Clear Lists for Positive User Reviews

A gorgeous and well thought out appClear does one thing and one thing only, it helps you make and maintain simple to do lists. But this simplicity is perhaps its greatest feature. It doesn't try to distract you with anything else and every little interaction the app presents to you has obviously been painstakingly thought out and iterates on relentlessly. Effortlessly simple, beautifully polished, it's quickly made its way to my home screen..Version: 1.0

Data lost after updateLooks like I lost all my data and some rewards (TestFlight icon) after 2.0 update. After reinstalling the app, lost more collectibles..Version: 2.0

Yes! FINALLY!So chuffed you brought this little app back to life. As an early £adopter, I’ve seen this app go through some drastic changes & then suddenly it all stopped. Great to see it in its previous guise (please don’t make us upgrade to that weird expanding type version - keep it just as it is now!).Version: 1.7.10

Best List AppI’ve used this app for years and it’s my one of my favorite apps I own full stop. The UI is sleek and useful and makes being productive fun and easy. You can make lists and set reminders, my only ask is that you could set repeating reminders or set a schedule. Right now you can only set it for one day and time and you will have to reset every time if it’s a task like taking the garbage out or watering plants. But for what it’s made for, Lists, it does it best and I’m super happy with it..Version: 2.0

THANK YOU for the update!! Finally!!I have been using Clear for years now to collect daily thoughts and “moments of clarity” as I call them, towards writing a book. As my phone is truly a tool for my curious brain, I felt Clear had the perfect format, simplicity and ease of use I needed to just whip it up and save a quick thought or two. It’s *by far* my #1 favourite app on the iPhone. Thank you for making this and updating it after this 4-year hiatus..Version: 1.7.10

Simple, intuitive, essentialI am a list tragic and use lists to organise and track everything. I installed this app when it first launched and use it to maintain everything from To Do and shopping to bills and bucket lists. Never bettered, and so grateful for the update that fixed a recent annoying bug. Love, love, love, Clear! 😊.Version: 1.7.9

New update takes 10 seconds to delete a listFinally, after months of the new update not even launching thinking that I lost my data, it finally works. Except that now it takes 10 seconds or so to delete a list, and it takes a second to delete an item. Seriously, did someone take over this list app and replace it with a shinier but crappier version?? I sure hope the original developer isn’t part of this redesign, because that is truly embarrassing.Version: 2.1.3

Developers that really careHaving read the email summarizing the upgrade from v1 to v2, I feel for you developers, that some of the user data migration went wrong, and that you were so gutted to let down some users. It means a lot that you care so deeply about your users and their long term experience with the Clear app, and it’s so awesome to see you working hard to fix the bugs that occurred for some users during the upgrade. The App Store needs more developers like you. Bravo.Version: 2.0.2

Simply amazingThis app is worth every penny that now I am much more productive using it to make sure I get my tasks done everyday. It's so simple yet so effective. Really changed the way I do things, no more slacking off.Version: 1.1

Here since the beginning and happy to see it evolve.I’ve used this since college and even then it was the most intuitive list app I had ever used. But with the most recent update, it has breathed new life into this app. It’s a complete metamorphosis into the BEST list app ever. The previews do not do it justice on how much it has improved. The quality of life updates, the added features and don’t even get me started on the level of personalization you have now. You can change the theme, font, app icon, quotes and even the sound effects! It’s a whole new level than it was before and it’s a joy to use. As someone with severe ADHD this is the best list app to keep me engaged, entertained, and focused. It almost feels like a game to check off everything and organize it. I don’t usually sit down to write reviews but the amount of work the developers have gone into resurrecting this app into its evolved form deserves all the appreciation and praise. Amazing! I’ll continue to use this app for years to come! ♥️.Version: 2.0.2

Simple & FastReally nicely done. Simple, fast, intuitive and elegant. Perfect for list making on the go, very quick to make add, delete and reorder items. It's not feature rich, but that's not the point. I use this app everyday. A no brainier for $0.99. The only feature I would like to see include would be a 'share' list option. So that I could send the list to other people with this app or as a text file via email..Version: 1.1

Close Shave..!Wow, that was a close one. I’ve been using this app for a couple of years, and always loved it. Simplicity was key, and I used for everything from shopping lists to meeting minutes. Recently however, it fell behind the latest iOS update, and became a nightmare. I logged on now to leave a sorrowful review and delete the app as it was unusable, only to find a message saying the problems had been fixed just two days prior. I check the app, and Yay! Everything restored to its former glory. Glad you guys are back on track. Keep up the good work!.Version: 1.7.9

Awesome! In an overpopulated market of productivity apps all claiming to be your final all-in-one solution, Clear is a diamond in the rough! It stands the test of time and proves to again find innovation in a stale environment. Version 2 is no disappointment… give it a try! You won’t mind its simplicity while staying true to the concept of being a pleasure to use. I don’t know if/when all the beta features will make it into the app (for instance list sharing), but Clear will still be in my favorites list nonetheless..Version: 2.0.2

Simple and effectiveHowever transfer between lists would be nice, as well as undoing a deleted task.Version: 1.1

Awesome!Simple and near perfect reminders / lists app...use it all the time. Works great with the companion mac software. The team behind it are also very receptive to feedback. Highly recommend!.Version: 1.4.3

Love this app !Please keep on pushing updates ! This is the best todos app.Version: 1.7.10

Great, simple and functional appA really useful application for basic organizing, especially for forgetful types like me so I am rightly giving it five stars. In future I'm hoping that they add the option to have another level of lists (ability to create lists within lists) i.e. make a list school work, then have due Friday and within that section list the work due on Friday. Hint hint much, lol Thanks for giving my iPod that much more organizational power :).Version: 1.0.1

Clear - excellent!Superb app used every day. Two wish list items - more themes; an easy way to transfer items between lists. Otherwise it's a MUST HAVE!.Version: 1.1

Longtime userBeen using Clear a long time, mostly for grocery lists, but it’s expanded over time to other things. I like the recent addition of headings within lists, but wish they were more dissimilar visually - different colored font, or maybe have the list items indented? Another quirk of mine is that I want to keep crossed out items, particularly on my grocery list so I can re-add staples without having to type them again. But I’ve accidentally wiped out all the crossed out items several times! Would like to be able to undo that. And w/regards to headings, it would be nice to have the crossed out items stay under their headings - but that’s probably too much to ask….Version: 2.1.6

Update deleted all my lists!!Just updated the app and lost a massive amount of lists!! CMON YOU GUYS. NOT COOL AT ALL..Version: 2.0

Actually using itLoving it. This is a fresh and winning approach to the 'to do list'.Version: 1.0.1

Wonderfully Clear!I have used this for several years now to track special projects that I am doing. It is the easiest and most clear to do app I have found. Please don’t discontinue this tool as I have 5 years of history using it. I live and recommend it..Version: 1.7.11

