DOSENT EVEN HAVE MY HOME!It doesn't even have my area, Perth, which is a city with millions of people! Thousands of people could’ve had this app and yet you deny them even to use it? Horrible and uninformed! I bet so many of you who read this will not have their area in this app. I couldn’t even write this in app because ‘my email isn’t valid’ or something. They wouldn’t even care anyways! Bad app, couldn’t even use it..Version: 10.58.5

Hiding basic old features behind paywallI think the decision to hide existing old features such as bus only option behind a paywall was of extremely poor taste and also a desperate to move for a quick cash grab. I understand that you want to make money but hiding a basic feature that’s been in the core app for ages and expecting people to subscribe to be able to use its just downright disrespectful to your costumers. I used to be subscribe but as I became a cyclist who mostly uses busses when needed, this feature was a must for me as some routes sometimes won’t be shown on your classic options so by going to bus only is the only way I would get certain route or if I needed to play around with routes from a different location, it would’ve been one thing I’d you ask people to buy a “pro” or “full” version of your app a one-off payment and be done with it, but I for one will not be subscribing for the simple reason that I will not be strong armed into paying for a feature that was always there and you suddenly decide to take it away and put it behind a paywall, I would have subscribed for better/new features not for something that was such a core part of the app and now you want to make a quick buck and force people to subscribe, as much as I will miss the feature this was not the way to try and get me to subscribe if anything you’ve pushed me more away from the idea. Just absolute greediness. If you want to make money stop buying overpriced coffee..Version: 10.56.3

Better off with Google MapsWorked fine when travelling around the Melbourne CBD but as you went out toward the suburbs the app began to tell you to get on the wrong tram to get back into the city and sent me in the complete opposite direction, and when I tried to fix it it sent me further into the suburbs, making me totally lost in the middle of some suburb. Google Maps got me back in the end..Version: 7.21

GPS is offWish the GPS was more accurate. Been missing the bus. It’s arriving earlier than the GPS states..Version: 10.57.9

Not reliableAs a long time user and seed fund investor, I’m sad to see the app losing some of its features and become unreliable. For starters bus timetables are all over the place (At least in London). Check the next bust times: 15min, refresh the route: 7mins (Same bus stop, same bus number, 30 seconds between the two searches). Sometimes it tells you the bus is due but it never arrives. The other day I stood for half an hour until a bus showed up (3 buses past by, according to the app). This does not seem to happen with eg. Google Maps. They have also removed useful features like the ability to tap on a station to see next departures, which I found really useful in big cities where there are multiple ways of getting around..Version: 10.58.7

Heartless paywall for those needing most helpCheapest journey, least walking and voice-assistant are now behind a paywall. Trying to squeeze money from people on a budget, with mobility issues or visually impaired is a poor decision from what used to be a great app. Many will have to find an alternative now. Their response has been fairly callous too. They don't seem to understand putting cheapest journeys behind a paywall is cruel. It's the people who can't afford to pay £2.99 a month who desperately need this kind of help. There's a cost of living crisis. The poorest people need support, not more expenses. By all means put removal of ads and other features behind a paywall if needed, but please find the humanity to not put pressure on people who are struggling making ends meet, or have mobility issues that mean less walking is key, or those who rely on voice-assistance to navigate. It's shocking behaviour from an app many of us genuinely championed. Have a heart, Citymapper..Version: 10.56.3

Bring back bus and train tabsAs a long time fan of Citymapper, I was disappointed to see that you have removed the bus only and train only tabs from the free version. These were incredibly useful to provide detailed options when travelling. I understand that it’s been done to increase conversion to paid version but it removes what made Citymapper so fantastic. Without the option to see multiple bus and train routes in dedicated tabs, I may as well use Google Maps which also provides one or two bus routes. Whilst anecdotal evidence, this pain even came up organically at a party yesterday! I know it’s been done to increase conversion but please consider rolling back this feature, else Citymapper loses what made it so great. I don’t usually leave app reviews but I’m a product manager and I’ve learned it’s one of the only ways things might change..Version: 10.56.3

Shame about live activitiesLocking a core new feature of ios16 behind a paywall is pretty crappy. Was excited to try it out and was looking forward to using it… Uninstalled..Version: 10.57.5

