✓ Micro-transactionsThe game is balanced around spending “gems” for upgrades and starting game gold, so after the first few levels that are possible without gems, you soon either have to spend time mindlessly repeating levels for more gems, or buy them for real money. ✓ It is a really bad game. DON’T GET IT......When I completed a really hard level it keeps saying that I haven’t done it. It is definitely not my iPad, because my iPad is one of the newest apple devices. I use up 10,000 gems (which are really hard to get) on that level twice and all you have to do anyway is place towers. The game makes it so addictive and if you think about it then it is actually really boring. DON’T GET THIS GAME!!!.SeeyahhhhVersion: 3.8

✓ Used to be perfect butRecent updates make it so hard to tap the towers and boss. For example, in ‘the dark tower’ and ‘stormcloud temple’, no matter how hard and fast you tap on the ‘locked’ towers, they still get locked. ✓ Fun game but that quickly endsI was really enjoying this game. Like many you fight your way along the map, you gain powers, abilities and heroes. And then suddenly you find there is only 1 map. I finished it in 1 day. But then you look and you X out of 130 stars. There is no way to get more stars. If you start a new game slot that is just a whole new game the stars don’t add to the first. You can change to a higher difficulty but that doesn’t earn you stars. And only stars allow you to purchase upgrades. The only thing left is achievements that don’t give stars and gems that give you special weapons that you still cannot use on the lower levels. ✓ Warning: Not the same as original pc versionI went back and compared this to my old version, with all stats and talents the same. This mobile version has been rebalanced to purposely frustrate the player and make it extremely difficult to get 2 stars once you get past the training areas. Yes, it is doable as a free player if you have a lot of time invested for grinding stars for all talents. Kingdom rush mobile has been purposely balanced around making the player either wipe over and over in a grind of trial and error, or use consumables which they very handily sell for some real money, or to look at all those heroes locked behind cash and say hey, maybe those guys would help me out more with this..Faith beyondVersion: 3.9

✓ Rip off gameI have no doubt that this was once a great game, however it has now unfortunately become a cash machine for the developers. If you are new to this game as I am then it is near impossible to make any headway unless you resort to In app purchases, if you do that it ruins the game and is expensive as enough gems will cost you nearly 5 USD per shot. I can see what they have done, build up a good reputation and a loyal following, then make as much money as they can, offering a cheap purchase of the game, and then making it nearly impossible to complete without costly in app purchases. Well no thanks I will never buy anything from you again. There are much better games around that don't have these awful in app purchases. This really puts me off the game. I would pay good money for this game if it didn't have that stupid feature. If you insist on keeping it in, why not make it a switchable option? ✓ FrustratingAt first, this is a fun td game. However, it turns into something that would be easier to play if you buy items for the game. No thanks. The final levels caused me to remove the game. The enemy casts a spell on your towers that requires you to tap repeatedly on the affected towers or they are disabled for a while. Who thinks this is fun? It is just annoying and aggravating. ✓ Turned me into a screen tapping baboon.This game stared fine but around level 7 or 8 there appeared an attack strategy of a wizard or something putting a spell on your defensive structures. The implementation of the spell to freeze your defence structure for a limited time was preceded with the requirement to tap on the structure to avoid the spell taking place. This was over a number of structures all over the game resulting in you sitting there and tapping your screen wildly. I think this action is ridiculous and childish and beyond what I consider strategy or normal game play. Time to uninstall this app and move on..Pete DunneVersion: 5.6.21

✓ Avoid Newest Update5 star game just turned into a 1 star game with 10 year anniversary update. Did they not ever hear the saying “If it isn’t broke don’t fix it”? They changed the sound, the way it fits on my iPad, the way orange magic tower infects targets, etc….Went over to Frontiers and Origins and verified that they changed them as well. ✓ Money WantedYou can get through the main campaign really easy, but you need “Gems” to buy items that help you during levels. These items aren’t really needed that much during the campaign, but once you complete the campaign, new levels unlock, and they are unwinable without the items. Also, the extra difficulty levels to the campaign are the same way. The game hooks you in with an easy campaign, but then hammers you with unwinable extras. I’ve tried multiple combinations of towers, and the only thing that helps is items. I loved this game at first, but now I hate it. ✓ ExcellentThe best tower defence game I have ever played * this is still the best tower defence game however the developers have now messed around with the difficulty in the updates. Some levels are now impossible on normal or veteran. (where as before they were just really hard but a good strategy would always win you through and even if you did fail you didn't feel like it was unfair, just that your strategy was wrong) In some levels you are just overwhelmed in the first few minutes before you even have a chance to upgrade towers. It smacks of the developers pushing you towards the in app purchases which is naughty. The update on Kingdom rush frontiers still has the difficulty spot on but this has lost 2 stars for its sheer frustrating difficulty level.PanzeryetiVersion: 2.2
