode. So although I have to self isolate for at least 12 weeks I have deleted the app. I am lucky, I have a garden. I can watch the grass grow - at least something is happening..Version: 3.22.6

✓ This WAS the best Jigsaw game on the market' This WAS the best jigsaw game on the market. I paid for this game to remove ads and other features years ago and would gladly buy packs. But now they’ve decided to charge via subscription for the “free” packs that I’ve already downloaded for offline play is an absolute disgrace. I would’ve been happy to pay for any new downloads, but to make me pay for things I already downloaded without is a greedy money grab. . Not a good business move to your loyal customers who have literally brought you heaps of new customers over the years. Why should we pay twice. In Australia it’s against consumer law to do what this company has done, basically steal stuff that you already have and have used. ✓ PuzzlesHave been playing this game for a few years now and quickly learned to switch off the WiFi and use a pen to move the pieces. Having paid to buy each puzzle set, resent having to pay more to stop the way they try sell you things you don’t want. Also not happy with the way the game slows down as you complete more of the puzzles. I enjoy playing this game and will continue to but hate the way they try to sell more games It has become a real issue when you have the hint box on screen and you brush against the left hand advert panel, the game resets, the dwell time between screens can be up to 30 seconds, slowing down the game. I notice that other players of this game have similar issues which would suggest poor programming in a bid to peddle poor products by this author. Return the game to its original setting and allow us to enjoy this game again..Version: 3.20.1
✓ Disappointed is an understatementHave enjoyed this game for years and in this time gained a significant number of puzzle packs until today, could not download any packs. Restarted iPad, disconnected and reconnected to WiFi, deleted and redownloaded app. On opening app after redownload, all packs and coins are gone, which I spent years accumulating. I understand now I was apparently responsible for backing up myself but this is not the norm for apps, usually it is just linked to your Apple ID and you can use that to restore purchases and honestly feel a huge sense of disappointment. Is there any way to get these back at all? Also surely it must be easier to just link peoples apple ids to their accounts rather than require Facebook? Just seems long winded and a waste of time especially when you’ve had the app 7+ years and never once been offered to link it to Facebook in the first place!.Version: 3.36.0
✓ The final strawI paid to go ad-free long ago. Since then there have been many updates and changes, and the app has gotten steadily worse. The helping hints things went away, the ability to play game packs offline disappeared, new irritating pop up game interruptions, fewer rewards… And now, I buy a new puzzle pack with my hard-earned coins, and I’m only allowed to use 5 out of the 30 in the pack! If I want to solve the rest, they want an ABSURDLY high subscription fee. If the game had stayed as enjoyable as it used to be, I wouldn’t mind paying for puzzle packs now and then. But their constant changes to try and squeeze more and more money out of users is disgusting. Other popular game apps don’t pull new money-making gimmicks endlessly while reducing enjoyability, and somehow they make money anyway. I don’t know what the deal is with this app. But this is the last straw. If your players earn the coins, and a puzzle pack has a price in coins, then when they buy the pack GIVE THEM THE WHOLE PACK. Otherwise it’s false advertising and a manipulation of your players. It shows the app developers cannot be trusted. Edit: oh, the latest update made it impossible to get your paltry reward points for a solve without having to accept watching an entire annoying ad as well. So much for paying to go ad-free. ✓ Freezing up all the timeI sent a message a few days ago. Since last update this program keeps freezing up. Can only do one puzzle if I’m lucky then have to close iPad turnoff and restart all the time. Luckily I have another jigsaw puzzle program that is working but it is not as good a program as yours was. I have paid for all the extras on this so expect to have it working. Can someone please check it out and get back to me? Thank you for your reply but do you have any idea how long it might be before this update is going to be available? Do you have a lot of people having the same issue, I’m sure I can’t be the only one. I have a lot of apps on my iPad but nothing else freezes up. ✓ Wonderful AppThis is one of the best apps available for the iPad. Both I and my wife love it. Especially good for long plane journeys, it's a great time killer, you're there before you know it. Only one down side and that is the power usage, it's extremely heavy on the battery. That said, I still love it and so will you. Update. Felt it was time to reevaluate this app as it keeps getting worse. The gameplay is still great but the problem is with the developers. I have paid to remove ads but the devs have stated that this is how they earn their money to provide support for this app. That’s fair enough but now the ads are popping up while you are actually doing a jigsaw. They will say they are not ads but chances for you to get more coins. The way you get more coins is by watching adverts. Can I please have my money back for the ad removal as you seem to be ignoring the promise made when you sold it to us..Version: 3.29.14
