✓ Haven’t had the luck like most of these reviews…There were a few items I really wanted, but knew I wouldn’t have the free time around the last few minutes, so I figured I would try this out. I was able to win one item, maybe because there wasn’t much interest? And I ended up losing out on two completely different items, from two different sellers, on different days; both bids with 3 seconds left. Either this app isn’t that proficient, or other buyers have a wayyy better system they’re using to snag something that much quicker..ItsCupquakeeVersion: 10.4

✓ Worked great for a while, now completely bricked.Loved this app for a month or two, and after taking a few weeks off from it and coming back, it just keeps giving me the same error message with zero support available online or in the app. I have 4 credits left and it won’t let me place bids for anything. I’ve logged out of my account on Baytomat AND ebay and logged back in again. ✓ This app is hot garbageI entered my details which was all fine and it synced my correct auctions I was watching. I had 5 auctions that ended at the same time and I put a max bid of $50 on each one. Somehow I won only one of them when none went for over $30 and the other 4 said my details weren’t in. Kinda curious how that even works when one works fine. ✓ MisleadingDownloaded because it had positive reviews so seemed reliable. After entering all my personal data and placing my max bid for just two auctions it came up with the error message ‘not enough credit’ and seemed to want my money. Even though the description says you can initially bid for free on 10 auctions. I’m not giving money to an app I haven’t even used! Seems dodgy as hell and it’s false advertising, have uninstalled! ✓ No 2FATried to do the right thing by writing to you via your contact us form on your website but it errors saying to check my internet connection (which is fine), so feedback is my only remaining option. The problem I have is that I didn’t even get to try this as the first thing is asks me to do is disable my two factor authentication on my eBay account. Enabling 2FA on as much as I can is my way of ensuring the security of my accounts and my personal data and financial information. The last thing I want to do is disable it. It would be so much better if your app supported this extra layer of security thereby demonstrating how seriously you take the security of peoples account info. It would also help protect you against accusations of hacked accounts which I also read in the app feedback. Surely there is an API or some other method that can take an initial 2FA authentication, and then the end user can set that app to trusted, thereby not removing 2FA from their eBay account? ✓ English pleaseI didn’t wanna write a bad review of this app, especially since I haven’t used it yet. The problem is the terms and conditions are not in English. I couldn’t see a settings option anywhere to change the language on the sign-up page of the app. I then tried reading them on their website by clicking the App Support button, the terms of service we’re not in English on the website either. So I tried contacting them, however it was a requirement to give them some of my eBay account information in order to contact them, just ask a question. So I thought OK you’re making this too difficult to set up an account, so one star. P.S. I wish a service like this wasn’t necessary, but I got sniped out of the last three purchases I tried to make through an eBay auction, so as the old saying goes if you can’t beat them join them. ✓ Unforgivable ErrorIt actually pains me to write this review. I have used this app successfully in the past however today I found an item on eBay that I had been looking for for a long time for a good price. I set up my bid and the program accepted the bid and then DID NOT execute it. When I checked there was an error that I wasn’t logged in. How could the program set up a bid if you’re not logged in. Unforgivable error. I know this app has five stars, but I also have noticed people have noted this problem in the past so it still persists. ✓ App conked out just seconds before the auction finishedFirst of all, the app wasn’t in sync with eBay since it showed the same maximum bid for hours even after it had changed on eBay. Secondly, just 10s before the auction ended, the app gave an error message that the connection to the server had been lost, so someone was able to put in a higher bid right before this app could place my bid for me. Not sure where all these 5-star reviews are coming from, but it’s a bit suspicious that the most recent ones all say they’ve had a lot of success and have won multiple auctions since they first installed the app and linked it to eBay. ✓ Useless toI downloaded this app because it had some good reviews. I used it to bid for an eBay item. I configured the app to win a bid I placed a $10 bid limit for a $2 item! After awhile I got a message telling me that I hadn’t won the bid. I checked out the bidders list and someone won the bid for $2.75 cents. ✓ App didn’t workHave used the website many times over the last decade or so but decided to try the app since I was away from home. I signed in using my eBay info, found the auction, and set my max bid. The next day hours before the auction ended, I double checked the app to make sure all was still set and it was. When the auction ended I couldn’t check my phone but the app had notified me that it needed my eBay password and since I didn’t see the notification in time, I missed the bid, which I would’ve won easily. ✓ Rubbish!Don’t know how this app has had so many 5 star reviews. Downloaded and entered my details although why ask for an email address then don’t email confirmation of registration? Couldn’t import my watch list, couldn’t go to the listing and copy and paste the listing number so ended up writing down the listing number and entered it manually. Then it asked how much I wanted to bid in Euros, couldn’t find any way of changing that to GBP so deleted the app and changed my eBay password. ✓ Ebay hackedI had a very secure password for ebay and it got hacked after using this app. Could be a coincidence but the reality is you are giving away you password to a stranger when using these type of apps so be advised to use secondary login for ebay and make sure your email stays hidden and this will keep you better protected when using 3rd party apps and change password after you stop using app. UPDATE. Dev contacted me to say in no way was my ebay hacked so i presume while in my sleep i logged in and agreed to their new terms added items for sale that don’t exist trying to get me a negative score and also got my paypal account locked out. ✓ What Happened??App was GREAT until it just stopped working!! I’ve tried everything. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled. I’ve re-started my phone. I’ve tried it on different phones, nothing works. The one, single option you have for setting up your bid is very simple, just enter the eBay item number and hit “Load Auction”. For the first 10-15 times, it worked flawlessly! ✓ Simple to use, if it worksI was expecting a flawless process given the universal 5-star reviews. Set up was easy and after signing in I set up a pair of important auction bids that I wasn’t able to be present for. I lost both despite bidding more than $20 above the winning bids; the reason given was that I needed to “verify my identity” as the bid was being placed through computers I had not signed in from before. Frankly, if I was not verified beforehand, the Baytomat software should not have confirmed that my auction bids were successfully set up and ready to go. Deeply disappointing. I have had better success from desktop based apps without such teething problems. I suggest new users test out the app on an unimportant auction beforehand..UkstairsVersion: 6.4.7