10 years on and still can’t do without itI don’t think I’ve ever written a review for an app, but with the new update I had to. I can replace every app including my banking apps, but can’t do without Clear, not even exaggerating. Plenty of others have tried creating a “To Do” list app including big names like Microsoft & I have tried almost all of them you can name, none comes even close in clarity & intuitiveness. Not cluttered by “extra features” and not hindered by lack of capability, this is the one app you need to tame to your many lists and have them under your finger tips when need them. I’ve been using it for so many years and was really upset to see diminishing support, but now the support is back! only complain I have is, please let us pay you to keep the support going! I’ll be more than happy to pay for every new version once a year. For now I just purchased all your sound packs (although I don’t use sounds) as my way of saying thank you and to support the team. cheers!.Version: 1.7.9

Fantastic! And with a few tweaks...Love this app! I use it every day and have done for many months: from long term goals to temporary lists I might need for just a few minutes. iCloud syncing works well between iOS and OSX; though sometimes it inexplicably turns off and asks to be re-enabled (I haven't lost anything once they re-sync, though). Very aesthetically pleasing. Two features would be welcome to me: 1. The ability to nest lists within one another (e.g. Shopping>personal/work/long-term) 2. Select list/lists to show in Notifications Center without needing to set a reminder; and be able to compete tasks from the Centre (say, by ticking a box on the right of the item ('agenda+ | calendar & reminder widget' does this really well). So a new menu in the settings layer where you can select which lists to show in the center would probably do the trick. One final thing which would be nice but not necessary: different themes for each list as desired. This would work well if you could nest lists within one another. Overall I love this app, and as stated I use it very regularly. Hopefully you guys appreciate the constructive criticism and the praise :) Keep up the great work!.Version: 1.7

LOVE ITWell worth the wait - it's the best ToDo app around. Reinvents stale old GTD methods and creates a new, intuitive way of managing tasks. It's only a matter of time before the competition starts copying its tricks :).Version: 1.0

Most used appThis is my most used app on my iPhone. Have loved it since it was released. Have tried every major to do app but nothing beats the sheer simplicity, functionality and ease of use of this app. It was innovative for its time and hoping the renewed version coming soon will be equally brilliant. Well done team!.Version: 1.7.11

Anyone else having a problem syncing?Noticed the problem started 2/8.Version: 1.7.10

Working again! What a joy to open Clear today to pull out an old reference number that I needed, and to notice that I could add new items again. I just read the version notes. Thanks for not giving up on this app, team..Version: 1.7.11

It’s the best! One of my absolute favourites. Simply perfect..Version: 1.7.9

So glad it’s back!I had been using Clear for my shopping lists for years and was heartbroken when it stopped working after an iOS update. I lived without it for a few months until I just couldn’t stand the other app that I had installed to replace it. I checked back in the App Store and was extremely pleased to find the latest version of Clear that is 100% compatible with my iPhone - now also running the latest iOS version. What was already the easiest to use list app is now easier still with the newer features and the iCloud integration with my iPad is spectacular. I don’t EVER want to do without Clear again..Version: 1.7.10

IOS 16 problemNo more useful since iOS 16!!.Version: 1.7.8

New update makes lists fun!The new 2.0 update really brings Clear into a special place. It fulfills its primary purpose, but the new personalization and achievements take it to a whole new level. I use Clear everyday and now I enjoy it so much more. It's very easy to use (especially the bottom invisible back button tap) and making lists is actually super fun now. The Clear team should be extremely proud of the app they made, and you can tell it was make with hard work and love. Get this app now and support them through the in-app store, treat yourself to a new fun theme!.Version: 2.1

The best todo app of all time10 years ago I fell in love with this app. The team have kept the spirit of the original while introducing a richer, more capable version. Kudos to them, it’s still undeniably Clear..Version: 2.0

My fave appBeen using since release and I'm so happy we ARE SO BACK.Version: 2.2

Awesome appThank you so much for the Dec 22 update. When the app stopped showing what was being typed I was heartbroken. I’ve been using this app since forever ago and figured it had finally died after all these years from the latest iOS update. Then suddenly it started working again and I ran to the App Store and was pleasantly surprised that it’s still being updated after all these years. Talk about fantastic long term support! You guys are great and this is hands down the best todo app ever made..Version: 1.7.9

Worth the waitBeen waiting for this app since I've seen the online ad. Money well spent. Makes me want to list my to do's just so I can use the app. Amazing UX..Version: 1.0

App sizeNice app. I love the update but app size needs some adjustments..Version: 2.1.6

Great appGreat app. It has been very well designed to be super efficient and thats what you need in any ToDo app..Version: 2.1

Fun!As an AuDHD person, while i hyper fixate and dive deep into researching and finding hidden gems in apps, i rarely maintain focus for any time after i find all the rewards and fallacies. this seemingly simple list maker has kept me coming back and exploring by allowing me to find the methods instead of putting them on a dish and sliding over to me. there was some frustration with the different unexpected style of learning, but once i realised how it was keeping me interested i was hooked. the colour schemes and personalisation available via rewards and challenges, makes my artist heart squeal with joy!.Version: 2.1.3

Does what it says on the box, very wellGreat, simple to-do list. Gesture-based function is still intuitive and refreshing even now..Version: 1.3.6

Beautifully simpleA fantastic looking and easy to use app. Does exactly what it needs to without any extra fluff. One of my most used apps. Please keep this going devs..Version: 2.0

Best app ever createdI’ve been using this app for over 12 years and it is my fav app ever.Version: 2.0

Essential appAs someone with a memory like a sieve this app has been life changing. And unlike pretty much every other list app, this is clean, simple and looks lovely. Of all the apps I’ve ever used this is the one that has had the biggest positive impact on my life..Version: 2.0.2

Great appIt's simple and easy and makes using a list app. Great stuff.Version: 1.0.1

Most useful app!Great app, very useful. But It would be great to pull individual clear tasks into a simple week calendar divided into days and hours. Something for the new app???.Version: 1.7.11

Only 1 complaintLive this app! Easy to use and very handy! My only complaint, it's too easy to delete something off your list by mistake when using the side swipe option to switch between lists!.Version: 1.3

Awesome!Loving Clear! The gestures are so Intuitive, the UI really clean and the sound effects are Pure Awesomeness. I keep making up list of things to do, just so I can keep playing with the app. Congratulations to an App well done..Version: 1.0

Basic yet efficient.Pretty addictive. I use it all the time for work. Nothing else is as easy..Version: 1.0.1

Great app, and developers worked hard to restore my lists after updateI love Clear and have been using it as my primary note app for many, many years. However, updating the app deleted almost all of my saved notes. Don’t update until the developer fixes this!! If I can’t get my notes back, it’s really going to hurt (and I’ll start using a different app obviously)… But I’m optimistic and will change my rating to 5 stars if/when they fix this and restore my notes. Update: the development team responded to my query literally within minutes and worked with me off and on over the past week to restore access to my saved notes. I really appreciate their excellent communication, attention, and efforts, and I’m excited to continue using this brilliant product!.Version: 2.0