✓ Egads!Absolutely the best out there! Unfortunately they keep trying to fix it and make it worse with each update. I have never timed my physical puzzles as I just work them to relax but that’s not the case here as most everything is timed. The real problem is the stupid videos: if I was trying to get people to try my product I would not show you the place you’re going to be after you play for 15 hours and have to pay $45 to get there. I would also make it easier to out of the video; I should not have to wait 5 seconds for a 10 second video to start nor wait to puzzle out how to get to my “reward “. Why even have an “Emerald” card where you have to watch a daily video to get and you are already in a timed event and now the app has to search to even see if one is available? How about an update that tells you whether or not you have already watched the daily video? (Can’t have that-they want you to watch more!) I just took a screenshot showing where NOTHING shows so I can collect my reward, and I suspect it was waiting on some stupid animation which I guess is used to slow everything down. An app restart took care of that-something that I sure have had to do a lot recently. If the app wasn’t so good I would probably just give up, but I still like it, just probably not as much as a few years back..Version: 3.44.2
✓ Offline not availableI have used this app for years and suddenly you make it only available with internet access. Good way to lose customers. We travel a lot and this was a wonderful way to pass time in the car or plane, not to mention hotels without good fast internet connections, no longer available. You really want the VIP money I guess. Why bother having the adds then. Will move on to other apps who aren’t quite as greedy. Your response for not allowing offline play is just bogus. For at least 5 years I have been using this app and allowed to play offline, deleting packs I no longer use or reuse. You say with the update you want to safe space on our devices, yet all those puzzles I got and downloaded and can no longer access are STILL on my device, you didn’t store them you just made them unavailable to open. My device storage for your puzzles, supposedly on iCloud, is 1.2GB, funny how that doesn’t really safe on storage. What you want is the $100 annual fee period, then what I downloaded and is ON my computer, BEFORE your new iCloud idea will be available to me. Tell it like it is not a lie. You may not no longer download, but what was purchased or downloaded before the update, is just that downloaded but not accessible, without the fee..Version: 3.26.3
✓ Tired of not being able to do my puzzlesI’ve been try for several months now and this new update with this challenge that’s going on. I don’t want to be apart of the challenge. I just want to do what I want to do. Because you all have put this challenge on the app I’ve not been able to do anything with the game due to the challenge. Everyone should have the option to play the challenge or not. I DO NOT. So fix the issue or you’re going to be losing quite a number of people, followers b/c of the challenge. It want even allow me to opt out of the challenge. It just want let me do my puzzles. If I can’t do what I want then I guess you just lost a customer b/c this game has brought me through a lot being a cancer patient and have been stuck in my home since 2019. Now I don’t have this as an option. So I guess they put the challenge on to keep everyone that’s have the same issues no longer able to use the app. They need to fix the problem. ✓ Too much ‘extra’ stuff2014 I downloaded this app. Loved it for the quality of the puzzles and because I could just go from puzzle to puzzle, as could my toddler niece. Literally a 3 year old could use it. Now there’s just so many pop ups, challenges, mini games - I just want to do jigsaw puzzles, as does my son, but he can’t get thru all the stuff between games without me - difficult when I’m driving, which is when he does his puzzles. I understand why ads are there - they’re annoying but necessary - but one should be able to opt out of the challenges/missions..Version: 3.36.0
✓ So so frustrated.The pieces freeze up on every puzzle I do sometimes for several seconds, sometimes for longer so I just have to look away or be doing something else on a different device until it decides to get unstuck. I deal with that thinking it’s just slow. Sometimes I can’t get on it at all,and/or sometimes it just keeps blacking out altogether so then I try over and over to get back on the app;but other times I just have to give up and not play. I have it on my apple 8phone and my iPad. It’s worse on the iPad which is where I like to play it because screen is larger. I build up so much frustration with all the problems that I’m worse off than when I started to play which is the opposite of why I wanted to play in the first place.....because puzzles are relaxing for me. If only, if only it would work. Honestly I very rarely get all the way through a 72 