✓ Very goodThis is useful and easy to use. Within 2 minutes, I have found my house and calculated the size of my garden, and the distance to the nearest school. I am giving it four stars rather than five because it would be useful to have measuring options included - so you can choose metres, feet, miles, hectares etc, rather than only having metres and square metres. I use Convertizo 3 for converting different metrics, but there is no reason why this app could not have multiple measuring options or conversions..Version: 5.0

Maps can be saved, and more than one path can be kept on each, so it has the potential for serious study as well as occasional use. ✓ Great Fun!!!Great Fun!!! and functional . Not bad for a "FREEEE" App! If the wife says too far to walk while on holidays you can at least show how far it is "Really!!" and show a more realistic view of how far it is without guessing. Looks as though the App is using "Google Maps" so is hungry for power and looks as though it is not an "Off-line" App. So if in a Wifi spot OK but be careful about upload/download charges while traveling. ✓ Outstanding!I have been using Planimeter Pro since I got my first iPad, in iOS terms since Moses was in short pants. It has never failed me, and as a professional navigator I know whereof I speak. I have done everything from measure the footprint size of my ancient ancestor's castle in Northern Ireland (Shane the Proud's castle by the side of Lough Neigh) to the size of my lot in Kanata Ontario.
