✓ Too Many AdsUnless you buy the pro version, the ads are too intrusive. At the end of a game while waiting for the next one to start, some ads are 30 seconds long. By the time the ad stops, the results have posted and the next round has started. I had purchased the pro version but, I uninstalled the app. When I installed again I was unable to recover pro. ✓ Ads, slowdowns, and missing functionsI've been playing this game a long time, and I have a Pro account, but I'm done now. My biggest gripe is that the game now auto-clicks ads for you, interrupting your timed game with a full page advertisement that you have to manually dismiss. Unforgiveable. My smaller gripe is the constantly-shifting word list. They make unpublished changes all the time, forcing you to guess what is and isn't a word in the current version. Their latest change is to remove about 80% of the plurals. You win if you can remember which plurals are still words and which aren't. No fun for me..Version: 3.2.2

✓ Horrible!Used to be a fun app. Now, even after purchasing Pro, there's still an ad banner across the top during game play and a 3-18 second video ad during game results. Considering this is a timed game, with 20 seconds between games if your connection is decent, this is not useable any more. Did my purchase mean nothing? Are the makers so desperate for revenue that they don't care to make this playable? When I got on here to write this review, I see the makers now offer a Wordz 2. Maybe that's why this game is now inundated with ads - to pay for the development of their next app? Don't waste your money on this one. Update: After the latest bug fix, this app has gotten worse, if possible. It used to be that I was spared the low banner ad if I played a solo game, but now, and especially with my smaller screen, the add is displayed across the letters. Now I have to guess if the letter is a D or a P. What a joke and frustrating experience. After using this app for almost 10 years, I deleted it from my device. I would not recommend anything from this developer. Really, how could they think that after buying the full version that I would enjoy clicking through ads on a timed game? ✓ PromisingThis game has a lot of potential. I have and do play many different boggle-type games and this one really needs a few improvements. 1. Eliminate the top banner ad during game play so as to make the 4x4 board larger and make game play smoother. Every time an ad changes, the game stutters. (See Scramble, Ruzzle....) 2. Put a sound on the tiles to provide feedback during word entry. Many times I think I have entered a word only to see it didn't register, very frustrating. (In other word games I average well over 40 words per minute, this one I'm lucky to get 25 due to entry errors) 3. Maybe a help file to explain everything, i.e. there are 3 different modes and each mode has a different color. When you finish a round, you can see the first 100 people's scores of all modes. If you are in 3rd place but the first green(rational mode), did you get 1st place for that mode? That said, I really like this game. It seems to be the only word game with group online play which makes it competitively fun. It keeps stats. It has a cool little clock in the lower left corner! It has the whole word list after a game. And it uses a cool algorithm to ensure that every grid has at least one 8-10 letter word in each grid!.Version: 3.1

✓ Unhappy with updateThis used to be a very relaxing game to play. Now, like everyone else here, with the update I lost my profile and became "guest" at Level 1. But that isn't the worst part. I was able to restore my "Pro"status, which I paid for so that I would have to extra 10 seconds, but it meant nothing. Now, you can have the 10 seconds if you agree to watch the ads in between the round and the list of makeable words. Although I PAID for this privilege I still am forced to watch the ads. Additionally, it is harder to see the board. They tweaked the colors just enough to make it hard to discern if you already made a word.i I'm going to abandon this game and find another similar game that is les annoying. I wrote this at the beginning of December, 2015. Since then, by communications through the game, my profile was restored, with my level. Also, the administrator confirmed I had " Pro" and reassured me that I shouldn't be getting the full page ads and that this would be fixed with an update. Really lovely customer service. ✓ Could be SO much more!This game is extremely fun and addicting. It is one of the best games I have played. Unfortunately, it is extremely buggy, as well. I cannot play more than a few games without the game “bogging down.” Words will not enter properly, and the game just “freezes.” Sometimes this happens at the beginning of the game and you cannot do anything at all for 20-30 seconds. There are other times when everything works perfectly well. It never lasts for more than a few games, however. This is EXTREMELY frustrating because your score depends on your ability to enter words quickly. I have been so frustrated by these issues that I have sought out other games. It is much less fun when you feel handicapped by the bugs in the program. If not for the problems that seem to be inherent in the game, it would easily be a 5 star rating. ✓ Great, but not don't bother paying for itThis game is absolutely excellent: the graphics are solid and attractive, the music and sound effects are appropriate and well chosen, and it is easily the best word game available for iOS. My only complaint with this game is that the ads, which appear at the top of the screen, can be quite annoying and distracting when you are rushing to search for words; the last thing that you need at that time is to have your eye drawn away from the game board. Unfortunately, I thought that paying to upgrade the game from the free version to the full version would remove the ads, but that is not the case. Indeed, the only discernible benefit to paying is to unlock the endless mode. The game author should certainly consider changing this feature, as this is typically how things work in the iOS world. I very much regret paying for this game now, as there is little benefit to doing so and the author's "double dipping", i.e. continuing to make ad based revenue off those who pay seems dishonest to me. ✓ Greed ruined this gameThis used to be my favorite game until I got a new iPad and had to reload the game. In spite of paying the fee (a new fee is required for every new device and re-load) I am forced to wait for a full page ad to run between each game. Some of the ads are 30 seconds long which completely interferes with the game. I am disgusted that the company made a decision to maximize profits at the expense of the users. ✓ Stick to the free version!!!!!I paid for the full app, which is a decision I regret doing . It's NOT worth it , you get stupid adverts popping up like "you have a new boyfriend" and the ads are flashy so it distracts you from the game. ✓ The developer seems to be creating fake playersThrough all the glitches this game has had, my wife and I have enjoyed playing together. It’s been fun, friendly competition. Today, my wife was playing. I was not. She asked if I was playing. I was showing up in the results for the games she was playing — several games in a row. I joined from my iPad. The game correctly reported my results, on both of our iPads, without showing a second me in the results. I stopped playing and shut the game down. My name kept showing up in the results for my wife’s games, with varying scores and rankings. How many people we seem to be playing against are real? How many are computer generated fakes? ✓ Needs workThis game is good because I'm playing actual people which makes it fun but it needs some work please. 1. Option to tap letters instead of drag, half of the time my finger catches letters that I'm not trying to hit. And I have small fingers. 2. Make a paid version that's add free and take that obnoxious 'pro upgrade' square off the screen so there's more room for the letters. 3. A three minute game or al least the option. One and a half minutes is to short. 4. A bigger board with more letters. 5. Remove the box with the words I've entered already. Why is that necessary?