Ten something years later, it’s still my favorite…I’m shocked this has so few reviews because I’ve literally used this off and on for ten years & nothing compares. The elegance and simplicity of the design are particularly useful for anyone with ADD/ADHD. How many times a day do you reach for your phone to do one thing and then found yourself doing something else, only to ask yourself ‘what was I about to do?’ When I use this consistently, I find myself doing that far less. Paper lists are great for ADD folks, but you have to keep up with a pen and paper, whereas we always have our phones on us. Swiping complete on this and seeing the completed items is particularly useful for grocery lists as another reviewer mentione, as well as recurring to do’s. It’s also the closest you can get in the digital realm to the satisfaction & sense of progress of crossing something out on a physical list. Before my children too over the iPads, I loved the ability to sync across devices. I’ve come to appreciate its visual simplicity even more as I reach the dreaded ‘where are my reading glasses?’ era of my life. I am so appreciative that they’ve done the update to keep this app alive as our devices continue to evolve. Thank you to the creators of this app and to those who keep it rolling 💞.Version: 1.7.10

Fixed finallyI don’t realize how good this app is until i search for a replacement and can’t find one. Glad it was fixed because the competition sucks. This issue was fixed: Text disappears and Crashes when trying to type new entry. Completely unusable..Version: 1.7.9

ExcellentDoes simple things really really well, made me realise that complex task managers often cause more drag than they're worth.Version: 1.6.1

Simple and PowerfulHighly recommended if you want a to do app that lets you get to doing..Version: 1.4.2

YES.I remember downloading the original Clear years ago. It was the first third party app that really blew me away. (I remember Mailbox, too!) I was a beta tester for years and can’t live without it. I use it everyday for notes (using the different heading sizes) to creating throwaway list of things I have to do in the moment (adhd anyone)? I’m so happy the public version is finally here! It runs smoothly, the UI is snappy and gorgeous to look at. I love all the customization options. Thanks for bringing it back!.Version: 2.0.1

IndispensabileSimple, elegant, and downright essential to anyone's phone. Perfect for organising anything from a shopping list, to important tasks to be completed over days, weeks or months. Only wish it was Windows compatible....Version: 1.7.4

Amazing. Simple. Smooth.I have been using this app since I got my first iPhone which was the iPhone 4 at the time. It works so cleanly and smooth. I like how it isn’t cluttered with a lot of extra features I don’t need. I admit I looked for another app at some point when there was a bug and no update for a while, but I couldn’t find anything I liked as much, even with the bug. I was so happy when the latest update/bug fix finally came out. It’s so easy to use. I don’t want to use anything else..Version: 1.7.9

Clear App….Excellent app for organising & sorting out your days or plans. Been using it for a good few years now, but the latest version 2 has taken it to a different level. It’s Definitely worth trying. You’ll def get hooked..Version: 2.0.2

So close to perfectI've tried a bunch and this is the most pleasing, even if I wish there were a couple more features - start dates for example..Version: 1.7.4

Clear 2 is a treat for my ADHD!I’m 1 more person who’s used Clear off/on for the last 10 years, and seeing an article about its relaunch piqued my interest. Upon re-opening my old friend Clear, I’m BLOWN AWAY with the “usual” interface … with sounds? I open the main menu by tapping the screen’s bottom, and I see new options visible to my 55yo eyes & lifelong ADHD can see … and I start to comprehend all the customizations I’ve heard about. Kudos to the team for an update that’s as fresh & intuitive as the initial app!.Version: 2.0

The best!I’m so happy the slight bug is fixed. I’ve missed this app. Downloaded other ‘to do’ list apps and nothing compares to the ease of use of clear. Thanks team..Version: 1.7.9

Favorite iPhone AppI’ve been using Clear daily since version one (how many years ago?) and have been using the beta since it was first available. This is absolutely one of the most enjoyable and satisfying apps I’ve ever used - wonderful UI and interactions. I’m so glad the devs kept at it and released version 2. It’s better than ever. I really enjoy all the customizations. I also have high hopes for the revenue model. Some have complained that the $2.99 for a customization is a bit steep, but come on. This app has been out and free for over a decade now. And most of us spend nearly twice that on a cup of coffee regularly. I’ve already bought several customizations, and I hope others will see the value and continue to support this app. Again, I can’t say enough about how much I love Clear. It has made me a life long “lister”. Here’s to the next decade plus….Version: 2.0.1

Still my go to To Do appI bought this 10 years ago when it first came out. It has just been updated to work with iOS 16 and it still going strong. Great app - a must for lists. Simple to use and easily visual..Version: 1.7.9

Love this App!I’ve always loved this app. Simple to use and does exactly what I need it to do. And now it’s free and has some great new features and personalisation. Makes ticking off lists a joy whether I’m out food shopping or reminding myself of important things..Version: 2.0.2

Why did it take so many years? It’s a great app, but why did it take YEARS to finally get a new version, when the previous one stopped working in iOS 16? It’s a todo list, not an operating system. Again, great app, but Impending has to be one of the slowest developers of all time..Version: 2.0

Aesthetically stimulating!! Functionally beautiful!!I absolutely love this app. The development behind it is completely beautiful. It's gesture-fun and the developers kept a simple scheme to it. A perfect example of form and function with a very nice minimalist design. This app and Apple's also beautifully designed Reminders app are the most used to-do applications on my iPhone. This app defines what Apple design philosophy is, and this group executed beautifully. Now all the need is some push notifications that include location and time based notifications and they are set. Hopefully they have a innovative and fun way of implementing it. That'll get them the fifth star..Version: 2.0

Worth the wait!Clear is one of my favorite apps that I have used probably most days since 2012. I was so happy when the 2.0 rewrite began though I was worried that it may not be able to live up to the whimsy and utility of the original. Having used the new version for the past few days, though, I see those fears were unfounded and am absolutely loving the new version. The app is so fluid and simple and beautiful. I do miss some of my previous themes like the Temple Run and Letterpress ones but Heatmap is great too. I want to ensure that Clear remains financially viable for the devs - hopeful about the theme shop but consider tips or a yearly subscription (saying this as a subscription-hating person but Clear gets a unique exception from me) if needed. Thank you for all pf the great work!.Version: 2.0

Simple = brilliantFinally a great to-do list app in the app store. I don't understand all of these people that are complaining about no date or note features, that is what seperates this app from all the others, its so simple. It's simplicity is what makes it so brilliant, so many to-do list apps become so arduous that making a to-do list should be on your to-do list. That is not the case with this app and I highly recommend it to anybody who wants something smart and practical..Version: 1.0.1

Putting the excitement back into getting things done! Not only is Clear a focused to-do list app, it also has an almost video game level of excitement to the interface. At first the purely gesture based interface is a bit alien. You look for model dialogs and check boxed. But there is none of those d fashioned interface ideas in this app. Like a good video game, once you learn the controls it becomes instinctive, fluid and very direct to use. Be warned, all your existing will begin to feel dated!.Version: 1.0.1

Simply the best app for todosI have used this app for years now. It has proven its worth way beyond the free price. Thanks for keeping it going !.Version: 2.0

