✓ Could be much betterNot bad and definitely better than typical tinder clones. I would suggest two things: 1. Mark people I said “Hi” to before so one may not do it again by mistake . If you don’t it smells like you are deliberately trying to milk money from people who will “hi” the same person multiple times. It also feels creepy if you get a few nudges from the same person. 2. Add more options for “I’m free for...”, such as coffee, breakfast, lunch, chat etc..Version: 8.10.5
✓ I met the love of my life.My daughter and son downloaded the app in the hope they’d help me find true love. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a bunch of weirdos out there, but I have found the love of my life on this app. It was my first experience of a dating app and I think it’ll be my last. I love that it initially shows people who you’re likely to have been around and even possibly walked past in the street. So 5 stars from me because it’s well over a year in the relationship and well over a year since I deleted this app, but I still think about how it helped me find a love I didn’t truly believe existed outside of fairytales. ✓ UpdatesBeen using the app for a number of years now without subscribing as I wasn’t getting any dates out of it, but at least it was reasonably enjoyable to use. The latest updates have made it difficult to navigate, have meant parts that previously worked without subscription no longer do as I am no longer able to like profiles and conversations I was having are frequently shaded out. About ready to delete both my profile and the app as it is now pants and would not be worth the money to subscribe!.Version: 9.60.1

✓ Met my husband on this appOur wedding photo was featured on the Happn IG account in Feb 2020. Thought it was worth this belated 5* review as we are now expecting our first child. I think what was great about the app feature is that his face popped up more than once as we frequently crossed paths on the daily commute through Canary Wharf. ✓ Low blow&questionable practiceI’d be interested to see if this app’s creator(s) are not resorting to dodgy, illegal tricks to get people’s money. Short time after I signed up to this, I got a notification telling me someone is interested in me but to be able to see who or from where, I had to pay. Sounds familiar right? Not particularly concerned about money at this stage, I paid. And guess what? My “admirer” lives thousands of miles away from me -something that should never ever happen in an app that prides itself on matching people who just walked/drove past each other- and on top of that, my “distant” admirer looked like an Instagram model, no genuine info, nothing that even bothers to convince anyone profile is real. This kind of thing shouldn’t “happen” when people use an app that focuses on location based dating. And that I had to pay to find this out? I wonder what the relevant government authority would think about this and whether the business responsible for this can be hold accountable. You keep doing this, eventually you’ll end up in court mate..Version: 9.4.4
✓ New update chat bugWhen typing a message can't see anything below five lines (can continue typing but won't see what's been typed until you send). Please fix 💙 otherwise a decent dating app, not as popular as some other free ones but at least it's totally usable without buying the premium unlike some many other apps. And I generally like the new update. My pictures are still not displayed as I crop them while uploading so I end up headless in most of my pix. A little frustrating but oh well.Version: 12.0.1

✓ Not worth !I can say for sure that this is absolutely not a good dating site and it is not worth using. one of the reasons is that the support service is not qualified to do their job. They banned me for nothing !!! and when I contacted with the help, the answer was that the reason they blocked me was that I was advertising something 🤦🏻♀️ I have never advertised anything in my life on any dating sites and happn is one of the dating sites that banned me for no reason and did not help me with recover my account! we don't need a dating site where if you've been blocked by mistake, it's easier for them to write nonsense than to help restore your account!.Version: 9.34