It used to be great…I think I’m done with this app tbh. I went to Berlin a few weeks ago and my mates told me this app is not good in Berlin (I’m from London). I thought it was weird but actually they were right, I found it to be really unreliable and it would not display correct timings and occasionally send me the really long way around, like asking me to walk around a park instead of throughout. This park has recognised footpath as when you walk through it it changes the path… Anyway, I got back thinking it was a quirk of being in Berlin as it had rarely messed my journey in London. But since then I’ve noticed it quite a few times send me the long way around ir not display trains which I’ve missed because Citymapper said they’d already left, with me leisurely strolling to a station to realise I just missed my train or my bus that I could have caught had I known it was mere minutes away. I really lost a lot of respect for Citymapper after the rubbish they’ve pulled with the subscription model. But I get it, they want to make money and this is clearly a viable method for any business. Otherwise not every company, and their mothers would be adopting this horrid business plan, but that’s the world we live in. However it being glitchy/unreliable as well as limiting my travel options is really crap. It’s sad because it’s my favourite of the apps to use, I think google maps has slightly unappealing UI but guess I’ll have to get use to it because I’m done with this..Version: 10.57.1

Great but not always greatA very handy too for navigating the city with fast results, but it doesn’t always give you all the options - I have several routes I could take from my home stop to work but it seems to only give me one ‘first train’ choice and then various connections combinations after that rather than multiple initial train options. I have to manually change destinations to find (often quicker) routes. It also doesn’t have a “via” option, which would somewhat alleviate this problem. To make it worse it includes cancelled trains in the list, which is fine if it also shows other options but often doesn’t, just the same cancelled train multiple times, on one route only! (I have a screen shot if CM want to contact me!).Version: 10.52.2

App doesn’t fit the 12.9” new iPadApp doesn’t fit the 12.9” new iPad , it launched in the middle of the screen like have an iPhone in the middle. Please kindly fit it..Version: 7.18

You now have to pay for basic functionsI’ve been using city mapper for months to help me navigate London, I’m happy to see adds and all that sort of thing to help find the app. Last night I attempted to find a route home after a late shift at work only to find that you now have to pay to see bus routes. I’m the face of the cost of living crisis, making the cheapest transport routes ‘pay to see’ is incredibly disgusting. It seems that only the most expensive travel routes are available to see without paying monthly or yearly. For someone on low income, students and people with disabilities like myself, this makes navigating and planning journeys almost unachievable. Charge for extra features sure, but charging for basic bus routes is ridiculous..Version: 10.56.2

Complete waste of four pounds!I have used this app for years for public transport and walking routes in London and abroad, and recommend it to everyone. I recently started cycling in London and had been using google maps voice instructions for longer journeys. I found the routes were too busy and on main roads, whereas the citymapper routes were quieter and more suitable for cyclists, so I decided to pay for club to get step by step voice instructions. This was the first app I’ve ever paid for, and I was extremely disappointed. The voice instructions were delayed, so that it would tell me to turn into a road after I’d cycled past it. I cycle at a slow to average speed, but I’d have to have been cycling at a snails pace to hear the instructions in time. It kept telling me to do U turns because of the delayed instruction, and a journey that should have taken an hour took two. I had to stop using it half way through because it was doing to opposite of what it was meant to - getting me lost rather than showing me the way. Some may think this is an overreaction, however I am such a fan of all elements of the free version that I trusted that the paid version would be even better. But unfortunately my trust has been broken and I will be removing my subscription and will only consider redownloading it if this element is improved tenfold..Version: 10.16

Good but not greatGood for suggestion modes of travel, including buses, trains, taxis, but street mapping vastly inferior to Google Maps. In particular, street names are often lacking and the direction of travel symbol is very confusing. A simple arrow would be much better!.Version: 10.57.1

Good for travel to new citiesI use this when I go to a new city and not sure what their local transport app is. However I’ve had to remove a few stars because whoever writes the app updates text doesn’t seem to realise the Southern Hemisphere exists and has opposite seasons! Also the fare costs are sometimes not quite right for the airport trains..Version: 10.57.4