I have been using Clear for years and I find it indispensable.I started with a “to do” list and gravitated to keeping all kinds of lists on it. For example, if someone that is important to me mentions something that they would like to have, I start a list with their name and “wants” as the title. For example, “Natalie wants”. When Christmas or their birthday comes around I know what to surprise them with. If I read about some particular lifestyle program that I want to implement, I store it in its own list so that I can give it a fair trial without cutting out something important. When the developer recently upgraded to the new version, my lists disappeared for a couple of days and I was shocked by the amount of important (to me) information that I had stored on this app. I also did not back it up, much to my dismay. Thankfully, my lists reappeared within a couple of days and now realizing how important this little storage system is, I am looking for a way to backup the vital info and cleaning out the things that have basically timed out..Version: 2.0

Clearly, the best To Do ListThank you for maintaining this app. Particularly the most recent bug fix. Didn’t realize how much I’d miss this app. It is one of the few non-native iOS apps I use daily. It is simple, elegant and beautifully designed. Quite frankly, the interaction design is superior (intuitive and fluid) to Apple’s own app. The one feature that would push this app to the next level is to copy a text-based list into clipboard and paste automatically as separate items..Version: 1.7.9

Simply brilliantI use this app every day, multiple times a day. I run a tight schedule, and this app keeps me on track. I write my weekly plan here, and strike things through when I’m done. The gestures make it so easy, and the simplicity of the interface is a breath of fresh air. Well done to the developers, I can imagine behind the scenes was super tricky, but all that hard work makes the user experience buttery smooth. Thanks for helping me make my life easier..Version: 2.0

Good list and task appEasy to use and attractive. Addition of reminders makes it far more functional. Reminders are very easy to add and change and remove..Version: 1.4

The. Best. It’s a simple but powerful layout and operating system with easy gestures and uncluttered and nothing superfluous and… I use it everyday and have for years. I find it the best task organised on my phone..Version: 2.0

Clear is a Life Changing App!You have got to download and try this FREE app - it is amazing! I have been using the Clear App since 2012. The new 2.0 version is the best yet. I have downloaded and tested just about every productivity app, and have found Clear to be the easiest to use, most visibly clean to look at, and my daily go to app for all of my to-do items, thoughts, notes & brainstorming. The team of developers are responsive and have done a phenomenal job improving upon an already exceptional app..Version: 2.0

Best list app I've used! The others are great but this is just incredible. I can't believe how fast it starts! Wonderfully & effective simple UI..Version: 1.3.6

Unsung HeroI’ve had this app since it was a weekly Starbucks freebie (yes, that long) and it’s still the most useful productivity app I’ve ever come across. It’s simple but effective. It helps me prioritize tasks and keep track of long term vs short term needs with different lists. The color gradient is a subtle yet effective tool for my brain, which I would even have thought of. I tend to get overwhelmed and don’t know where to start on my mental lists. Being able to drag items around to prioritize and visualize where I am is so helpful..Version: 1.7.11

Thank you for the Dec 22’ update!I LOVE this app. I’m reaching a point in my life where I need to write down most everything or I’ll forget. I use this app daily, several times a day, for work, for personal organization, even just musings that I don’t want to forget or look into later. I was worried updates were over and with the new iOS update that shut the app down every time you made an entry, my heart sank thinking that was the end for this app. So glad it’s not. It’s easy to use, ready to jot down quick ideas, can organize those lists, and do everything other note apps make additional steps for. Someone like me, just needs lists. That’s it. I need to see my day item by item and organize them by importance - and I’m golden. Thank you again!.Version: 1.7.9

Apple Watch version please!!I want to keep using Clear exclusively but I also simply need to be able to navigate to an item on my watch just to mark it complete (and please include a watchface complication, even if it’s just a logo launcher). I would subscibe or in-app purchase this functionality. My app Review: Clear is the most elegant to-dos app yet designed. It has stood the test of time. The design is so clean it’s practically art. That yummy-on-the-eyes form follows its function and leaves out everything you don’t need. You can plan entire projects within while also having a main regular to-do screen. None of that ability is complex to behold. Perfect app..Version: 1.7.11

Great interface, fastThis is a speedy little app, that does exactly what i need it to. It can handle hundreds of reminders in dozens of lists without a stutter, which is a lot better than most task list apps - and oodles ahead of the native Reminders app! The swiping gestures are easy to get used to, if a bit awkward at first, and really add to the speed with which i can create new items or move between lists. Icloud sync with my ipad is a bit slow, but i only ever use it on my phone so all good. I do find the colour themes a bit tacky and few interesting choices. But the app overall looks good..Version: 1.3.6

Updated thanks you guysThanks now text work’s again with IOS16.3.1 thank you so much the app’s been a fundamental part of my organisation for over a decade! Kudos team.Version: 1.7.10

Easy to use, syncs with iCloud, lovely UII use this app for to do lists, reading lists, movies to watch, groceries and a whole lot more..Version: 1.7

So happy they fixed the bugThis is still the best to do app for me. After realising it had a bug on iOS 16, I did search for other to do apps but realised they were not the ones I want to use every day. I ended up creating and editing todos without seeing them for a long time. Really happy that I can use it properly again..Version: 1.7.9

Thank you for the update!! This app is essential!I have been using the Clear app since 2012. I don’t expect it to do everything but for keeping quickly entered lists, it’s perfect. Shopping lists, gift ideas, quick to do lists, etc. Best thing about the app is it’s elegant simplicity! Once you know the gestures which are all pretty easy, they’re second nature to use and mostly swipes, so easy one-handed. One of my favorite features is that I can bring back a completed item with a swipe, so when I’m picking of groceries, I can see what I bought before and quickly throw some of my staple items back on the list. The app broke with iOS 16 and I desperately pleaded for an upgrade (along with everyone else) and finally gave up after months of waiting and switched to using Notes (good but not perfect). I’m thrilled you guys have fixed the app! This app may be simple but it is one of the best..Version: 1.7.10

IncredibleI may sound silly but I’m not kidding clear actually makes me do the stuff I plan because using this app is just a pleasant experience. I am also an upcoming iOS developer learning swift and I am inspired to create things with this standard. Impressive work by the developers.Version: 2.0

My absolute #1 one app!Clear has lived on my iPhone home page Dock for over ten years and with this most recent major rewrite it has become even better and more powerful. Life is busy, attention spans are short and information comes at you faster than you can deal with. Having the ability to quickly create multiple lists that can be seamlessly moved and reordered, shared with colleagues and family, makes Clear totally indispensable. Its user interface is still highly innovative, easy and enjoyable to use. If you are looking for the best ToDo list app in the store then this is it. I would gladly pay an annual subscription however amazingly this app is free. The personalisation options seem limitless and I have easily now found the perfect layout for my own purposes. Give it a try. Highly recommended!!.Version: 2.0.1

Essential for ADHD folks like meFont size issue has been fixed with the latest update and devs are very responsive and seem to genuinely care about making the app better. Some of the changes have been an adjustment but ultimately I still enjoy using this app and use it every day. Highly recommend for anyone with ADHD like myself. I like getting thoughts out of my brain and into Clear because if I don’t I immediately forget about them. Really helps keep things in order and looks pretty and I can change the themes based on my mood and now assign different themes to different lists individually..Version: 2.1.1

