✓ I hate vez’nan, everything else is goodVez nan is the worst enemy ever. He makes shields, summons enemies and turns into a dragon. When I killed the first vez’nan he turned into dragon!!! I killed the regular version of vez’nan right at the end when he was passing through the losing way. I was so excited about killing him, but turning into a dragon killed me so much. Using the stars you get from each level to buy upgrades is great, the difficulty level is excellent (even easy isn't always a breeze; I hate when games are too easy), the animation is very endearing and the little battle cries are adorable. Doesn't take itself too seriously, so the camping isnt huge, although plenty of replay value trying to get the various achievements on each level. ✓ Amazing app!I would love to see endless/survival mode(although I haven't completed the campaign so this might exist) you could choose a different map and try to survive as long as possible and maybe every 20 waves a boss could come. Another cool game mode would be multiplayer (between two devices) one player are the humans and the other monsters the the humans would function the same as in the campaign but the monsters would be different whilst a round is happening the player must choose which monsters he/she would like to be in the next round even the quantity a currency say like bones would decide how strong the round could be ( so the cheapest monster would cost 10 bones per unit the longer the humans survive the more bones the monsters get to start with and to stop the monsters from sending in very strong monsters in the first wave every round the humans survive the monsters unlock a new one the monsters win by taking all the humans lives the humans can win by surviving all of the rounds. Anyway it's just something I've thought of I would love to see this in the game soon..Version: 1.2

Considering they're just an animation on the screen, there's no way I would ever consider paying a whopping $7 for one! 99c I understand (you have to make a profit somehow). But not $7. - Sometimes the tapping to unfreeze towers etc gets a bit annoying. Once or twice over a few levels is good, but too much is old... - The endless mode is so hard, even if you decide to give up on normal and try casual instead (me). ✓ BrilliantIt's a great game. There's a lot of tower defence games out there and this manages to avoid being a clone of them or being repetitive, each (well most) level has different specialist towers on top of the 4 basic towers making each level great fun. After you finish all the levels you can go back and try to get 3 stars on all of them - stars are used as the currency for upgrades and extra strong heroes with different attributes. As well as that you can play in 3 different difficulties and also different variations that change the rules e.g increases speed of all enemies (i don't know if that is an actual variation). All in all : brilliant. Great fun with great replay value and all at a low cost. P.S - REGARDING HEROES AND IaP's As for a review I read a second ago : yes they released an update with some heroes available for IaP, but they only cost £0.69/$0.99 and as you so rightly said "if you can afford an iPad you can afford a few bucks on a game" (slightly paraphrased as I don't want to go find the exact words). No ones forcing you to buy them... It's a great game without them. I'm not even sure you have to pay for them; for me it says they just cost 15 stars so just earn the stars..Version: 1.5

✓ Good, but far too challenging at later levelsThis is a really great game in a lot of ways, but it becomes way too challenging and frustrating at later stages, even on 'easy'. Some levels mean 1 baddie getting through will lose you the level, and it becomes extremely annoying as no matter what strategy you use, you simply are not able to win. The game gets so busy and the forces overwhelming that beating them is not an option, unless you have every upgrade possible. Make the levels easier guys, or at least don't just have a 'one baddie pass and you're out' rule. 20 minutes of play to loose to a level way too hard for most people makes you want to delete the game!.Version: 1.0.1

Now that you've gotten extra money from already loyal customers how about more frequent updates? And the game really needs an endless mode. ✓ Speed ButtonI absolutely loved playing this when I was younger and I’ve only just downloaded it again. I think the graphics are outstanding, Its simple but detailed at the same time! I love how you can interact with the sheep on the paddocks too! One thing I would do to make the game better is add a speed up button, That way if your in a rush or something is taking a lot of time to kill (Like an Ogre) you can speed it up. It can get a little boring having wait and watch the same thing happen over and over again ( Eg. similar waves repeating). One reviewer says you can't complete the game without buying the in-app purchases, which is absolute rubbish. Just spend a bit of time playing the game and get good at it. Of course you can buy stuff, which, by the way Is very reasonably priced and by no means devalues the game in any way, but you can also do it without buying stuff. Sheesh. It really bugs me how people slate the game for the in app purchase system. It is about as unobtrusive as it gets. The extra content is there if you want it, but doesn't make the game any worse if you don't. Ignore people who are warning about "$15 for the whole game or some such rubbish" - this game is easily worth $15 anyway, but it's just a fraction of that cost for tonnes of fun! It has its own unique upgrades, and very level is unique in its own way. You can see that this game had a lot of effort put into it. I remember playing for the first time 9 years ago when I was 13 and now as a 22 year old, I still enjoy this game. I love the quirkiness, the phrases the towers come out with especially, often references to other popular culture e.g. "It's a kind of magic", Queen of course. Maybe they've improved upon this in later versions but at present the story/characters are not fleshed out AT ALL, which means while you may care about you're hard won victories the characters themselves offer nothing to this. I completed this game in a bit over an hour after the intense final boss fight. ✓ Great tower defenseThis is one of the best tower defenses ever although it needs more maps like one with a huge lake with a pathway around the edge and floating islands to put yours towers on and also make water monsters like submarine goblin or zombie shark. Maybe a flying enemy that when near death it dives into the water and jumps out sometimes. Also make a spell that makes a huge snowstorm that hurts and freezes enemy's on a certain part of the field.