No longer what it was unless you pay.Citymapper used to be a great app for travelling around most places in the world however since the new update most features are now paid. Having to pay for more features is actually acceptable as the app is very useful however they’ve changed the app in a way that makes it rubbish unless you have paid. For example, if you want to leave at 0800am it might show you a route that takes 1hr20mims but if you then change the time to 08:05 it will show you a route that is only 40 minutes long. Why would you want to leave earlier for a longer journey? It also no longer shows you how long trains are running for when you select down the list. You used to be able to see trains running up until the last one of the day but now you can only see trains running for around an hour after you set your leaving time. I still use the app but I am considering not using it anymore as there have been a few times (since the update) where it has actually made my travel slip more difficult..Version: 10.57.12

Doesn’t work offlineDoesn’t work offline. It will be much better if at least “Nearby” work offline..Version: 10.58.5

Confusing appVery confusing, with too many things to flip through to even begin understanding what is what..Version: 11.4.1

Generally good with some missed opportunitiesThe main thing missing for me is Line Status Alerts. Switched on they claim you will be notified when a line has disruptions but having had it switched on for months I’ve not received a single notification. The frustration of turning up to a station and finding the line at a standstill is really frustrating. Sometimes the app has a habit of sending me on weird routes. Why does it think it’s quicker/easier to get off the Northern Line at Moorgate and walk to Liverpool St for the Elizabeth Line, rather than just change at Tottenham Court Road? Other than that the interface is very user-friendly, and the Best Carriage feature is really helpful..Version: 10.54.2

Love the app but recent decisions by developers have spoilt it.I first downloaded the app many years ago. The app is phenomenal and is miles ahead of any other app in the market to the extent that it has no rivals. The user interface is easy to use and is great for those for whom technology is not their strong suit. Historically I would have granted the developers of Citymapper 5 stars. Unfortunately, recent decision-making has resulted in me having to take them down to just three stars. The developers of Citymapper have for some inexplicable reason, decided to go down the unnecessary and shallow route of the subscription model; I get it because it is an app that is by far the best of any city-based travel app, however. The trouble, however, is that it smacks of greed and does not make logical sense for them whatsoever. It is a fantastic app however, this is not the way to go about it. I hope the developers will read this review attentively and take what I am saying on board. I propose that the decision to become an app using the subscription model is reversed and move to a paid app. What this would mean for the prospective customer is they would pay £4 for the app, which would give them access to all the features; this model will have a better impact on the loyal customer base and any future purchaser; this is by far the better and more satisfying option..Version: 10.57.2

Only missing correct ‘live updates’This app is amazing and I love all the features. The only thing that stops me from giving 5/5 starts is the fact that it’s missing live updates. One example: I was waiting for the buss in bondi junction and it said that the best one (it of 5 busses) would arrive in 23 minutes. 2 minutes after that, 5 busses arrived. That feature is the only think that make me keep ‘tripview’ as an alternative app even though yours is waayyyy better..Version: 7.7

Misleading information!!!!I’m a young woman who does babysitting as a side job and often return home quite late on my own. This app used to be reliable but I don’t know what has happened recently that I can’t trust any of the information it gives me anymore. Incorrect bus times, buses that don’t exist, making me wait on my own for a bus they say will arrive and never does. Tonight, leaving a job, it gave me a route across a park with no illumination and at the end of it the bus stop it told me to wait at had no sign of the bus I needed. The app kept telling me the bus would arrive but nowhere on the bus stop signs or led panels it said that bus would even pass there. I waited and to no surprise the bus never came. I had to walk a long way to get another bus and then had to walk more to get home as that wasn’t the bus I needed. Honestly. If you’re a woman on your own at night don’t trust this app. This is not the first time this app has mislead me into a bus stop that is not working or is not the one I need or into thinking a bus is coming at 2 am and the bus never comes..Version: 10.50

Needs more accuracy on bus and rail timing1.Less accurate timing 2.When searching destination timings are listed randomly it should go from least to highest time taking routes 3.app shows a lot of bus for a route in reality there is very less 4. If i were your investor you are fired already.Version: 8.9

Still great but was betterIt seems they keep adding things which is not always great for usability. One annoyance I have is with the trains, it seems to decide you cannot catch a train and hide it from the list. You could show earlier trains but it doesn’t let you select that one train. And once you’re on a train and it decided for you which train you cannot correct it which messes with ETA etc… On iPhone 14 Pro the map now keeps jiggling and moving weirdly. Don’t think it’s the GPS but may be the screen refresh rate? Not sure but you should check it out and fix :) UPDATE: It only jiggles when the option to rotate map based on direction is on. So it seems like a map rendering problem..Version: 10.56.3

