TideTrac for Positive User Reviews

Extremely useful, quirky interfaceThis little app is a huge help when watching tides, and the alarms are very cool. The graphs and charts make sense, but the charts are a lot busy. Switching from station to station is clunky, and could be simpler..Version: 2.3.1

Very handyIt's the first place I look before planning a boat trip. There are a lot of places to look up tides but this is always with me and all the info is here..Version: 2.4

Tide tracTotally reliable, so much so that we plan many things in our year around its info, especially summer events here on Hood Canal. It's always accurate to the minute.Version: 2.3.1

Very good overall appNo app is "perfect" but this app does a very good (and beautifully presented) job of presenting current overall conditions along with several options for further, more detailed information. Wish it were available on an iPhone format..Version: 2.3.1

Awesome, does everything I need to know about tides, local or otherwiseReal time indication of where the tide is at my location or at whatever location I choose. Very powerful data base and SO easy to use! Only tide app I use..Version: 2.4

Just what I need for intertidal researchI lead a group that is doing citizen science in Puget Sound intertidal helping to assess invasive European Green Crab. I need to plan sampling trips months in advance and I’ve been using this tool for several years. Gives me tides and sunrise/sunset, just what I need. Perfect!.Version: 2.4.1

Best tide tracker in App StoreI tried of few different tide trackers in the App Store including a few paid ones and at the end of the day this one is the best. Simple layout but still gives you the information you want to see at one quick glance..Version: 2.4

Useful, accurate, and well desgnedI haven't found a better tide app. I use it often and like the user interface..Version: 2.4

Shows exactly what I needIt’s a simple app but but does all I need perfectly. I use it several times a day during the 4 months a year we live near the beach..Version: 2.4

Very informative appHave had no issues with this app correct each time. Able to change saltations depending on where I want to go in..Version: 2.4.1

Great for tide pool visitsI strongly recommend this app for anyone who enjoys visiting tide pools or simply exploring. You can save time and frustration by finding out the two low tide times each day. Plus, you can amaze the kids with your nerdy knowledge 😁.Version: 2.3.1

Does just what is saysI would give 5 stars except display elements appear over top of the times and height information. Can barley read when covered by shaded area indicating day time. Also reference lines go over text. Would be nice to display sun and moon rise set times numerically as well as current graphical display..Version: 2.3.1

Wonderful graphicsUnlike “just tables” depictions of tide data, this app has multiple super-intuitive graphics that allow you to easily get a view of what has happened, will happen, and the upcoming low/high differences. Very cool. Tried a bunch, this is the winner..Version: 2.3.1

All the info I needThis app defines what an app ought to be. Just a couple of clicks to set a nearby station. Then view a graphical depiction of times and tides. Provides all the info I need. Quick and easy. Easily a 5+ rating..Version: 2.3.1

ExcellentSimple and easy to use. All I want now is to be able to see it on my series 4 watch. It helps me determine what day and what time to swim at my favorite spots. Just waiting to be able to see it on my watch face..Version: 2.4

PracticalThis application is perfectly made for someone who needs the information in the most easily readable format possible..Version: 2.4

Great for our needsDay sailors. Just wanting a tide clock for planning purposes (taking dock in and out/searching for moorings/sailing in and out of our shallow water harbor in our Beetle Cat). We live 4 hours from our harbor, so nice to plan ahead. This app offers us the simple info we need..Version: 2.4

Great AppI’ve had several tired apps in the past but this one is by far the best. It’s easy to use and easy to understand. Will use it in the Puget Sound area to plan a kayaking trips..Version: 2.3.1

Overall excellent productI have been using TideTrac for the last five years and it has been an excellent application for both calculating clamming and salmon tides.Version: 2.4.1

Excellent AppHave been using it for several years now while boating. In addition to the tides, i like the fact that it gives you the time of sunrise and sunset as well as phases of the moon. It’s a very good planning tool..Version: 2.4

Great appThis is the best tide app I have used. Purchased several others, and none compare to this one. Information is presented wonderfully. Highly recommend if your looking for a tide chart or clock app..Version: 2.3.1

ExcellentGreat interface and graphics; user friendly. This program tells this fisherman what I want to know about tides. The graphics give you instant knowledge of where the tides are sand what they're doing with just a glance. Perfect tide app IMHO!.Version: 2.3.1

Nice App and useful appThis is a very practical and useful app and I am grateful to the developers. The interface could be improved a little for 5 stars. 1. Faster way to selected a station close to you 2. Tide graph screen making it smoother to check tide for the night. Current screen cuts off at midnight but I am often interest in evening to morning (i.e overnight anchoring). A sliding graph would be fantastic or the behavior of the time slider could be improved when moving to the next/previous day so that it automatically moves to the left/right of the screen instead of staying on the same time. 3. Finally I would add a fixed current time marker to make it easier to think by difference the current situation. CAB.Version: 2.3.1

IntegrityI downloaded a few bizarre apps looking for me to trac the tides near me. They kept sending me photos of Russians fishing and other weird scenarios. I gave up for a while and was so grateful when I found this nice normal app called Tide Trac that meets my needs perfectly and nothing about it has seemed “strange”!.Version: 2.4.1

Does everything it should do!Does everything it should do, and does it beautifully!.Version: 2.3.1