pc puzzle without a hitch. Tell me why is that. ✓ Rating keeps decreasingI’ve been playing magic puzzles for quite a while, have even suggested it to a lot of people because I enjoyed it so much, but I feel the game is going downhill quickly. I love the new puzzle packs added but it has gotten to the point where it feels a “free to play” game is trying to force you to pay to play. The VIP pack was changed from 5 dollars to remove ads and let you play certain puzzle packs to 7.99 a week, 9.99 a month or 100 for the year. That’s more than most games that I have seen or play. More ads got added to the game on top of the ads that you can voluntarily watch and seeing as free games get money for ads I see even less of a reason why the vip pack costs as much as it does when I have to watch an ad to play the normal puzzles as well as the monthly puzzles when before it was just the extra monthly puzzles I had to watch ads for. One of the many features I enjoyed the most was the fact that I could play offline. I travel a lot and being in the car for long periods of time I don’t have access to internet. They have now removed that option unless you purchase the VIP package. I’m sad to see that, although new packs are being added constantly, the game seems to be nothing more than a money grab anymore..Version: 3.48.9
✓ Good app, bad ads and featuresI’ve been using this app for a few years now and love the quality of it; it makes doing puzzles very fun and it is very well designed. However...the ads are becoming so disruptive it’s almost impossible to get through a puzzle (especially the more difficult ones that require more focus) due to how invasive and often glitchy the ad pop ups are. There was an ad-free purchase option in the past I’d love to see again, as paying 100$ a year for VIP is too costly for most people and I’m honestly fine with just the puzzle packs I’ve already paid for, rather than unlimited access to thousands. The puzzle selection is somewhat plain too, just a lot of photos of cities or flowers and animals. I want to continue using this app, but now that VIP is required to download puzzles to play offline, this might be what makes me delete it. Many people use this app while away from home and WiFi, and that takes away one of the main times we actually use it. If you don’t do the daily “free” puzzle within a certain number (three according to the developer) of days, you then have to subscribe with a monthly fee of $9 a week. I have daily free puzzles that I haven’t done from September 2019, which are still available, but all future puzzles won’t be.😡😡😡😡😡😡 Had a response from the developer. What a joke. ✓ Too many ads - not fun any more!👎👎This could be the best puzzle app out there, and it was for many years. I loved it.....until now. There are so many ads i can’t believe it. You can’t start a puzzle or do anything without being forced to view an ad....and they’re not short ads. The developers have moved an ad strip next to the puzzle piece strip. You can’t help accidentally hitting it, which opens up a browser with more ads. This area used to be a second piece strip. If was such a great idea, to be able to pull aside certain pieces, rather than dragging them onto the board, which you now have to do. Making these puzzles has gone from a fun relaxing experience to a frustrating and annoying continual bombardment of forced ads. I’m so sad to have to rate this game one star, when it used to be 5 stars. You developers have taken something wonderful and through your greed turned it into trash. It’s no fun any more. What a shame. Update: I received a canned response from the developer about how they need ads to pay for the free games. I get that. But what about some of the other issues I mentioned??? ✓ Love the puzzles, but...I was working a puzzle but had to close the app for a few minutes. Then, upon re-opening and trying to return to the same puzzle, an ad played. Fine, I am used to waiting it out, but once the ad animation finished, it brings up the app store page where one may decide to download the advertised game; I did not want it as had that game before and didn’t particularly enjoy it. The option to select “Done” and thus return me to the Magic Puzzle game does not not work, however. I cannot leave the download page for Matchington Mansion (the advertised game), even after downloading that game (which again, I do not want), at least not without closing the Magic Puzzles app altogether. I tried doing that and returning to Magic Puzzles, hoping it might reset itself, but no luck...I even turned my phone on and off, turned Javascript on and off in browser, etc., but to no avail. Each time I click back on the Magic Puzzles app, I am returned to the ad download page for the game I do not want and cannot get that page to close and return me to Magic Puzzles. ✓ Very goodI enjoy this, love puzzles. The daily puzzle is a must. But after so many years could we have some variety of shapes? Some pieces always go in the same place and this spoils it for me. Still the best jigsaw app I've tried. The only thing wrong with this app is that there is still no change to the shape of the pieces. Still the same pieces in the same places, with the updates and extra ads I’d have thought there could be some variety. Did this every day for years until the last update. I