Generally good, could be more accurateI like Google map routes because they are more accurate on how long journeys take and don’t decide for you like you’re some kind of visitor in your own city. I don't like that Citymapper decides for you whether you’ll make the connecting journey. In some cases it will show you in a greyed out manner but other times it doesn’t at all. I’d like the option of always seeing this so i can make an informed decision whether I want to run to the station or not. Would be good to have two settngs in the app, slow routes for people who are perhaps new to the city and fast routes for those who know the city well and can navigate quickly..Version: 10.50

Not working in apple watchI contact the company but refuses to answer my question. No good.Version: 8.0.2

Good but could be more effective.Love this app but wish it would show all real time departures rather than what it thinks I can make in time. Multiple times I’ve checked and seen a big wait, only to find out I could have made an earlier tram if the app allowed me to see it..Version: 10.57.12

Just keeps getting worse with every updateI’ve had city mapper for over 4 years now and when I first got it, it was a superior navigation app! Timings were accurate, Routes were the best! I don’t know what’s been happening but gradually most features have been made premium. The app keeps glitching or doesn’t pick up addresses as fast as it used to. The suggested routes aren’t even the fastest routes. And unfortunately I’ve slowly had to start going back to using google maps. It’s sad because, I got so many people to get the app and was probably city mappers number one fan 😂 and not gonna lie… feeling a little betrayed here..Version: 10.57.12

Not as efficient as Google MapsAt first I was excited to use this app. Visiting NYC for the first time was a great opportunity to try this out. I thought it would be great to navigate the subway system and occasionally the bus. It had useful features such as which cars to board for the subway and which station exits to use. Unfortunately, none of these features save you any time or walking. It displays too many route options, and they’re only sorted by how much time they take. The best routes with the least walking aren’t even shown. And if you follow the recommendations for which section to board or which station exit to use, you’ll end up walking even more. If I plug the same destination into Google Maps, it recommends the best route or quickest route, and it uses connections to save steps walking. The only time it came out ahead of google was find a route to JFK. Otherwise, not worth the download..Version: 8.5

Incredible app, with one major issueThis app walks on google and apple maps, almost flawless- however there is one major problem: when switching trains, the app does not indicate what platform to go to at larger stations or stations not in the same building, this is incredibly confusing.Version: 11.4

HorribleMost of the features are behind a paywall. App only works in a handful of big cities. If you live outside of these, this app is useless. I tried a route in Sydney, I’m getting headaches when I see what this app is giving me. Horrible. I’m using  Maps, which is free! And which also works in my tiny little town, I even get the train schedule. So if you like headaches and want to pay for features which you can actually get for free with  Maps, this is your app. Have fun. I’ve deleted it..Version: 10.56.3

Used to be good, what happened? It used to give accurate times and was very reliable. Then something happened over the last few weeks 4/5 out the trips that I took had misleading train and bus information. I would arrive at the bus stop to find out there is no longer a bus leaving at that time or arrive at a train station and find there is no mention of the train Citymapper showed me and helped me schedule my trip with - as if the train at that particular time never existed. When this happened this resulted in delays of up to 30 minutes or more. I don’t know what their tech and ops team are doing but this app is hardly accurate - if you want to save yourself time, energy and not get so frustrated then this is definitely not the app to do that with..Version: 8.8

Difficult to useWhere donI find my favourited routes? Why do you waste so much real estate on showing completely useless timetables. I miss Rocketman. No other app compares..Version: 10.57.9

Used to be amazingI've been using this app since 2015 when I first moved to London. It's been my ride or die since then, but recently there have been so many reliability issues with inaccurate bus times, tube times, failure to keep the app up to date about tube delays etc... This app had kept me on time for all my life events for the past 7 years, but recently it's been so unreliable that I'll end up waiting 10-15 minutes longer for a delayed service that the app failed to report. Yesterday while I was rushing to an appointment at a salon by Canary Wharf, the app tried to direct me... into the river. The salon was actually in the opposite direction of where the app was directing towards. Needless to say, there are improvements that need to be made as Citymapper has gradually regressed into a worsened state..Version: 10.55.4

