✓ Great but…This app is great! It’s helped me make soo many stop motions with my lego guys. But ever since the new update I’ve had to give up on my stop motion because the camera bobs up and down randomly. (and yes, it’s not me bumping the camera nor is it my tripod, I have enough evidence to prove) apparently I’m not the only one experiencing this and I’ve tried many ways to fix it to no avail, if I could get some help that’d be great. But other than that, my experiences are great and this app is amazing.Version: 11.0
✓ Bring back the audio save feature!I love this app it's what i do all my stop motions on before I upload them to YouTube,But the new update has been for the worse,before the update if I recorded a sound I'd be able to access it again on one of the tabs....say I recorded a person running I could go to the tab and it would have all the sounds that I'd recorded,so if i made someone run again I could use that sound,but now there's no tab for that so id have to record the same sound over and over because in this update it doesn't save your sound,stop motion is an already tedious art but now i also have to keep recording the same sound because the tab where it automatically saves is gone😡.Version: 8.3.1
✓ Drawing RotoScopingHello developers or developer. I have used the app for 4 weeks now, over all great experiences. One area I like is to have a response to emails to my questions before purchases please. Improvement areas would be in RotoScoping the drawing experience is anything in fine detail like 0.5 with a Apple pen appears not to work. I like to be able to rotor screen and not by hand. As in to rotate the screen physical is a backwards way of thinking. Frame by frame from using the RotoScoping is basic not much details can be added. Think Procreate take away 100 % and your their. This is not a negative, just something you can improve upon. Such as adding back ground layer maybe a green screen in RotoScoping. At the moment you have to do this frame by frame ! The other areas of time line and stop motion are good very good. I did add a back ground colour in the menu like green screen but was unable to add to whole time line. Especially like the head phone jack for press to take images while in stop motion. At the price a person wishing to buy cannot complain. I like to see more on line videos to explain and answer questions. These I found limited to my questions. Whenever I make a mistake and press the camera button, it does not go back to the record section. And even if I try to fix it is still in the camera section. ✓ Impossible to use.Unfortunately, I am unable to use this app. The tutorial will not close. I have tried opening and closing the app, and nothing has worked. When I close the tutorial screen, the “purchase premium” page appears and the tutorial screen pops right back up. When I go through the whole tutorial, there is no option to close it. Its just one big loop. TL;DR: Tutorial screen will not close. I have used this app in the past, and it was great. But now you have to pay for everything, and you can’t even use the app properly. ✓ Add focus!!!I loved using this app for a long time and it was really good so I paid for Stop Motion pro. Then I try animating again a few years later and all of a sudden everything is blurry and out of focus. Zooming in makes thing blurry even with extremely good camera. Now my animations don’t look nice so I tried taking 10 pictures out of the app and then importing them and it isn’t blurry but it only imports one of the pictures. I was about giving this five star but then change my mind, please add a focus feature..Version: 11.4.1

✓ Very time consuming and can’t do muchIt is just really time consuming unless you do 1 FPS. I am trying to do something professional and doing a good 10 FPS. But when it takes about 0.75 sec to take a picture it is just time consuming. I would like it to have a burst option. Also I can’t do much with this app because imma kid and rather spend allowances on figures and gear. When it’s you either spend 5 bucks or none I just can’t stand that option. I wanted to add a title so I clicked on the one I wanted and did Face ID to pay but because my sister had, it said “A family member has already paid so you get this for free,” and then I clicked ok but it came up with this “An unknown error occurred,” and I clicked ok and I clicked back and I hadn’t got it. I closed the app, turned off my phone and deleted the app and reinstalled it and tried again but it still wouldn’t let me. ✓ Not the best experienceI went into the app and at first it was alright and then there would be situations when I needed to do something and didn’t know how to do it. The settings were vague and the website was not supportive. This could be my device but still not a pleasant experience. An occasion was when I didn’t know how to delete a recording and there were no instructions explaining how to do it? I’ll also mention that when ever I want to add something simple to making my video, I need to pay for it? ✓ Great features…but locked behind a paywallThis app has excellent features, but they are locked behind a paywall. My teacher assigned us a project for Biology in which we have to make a stop motion video. We are not supposed to use narration, but we have to put descriptions in the animation, most likely as subtitles. I loved using this app when I was younger, but going back to it it’s really annoying that 95% of the features you have to pay for. I know it’s not expensive and permanent but I may just use it for this one project. Why is there even the option to put text if when you try to edit it, it forces you to pay for premium??? Great features, but calling the app itself “free” is incorrect, in order to use most of the features you have to pay. It’s nice that premium is a onetime thing though. ✓ Over all good but 3 big flawsNow I am 8 years old and I love this app but it does have some flaws here are 3. #1. Most movies have like over 2,000 frames right so how come as I was making a movie it like ignored a few vital frames I needed or it wouldn’t make sense. #2. I drew a great frame and I accidentally undid the pencil marks on the frame, and went out to see if it all was undone then I remembered I could just undo what I undid but because I went out now I can’t undo what I all ready did and when it was an accident and like why do that? #3. I really like the settings in there like you can make the movie look symmetrical or even upside down but it’s for the entire movie so it’s not understandable because your asking like do you want a totally upside down movie um... no! I wish you could select the frames you wanted to look like that and it would be so cool. ✓ I paid for in-app features but they wouldn’t work,I downloaded this app and straight away purchased the in app features for $8.99 only for them not to work. I was able to make a basic film which was fun but every time I went into