Nice interface, useful dataI’ve tried a few tide apps and this one is my fave. Everything I want with no extraneous junk. I like being able to cache multiple locations for local corrections when we are out of cell service (coastal Alaska). Works well, I’m happy..Version: 2.5

WonderfulGreat app, love it on both iPhone and iPad. Info clearly presented, easy to use, lots of options, plus a calendar with moon info as well as basic sun/moon times. For me it fits all what I'd hoped. Really like the layout....easy to see neap tides, etc..Version: 2.4.1

Finally - One app with all the featuresTides, moon phases and sun set/rise all in one app. Easy to store and recall multiple tide stations and forward planning on tides and moon phases. Outstanding graph and layout. A must have for anyone needing this information. I went from using three web pages to only one app. Great job by the designers and engineers..Version: 2.4

IPad version beautiful!I love having the moon phases for the month as a graphic. You don't get that with the iPhone version of the app. It has all the information I need, and the app works flawlessly..Version: 2.3.1

A Small Glitch5/5/17 Really good. HOWEVER I think that there's a problem. I tapped on "More Apps" and instead of going into the App Store, it keeps going into my Apple Native Music app. It's probably just a glitch. I will monitor this and contact the developer if there's no improvement.2:32 am. Found my contacts Apple Native app opened. I very rarely open that app, especially on iPad. I hope that was just a mistake on my part..Version: 2.3.1

Florida LifestyleWe use this app all the time for beach days paddle board trips and even some of our hiking adventures that are by the coast. It never fails me. I love all the tide stations to choose from because we have many many launch sites and the tides are so different in each nook and cranny. Thank you TideTrac for years of reliable tide prediction!!!.Version: 2.4.1

Reliable easy to use interfaceSuch a reliable app, always works and is accurate. My go to to check the tide at the beach..Version: 2.4

My go-to tide app!As a scuba instructor, I use TideTrac every week. Easy to use and I like the graphic display. Would love a search feature to find low exchange times for a given time period..Version: 2.3.1

Free and greatDoesn't glitch, has just what you need. I suppose it could use other layers of data, but not many people need it.Version: 2.3.1

Useful until it quit workingLeaving Moorehead City, NC I kept getting an error. Quit disturbing, but overall it’s been a great app except for this one day when I really need it. Not enough to take away more than one star.Version: 2.4.1

This is a great app!You can use this easily for checking on high and low tides wherever you are. I use it mainly in California where there is a lot of tidal variation up and down the coast. Also used it recently in Hawaii. Love this app!.Version: 2.3.1

Best tide app I’ve found! This is the best tide app, can easily navigate between stations and save favorite stations. As someone who goes out all along the coast of Maine, having this feature easy is key. Also like having both graph and list format for tide data. On top of that, it’s my go-to for sun and moon rise/set times, much faster to load than any other app I’ve used/seen!.Version: 2.4.1

Tide trackerI use this app several times a day to check good swimming times and kayak too. My aim is about an hour after the turn after either high or low. I can plan ahead according to the spring and neap tides..Version: 2.4

Great AppBeen using for couple years now. We're fortunate and live on the water (Puget Sound, Wa). I've tried several apps and kept coming back to this one. Everything I need to know is on the main screen and if you really want to dig into things, explore this app - you'll find what you want..Version: 2.3.1

I LOVE IT!!I'm a landscape photographer who lives on the California coast and I LOVE this AP, I use it nearly everyday. I love the layout, ease of use, visual display, all are GREAT! The only thing I really wish it had was more Moon details. This AP would be a 6 out of 5if it had The moon phases along with percentage of brightness and of course moon set and moonrise times. Something that would make this AP even more useful would be Swell data. But I'm getting picky. Are far as tide data goes it's been great, I highly recommend it!.Version: 2.3.1

Like it better on iPadI like the simple informative display of this app. I am disappointed, however, that the iPhone version lacks lunar phase information in the iPad version of this app. Please add a fourth swipe screen with the lunar calendar to the iPhone version? Thanks..Version: 2.4

Love it!Really no complaints. Seems to do everything I need it to do. Kinda wish it had an option to alert me on my home screen what time high and low tide will be occurring each day. Maybe an upgrade to next version? Would also like an Apple Watch app version. Please add!!.Version: 2.3.1

The absolute best tide app!I'm a professional Sea Kayak guide. I work in Maine in the summer in Florida in the winter. Been looking for a tide app forever and finally found this one. Have shared it with fellow guides and we all think it's the best..Version: 2.3.1

Very easy to useI looked at several apps and websites and found this one to be the quickest and most useful. I use it determine when the best times to take the kids to the beach and similar activities..Version: 2.4.1

Great tide app! This app is easy to use and packed with information. Pick a tide location on one tab and then choose a tab to see the tides as a graph or a table. The graph page includes a month calendar of moon phases and the moon rise and set for the day you’re looking at. There’s a handy slider if you want to move forward in the day or to another day. Great app! Many thanks to the developer!.Version: 2.4.1

Use it daily to launch my seaplaneThis app is extremely valuable to me as I need a certain tide level to put my plane in the water off of the ramp..Version: 2.3.1

Pretty close to 5I too would like an easier way to select a nearby location, but if you are stationary and pick your regular location, it is most useful. Clear and attractive.Version: 2.3.1
