✓ Almost greatThis app is great but the only feature it is missing is search feature. You can browse the map but can’t search by name on the map. Also when you open the map it does not zoom to your location automatically. You need to pinch from whole US to your location which is cumbersome..Version: 2.6.9
✓ Inaccurate altitudeSelected a point on my property which has been surveyed by a registered land surveyor at 53m above sea level, app shows 18m altitude, 35m difference, not good. Have also tried a few more known places and they to are off by large numbers..Version: 2.6.8
✓ IPad need better device measurementThis app is constantly varying at 200 feet from the same location. In the mountains of NC this is s significant issue. The iPhone version appears to be more consistently in measurement. Both Apple devices are on iOS 14.2 version for each device. This issue has been constant since iOS 12..Version: 2.6.9
✓ Needs improvementUnfortunately My Altimeter fails to show ALTITUDE if “Location” is turned OFF in the paired iPhone, something one would commonly do to limit battery drain. I had expected My Altimeter to automatically switch from altituude imputed from GOS to the Watch’s built-in miniature barometer but apparently it does not. Then getting everything reset requires an off-on Watch reboot. Exasperating! Hopefully a revision will improve this serious flaw..Version: 2.6.3

✓ Looks good until u refreshUses gps to establish coordinates and then provides the corresponding elevation - or so it seems until u hit refresh and though the coordinates remain the same, the elevation changes (every time). Due to the high replacement cost I decided to do a download and try it out on a recent very challenging excursion. ✓ Barometric Pressure Not Adjusted For Height Above Sea LevelFor anyone that is trying to use this application for accurate weather forecasting via use of barometer, the application is not calibrating based on height above sea level. This is critical for anyone taking part in outdoor activity where you want to check the current barometric pressure against a weather GRIB forecast predicted barometric pressure. By comparing the current pressure against forecast pressure you can validate if the weather is coming in faster, slower, or as expected ... super important if you're taking part in an activity where you’re at risk due to heavy weather The mean height above sea level feature does work well, and I validated height accuracy with other applications and station data, so I’ll keep the application for this data set to calibrate my barometer in another app. But the barometric pressure in this app is off by over 10mb for my location which makes the barometer in this application useless for practical purposes. I can confirm the reading given is sea level barometric pressure. Highly recommend the Starparh Marine Barometer for accurate barometric pressure readings to those whose wellbeing is correlated to what the weather is doing. Just plug in the height above sea level value and the application will calibrate barometric pressure for you..Version: 2.6.9
✓ TechComm “F”The first rule of technical communications is to never assume anything about your audience/reader. I downloaded the app the find out the sea level for my location. I opened the app and there is a number across the top with a dozen other numbers below. Am I supposed to somehow magically know that the number on top is the relative sea level? There is no indication what this number represents! Also, I switched from metric to imperial and the temperature remained in Celsius..Version: 2.7.0

✓ Works well but......needs to rotate on the iPad. Our iPads are in a case with a keyboard. Turning the head 90 degrees to view the app makes the neck ache :-) Otherwise , useful utility and does what it does well. Fix the rotation and we'll up it to 5 stars.Version: 1.2
✓ Very rough numbers onlyWas going to use this to get some ideas for tiling some of my acreage. That requires some degree of accuracy. While sitting still it varies by 10 feet or more. Going up one flight of stairs registered between 20 to 40 feet of increased elevation. (No, my house isn't that big). On one trip down the stairs it registered the elevation as increasing! ✓ Display makes no senseWhy on earth are altitude and pressure displayed with 2 decimal places accuracy??? As a general rule, they should be displayed only as far as they're actually precise. Eg if the uncertainty is +/- 1m then don't blindly show 66.00m, just 66m is all you can say. It gets even worse in feet with 9015.37 ft +/- 14.53 ft... Quit it with the 2dp, it's just clutter. 9015ft +/- 14ft is just as accurate and useful, and less cluttered/misleading. Pressures are even worse!! I'm pretty sure any more than 3 significant figures is impossible with the sensors available. And why show Pa, hPa and kPa? It's just clutter, stick to kPa and simplify the display (and again, seriously, you're telling me the pressure to the nearest 0.01 Pascals? I don't think so...) Latitude and longitude are the only ones that should be so precise... In fact I'm not sure you've even gone precise enough! But weirdly you've put the error in ft/m for the location in degrees... What a mess!.Version: 2.4.3
✓ Fails the most important testMain shows a lot of useful info but is somewhat cluttered. Free version ads are unobtrusive. Deal breaker is inaccuracy on initial installation. Reading 650m at location of known 780m altitude. Not good enough for intended purpose..Version: 2.6.8
✓ Something is wrong with planet Earth..This app has told me that I have just gone from +8 meters above sea level to -3 meters below in the space of minutes while I'm sitting next to the ocean. It's a great idea but obviously poorly executed... unless the Earth really is sinking 🤔.Version: 2.4.6