Exactly what I've been searching forI bought 'Stripes N&W' thinking it was the best of the bunch for quick creation of stuff to note and do etc etc Then I saw MacWorld's gems for 2012, of which Clear was listed as one. So, I HAD to check it out. And I'm so glad I did. Wow! The only word to explain it for me. Wow! OK. So a few more to be helpful to others: simple. Colourful. Versatile. Listable. Changeable. Fast. Wonderful. If you're looking for an app that allows you to quickly note down a brief 1-5 word reminder or to do, within lists, like work, personal, shopping etc which is simple to work and understand, this is it, period!.Version: 1.2

😚👌They’ve only gone and improved on the original Clear app. Took a while, sure, but the result is a big chef’s kiss emoji. Looks great, feels nice, and free to use. The tucked away shop is hopefully small change tipping this app into a long and supported future. Would love the themes per list to make a return, the more lists I can theme, the more visits to the shop I’ll make. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 2.0.2

Making my life easierHave only been using Clear for a week but it has really helped me organise my work and home commitments, and keep on top of everything. Still finding new shortcuts everyday to make it easier to use. Haven’t found how to move a task from one list to the next as yet. Hopefully this is possible as it would be really handy..Version: 1.7

This app helps me every day!!!I am so grateful for the app’s repair after the iso 16 update. I’ve checked daily to see if Clear was going to be fixed and did not find that assuring. In reading your note about the anguish also affecting the developer, I now understand and appreciate you even more. From the lack of information about the effort to get the app operating, it was my expectation that Clear was just going to be abandoned. I now understand that you were working furiously to get it back in place. I use this exclusively on my iPhone and it works so well to not only provide a current to-do list but also my longer term memory for bigger projects to undertake. Once I found this app, I’ve never had to look for something better. It is easy to start with, and from there, add all the complexity you desire. Today’s check of Clear, finding it magically working, has me feeling grateful enough to write in thanks to the wonderful person or crew that fixed it!!!!!!.Version: 1.7.9

Great for ADHD, with one CaveatFluid and fast, just like the old Clear used to be. Perfect for an ADHD person like myself, allowing me to quickly get down thoughts as they come to me before they slip away again. The large variety of app icons, themes, sound packs, and quote packs available both as unlockable rewards and as purchasables in the in-app shop are great for ADHDers as well, as we thrive on novelty and stagnate without it. At $2.99 an item though the store can add up quick! My only issue with the app is the choice by the devs to again not include some way to make a list that can repopulate on a regular basis (daily, weekly, when completed, etc). This means if you have a routine that you repeat the same way each and every time, there is no easy way to just populate a list with set of pre-generated items and start checking them off. You have to either uncheck and reorganize everything you previously did (tedious and antithetical to the app’s design) or just retype a new list exactly like the old one and go from there (again, tedious and antithetical to the app’s purpose and design). That said, there is a workaround for this. What I do is type a list in Apple notes, then copy/paste it in into Clear Lists. The pasted items generate perfectly into the list I need each and every time..Version: 2.0.1

Best List App EverHave been using Clear for 8 years! Devs are amazing and the app is perfect.Version: 2.0

Brilliant AppI use this every day. It does one thing and it does it near perfectly. I feel it’s about time some of us paid for it again as I’d hate for it to go away..Version: 1.7.9

Seasonal updateAppropriately at Christmas time, this app has been resurrected to bring comfort and joy to all users..Version: 1.7.9

One of my most used apps!I didn’t realize how much I used this app until after updating to IOS 16 and the bugs showed up. It would crash easily and it didn’t look like an update was coming because it’d been so many years since one had come out. I tried other apps and nothing was as easy to use and helpful to me as this app so I figured out how to work around the bugs and made do. Now that they’ve updated it though it’s back to 100% functionality with the best UI out there. Thank you to the developers!!!!.Version: 1.7.9

Almost perfect..Very useful at the same time simple and easy to use! I just don't get why do we get popular quotes in our lockscreen shortcut instead of giving us on the spot update of our list?.Version: 1.7.4

RevolutionaryCould comment on what it doesn't do, such as iCloud sync or other features. Some people are complaining that there's a character limit on tasks. I think it's actually a feature... Kinda like the character limit on tweets, so you can't write essays about each task. Forces you to be short and precise. The interface and simplicity more than make up for the lack of features. In fact, the simplicity in part may be due to the lack of features. Now my number one used app..Version: 1.0.1

One suggestion. If I accidentally delete an entry by accident, there is currently no way of getting that back. Maybe using the "shake device" gesture as undo? Thanks. SUGGESTION Undef settings, please add a "disable pull to clear" feature - I want to keep my completed tasks but too many times I accidentally pulled and cleared the list. Thanks!!.Version: 1.0.1

Near-on perfectLoving the app, thought I'd blow 99c for the hell of it and give it a crack. Usability is great. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to us reviewers that are asking you NOT allow dates, reminders, repeats etc etc. Like someone said, there are plenty of apps that do that. The whole point of this app is to have something that you can jump in, type in "Email Bob", jump out and it's done. It's what it DOESN'T do that sets it apart from other apps and that's the reason I bought it. One suggestion: when I tap on a blue list to open it, I find I am constantly opening the 'edit' bit instead of opening the list. It would be great to make the majority of the blue rectangle respond by opening the list and only a small (icon-ed maybe) section to the left to edit the list name..Version: 1.0.1

Beautiful and usefulI've used this app for quiet a while and satisfied with it from the start. Simple and direct in terms of its use and functionality..Version: 1.7.4

Best app on my phone for nearly 10 yearsBeen using clear daily for almost 10 years and I cannot stress enough how great this app is due to its simplicity. I have used this app to offload thoughts from my brain every single day and it makes my life so much less stressful knowing I have everything I need to remember in this app. Great to see that the dev team has been working on the app, can’t thank you guys enough!.Version: 2.0

Very usefulEasy to use, no glitches, one of my most used apps..Version: 1.7.4

Best To-Do AppI’ve been using Clear for many years, and I was super excited to hear that they came back to remaster it. It’s a free app, and all of the advanced features are free as well. The only features available for purchase are cosmetic (themes, app items, sounds, etc) which is totally fine by me. The app encourages you to use it and for someone like me, I love being able to customize my organizational experiences. You can use themes to separate your lists and the cosmetics update and rotate very often so there’s always new content. Really love the team and they’re quick to provide user feedback. 10/10, thanks team..Version: 2.0.2

Aaarrggghhhh!!! Messing with a good thing!!Hey! I’ve been using Clear almost since it first came out (excluding a period when it didn’t play well with iOS). Loved it. Now, I have a couple of complaints. First, the list labels are HUGE!!! Even with the smallest (tiny) font. Please return to the original sizes. Second, it no longer shows number of items in a list. This was invaluable. Put it back, please! Third, swiping down to exit a list now requires swiping almost the entire height of the screen. This is difficult on the larger phones these days (and for us older folks). Thanks for updates but don’t change what worked. Just add the new features..Version: 2.0

Awesome peopleThank you Clear People! The fix is in and it’s working perfectly. Best todo app on the planet. Love your work. Appreciate your care..Version: 1.7.9

