✓ Better Than Apple Car Play on 2019 HighlanderI’m enjoying the Entune App Suite on my new 2019 Toyota Highlander. I appreciate the ease of location search/save on my Entune iPhone app which reliably syncs to my vehicle. Entune connection is via Bluetooth and does not require the constant lighting cable connection required by Apple CarPlay, which I have on my 2019 RAV4. Entune includes Yelp, iHeartRadio, Weather, Sports so everything I need in my car is there. The navigation system is great, with audio prompts for turn by turn directions like being on a commercial airline, giving a luxury feel to the system..USAFVet1Version: 1.28.80

✓ Toyota is Awesome. Entune is not.First, don’t give up on Toyota simply because of Entune! There’s so much more to the cars! That said, the connectivity is not bad for software a few years old on a car that’s a few years old. The one issue I have is every time it connects to my phone and I “Allow” it insists on opening the app interrupting whatever I’m working on at the time. Otherwise I mainly use my phone through the speaker, and that connects very well. As long as that works, I have everything I need. I’m seriously enjoying my 2016 Highlander!.Busy non-momVersion: 1.27.770

✓ Cool but Not always reliableI enjoy entwine for watching the stock market but most of all for Pandora. I like the ability to pick and customize my own stations. Sometimes I have trouble getting it to connect but it seems to be influenced by where my phone is in relation to other electrical fields in the car. On the shelf under the radio and navigation does not seem to work very well. The passenger seat may be the best spot for the phone. Some of the trouble may be at the entire end. I do enjoy it as it supplements the other sound options..AbsoWoosterVersion: 1.21.58

✓ The newer version messed it upIt was working fine until they send an update and messed it up. After the update I’m having intermittent Bluetooth connection, call drops, Bluetooth getting disconnected. Not sure if they tested it before getting it out for public use. This is ruining Toyota’s reputation. Update: I posted my issues to Toyota on Twitter and they responded and asked me to call a number which I did and they help me to resolve the issue. Now it is working fine. The catch here is when they push a new software update make sure you complete the update at and no drive when it is installing the update.