settings in the app to do some special effects the add-on icon kept showing as if I hadn’t yet purchased it! In the app itself, all add-on features had the ‘unlocked’ icon showing which only proved they were paid for! ✓ Horrific without proI was unable to use 4/5 of the features due to the fact that I had not bought pro. When I chose to download the app because it had many amazing reviews, I was really excited as I love the stop motion movies by aardmam studios and was keen on creating some myself with my LEGO collection. But when I first opened the app and tried it, I was strictly limited with the features which were limited($4.99 for something that will only ask for more without providing you with pro - what seems to be said by other comments) This is why I believe that the owner(s) really need to change the app so that all people who chose not to get pro can actually do some good quality stop motion movies and have some fun with it without being so restricted in choosing the edits. The only reason that comes to my mind about why they are giving you no option but to pay for pro is that they are suffering from the pandemic and need more money. Now even without the premium it’s ok but you can’t really add special effects like at all, I had to get a whole other app the add effects because I didn’t want to buy the premium. Now there is something annoying besides not having the premium, it’s the fact that the phone HAS to be landscape?! ✓ Sound doesn’t playWould be great if we could hear the sound that’s been added to each clip. I paid to add the feature of sound effects and yet every time I hit play to check the sound, no sound plays (even though I can see it’s been added to the frame). When I save the video to my camera roll there is sound then - but it’s pretty useless having sound if you can’t edit it to make sure it’s in the right spot (let alone check if you actually like the sound!). However it turns out that you have to pay for every single one of these “amazing features.” I wasn’t expecting the free version to be as good as the pro version, but I expected better than this. ✓ ConfusedFirst of all, the app is pretty good. loved the app at first, but it’s very hard to work with. You have to pay to use most of the good things that I saw in the video. I love making stop motion things, but please before you make the trailer please show that not all things are free. There were a couple of glitches too. Another thing I suggest you fix is the things that aren’t free. On other apps, you can just take screenshots and download a video editor and then you can add all the effects. But for some reason it’s not free. In the trailer I was so pumped because I could do whatever I wanted with the stuff. I would give it five stars if you could change some of that. But hey! ✓ Great app, but I am unable to find a solution.I want to start off by saying that this app is amazing and I use it as an alternative to many of the other stop motion editing softwares as it is much easier. I have used this app for about 8 months and have spent countless hours animating. I have bought all of the add ons to get the full experience and make my stop motions as best as I can. That said recently I have encountered a problem that is not only irritating but unnecessarily difficult. Recently the merge option has been greyed out, although his might not seem like such a big problem it is really irritating. I am currently working on an ant man and the wasp LEGO trailer stop motion, and a character known as the ghost has powers that require a merge of different slides, the shrinking and growing effects also require the same method but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to fix this. I have attempted to contact the developers through the website, but I got an error display and couldn’t move further. If this is only a simple bug that can be fixed or a patch that has been ridiculously over complicated than I need to know. I have spent about an hour researching if others have encountered the same problem or are having trouble but I can’t find anything, if anyone has any solutions or the developers themselves see this then please help. The only thing I liked about this update is you can add text to whatever frame you want, but I hate all the buttons you have to press to zoom in, instead of just zooming in on the screen with your fingers. ✓ Disappointing use to be greatHad this a while now. Got it as my son is into animation. Suddenly he has lost audio. No matter if his tablet has full volume, he can record and we can see the audio wave being created, but playing back there is zero sound. I tried to report the problem but got sent to an error page when clicking to contact the developer. Otherwise this has been a very user friendly app. My son is autistic with a developmental delay. He has such a love for animation. This helped him become more actively involved, rather than only watching the making of animations. It also gave us a nice thing to do together and explore. ✓ Not the bestSo I am in high school, taking an animation class. Currently we are using this to make a claymation. I have notice a couple problems with it. The camera does not focus well, which is a big problem. It also has a glitch where sometimes if you hit the undo frame, it will delete all your other projects. When that happend to me, I was not happy. Now, this last part may just be nitpicking, but when I saw the official company’s animation, I saw their fingers in it, and the animation was not smooth. Even with all these problems, I do recommend for a beginner to use. Just fix these problems and I will raise my review. Thank you. Edit: I saw some reviews about it not having working music, but that’s not true, in my animation class(where I first heard about this app) we are using sticker mouths and having them say stuff, with uses audio. ✓ This app makes you pay for everythingOk. I install this app being an animation fan and is the only free app I could find. I get into it and discover 99% of it you need to pay for. I constantly have to voice my own sounds which are ridiculous compared to the sound drive. When I want to use a sound again I'll just have to voice it because you can't go into the sounds tab and reuse it without all the features. You can't even go to the gallery because it's blocked by the help and download buttons. I'm sure they design this app for newer phones, with bigger screens but to fix that though they'll just up the iOS and I won't be able to use it anymore. I can't argue with the price though, only 5 bucks for full feature pack, but I don't have any money on the App Store. Honestly this app is ok as it is, but please add more features to the free version because I can barely use it..Version: 9.1

So, I’m making a lego movie, and tapped a sound affect I wanted. Then it says I need to pay $8 to get the sound affect. I didn’t mind to much. Let’s just get a background. Oh. $8 also needed.