Beautifully SimpleI love this app, it simply captures those quick tasks you need to get off your mind in a beautiful way..Version: 1.7.4

Perfect to-do app for meIt seems people seem to either "get" Clear or not. Those that do seem to love it. I do, and I do. All the bad reviews appear to be from people who essentially want a different app: a full-featured to-do app like all the other to-do apps out there. Personally I never found one that worked for me until Clear came along. I love its simplicity, and the pleasurable interface. Yes, it's just a list ... exactly. A really usable and even fun list. If they were to develop an iPad version I would hope that it could sync over iCloud ... but it's just fine without an iPad version. As for reminders and nested tasks and all the rest of that rot, for me Clear is better for the lack of them..Version: 1.0.1

Great comebackHave used the older clear for years and while beta testing have seen how passionate the developers and team are on this new one. Many unlocks to be found and purchased for a very small amount. Needless to say it’s a great app and will be supported for many years..Version: 2.0.2

Great App, some improvements necessaryLove the App. Very easy to use and intuitive. Needs a big improvement. Please introduce a type of Master list. This master list would then allow the user to tag certain times in different folders so that they could also appear on the Master list. This would be a mirroring of items in other folders (not a duplication in terms of having to enter the item again). It would allow the user to have a Master list that they can focus on, say for today's execution. Each item (rectangular display bar) in all folders, including this Master folder could have a small shaded section on the right hand side that you can touch and it asks you whether to share with Master list. Similar approach for the items in the Master list except that the message would be to turn off the sharing. So, the same item could be essentially in two places. Once executed the task would be removed from both locations. This feature would stop the user from having to search through multiple folders to see what items at the top level need to be executed. Thanks..Version: 1.1.1

Gone PaperlessI’ve been using Clear for years, but was still addicted to paper lists, too. When the developers recently broke a long hiatus from updates and did a fantastic job of making all the right improvements and adding new useful features, I no longer feel the need for paper lists. I’m using Clear not only for all my lists, but as a calendar for keeping track of (and setting reminders for) appointments and events. I like Clear because it’s simple and intuitive, but also capable and versatile. Unlike most apps, features you don’t need/want are out of sight and don’t create complexity for the basic user. The ability to highly personalize the UI using a huge library of color themes and icons makes it really fun to use. Try it - you’ll like it!.Version: 2.1.5

Good but couldve been betterPerhaps an alarm function could be added so users can set how long each task is going to last.Version: 1.0.1

Simple and beautifulUnlike most other to-do apps, Clear is minimalistic and uncluttered, just the kind of thing I need to quickly make a list of things I need to do. The sounds are also super cute!.Version: 1.7.4

Simple, PerfectThis list app is so simple and quick to use that I actually do use it. Other list apps may provide more features but that's what makes them cumbersome to the point where they stop being useful. Get this one, you'll use it!.Version: 1.2.1

It has been revitalised!Hands-down, the most enjoyable todo list app I’ve ever used. Though it’s bitter that this reincarnation of Clear seemingly lacks a Mac app at the minute (or syncing between devices), I love that it now feels loved & maintained; rather than an app I shouldn’t touch anymore because “who knows when it’ll disappear altogether and stop working”. Hopefully one day it’ll be sustainable for the developer(s) to re-enable Mac / multi-device use. Lists I’d made over a decade+ /appear/ to be intact and there in this new version. Thanks - to whoever’s behind this these days - for revitalising a neglected, fabulous concept of an app!.Version: 2.0.2

Beautiful and simple to use.Everything you want from a todo app: simple, fast, and easy. Clear is a ui revolution and it makes managing todos less timely, so you can get on and actually do stuff!.Version: 1.0

I had high hopes. This is a nice and unique little app. It takes a bit to get used to the gestures but when you do, it makes sense and is easy to use. One big stumbling block for me is that it doesn’t sync with iCloud. This was removed for some technical reason. I constantly switch between iPad and iPhone so unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me. If you just use one device all the time this is not an issue. I like what they’ve done but it just doesn’t work for me. Thanks to dev for replying and explaining. Look forward to the day that sync is available..Version: 2.0.2

5 stars but…I've been using this new iteration of Clear for a couple of weeks. I really like it. But after using it for a couple of weeks although the app is great it cannot be integrated into my personal workflow. The sticking point for me is that it's iPhone only. The way I work I need to have task management and calendars available on every device I use which is iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. The disconnect of always having to use my phone in order to implement this lovely list app and task management app is a bridge too far for me. But I still love the app and if it can work for your personal use case go for it. It's simple and very satisfying It's definitely with regrets that I'm going to discontinue using it. It's just a matter of convenience that also translates into time management.Version: 2.0.2

It’s back, and going straight into my dock!Used this all the time, and glad to be using it again!.Version: 1.7.10

Fantastic app!I have to give this app 5 stars. Why? Because its just so awesome. It's so clean, has a great UI and performs really well. It organises all of your tasks into clear, easy to understand, much like bullet point lists of your most important priorities. It's so easy to use and is quite intuitive. It comes with instructions when you first use the app. But really, you don't need them. It's just so easy!.Version: 1.0.1

Love it... ButLove this app, but I'm not much of a to do app person. That said, I am finding it easy to start using it. 5 stars. Looking forward to some more features like iCal syncing etc etc. Congrats. Oh, and cheers for giving it to NZ first. We love that..Version: 1.0

Great Foundation to build upon. This is a good program but it needs more features added to make it truly wonderful. There are many reasons that people create lists and they often go well beyond short term to-do lists. I would love to see an option to write protect a list, even perhaps individual entries if that isn't overkill. An option that automatically sorts the list into alphabetical order. An "open in" option to send a list as a text file to other programs for editing. There lot's of talk from the developers about continually building this program, but in all the time I've used it I've seen very little. Excellent nicely intuitive program which is not like any other that I know of, and definitely worth owning. I wait in hope though for some more added features..Version: 1.3.6

Good to see you back…One of my favourite apps of all time from the golden era! Downloaded this over ten years ago and still love it. It never synced with my iPad at the time, but I didn’t care. I really hate subscriptions (yes, I know all the reasons why they exist) and think they’ve ruined the App Store experience, so I rarely visit it anymore, so it was a pleasant surprise to see a version update for Clear recently. For me, the best days on the App Store were back when Clear first arrived. The store was well set out and wasn’t a convoluted mess like it is now, and you could still buy 99% of apps outright. Saying that, I would be perfectly fine to pay for upgrades or maintenance every now and then to help support the developers. I know there would be a few customers who would jump up and down about it “when they’ve paid already”, but it could be a good solution in the long run. Think of it this way: if you buy a car, every now and then it needs a service. Same goes for an app. Anyway, well done..Version: 1.7.11

Apple Watch VersionBeen using Clear for years and love it, Any chance of an Apple Watch compatibility?.Version: 1.7.10

Best To-Do app. Back and Fresh as heckI have loved Clear for 10+ years and it stands as the most life-changing few dollars I have ever spent. For the love if all that is holy, download it and see what you’ve been missing..Version: 2.0.2

