✓ RubbishNo tutorial and no hints, hard to understand what you are meant to do. Unresponsive on iPhone, tap randomly and if you’re lucky you might hit something. ✓ Nice graphics, irksome gameplayThe graphics are nice and the limited navigation works well. Putting a puzzle together between chapters was a relaxing interlude. However there are some basic game functions missing that eventually made me happy to delete the game before I’d finished. I paid for the game so why do I have to waste time collecting flies before I can get a hint? There are no hints for puzzles and there is no Skip function for those waste-of-time trial and error puzzles (or the spinning things I really have no patience for). Some pieces were so tiny as to be impossible to find on my iPad. Once, I got a hint and the fly showed me where an item was but I still couldn’t see it. I just clicked around until it showed up in inventory. Really not worth the work..Version: 3.4
✓ Not goodAwful to play on iPhone XS. Touchscreen is very unresponsive. Not what you want with a hidden object game. Also has these big brown borders framing the playing area. You can accidentally drag puzzle pieces under these and lose sight of them entirely. I had to restart a picture puzzle because I couldn’t find the last piece. Totally frustrating, avoid!.Version: 3.1
✓ Cannot get past level 4 due to glitch in jigsaw puzzleI put in a lot of effort to get to Level 3, and then it crashed and forced me to restart the game from Level 1!!! I am not spending time doing playing this game again to risk another crash. It’s a shame because it’s a really cute and visually appealing and calming game otherwise. EDIT: I caved, replayed it, got as far as finishing level 3 but then for some reason two pieces are missing in the world jigsaw puzzle - which means I can’t get to level 4. I’ve restarted the puzzle 3 times, and each time it’s the same result. Now this game has been deleted - ridiculous. Also I’m playing on an up-to-date IPhone 12 Pro Max..Version: 3.2

✓ Annoying on iPhone 12 mini.It’s really hard to get it to react when I touch things, or to drag things, and I gave up in the second chapter due to this annoyance. I would try something, get. I feedbacks be give up, only to find out I was doing the right thing and it wasn’t reacting. The sound only worked with headphones plugged in too. At first I thought there was no sound. ✓ Crashing at lvl 3I read reviews and this is not a new problem- I see it in reviews going back 4+ years. Game reaches a certain level after a lot of hard work solving puzzles and then crashes and makes you uninstall and reinstall and start from level 1 again. ✓ On an iPhone, the mechanics ruin itI wasn’t sure what everyone meant by the problematic mechanics until I was about 15 minutes into the game, but now I get it. Dozens and dozens of times I’ve tried to click on the right element, only to miss it by a few pixels at most, get nowhere close, and wrongly give up on the right solution. I think the ability to zoom or less sensitive selection would fix this, but as it is the game ends up being more about point-and-click luck or grinding. I wish I hadn’t spent money on this game and am deleting it. I’m giving it a second star because I think I’d love it but for the non-starter mechanical problems — it’s really too bad..Version: 3.1

✓ DisappointedI just bought this game 2 days ago... I really loved the graphics and finding things and games BUT.... here’s the bad. I did everything the walkthrough said to do and still sat with one of those little pipes left to find. Tried the frustrating hunt system and got no response. Tapped all over every inch of every screen and… still nothing. First, this game is marketed poorly. It’s 98% found objects nonsense and 2% weak and uninteresting puzzles. This game has the aesthetics of better games like Samarost 3 but lacks the quality and real art of those games. Clunk controls, items that are impossible to see (on an iPhone 12 Pro Max), and an obnoxious hint system make this game a waste of money, even if it was free. ✓ The game itself is great, but the controls are frustratingThis is a really good game, so far the puzzles are interesting enough to feel challenging. BUT, I can’t even make it past the first level because of the touch controls. Some of the pieces to the train are kinda off screen so it takes forever to move them. One of them is right on the edge of the screen and every time I touch it my phone swipes up and closes the app...Other pieces take forever to get to move, like the app isn’t responding to touch in some areas. ✓ Impossible on an iPhoneI am playing Tiny Bang Story on my iphone and like some other reviewers have had a lot of trouble. It was just an annoyance (the difficulty clicking small objects/objects near the bottom of the screen, puzzles restarting when I get a text) but now I have reached the ship puzzle. I can drag a line from ship to ship but it disappears as soon as I let go. I tried to find a solution online but all I could find was that you have to hold the left clicker down which obviously is impossible on a phone. Is this just a design flaw? Really enjoying the game with its beautiful graphics, chill soundtrack and clever puzzles but then I ran into the glitch in level 2 that prevented me from completing the game - the lamppost compartment that contains a marble will not open. ✓ Frustratingly unnecessary difficult to playI’m sure it’s a great game to play but it’s sooooo small it’s difficult to see the hidden objects. Plus the screen play is so unresponsive you almost have no idea if the object you’ve tapped is correct or not. Building the steam train for example the pieces are so small you can’t see exactly where you should be placing them, and then they get rejected because you weren’t precise enough. However, sometimes there are pieces missing and you have to start over, sometimes the pieces don’t move to your touch. This latest update introduced a bug on the iPad Pro that doesn't allow you to finish level 2. The elevator button doesn't work. I have to click on things many times before it registers, and dragging/dropping to an exact spot on the screen is impossible because I can’t see underneath my finger. ✓ Rating for play on iPhone: Impossible, don’t bother.This game is probably great on a larger device, but the controls are impossible to use on iPhone. First, they are clearly still designed for a cursor, so the UI elements respond to hovers, not swipes. For example: to open the inventory, you have to pretend to move a cursor from the main screen to the right margin and stop (“hover”) on the inventory, which then opens out into the main screen. That makes sense if you’re using a cursor. But on a touchscreen, that’s equivalent to swiping right on an element that opens to the left. To close it, you move the pretend cursor back to the main screen, essentially swiping left on an element that closes to the right. Second, the targets are still sized for a tiny arrow, not a thumb. I understand why: the art is so detailed that a target big enough for a thumb could activate three or four objects. Fair. But frustrating. And speaking of detailed art — make no mistake, this is a hidden object game, at least on an iPhone. It is almost impossible to see functional elements like doorbells and latches, much less the objects hidden inside. I’m sure this would be a fun game on a bigger screen. I just wish I had known it was impossible to play on an iPhone before I spent money on it..Version: 3.1

✓ Hard to tap on item using iPhone 11I enjoyed the idea of the game but got frustrated with how the game responds to taps. Sometime multiple taps were needed to select items. The other big issue I had with the game is trying to place items. My finger covered up items to place and it seems most things need a precise placement making me try multiple times. Also it appears the puzzle pieces collected throughout the game don’t have much of a point. Two levels I did not collect them all and I was able to complete the game. Once completed I figured it would give me a count on the levels and I could go back to find the missing pieces. Nope. Nothing. So in the end. Was the game fun? Yes. Was it worth the 5 bucks? Nope.