bought the no ads version now there are pop up ads even when the game has started, so annoying. Don’t want to watch an ad to get a few stars that were free before, especially when in the middle of the puzzle. Breaks the concentration and ruins the game. ✓ WAS the best...So, my first review got deleted so I’ll try again. A while back I would have given this app 150 stars. This has been my go-to puzzle app for years. I had to change ipads, and when I downloaded this app again I discovered that there were now ads. Not just ads, but constant ads that they insist on a SUBSCRIPTION to get rid of. Seriously? I understand puzzle packs costing money, I’ve bought quite a few in this app alone. I can even understand having the option to subscribe for a certain number of puzzles over a certain period of time. But to have to pay over and over again to keep the app ad-free just reeks of greed. These ads interrupt the flow of the game, and they have taken over the space that used to be available for sorting the pieces. I was also dismayed to discover that downloading the puzzles for offline use was now only a subscription-only option. It used to be that every puzzle pack I purchased got downloaded. I’m paying actual money (not just in-game coins) to purchase puzzles. This is absurd. I’ll give the developers some time to come to their senses and fix this, but otherwise I’ll have to switch to an inferior, more sensible app made by someone else..Version: 3.28.2
✓ PuzzlesI have sent numerous reviews.. I love doing puzzles.. What happened to the left side where we can send pieces.. I like it better then both on the right side.. The only gripe I have is who does the monthly puzzles?? This is August and it's back to school time or getting into fall crops or country pictures... No where near what we get is based on the month upcoming events.. I'll add another comment ..Not everyone can afford to buy puzzles or coins..The amounts per each size of the game doesn't help us achieve and points to buy any puzzles. Used to have more free puzzles but now you've raised the amounts to high..and for those of us with glasses sure wish you'd adjust the size of the piece a tad more. Nov.6,2018.. I do not like the two sided places for the pieces. As we get older we like the piece to be a tad bigger.. Plus the fact that it's very costly to buy any puzzles..And what is the lightning rod thingy for? I love putting puzzles together but this latest upgrade has it freezing and some of the ones I've completed doesn't show they are unless I've clicked on it and it shows completed.I don’t like the new way of getting coins. ✓ Not impressedI have been doing your free puzzles everyday for years, I take strong pain medication every day and I like to do the puzzles whilst waiting for the medication to start working, I also do some of the other packs of puzzles but not every day. My reason for not being very happy is that the daily puzzles have gone down in my estimation it’s either food, Halloween or some other rubbish. What happened to the lovely scenery and buildings that we used to get? I don’t even mind some of the animals but I don’t want to be looking at a picture of some food that looks revolting especially as I’ve just eaten breakfast. Please, please go back to the way you were before. I know you must have millions of people do your puzzles but I won’t be one of them for much longer if I keep looking at pictures of pumpkins, curries and other foodstuff..Version: 3.40.1

✓ Unable to do July puzzles.Since I updated your app just over a week ago, I have been unable to do July’s daily puzzles. I click on the box and I am just taken to a black page. I can’t do anything about it. I accept that I have to watch ads, but quite often they are long & repetitive and sometimes I need to wait a while after they have finished before being able to tap the cross that appears. Update a few days later: I could do some puzzles for a few days. Now the problem has returned. Today, after trying several times, an advert ran. Then immediately returned me to the puzzle box, so I am not able to do today’s puzzles. Result- no coin rewards on offer. If I choose a puzzle from another selection, an advert is shown & I can complete puzzles. Judging from other reviews, I think It is about time this problem is sorted..Version: 3.31.4
✓ Used to be the best but recently freezes too often. 5 star before.I play a lot of games on my ipad but this is the only one that suffers from frequent freezing instances both now and on earlier versions. The freezes are random and can last up to 30 seconds (where whatever movements you’ve done during the freeze are buffered, then once it unfreezes itself, your buffered movements cause the pieces to move everywhere). Sometimes it won’t freeze at all for hours of play then multiple times in an hour which is when I just quit and play something else. On the flip side, I love the app when it does work and has the best selection of jigsaws hence why I’m so frustrated at the frequent lockups. EDIT. The problem is definitely linked to the apps constant communication to the internet during play. Once a new puzzle is started, disabling Wi-Fi allows the game to work flawlessly. And no, my internet is not the issue. 300mb fiber optic has no problems video streaming nor playing high graphic content games like COD etc.Version: 3.43.5