Simple & ElegantI have been looking for a simple yet elegant list making application. So many apps don't seem to allow you to do the most basic type of list. This app allows you to make a list and have a sub-list within that list. Seems pretty simple but hard to find an app that does it easily and well. The apple watch app is a MAJOR bonus. Highly recommend. My one recommendation would be to add a (+) button and a back button for those who would prefer a more conservative UI. I like the pull down method personally but I can see others preferring a more conservative UI. Regardless, once you get the hang of it, so easy to use and does what you want it to do..Version: 1.7.9

Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower. This is the leader of all To-Do apps forgone reason: innovation. The UI is breathtakingly new, yet so easy to navigate and utilise. Must buy, even of you already have Things or Omnifocus like I do. This fills a different niche and is truly one app every iPhone needs..Version: 1.0

So happy this app is back!Hands down the best list app ever made. It’s beautifully simple and incredibly intuitive to use. I’ve been using this everyday for years so was very happy to see some of the bugs fixed and the app back to full strength. It’s like Christmas has come early.Version: 1.7.9

Ahhhh10 YEARS AGO…..Yes, this app is a breakthrough for me, a little frustrating at first, but once you get used to the radically different interface it becomes the easiest todo organiser I've ever tried. A longtime satisfied rapidweaver user, this app does not disappoint, thanks realmac. TODAY…. 10 years on and I’m thrilled to see this app finally being re-released. I love the Font Size options, and everything you are doing, but like many others, my only gripe is the discontinued SYNC capabilities. Using the Mac desktop enabled me to manage a vast array of lists, cutting and pasting or dragging and dropping list items or complete lists. I, for one, would be happy to pay 💰 for Syncing across devices, even without any of the other improvements you’ve made. Perhaps add a PAID TIER, the provides robust syncing functionality, Maybe polling the current and previous users to find out if they’re willing to pay would reveal a lot of people with the same attitude as me 🙏🏼🤞🏼.Version: 2.1.1

It was once great! UPDATE PLEASE!This used to be one of my favourite apps, simple & easy to use. However since recent apple updates it has fallen by the wayside. It’s no longer reliable, sometimes if you go in to edit a list it will completely disappear which is very demoralising as, if you’ve got a lot of lists, you are unsure of which one has gone! Also since iOS 16 you are unable to see what you are typing until you’ve finished. I’d love to see this app updated for iOS 16. It really doesn’t need anymore features & I'm sure the developer could still sell this app once updated. Update please 🙏. If it is updated I will change my review to 5 stars! ⭐️ Edit - it’s now been updated & is great, however please bring back adding more to the list by pulling down directly from your last input, this was a good feature but you now have to click off it to add another item which takes extra time. Thanks developers for a great updated app!.Version: 2.1.2

Working again!I thought this app had been abandoned but it’s good that it’s finally been brought back to life. I used to use this all the time and will make use of it again now that it’s fixed!.Version: 1.7.9

Have always loved this appLoved this app when I got it when it was very first launched. And can’t fault the changes and updates that have happened and also love this newer shinier version..Version: 2.1.5

Fun & SimpleClear is an amazing app to quickly create and organise lists for practically anything. The endless and constant updates to the themes, icons and rewards make it a pleasure to use visually satisfying..Version: 2.1.2

Seems it’s not End of Life software after all :-)So happy that the problem with creating new tasks has been resolved. I can now go and delete the umpteen other products that I’ve been trialling and return to using the simplest and most intuitive to-do list app there is. Thanks for keeping this app going for a bit longer… 👍🏼.Version: 1.7.9

Intuitive, beautiful app!5 stars! Here is hoping they build sync to iCal then I can ditch Things..Version: 1.0

Simple is BestAmazing app that’s stood the test of time for more years than most apps last. Thank you for making this true lifesaver! Has been essential in helping to clear my mind and prioritize the most important things, feel so much more productive when I make this a part of my day. Developer is super responsive and helpful! Only suggestion is to change the price on purchases to 0.99, I think people will be more likely to support the app at that price. For $2.99 I’d expect a whole theme package, not individual components..Version: 2.0.2

AMAZING Lists AppIt was great for years but is incompatible with the newest iOS versions. Technically, you can still add tasks but the text is not displayed until you exit edit mode. Which makes creating new tasks frustrating and makes editing existing tasks impossible. Super sad to be losing this effective, aesthetically pleasing list app. Update: Thank you so very much for the new and improved version. One of the best apps for lists out there—great UI, fluid design, nice customization options, the ability to purchase customized features along side fun incentives to earn customizations thru app usage—perfectly designed and executed for smart phones..Version: 2.1.2

Handy appThis is my go-to list app. Highly recommend. The update is a mixed bag. It lets you move stuff from one list to another which is a HUGE improvement. The “bigger” theme just takes up real estate without adding any real value. I’d rather have a few extra lines of my list visible than a huge title banner. I know you can change the font, but the title stays massive. I can live with that stuff though. The main disappointment is the gestures. It’s gone from a one handed app to a two handed one - unless you can hold your phone while pinching the screen with two fingers. I know I can’t. <sigh>.Version: 2.0

UnderratedPeople leaving negative reviews on this app are complete dummies. I’ve been using this app everyday for YEARS, and I couldn’t be more thankful to the developers. And regarding the new updates, once again, people are complete dummies. Baseless complaining when anything changes from what they’re used to. The new update is functionally better in every single way. It’s more responsive, customizable, and “juicy”. I’ve never left a review on anything. Just get the app already, you won’t regret it..Version: 2.0

Works great for my needsEasy to use and intuitive. I mainly use for shopping lists, to-do lists, and trip packing lists. Clear makes it easy to add, check off, or remove items from lists. Tons of customization options available for free and purchase too. The only feature I’d like added is syncing, which the very responsive developer said they are working on, and my only criticism is the font sizes don’t really match their descriptions well. The scale is just odd, skewing larger than expected..Version: 2.0.2

Great in its simplicity!Use it for a lot if things... Work and personal. Really satisfying when you tick an item off!! More satisfying than any other list app out there. Love it! Would prefer if somehow you could sequentially add items down in the list without having to go back to the list itself or add upwards... More logical when adding lots of items to go downwards. Can you please make an iPad version that syncs together with iPhone/other devices. Thks.Version: 1.0.1

Simply the best list app everSo pleased to have this app in my life. I use it everyday to make order from chaos..Version: 2.0

So happy this is fixed - best to-do list app there isTried to find a replacement when this wasn’t working due to the iOS update, but nothing compared to how good this is to use. Simple, intuitive and does exactly what it’s meant to well. Delighted to be able to use it again..Version: 1.7.10

An update :-)Thank you for the recent bug fix. As much as I love this app, I had stopped using it due to the bug and because updates were way too infrequent. Frankly I didn’t expect a fix. None of the substitutes I looked at offered near the simple, intuitive and fun interface you all created with CLEAR. You’ve got a gem here that we all love. Please keep polishing it :-) it’s been so long since I started using CLEAR I don’t recall if it was free or subscription. I’d happily pay a subscription fee in exchange for regular updates and to support you..Version: 1.7.9