Extremely poor decision to paywall ‘Bus Only’ journeys. This app use to be good, but has been declining for years and has finally tapped out at the bottom. I don’t bemoan a company from adding premium features behind a paywall. But any idiot in the marketing department should realise that paywall features should be for something premium or luxury, not for something completely basic. With the recent update, being able to view a ‘bus only’ journey is now considered so special that a users has to pay for it. However, this pays little no consideration to who it is that will need to use the ‘bus only’ journey. I live in London, my neighbour is a cleaner and will take a nearly 1hr45minute journey across 3 buses to get to her job in central London instead of taking the tube that is about an hour faster. She does this because she simply can’t afford the £5 more a day that the tube would cost, even though doing so would save her 2 hours a day. The people who rely on a Bus Only journey aren’t searching that option because they are looking for a luxury feature, they are doing it because they literally don’t have enough money to make a different choice. CityMapper forcing this feature behind a paywall, trying to get poor people to pay for the privilege of taking the longest, slowest, most inconvenient journey possible is disgusting. There are plenty of other options out there, and I hope more people delete this unethical app..Version: 10.56.2

Useless since introduction of the paywallI have been using Citymapper for years and the free version of the app is no longer functional. It provides incorrect information on live train times and claims buses and suggests routes which don’t work such as changes that aren’t achievable with any delay in the first form of transport without making this clear. It also no longer gives an option I can find of opting for a longer walk - if you live further from the tube it therefore will give you options with a lot of changes / a longer journey when you could just do the walk - this isn’t an advertised feature of the premium app. I now find the way of actual arriving somewhere without arriving at a station or change point and having to wait quarter of an hour is to choose and arrival time and work backwards in short what Google maps does and Google maps is better at alerting road closures that prevent pedestrians getting through.Version: 10.57.2

App can’t orientate correctlyWas told this app was great by someone who used it in London. However upon trying it in Melbourne, it couldn’t orientate correctly despite location services being turned on. First time, it sent me around in a much longer route than the most direct route. Second time, I just wanted to go for a walk to a supermarket and it couldn’t even handle that. The marker for where I was was jumping all over the map. Can’t be bothered trying to use it for anything else seeing as it couldn’t handle a short walk..Version: 9.8

Good but faulty when we needed most5 day Paris trip with my family. Day one was great no issues - we did 3 popular tourist sites with a midday return to the hotel by walking and Metro. 2nd day was a scramble. We left our hotel with 30 mins extra to get to Gare l’est to catch an early morning train to Meuse. App took us to the completely wrong spot by Metro. we were confused thinking maybe it was just a bit further. then Google told us it was 25 mins walk away…. And by that time we just flagged down a cab who took advantage of the situation severely overcharging (I’m guessing double or more based on our much longer ride to our hotel a few days ago). Thank goodness we made our train or we would have missed our a scheduled tour of Verdun and ruined the day. For common sites not an issue. We should have checked the address of the train station…. Not sure if we will use for the other days of our trip..Version: 10.54.1

Worst supportWithout any Miss usages they debited my account and when I noticed and inform them they refunded my money back saying that is technical fault. If i had not noticed anything then they would have taken away my money without any information. So guys be aware it is not safe to link you bank Account with city Mapper. They are not responsible and they even doesn’t realize their fault they just said that was technical mistake and refunded back without good apologies and compensation.. very Worst Experience, Very Worst. Again after this every week they charged me extra 3£,2£,1£ each week and for claming my money back i need to send at least 20’s email and only they returned. This made my routine frustrating and when i asked for claim they said you didnot tap in or out sonit is overcharged and for them to prrove wrong i need to download all the contactless payment and journey history everytime and send them again and again and even my bank statements. I suggest genuinely not to use this app as they are taking you money as extra charge .. and uf u dint check you will loose your money as they wont refund automatically. I asked to cancel my subscription and i will never use this app again such a worst experience..Version: 10.56.3

Some additional features please! This is often a very helpful app, updating arrival times when traffic increases/train delayed etc. I would love to be able to choose “go via” particular locations because some journeys are possible but don’t show up and I prefer quieter routes which don’t go via central London. Another addition I’d like is all the bus options when I leave a station to continue my journey. Eg right now I’m on a different bus than that suggested which goes from the stop 10 steps away and will get me to my destination sooner ( by 15 mins!). Finally, I sometimes start my journey by bike and leave it at the station. Is it possible to incorporate this option? Currently I have to estimate my cycle time and plan on the app from the station. Many thanks!.Version: 8.7.1