✓ Money-grabbing gameI’ve had this app for at least years, since the time we didn’t need to watch any ads for playing this. I am someone who focuses on playing games without paying, because it shows how good the game is and once I deem that game worth my money I’ll pay. Sadly, even if this was one of the first game I got, it is not worth it. The bigger this game grew, the greedier the developers became. Now I can’t play the easiest puzzles without watching ads, they keep spamming me about downloading other games and the monthly puzzles which were ALWAYS free started to become non-accessible for people who didn’t pay anything. I had hoped this game wouldn’t become a money-grabber with the grown of it’s popularity, but it seems I have underestimated the greed of people..Version: 3.33.4
✓ Love this app! But last update wasn’t good.Update: after the last update, moving the puzzle pieces is glitchy. Also, I used to love the video of the solve, but since this last update, you only get to watch the most recent pieces being placed. (I’d still like to zoom in on the preview. And I’d still like to have a way to better organize my puzzle packs.) Please fix the glitches and bring back the full movie of the solve! Still hours and hours of fun. Can you make it so we can zoom in - in high resolution - on the preview picture? Great app! Tons of fun! I love that you don't need Internet in order to play as I take it to every waiting room! It's great for those of us who love puzzles but don't have the space. This is much better than the other puzzle app I tried. Very easy to use. I would like to be able to lock the puzzle. I would like to be able to zoom in on the puzzle preview - not just the puzzle pieces. Also, I lost my magic hints with the new update. I think if you use the magic eye hint for a puzzle, it should stay there until you are done - not go away every time you close the app. One last request - I've done so many puzzles I'd like to be able to move my completed puzzles to a folder. ✓ Ads even while trying to make purchaseI would give this five stars, but I have a huge issue with the ads. These greedy developers find it necessary to bombard you with ads, even while browsing their shop!!! I clicked on a puzzle pack I wanted to buy and an ad popped up!! I can understand an ad before or after completing a puzzle, but even while scrolling through the shop they spewed ad after ad. Unacceptable. Then when reading through the help guide, not only did they continue to assault me with ads, but I found out that the only way to get rid of the ads is by purchasing the 5 dollar golden deal, which includes three puzzle packs I have no interest in. Most apps will remove ads with any real money purchase, but this one requires you to buy puzzles you don’t want for 5 dollars and then you have to pay another 3-5 dollars on top of that for the puzzle pack you do want. What’s more is that while you are working on the puzzle, they deliberately place the ad banner right next to the puzzle pieces, and I have accidentally clicked on the ad multiple times while trying to grab a puzzle piece. And guess what happens after you close the ad you accidentally loaded and try to reload your puzzle? Yep, another ad. Greedy, greedy developers!!!.Version: 3.4.3

✓ Seriously fed upThe positives: a great jigsaw puzzle app, works as well as its possible for a puzzle to work - once you get it working. The negatives: the manic, horrible “marketing” structure. When you load the app you get a sequence of three screens randomly popping in on whatever you are doing. When you select the puzzle you are doing you get a grid of 15 cards to select from - once you have watched a video. You can shut it down if you don’t want to watch, there’s a cross in the top left corner. But tapping the cross just locks up the app, so you have to shut it down and start again. Ipad pro guys, tons of memory and totally up to date. When you get to the end there is another video to watch. Seriously, I don’t want to watch the inane video ads. And you apparently can’t get rid of the ads unless you buy a VIP option for $100 plus. Really!!! ✓ Frustration plusLove the puzzles when the app doesn't freeze which is becoming more and more often. Constantly having to close program down and reopen up to 4 or 5 times to get it to start working. ✓ A daily challengeI having been doing these puzzles for a few years now and really enjoy the daily puzzle. With no picture to help you they are a challenge. Not all the puzzles are to my taste and when I find one I don't like I exit and do it with less pieces so it's easier. The latest update which now tells us where the picture is set is a great improvement as I have often wondered where the beautiful scenes are located. Only down side is that the puzzle app often takes ages to open and I have to try several times before I can get started. ✓ Adverts freezing playI’ve had this game for years now and accept that adverts are necessary to enable free play but they are getting increasingly annoying. They pop up in the middle of a puzzle for no reason and the some of the adverts that come up as a result of bonus card games and even those that allow you to open and start a puzzle or come up in the middle of a game will not allow you to close the advert. The only way out is to close the