😃😃It's great - buy it😃😃This app is brilliant, I'm in Dbt at the moment and this is so help-full, everything you need, diary sheets, all the skills, reminders, skills for crisis, even personalise-able contact lists and interventions and diary sheets email direct to therapist ! all together and always with me on my phone for when i have a spare time to practise or when i need reminding of skills i should be using for difficult times. Also advised my mum to download it - she's not in therapy but it helps her to help me and suggest skills I should be implementing as well as being a bit of a self help tool for her personally ..Version: 1.1

Extremely helpful!!I found this app to be very helpful and provided me with a lot of tools in regard to DBT. The diary cards provide a lot of options, and there's even tips. You can also email it to your therapist which my personal therapist loves. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is going through dialectical behaviour therapy!!!.Version: 2.5.1

Fantastic!Thank you so much for this app. I have been doing DBT since January this year after a couple of failed attempts last year. I found it difficult to use a paper diary card and often forgot or ended up writing anything down so it looked like I had done it properly! I had this app for a while and was a bit wary about using it as I thought I would just be doubling up on inputting things! Technology came up in an individual therapy session and we decided to trial using the app and emailing diary cards every week. Well we haven't looked back! I can see trends, I can view descriptions of the skills I should be using and I can add notes which I NEVER did with a hard copy DBT Diary card. This app is amazing and is definitely making a difference in my life..Version: 2.9.1

My Saving GraceHi, I'm ex military and suffer with PTSD. I have found this app to be a Godsend. It's with me everywhere I go, which helps me in using my skills, note taking and coping with different situations. This is the BEST app I have ever purchased and I've only had it for about 5 days. Fantastic solution for those who loose paper!!When I first downloaded the app it kept crashing, I emailed the support staff and was pleasantly surprised when they replied not even two minutes later! :) So, as suggested I my phone and it still wasn't working, so then I did as they suggested and uninstalled/reinstalled the app and I happy to report the app is now working. I just logged my first diary card - and as someone who has ADHD as one of my many conditions, my number one problem in group was loosing/forgetting my diary card. I have actually moved into a totally paperless existence for that reason (bills, medical documents and all) and so have registered my Evernote account email address as well as my therapists, so the diary card will be sent automatically to my Evernote database, which means I will be able to access all my past diary cards from *any device, any where* and never have to worry about loosing them if my phone crashes etc. In fact, having the definitions handy and being able to refer to skills on the go makes it even better than the paper one. I know a lot of others have problems with this too - cant wait to tell them all about it next week :).Version: 2.0

Great DBT App!!I have been engaged with DBT for around 3 months now and have had to use paper diary sheets which has been really annoying. I wish I had got this app a lot sooner as now I don't have to carry loads of paper around with me. I am now likely to do my diary card everyday and actually look forward to doing it! SaviourI downloaded this app whilst completing DBT and found it very useful to complete my diary because I always have my phone with me! Since finishing DBT (which was life changing!!) I've used this app whenever I have had a difficult moment and using the coaching tool as helped me so much, it reminds me of the tools that I learnt (and I do forget all of the acronyms etc) to put into practice. Also, having it right there with me when i'm in the moment is just what I need. :).Version: 2.5.1

Good App, bad UIThe app overall is very good. The UI, however, certainly does not work for this guy with not really very large fingers. The up/down buttons are just tiny! Also, the app does not understand the difference between no value entered, and a 0 scale..Version: 3.7.4

Best DBT app out thereThis is by far the best and most useful app purchase I have ever made. The flexibility of the diary card is well-worth it alone, as it provides the user with the power to add, remove, change, and reorder skills and targets, add in or change descriptions of these, and decide whether the response should be numerical, yes/no, or narrative. There are sections for notes and the ability to add more! As if that isn't enough, the app also contains skill reviews, coaching, emergency planning, and the ability to email formatted PDFs of your diary cards for any number or days to your therapist or yourself. I am in DBT and feel this has revolutionized my daily diary card completion, because I have plenty of room, don't have to worry about losing or forgetting the diary card if I travel or when I go to my therapist, and don't have to worry about my privacy and someone seeing my diary card because it is in my iPad now, and the app has a password protection option! Really, what else could you ask for? It is powerful, user-friendly, adaptable, and always works. Download it now..Version: 2.0

Best app I have prescribedAs a clinician I have asked several clients to use this app, and I have been really happy that they have found it useful and that they have actually stuck with it. It's pretty impressively comprehensive too..Version: 2.5.1

Helpful appWhat would be good would be to have some mindful meditations either audio or video that you could use as part of the app. I know there have been times where if I had had acess to a short breathe observation excercise or something while I was out and about it I would have made the most of it. If also like to see some of the work sheets. I know they are probably copyright but I'm surprised marsha linehan hasn't jumped at being part of an app for bpt sufferers.Version: 2.0.2

Great app but some serious bugsI love this app, it’s been so helpful to compliment my DBT sessions. But there have been so many issues with the calendar lately (even since yesterday’s update) that it really takes away from the experience. I’ve tried contacting twice now to report the issues but haven’t heard back from anyone - which is a shame because other reviews mention excellent response to feedback..Version: 3.6.3