Useful info, buggyThe organization of the nearby subway/bus lines is easier/less frustrating to access than MyMTA, google maps, or apple maps. but... there's a lot of uncommanded UI refresh/reset when trying to look at nearby subways on launch. i often run 2-6 mins to a train rather than slogging through a longer walking time (also i'm always late) so i want to very quickly know after app launch when my nearest arrival options are. alternatively adding a "if you jogged at 9:30/mi (or pick your poison, i've done 7:30/mi in a suit) these options are open to you" or "if you use your citibike membership to bike 5 mins to this station instead you'll save 20 minutes and there are N docks free.".Version: 10.58.4

Customer care cares about ratings over customersUPDATE: For a second time, CityMapper have replied only to my negative review, offering to help if I email them. I emailed them accordingly, several weeks ago, and yet again they have failed to follow through, not even acknowledging the email I have sent. So I stand by my original assessment, and dock them an extra star: customer care only “cares” about their ratings, not about resolving customer issues. Let’s see if they reply to this review again - though I have all but lost hope that they will follow up over email with any actual support… — I contacted customer care about in-app data on my London bus route being consistently inaccurate vs data in the TFL Go app (had me waiting for multiple cancelled buses, which TFL Go knew were cancelled but CityMapper didn’t, etc). A month passed with no response, so I posted my question as a negative review instead. CityMapper responded to the negative review, asking me to use the “Report Issue” button in-app next time I was on the route and encountered a similar problem. So I did, and received an automated message that I’d get a response… that was a month ago, no response. So, here I am posting the issue as a negative review again, in the knowledge that, sadly, that’s what it takes to get the response CityMapper customer care commits to - but otherwise doesn’t deliver. Awaiting your answer….Version: 10.52.3

Paywall makes the app uselessUsed to love this app so much. But unless you upgrade and pay for premium, you only have access to a very limited amount of routes. There are so many more efficient routes you can take but there’s no way to add them to the app unless you pay. Many times the routes it suggests are the most expensive ones, and so even if I wanted to take another route I can’t put it into the app and calculate an ETA because of the paywall. Furthermore, it’s very slow in updating you on delays. It’ll tell you a bus is coming when it’s delayed by 10 minutes and you could’ve taken another route. Whereas Google maps already shows the delay and re routes you. Google maps is nowhere near as intuitive for public transport but works a million times better and is much more accurate. Very disappointing..Version: 10.57.5

Covid city mobility info VALE was 5star now noneWhy have you removed the website with City Mobility. Australia has 2 cities in lockdown plus curfew and your info was a KPI of whether lockdowns are effective. It was a fantastic source of the impacts of COVID lockdown and travel restrictions in cities around the World and NOW GONE. Not even the opportunity to take some screen shots before you removed the whole set of data.Version: 10.40.2

Walk route is incorrect results in missing trainThe route from my location 15 Henley Road Thirroul to Austinmer station to travel to Sydney does not take into account the need to use the road bridge to the South to cross between platforms. The route shown on the app takes you to the wrong side of the track, and would require at least another five minutes after discovering nearer to walk back up the road across the road bridge to the correct platform. This app does not have a method for reporting these areas it appears.Version: 10.29

Good but not greatI like the 3D map view but I’d like to have the option to turn off one or more transport types. For instance where I live the bus is usually fhe fastest option but the bus is always crammed and the seats have no leg room so 90% of the time I’d rather catch the ferry..Version: 10.53.1

Problematic in New YorkI have been using Citymapper as Club subscriber now for two months to commute from NJ to Manhattan and back. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do a great job and each time to manually adjust the change times to make my connection work. I have missed several times a connection from subway to NJ Transit in Penn Station and Secaucus because I didn’t pay attention in the first place. It assumes that a connection time of one minute in Secaucus from upper level to lower level is ok which is impossible to do even if the train from New York is on time (NJ commuters know what I am talking about). Also, it often fails to find the fastest way even for a subway trip within Manhattan. I will now be trying Transit as a hopefully better alternative..Version: 10.58.4

Lacks PracticalAs a woman, this app has navigated me to spaces where I felt unsafe or was unsafe. If you input arriving at a certain time this app may take you off public transit prematurely. I’m talking walking for twenty minutes and walking pass more bus stops prematurely. I get the idea behind this but safety is more important than time. If a bus goes closer to my destination it makes no sense to have me get off sooner. I was at a bus stop where a man placed an empty crack pipe next to me. Thankfully security for the restaurant behind me was on high alert but that may not the case. Furthermore, sometimes this app lags behind on viable routes. Construction happens but so do unexpected accidents. It’s important that this app communicates with outside channel to access valid bus/ train stops..Version: 10.35.1

