✓ Great app for finding cheap accommodationI’ve been using this app to find cheap last-minute accommodation in South-East Asia & it’s been great. Improvements would be to filter by places that offer breakfast, and female-only forms - this would save so much time scrolling through numerous properties looking for the one that offers you what you want/need. Update: it would be useful to be able to contact Agoda through the app before making a booking - at the moment, you have to select the booking you want to contact them about, but if you have a query about that accommodation before you book it and there’s no option to contact them directly (sometimes there is, sometimes there isn’t), you have to go online to find Agoda’s email address and message them separately. Also, it’s stated a few times under ‘what they offer’ that a place offers free breakfast when in fact they don’t, as stated in a different section - please rectify this..Version: 6.26.0

✓ ConvenientI’ve been using Agoda for 5 years now. Booking hotel in this app is fast and easy same as if you make amendments in your bookings or if you make cancellation. If there is no option to make amendments, their customer service is very good in helping you out. The best thing i love about this is you can book hotels and pay it later, also you can cancel your bookings without fee for certain period of time. Always lots of information on the accommodation advertised and usually more than 1 option for each motel which is great because it gives you flexibility to change your booking if required. On 2 occasions now for reasons beyond my control ( ie: death in family and Tigerair cancelling all flights to Bail) Agoda has even gone the extra mile for me and got full refunds on accommodation that was no cancellation/refund or changes to travel dates. ✓ My favorite hotel websiteI use agoda almost exclusively because it’s the easiest to use with the best photos, info and filters. Would be awesome if I could book two different kinds of rooms at once. I recently booked a room for my parents at the same hotel with myself and my husband. My parents can afford a nicer room and I had to go through the checkout process twice because agoda won’t allow you to choose two different classes of rooms at the same time. Just a little annoyance. Also, I’d be so happy if we could sort hotels based on how highly people rate them. We can only do it based on price or hotel star rating. The rates for two if the nicer chain hotels in our area were the best on the aggregator apps we use and hotels would not match them when phoned directly, so that’s one huge plus. Twice we made errors in our booking (typed wrong name / wrong date) in our distraction during our emergency and both times Agoda was able to address the change last minute with really patient and efficient customer service. After completing my booking I realised I had booked it for that same day instead of the date I had meant to, which meant it was outwith any cancellation window. I called immediately and the customer service line was very helpful, polite & professional. They advised it was outwith their cancellation period but they would contact the hotel to see if they would cancel it free of charge which they agreed to. ✓ Misconduct and lack of professionalismI made a booking with Agoda six months ahead of my accommodation date for an exam. I was informed 3 days before the potential start that the property has problems to receive me with some technical amendments. ✓ Got lucky…but confirmed accurate reservation with property to be sure.I’ve booked three stays with agoda in the past 6 months. Each time I received the stay, in the intended room I booked. All three stays were at a resort in St Pete Beach, Florida. I have to say that Agoda has some “extra” room categories that are actually duplicates with different titles. So you may book a gulf Front suite for $225 and a sea view suite for $300 and they are actually the same suite. I recommend doing your research, which may include looking at other sites/property site or confirming with hotel. It might be extra work but the savings on Agoda made it worth it for us. I actually also confirmed with Agoda app under bookings and with someone over the phone with Agoda. Each time the information matched up. Felt especially confident after hotel directly was able to confirm after booking. Have to say, I’d do all these things, with any third party booking site..Version: 9.20.0

I’m still note sure about the flights section, will give it another try once the borders open up again OLD REVIEW: I’ve been using Agoda for almost a decade, always been happy with their service...so when they added airlines, I jumped on it and bought ticket to Seoul. That was the worst decision, they use a 3rd party provider which complicates things to say the least. Even though the airline cancelled my flights 3 months back, I still have no confirmation of my refund...last email I got from them (2 weeks back) it says we will let you know between 2-4 months!!! That will be a whole 7 months I have them $1300. Every time I call, I’m told they have no feedback from their partner....which obviously doesn’t fill me with confidence. The funny thing is, I booked a hotel at the same time and that’s been as painless as ever, the moment I called them explained the situation....I got a full refund, even though I had no cancellation policy. Avoid booking a flight if you can, I will still recommend the hotel side.....if they a better partner for flights or go direct I would reconsider. ✓ Exceptional ServiceI am currently staying at the Harris Hotel in Seminyak, Bali. For the first two nights, I did not sleep well due to noise from kitchen machinery below my room. I was then changed to another room, which seemed like an improvement. However, it was a room that adjoined another and in the adjoining room I was kept awake by screaming children. The staff dealt with this well, but my sleep had been disturbed again. So, after 3 nights of little sleep, I went to reception and asked to speak with the Manager. Ibu Wie was the manager on duty that day. She was so kind and listened to my plight. She then offered to change my room again, this time on the top floor and not an adjoining room. I moved with the help of staff member Andika, who was also very warm and sympathetic. My room is fantastic and I have slept well every night since moving here. I want to say a big THANK YOU to Ibu Wie, Andika and the wonderful staff here at the Harris Hotel. You are all so friendly and helpful and cater to my needs superbly. Your kindness and sensitivity is much appreciated and I will definitely be back to stay again without hesitation..Version: 6.40.0
✓ Lancaster hotel in Mactan, Cebu PhilippinesVery disappointing. Not safe, no wifi, no phone. The room is dirty and dilapidated. I have pictures to send. You should not call this a hotel. It is a dump. Toilet does not flush, and we have to go down to front desk to report and maintenance guy came and said he will fix it tomorrow. Not staying here another night. Not deserve a star at all. Agoda this place is in contrary to what you state in your website. NO WIFI at all. Not even a phone to call the front desk. Where can I download my pictures of this place? ✓ My experience over the yearsOver a span of about ten years I have used Agoda maybe 4 / 5 times a year only ever one problem when I reached a certain hotel . They said I hadn’t paid . I called Agoda passed the phone to the receptionist and within three minutes she was showing me to my room . A company I will always use because I trust them .