✓ Good app unethical companyThe only reason this app has close to 5 stars is because they try to bribe you to leave a 5 star review and if you don't this annoying popup keeps coming up that you can't get rid of. It works ok, works but it's expensive. And after you have used it for a few days there will be an annoying popup that asks you to go rate the app and give it "5 Stars." However, if you don't do the review or give it 5 stars then the popup won't stop and you never get your 5 free credits. When you actually compare the price of the app to what eBay makes on auctions it's clear that the app try's to make as much or more than eBay does. More expensive auctions "cost" more credits to snipe so they can make increasingly more money on more expensive auctions..PaintjesdeyeVersion: 6.4.7

✓ Don’t recommendEnded up losing an item I really wanted because this app only works if you’re connected to the internet at the time of auction. Think this needs to be made clearer. I downloaded it because I knew I was going to be at a concert during the time the auction would end. I didn’t have any signal and ended up losing out. I don’t recommend. Edit: in response to the incredibly rude reply I got from the developer, your app clearly glitched in that case as I had the bid ready to go for hours on my phone and then after it had ended it said the bid was not able to be placed as the app system was unable to connect to my eBay login even though it had been completely fine for the hours up to that point. ✓ Pricing is needlessly convoluted and poorly explainedThis app works wonderfully! What an amazing tool. It’s worth paying for as well, but alas, they have crated a system so complex, both in the structure and the explanation, that you will need a white board, a slide rule, a mathematician and some time in order to figure out just the basics of what it will cost to have the app make automated bids for you, let alone trying to figure out if it’s worth the time. They don’t charge a flat rate or seemingly even a flat percentage for auction. It’s very hard to understand even how many “points’ it will cost you. Then the points are purchased in advance, and there is a scale of cost. The entire system is so frustratingly complex and difficult to understand, which is ironic for an app that so wonderfully makes your life less complex and simpler.
