Not badHi take TRX training in a class on regular basis. Thought I’d try the app to do on my own when I travel. It Could be a lot better if they announced what exercise you doing at the start of each interval. Otherwise I have to look at the phone to know exactly which one I’m going to be doing. And the title doesn’t stay on the screen for very long either so it just slides off to the right within about five seconds - the timing for the title of the exercise stay should be configurable. Coaching seems pretty good motivator. Countdown timing is a great addition..Version: 2.5.4

Bethel MooseGreat app- it provides excellent examples for proper form, offers different work out methods, such as rep & set based, HIIT & circuit with variable rest periods and an option to pause the workout if you get totally gassed and need a little extra rest. If you are looking for a good workout in your home or on the go it is definitely worth it. New “moves” are occasionally added with auto updates for the app. My only criticism is it lacks exercises for the rip trainer..Version: 2.4

Worth it, but I miss more statisticsEver since they added more exercises I started to use the app for every trx training. I find the database big enough for my workouts. However, I am still missing something - better statistics. I would like to see a history of my workouts, the time spent and eventually some more details. Great but few thing could be betterI like the way videos are shown at two angles, so you can copy the form. The 'done' button once you have completed a set is annoyingly small so I always pause the workout instead of going to the next excercise..Version: 2.2

Great alternative to a monthly subscription for TRXI own TRX straps and love to use them. But I didn’t see the value in paying a monthly subscription to their app to get workout routines. This app is nice in that you can build your own routine. But they haven’t added any new exercises since I paid for it so that’s a bummer. Great app, but could do with a few tweeksOverall, the app is very good indeed with a great selection of exercises which vary in difficulty. I like having programme to follow without having to think what to do next. There are a few already done, with the option to create your own which I like. The only thing I think could be improved is the videos. They are great quality and show each movement from 2 angles, but there is no explanation of how to get into the moves or details of the strap length. Granted, most are obvious but there are a few of complex ones which I would not even know where to begin without injuring myself. Great app for beginnersGreat app really easy to follow and to create your own workouts. These workouts are intense but short and fun, I’m usually sweating buckets by the end and my consistent back pain has gone (probably from being on a computer all day) the exercises also balance your body and can help fix posture issues. The videos also help you to learn correct form and helps you to fix it while watching the excercises on a loop during the workout. Would be great if you could send workouts to your friends so you can do the workout together on video chat..Version: 2.5.8

Excellent add on to what is sold or provided by TRXWhen you purchase a TRX trainer, they give you a booklet and a video. Unfortunately you have to purchase the rest. This APP at a reasonable cost, will save you money on all of the extra posters or videos you can buy for the TRX. It also provides some routines and workouts. PROS: Every exercise on the app has a video. You can also use a "by muscle approach" CON: Some workouts could provide a short narrative with regards to the goals, recommended schedule, reps vs. "as many within X seconds", etc... SUGGESTION: A "link" to get more workouts either by the creator of the APP or by users. I recommend this purchase, to help you get more out your TRX trainer..Version: 2.3.1

Great app but no verbal cues!As soon as I got the app, I wanted to see what the app had to offer and played the demo. First, I was confused and tried to turn up the volume and then realized that there are no verbal instrctions just a silent demo. When working out, I dont' have time to constantly watch the video, I am sure that might cause some injuries in the process trying to turn my neck a certain direction and causing poor alignment. Also, I don't want to pause during my workouts, I want them to be very intense. Hell, I can't even see anything in front of me with sweat pouring down my face. It would be nice to have verbal cues on the upcoming move as well as proper form verbal instructions during the workout timer. For this reason, I took off a star. Also, it would be nice if the app had a wod generator like the 12 minute athlete app, for those of us who have no idea what we are doing and need to be told what exercises to complete. Thankfully, TRX posts "the workout of the day". I am so glad that they do because I don't have the imagination to create my own workouts but I want to workout like a beast. I check the WOD daily and then create the workout within the app. So, please work on 2 things : Verbal cues and wod generator. All in all, great app but lacks some essentials..Version: 2.4