Paid for the app - now get ads with the subscription serviceAs the title says. Paid for the app and now I have to pay a subscription if I don’t want to see ads. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Also inaccurate train data - told me 47 minutes for Parramatta to Central via T1 (Gordon) but this was incorrect. Apple and Google maps both have the correct 28 minutes.Version: 10.57.4

Please add Auckland City, NZI can see that this is a great app when travelling even Locally. I look forward to seeing Auckland added. It has been listed as the world’s 3rd most liveable city for 2018. 😊.Version: 7.8

Doesn’t work on Apple Watch 5I downloaded citymapper and set home and work as shortcuts on the iPhone app. Too bad that when I click on “home” or “work” on my Apple Watch it keeps saying that I need to set home and work on the iPhone app first even tho they’re set up. I tried to save these 2 places on saved places as well but they don’t show on my Apple Watch at all. I had to delete the app sadly, I’ll have to stick with the Apple maps app for my watch..Version: 9.4

Best so farGot this to navigate MTA, and found that it switches to London mode seamlessly and it totally wipes the floor with the alternatives. It's not possible to personalise traffic selections (say, "avoid tube," "luggage friendly" (though "wheel chair friendly" is often a good alternative) or "cut out a tube-trip that barely saves any time, but adds to the price + likelihood of delays during rush hours"). Sadly "rain safe" seems to be gone as well. They don't admit to just forwarding TfL data, so I guess blaming them for attrocious bus predictions is in order. I've seen the three first buses arrive in 4min, 4min, 5min for ca 20mins sustained, after which only one arrived. Oddly, but this may be due to iOS's memory management, in the morning when I open it for the first time in 12+ hours, it is still set for my last destination (home), but if I set my destination (work), lock the phone and unlock it, it's back to the opening page, no destination set. Odd, nit a problem. A lot of screen real-estate on a bottom pane is "wasted" (from a users perspective) on flogging their commercial services, which is probably not too surprising for a free/low priced (?) app..Version: 11.1

Terrible compared to TransitOnly reason I’m using it is because it’s an unsupported region for Transit App. But otherwise this is terrible. The GO feature is painful at best. No opportunity to use it if a train is a few minutes late because you can’t use it on trains that are “departed”, even though I’m physically on the train. Also the interface is not intuitive. There is absolutely no consideration for UI/UX. An arrow should be the same as swiping, not taking you to a completely different option than swiping. Just painful in every way (other than straight up directions with no consideration of changing your route on the fly)..Version: 11.2

Used to be good, now it’s unreliableThis used to be my go-to app for moving around London, but it’s gone downhill in the last year or so, to the point that I no longer trust it, especially for bus journeys. The app just sends me to a bus stop that doesn’t exist, or it does exist but the bus I need to take doesn’t stop there, or the bus does stop there but is disrupted - a disruption CityMapper apparently knows nothing about. The last time I tried, a week ago, it kept me waiting for 20 minutes showing a bus that was supposed to pass every 5 mins, it said the bus was about to arrive but it never did. Then I thought of checking Google Maps and there it was, bus route was disrupted because of an event. When CityMapper decided to introduce charges I decided to wait before jumping into that wagon, just in case the service degraded over time. Glad I did. Maybe the paying route would have been better, but Google Maps is free..Version: 10.58.7

This was great... now not so much..I have no idea what’s happened but the routes make no sense anymore. If you don’t know they city you’re in this would probably screw you. Standing next to Dalston Junction station and I know a train to brockley leaves in 5 mins and will take me 20 mins to get home. However Citymapper in all its wisdom wants to send me on 3 trains and a bus via London bridge for no reason at all!! So stupid. Other routes also not making sense... I want to have to brockley to London Bridge trains come up as I prefer that route.. but they dont even appear if there isn’t one in the next 10 mins (which there usually isn’t as they aren’t as regular now). Just stupid..Version: 10.37.1

Wrong pricesShows zipcar available for low price which is way under what it is for a zip car. Inaccurate.Version: 10.54.2