The best lists app is back!!!So glad Clear is back. This is the best lists app for iPhone. So easy to add your lost then tick off the actions or items with a swipe, and all the items stay available for next time. I use it for travelling, packing, weekend chores, shopping, and planning small projects. Great to have this companion on my phone..Version: 2.0

BeautifulOne of the most delightful pieces of software I have had the fortune to use..Version: 1.7.4

Great funThis app looks great and is fun to use! Yes that’s right, a fun to-do list app! I don’t really have many to-dos at the moment but I keep coming back into the app to collect the little icons, themes and bonuses and to read the quotes and admire the design. The design and the content make it really enjoyable to be in the app and the way the team working on Clear are able to find a new spin on themes, icons and so on is really imaginative and creative. Small requests would be for iCloud sync and also to sync with the standard Apple reminder list if that is possible (I have some template lists in there which I couldn’t move over to this app but would love to swipe them off in Clear with that very satisfying springy swipe.) Also, if you somehow made a calendar and/or email app that had the same level of ingenuity and fun as Clear does, then I would be all-in on that!.Version: 2.0.2

Forever My Go-To for To-DoI have been a loyal Clear user from the day it launched. And with the recent update release, it still has all the simplicity that I originally fell in love with and more. The different ways I can customize each list, the changes in icon which is fun and delightful, the shop that has new fun stuff I can browse with even daily freebies. The developers I fell in love with continue to deliver the no brainer, simple, elegant go-to app for all my to-dos. Thank you for simplifying my life and keeping me efficient!.Version: 2.1.5

Simply amazingOne of the best apps I’ve ever owned and now with the latest update (complications) has got even better. All todo apps should take note from this app. Keep it simple 😊.Version: 2.0.2

Once again the bestSo glad this app has been fixed again! My favourite app for making lists, it still hasn’t been beaten. A huge thank you to the developers for continuing to support this after such a long period of time, there really isn’t anything out there as quick, intuitive and pleasurable to use as Clear..Version: 1.7.9

Nice updatedAfter you shrink the font it’s a nice update, I would definitely recommend changing the default, it looks massive and a bit silly with the giant font..Version: 2.0.2

Great Product Now Getting LoveWas great before. Now is awesome. Many thanks to the dev(s)!.Version: 2.0.2

Need sublists please!I use Clear several times a day, and it is pleasant and quick to use. Excellent functionality, wonderfully attractive clear interface. I would love to be able to add sublists though - my lists screen has 30 entries and rising. Please consider..Version: 1.2

Simply the simplest, simply the best.Been using this app for around a decade and it’s always been there and use, never gave it much thought but so many apps have come and gone, but clear has remained in my dock as a critical daily tool. I’ve used this app from large projects to small daily todos, from shopping lists to entire home remodeling plans, and it’s been just what I need, no extra features that end up being mostly noise in the UI and just the stuff I need, organizing things in order of priority from top to bottom and reminders if I need them… it’s the perfect list app..Version: 2.0.1

My favourite app everI’ve been using this app for 12 years and it’s been a game-changer! With its functionality, indie charm, recent customization update, and the fact that it’s free, it’s become an essential part of my life. As someone dealing with chronic anxiety, it’s been a lifesaver for my mind. Easy 5 stars!.Version: 2.0.2

Life changingI'd always given up using other productivity apps because there was too much involved. Clear is so simple, so easy to use, a pleasure to use and I'm getting so much done!.Version: 1.1.1

Update Takes Some Getting Used ToTechnology evolves, and so must we. I will admit to leaving a hasty 1-star review before spending much time with the update. It is one of the first apps I open each morning, so the changes disrupted my routine. However, after making some adjustments and reacquainting myself with the new format, I was able to get back relatively close to the “classic” experience that I have loved for 12 years. The fact that I have been using it for so long on a regular basis is a testament to the necessity, ease of use, and usefulness of the app. I recommend this often and will continue to do so..Version: 2.0

So fast, so easyHave been using this app for years. Anytime I want a quick list I open Clear, and the brand new version about to drop is incredible. Well worth the wait!.Version: 1.7.11

The greatest app returnsAfter a long, long wait, my favourite app since the iPhone was invented is back in business and better than ever. If you’ve ever written a list, you need Clear..Version: 2.0

Most useful app of them allThank you for updating this app. I use it ALL the time for short notes/ to do lists/ medium term memory bank. So quick and easy to use! Highly recommend it!.Version: 1.7.9

Fantastic AppGreat to see that the app has been updated. Big fan, nice and easy to use! Thank you.Version: 1.7.9

So glad it’s back! This being back on the App Store has totally made my day! Never found a better list app.Version: 1.7.10

Improved in every way. Fun too.Not sure why so much hate, but fun to use and leaps and bounds over 1.0..Version: 2.0.2

What a lovely app!Simple, useful, fun. A fresh and unique take on the to-do list. Clear is easy to use, and strangely addictive. The sounds, while a minor (and optional) component, really add to the experience of just USING this app. I also particularly liked the use of quotes in the empty lists. Quite inspiring..Version: 1.0.1

My most favourite appThis app is helping me get things done by making it so incredibly satisfying to tick tasks off. I'm using it to track the most critical things I need to do each day, and it really helps me to focus on them. It looks great. It works. It's simple but that's to its benefit – not too many bells and whistles. I love it!.Version: 1.0.1

Alphabetized and searchable?I’ve been using Clear for many years and find it very useful and handy for various to-dos and shopping lists. I just wish there was a way to customize the list order ie; alphabetically. To be able to search items within a long list would also be a game changer. Thank you!.Version: 1.7.11

Very slick but needs task-deferral to keep your mind "Clear"The creators of Clear have made something that feels like a natural extension of your mind! - the UI is impressive... ...but they forgot that to keep our minds "Clear" (uncluttered) we need a TODO list that is also uncluttered - and to stay uncluttered without worrying that you'll forget important things you need to be able to DEFER tasks so they won't bother you until later. Take a look at what the "Orchestra" guys have done in their awesome new "Mailbox" app and you'll see what I mean... and I reckon that Clear's developers could do it even better. Hey guys - forget the feature requests for "reminders/alerts" - task deferral is something that would turn Clear into a totally killer App..Version: 1.2

GreatLove this app it helps with the lists.Version: 1.7.10

Good UI but lacking in featuresBest UI I have used for a todo list app. Clean an simple. The problem is it lacks the ability to do core reminder tasks like reminders..Version: 1.3.6

Fun :-)There are dozens of to-do and list apps in the App Store and I’ve tried and used a lot of them. There’s something about Clear that makes it stand apart from the rest. I’ve been testing it for quite a while, initially just out of curiosity, but I’ve grown attached to it over time. It’s a simple (and yes, “clear”) list making app and a to-do nag, but it has personality, and so do the devs. Kind of like the iMac was to the beige boxes back in the time of the second coming of Steve Jobs. You can certainly use a beige box if you want to, but wouldn’t you prefer something with a little attitude? That’s what Clear is - it’s a clean, simple list making/to-do app… but with attitude 🤘 Do yourself a favor - give it a try. You might find out (as I did) that there’s more than meets the eye!.Version: 2.0