Awesome App!Very organized, straight forward and easy to use. I love how customizable it is! I can really make it my own with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd TBx! I love being able to add my own TBx, skills and emotions. The graph option is a really helpful visual for how emotions and targets relate to each other. Very easy to send to my therapist and the daily reminder option is helpful in remembering to fill it out. The badges are great positive reinforcers to fill out the diary card and really get into it. The skills coaching option is very helpful when I am not yet in crisis, though could benefit from some help in returning to wise mind. The app has very thorough and accurate information in regards to what skill is what and how it is used. I would say that it may be even better if it included all DBT skills (i.e. ACCEPTS, TIPP, IMPROVE, dialectical thinking, etc.) in the beginning, instead of having to add them in later, as well as the option to type the level of emotion or urge instead of having to click the up arrow a lot. I would recommend this app to anyone who finds diary cards and DBT helpful! Definitely worth the price!.Version: 2.5.1

IPhone 11 IssueThe app worked awesome on my previous IPhone. My new IPhone 11 Pro Max the notes are half off the screen and the button you push to enter notes sits on the first note making it difficult to use. I use the notes as my diary for the day so I can reference back to it during my therapy session. I tried to uninstall the app and re-install it but that didn’t fix it, I only lost all my saved information. Feeling frustrated. After submitted my review an updated was released that fixed the note issues. This is by far the best DBT app I have found. The customization allows me to tailor it to what is being addressed and worked on whole turning off the targets I don’t need to track. Update.... The IPhone 11 will not allow me to update/edit the time. This feature was handy when I remembered something from the previous day and wanted it to be in the correct order of events for that day..Version: 3.7.3

The only DBT diary card app that works!I have downloaded 4 different DBT apps on the iTunes App Store. This is the only one I use daily and I can honestly recommend. I was looking for diary card replacement. This app easily does that task, but what impressed was the care to include skills and the ability to personalise it to my needs. Really helpful :)I'm in the middle of DBT right now and downloaded this app a week ago after my therapist recommended it. So far it has been super helpful, and I love being able to do diary cards on the go from my iPod. I used to have a hard time remembering to fill out my diary cards every day, but with this app it's so easy to remember. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in DBT :).Version: 2.0.2

50/50This app doesn’t work on my phone but works on my iPad? My phone has the most recent update but my iPad had the older one. I can not open anything inside this app on my phone. Little disappointing as I carry my iPhone with me more than my iPad. Hopefully this will be resolved soon as the app itself is a really helpful tool!.Version: 3.5.1

I want to give it 5 stars but it keeps deleting my past week’s information EDITUPDATE: I haven’t updated my review for quite awhile and I apologize for that. Now I love this app, it still sometimes has bugs but they’re usually dealt with in the next update and they’re typically not a big deal. I haven’t used any other diary card app so I can’t compare it to anything but I really do depend on this app for quite a few things including emailing my diary card each week to my DBT co-facilitators. I really do love this app, it’s easy to use and keeps all my data from literally years ago, probably partly due to iCloud but also this app. Anyway apologies for not updating my review in forever! My original review below 👇🏼 Let me start with saying I love this app. I’ve been using it for years with few negative things to say. I’m getting used to the new interface and am starting to like this version also. However it is now really buggy. Two weeks ago it deleted all my information from the previous week but with a new update restored it. Now this week it again deleted the previous week’s diary cards. I’ve been waiting for a new update to fix this, too, but it hasn’t had an update as of the writing of this review and this time if the developer could fix it—for good—that would be much appreciated. I don’t know if there are any comparable diary card apps but I’d hate to lose all my information with changing apps because if this keeps up I just can’t keep using an app like this that I use for personal information regarding my mental health/other personal stuff being super buggy all the time. Please fix it! Otherwise unfortunately I’ll have to look elsewhere..Version: 3.7.2

Filling out the diary card given to me, on the other hand, has been a challenge! I was so excited to find this app to help me keep track of my progress. Dropbox support?I love the app. Thank you. Dropbox does not seem to be working though. I want to backup on one iPhone so I can restore the data onto a different phone but it is saying it is not compatible with the new version of Dropbox and that the app needs to be updated. Such a good app!!Love this app! I use it a million times a day. It’s the only diary card that I have been able to build a habit with and I love how simple it is to track progress. My only complaints are that not all of the coaching sections have a spell check (such a minor thing) and I would love more in-depth coaching for check the facts and reality acceptance..Version: 3.5.3

DBT in Real LifeDBT clients have a lot to remember and practice: wise mind, diary cards, individual and group therapies, etc. This app makes that possible while you remember to live your daily routines. I've had trouble completing my paper diary card everyday, let alone referring to my thick binder to find that one skill to help me through a specific stressor. I have been lucky enough to achieved a level of DBT skills where I am working on regulation more than tolerance, and this app helps me organize that. I am glad my therapist mentioned it, and I'm glad I can lay in bed and complete my diary card every night. The chart and graph that gives a view of how I did with my feelings in the past week/month/year, the feature that lets me choose the specific songs for times of distress, and the fact that I can send my progress to my individual therapist with a tap, all help me continue to build my life worth living. Maybe four and 7/8 stars to be accurate.Been using this daily now for a few weeks. Very, very easy to fill in, and it keeps synced with my phone. We submit diary pages taken straight from the manual, so I have to transfer the app info into the preferred format. Not a big deal, and I can customise the criteria for any info the tutors ask for. I would like to be able to go back and edit the notes for typos etc, and that loses the 1/8 star, because it's a trivial point. The notes section is particularly useful to take to session, as an aide memoire. Recommend as an adjunct to a course..Version: 3.4

Great AppI'm am just so grateful someone has put in the time to create this app. When I first found out that I would be doing DBT and realised it meant keeping a diary I freaked out about keeping track of paper as I loose it or forget it at least I know with technology it's always in my handbag!! I would love if the app could synch between devices and if there was some audio functions too. Over All I find the app very easy to use and love how I can tailor it to suit my needs.
