✓ DisappointedChecked out the web page and the brewery search was a cool function. Tried the road trip function for a trip in going on and it just searched. For about 15 hours... So I figure the app would be better so I spent the $$ to download it. Road trip still doesn't work. Disappointed and out $ at this point. Will still use the "local" breweries but still... ✓ Nice idea + poor data = uselessRecent "big update is a "big disappointment." Great idea, nice app, terrible data. Half the locations are either private or supposedly "planned." Many of these" are listed at mailbox stores or private homes--unhelpful. Other "planned" places are long abandoned. And no way to filter the map display? A new widget showing nearby places includes a brewpub closed for almost 10 years. But this place doesn't show on the app map -- so I guess that's OK? Not really. (The four star review here must come from someone connected to the developer.).Version: 3.0.0

✓ BreweryMap-Allow users to help update infoI just downloaded the BreweryMap app and checked my area. We currently have 2 breweries locally which are not listed on your App; however, there is the one & only listed which has closed a few months ago. If you would allow users of this app assist in keeping information updated it could help others locate these Breweries. You can confirm info before placing in your App. Hopsoul in Brunswick, GA is the one which has closed. Silver Bluff and Barrier Island is not on your App and currently operating. I’ve visited Tantrum brewery in Cleveland, GA and Omaha Brewing in Omaha, GA which is also not listed either..Version: 3.1.0
✓ Functional Brew AppThis app has a comprehensive list of breweries by region and I really like the Road Trip feature. It is fairly accurate on the brews each brewery offers. It would be a great app if it would allow you to search by specific beer styles for the region you are in. Recently I was in San Diego and wanted to find breweries with sour beers. When using the search function I could find beers and breweries with "sour" in the name but not breweries who offer sour beers. Further, search results were not local to the region. Overall I like the app and will continue to use it but it could be more functional..Version: 3.0.2
✓ Could be great, but instead it’s UI is clunky and full of errorsI really want to love this app…but it’s UI is terrible and often laggy - especially on larger iPad screens. It often hides the website, address, and phone info behind a wall “images”… which usually never load. Clicking on images usually does nothing, but if you can figure out where the website link is located **behind the pictures** sometimes you can click them blindly **THROUGH** the picture. Also in map areas which are dense in breweries, navigating through pins can be difficult, search filter are usually not useful or filter incorrectly (breweries vs. brew pubs/beer bars), have found a lot of outdated info also “post-Covid.” Plus aside from seeing pins with names on a map…there isn’t much useful info about the environment, beer styles, food options, indoor/outdoor seating….etc….so you have to go to the website anyways. It usually easier to just use Apple Maps. Like I said…It’s just sad, as it could be awesome if they just worked and interfaced better with breweries like Untapped..Version: 3.1.0

✓ Very disappointedFirst, I would like to say that the app works flawlessly on my phone. It is quick and efficient. The reason why I'm disappointed is the fact that it does not deliver what it promises: breweries/brew pubs wherever you go. While the creators did their homework in the US, it doesn't always seem to be the case in Canada. There are lots of great breweries in the great white north but several provinces are severely underrepresented. The "add a brewery" function is nice until you realize that you paid 5$ for the app. Had the app been free, it would have gotten a 5 stars. If I'm paying 5$ for it in the Canadian App Store, I shouldn't have to do your homework... Hopefully this is addressed quickly!.Version: 1.7.6

✓ Distance search broken! - UpdateIn previous versions you could search by distance easily and effectively. In this version you set the search distance in the "Settings" app however making any changes there does not affect the results inside the BreweryMap app, it appears searches are hard limited to 15 miles now. Very unfortunate, two stars down from five. Update: they have now removed the distance search feature from the app and from the settings. This has really limited the usefulness of this app. A 50 mile search was about right, 15 miles is a joke..Version: 3.0.1

✓ Needs to be updatedGot tricked into paying for the app, don’t make the same mistake, check the recent reviews first! Locations are significantly outdated. When using the map function, a brewery showed on the Apple Maps overlay they were using; however, there was not a pin available to click on..Version: 3.1.0

✓ It's a good startIf you type in a search it does provide good results but you have to type in your current location if you want results. There should be a default to be able to select current location like map apps. Currently while in MA if I search current location I get breweries in MO. I think it would be nice to be to tag/rate brews that you've sampled..Version: 1.7.4

✓ Straight ForwardPretty straight forward app. Nice to map out breweries for a road trip. The export/email function doesn’t seem to work correctly but otherwise it’s very easy to use. A bit buggy.Version: 3.1.0

✓ Not every place shows upMy favorite local brewery and my favorite vacation spot cidery do not show up. Attempted to add and nothing is added. The brewery is on Untappd, google maps, etc. and had been around longer than other listed breweries. Apparently not great for finding the small hidden gems!.Version: 3.1.0