app. Once is bad enough but sometimes it can happen 3 or 4 times in a row before you can get it to continue. ✓ Best app I've purchasedThis app really keeps the boredom at bay. There are thousands of puzzles, and most packs are a reasonable price. I would have given the app 5 stars, but the new ‘rewards’ thing freezes every time so basically, after watching whatever ad comes up, I can’t pick a card and instead have to close the app down and reopen it to get back on a puzzle... without receiving a reward. The rewards really help on some puzzles or to get those extra few coins to get a new puzzle pack so they are needed. Sometimes the app freezes up part way through doing a puzzle or it becomes slow. I have to shut down the app and reopen it again but am able to continue from where I left off. ✓ No longer relaxingGreat, vibrant pictures. I have been happily doing these puzzles for years, and the developers have ramped up changes. It is no longer just a puzzle game, it is something else! Be prepared to be “rewarded” with 5 or 6 coins for every few pieces you connect. This reward is a total stop to your focus just so that you can accept! No longer do you have to complete a puzzle for your reward - this is the new age where everyone gets a trophy. Let’s not stop there, but throw in challenges (which is just completing puzzles and you can’t avoid them) and competitions (bonus awards for whoever completes the most). You have no way to just complete a puzzle anymore. The pleasure of working this portable puzzle is gone. The developers have forgotten why people do puzzles in the first place. ✓ Last upgrade was a huge flop!I love this puzzle game but since the last "upgrade" to supposedly fix some "glitches" it has been a nightmare. It has always had some issues with freezing up now and then but it is now ridiculous. I usually have to restart it an average of five or six times in the course of doing two puzzles. Shame on the developers for releasing this dog of an "upgrade." Hopefully they will fix it soon. If it weren't for the excessive freezing I would have rated it much higher. Over two months later and several updates not much has changed. The app doesn't freeze up as much but in order to transition from a completed puzzle to a new puzzle you pretty much have to close the app and then reopen it. Also doesn't always open on the first try and you have to try again. I am not going to uninstall and reinstall as I have no confidence that I will get back any of the puzzle packs I paid for and I am not going to put myself in the position of having to fight with them over it. ✓ What happened?This has been my favorite app and used it for years. But not sure what you all did but the ads that pop up ALL the time has gotten ridiculous!!!! ✓ Disappointing ad contentI understand the purpose of ads, and that is not the problem. Ad versions allow me to try out an app before committing to buy which I love, and do appreciate from developers, although this has benefit for both sides. However, the ads are a big thing that have put me off buying this app. The content of the ads is atrocious. For the last little while I have had no ads except ones for scam diet pills and scam “electricity-saving” gadgets. These ads are preying on the desperate and the gullible. The fact that these ads are allowed anywhere near your app makes me question the developers integrity. I do not see these ads on any of the other apps that I use so I can only presume that there must be an ability for the developer to choose ad content. I’ve now deleted the app and have downloaded a different one. I will however still give you 3 stars as I did enjoy the puzzles, although I prefer being able to access the whole puzzle and also a few of the pieces are very obviously shaped and I noticed that the shapes of every puzzle are all the same. ✓ Okay puzzles, obnoxious offensive adsI’ve used this puzzle app on and off for several years. When I got an iPad I decided to take advantage of the beautiful graphics and try it again. The puzzles are nice enough, but as other reviewers have pointed out, the pieces are identical for a given number of pieces and eventually I could see the patterns which decreased the challenge a bit. Still, I liked the pictures and the daily puzzles, and enjoyed chasing the challenges from time to time. What finally drove me to delete the app are the ads. They are constant! Before starting a puzzle, okay, I can see that. But now, in the middle of working a puzzle they give you a “reward” which is just an excuse to run another ad! The greater the number of pieces, the more often this happens. I could even put up with that, until an ad popped up that I found very offensive. It was for a zombie apocalypse survival game, I think, and it was full of violence to a shocking extent, before it made it clear that these were zombies being mowed down, not just innocent bystanders as it first appeared! ✓ I want my money back.I used to love this game, but then I deleted it because of lack of storage on my phone. I downloaded it again today, I opened the app, and it immediately popped up with the thing that requires your password to pay. I was angry but decided that I might as well see if the (accidental) upgrade was worth it. I also figured that if it wasn’t, I could restore purchases and get my money back.