Good app.I have only just downloaded this app and have only had a quick look at it, but what I’ve seen is very impressive. Each exercise is well displayed and presented by the trainer. There are lots of exercises to choose from; you are able to pick your activities to make your own workout for your capability. I set up my workout depending on my time and level of enthusiasm and then just go for it. The only thing I'd like to have suggested on each exercise is the strap length..Version: 2.4

Easy to customise.As a beginner the app is easy to customise and it's great there are suggested exercises grouped together dependant on ability/experience. You can alter the time for each exercise or number of reps, the rest interval in between as well as the number of circuits. My only suggestions would be a video or two to show the complete novice (me!) how to set up the straps for each exercise and an indication next to each exercise title as to which setting the straps need to be in... max length, shortest, mid etc. All of these are 'obvious' once you're an expert but not so when you're brand new..Version: 2.4

Time versus reps...I really like this app and the fact that you can create your own workout from the wonderful library of demonstrated exercises. My wish list includes a way to mix both timed intervals and repetition intervals within the same workout. For example, hold a plank for 60 sec., rest 30 sec., 12 Automic Push-ups, rest 30 sec. etc.. Another item I wish for is a way to export or download a workout do that I don't have to rely on Internet access to view the videos. Thanks for writing such a great app!.Version: 2.4

Super app, just needs a tweak or two.I have worked out with TRX with a personal trainer for some time, so I bought my own straps and this app to use while on holidays. I'm glad I did, it's great. It is easy to customize your own workout by choosing from the many exercises and deciding how long each exercise and each rest period will last. The moves are clearly demonstrated in video before and during each set. You can format your workout by circle, traditional, Tabata or HIIT training. There should be an explanation of what these terms mean for people who don't know. There should also be a brief "intro to TRX" section with tips on how to use it. Also, many of the exercises are done on only one side of the body at a time. For example, pistol squats or side planks. The app should know that when you choose to do one set of these moves, they actually need to be done twice, once on each side. As it is now, if you select one set, you will only exercise one leg. Today I wanted to do three sets of each move and I had to work through the rest periods in order to be symmetrical. Which I guess I'll keep doing until they fix it, because I'll keep using this app for the awesome, portable, customizable workout!.Version: 2.4

Close but no cigar.This app is good. But could be better. I like that I can build my own workouts and adjust how long each exercise and rest period is. The count in and count downs are helpful too. But, I find I need to be told more when working out. If only it told me what the next exercise is so I didn’t need to look at my device it would be so much better. Good for beginners, but needs a favourites listThe videos are a really good help, especially for a beginner like me. What would be great, however, is if I could sort the exercises into a list that suits my current workout (favourites, for example). This would be a big help for during a workout. Other that that, It is what it is - videos of exercise. And Maybe a little on the pricey side. Good all the same..Version: 1.0.2

CoolJust bought some straps to fight the lard on my travels, first workout, 20 minutes, am pleased with it and glad I got the app. Strap length is a guess though ?..Version: 2.4

Great visual aid for TRXI just started using the TRX and could not have progressed without this app. The visuals are fantastic & really help you develop your technique. I would love the next version to offer 2 different camera views for all the exercises to help in positioning your body correctly especially for doing a good squat. I should mention that some of the exercises already offer this..Version: 2.2.1

Great little App...With some adjustments could be perfect. Would be useful to have a full body warm up and cool down session which you can bolt on to the beginning and end of workouts, also would be good in the rest period to give some verbal clues re next exercise I.e. Don't let bottom pop up, or keep shoulders down etc. would be great if you had the option to add music too. Even now though some great exercises and love the fact you can determine length of exercise and rest, reps etc..Version: 2.4

Very nice!Good audio cues, flexible time/reps/sets and challenging excersizes ! Maybe a little more communication about syncing workouts with other apps? The leap- no- look doesn't work for me but over all it's a great app. Ditto for Virtual Trainer also..Version: 2.4
