✓ Switching back to WunderlistAs much as it pains me to write this, I have to switch back to Wunderlist ONLY because I've had so many issues syncing tasks across platforms. I love the fxnality of the app, but what good is a task list app that doesn't at it's core track your tasks no matter the device. I just had an instance where my tasks weren't synced between my phone and MacBook. Signed out on my phone, then signed back in. The app showed the tasks that I have on my MacBook but then deleted the tasks I had only on my phone. If they can solve this issue I'd be likely to switch back. Might even sign up for premium. If you're a user with only one device, this might be the app for you..Version: 4.15.2
✓ Misleading Calendar IntegrationThe app integrates with the calendar on your device, not directly to an email account on Outlook or Gmail. So I had to add the family email and calendar I setup to my iPhone calendar when I primarily use the Outlook app. Despite feature requests for this, the developer has closed those requests on their site stating the feature is complete when what has been added is not what most were actually requesting. On the positive side, the Alexa integration is fantastic. Would like to see more integration with Cortana. Lastly, if there is a way to add a to-do without having a due date or reminder set automatically I haven’t figured that out. I’m not finding it ideal that every grocery item has a reminder assigned to it. Would be nice if there was a way to set a general item list vs a to do list..Version: 4.20.3
✓ I could successfully delete this app free of subscription!1- If you want to choose different colors for tasks in the calendar, you should have to pay a lifetime monthly subscription! 2- The app imported all my tasks in reminder app and put them all in Today's category. And I had to delete more than 100 unwanted ones by sliding one by one as done tasks. No way to select and delete them together were found. 3- I don't know why app developers follow the fashioned way of asking for such subscriptions instead of selling them (when you can purchase a software/app there's no logical need for lifetime payment without any continuous particular service. Same as shopping a Microsoft Office software and use it forever). 4- With such circumstances I should appreciate it for letting me feel free to delete this app less than 10 minutes after installation and without having to pay subscription..Version: 4.15.2
✓ NopeSure this is a great app for some but if what you want is just a place where you can easily develop several simple, custom lists to help your current activities...this isn’t it. If you are not able to refer to a list without being prompted by messages, reminders, calendars on a regular basis, ok. ✓ Simple and usefulGreat app! I like the simplicity and find the four categories (today tomorrow upcoming and someday) along with the sublists and ability to set reminders really handy. The only downsides are that: (1) sometimes the text of a new item can be slow to show up, displaying as another item on the list (2) it can take a few goes to access sub lists at times (3) sometimes I have trouble putting the tasks in my desired order (4) the title text for "today" and "tomorrow" no longer display properly. If these issues were resolved I would give five stars. I'm not sure what the points achieved by crossing off items are for either..Version: 1.17.1

✓ Buggy and missing some fundamental functionsRepeat intervals could do with more options like fortnightly, every 1st Tue (or whatever day) of the month, set repeat end date. etc. Not sure what it bases the "Talk" link on - it's linking to people who have nothing to do with the task and I can't remove the person without replacing with someone else. Some tasks just don't need a "Talk" link. It's reset task dates rather randomly. Checked tasks a few days after I entered them and quite a few had been changed! Totally unreliable!! Also doesn't always arrange tasks chronologically. There's the odd one that's out of place and doesn't get rearranged even when updated. All in all a poor piece of software. :(.Version: 1.13.0

✓ Sad to say ‘goodbye”I’ve used this app for probably 4/5 years now but sadly have to bid it farewell. My issue started about 5 months ago (Dec. ‘20) whereby typing in tasks became a chore because of a seriously infringing lag, which today has become even worse (I basically can’t use the app anymore). The support team, over the years, and with this issue, have been 1st class. Communications are excellent and they really have tried their best to solve this issue. ✓ Better grocery list apps availableI only got this for a grocery list that would work with Alexa. My completed items kept disappearing but I like to use them to help remind me what I might need, I also wanted to be able to sort the list alphabetically without having to move each item manually. ✓ On the right track, love the core concept, sadly execution failsI've been using this app on and off for years, I keep trying other options, yet always keep wanting to come back due to the simplicity. The today, tomorrow, upcoming & someday approach helps me to keep priority without adding burden of dates and times (this is my fav feature). However sadly the following frustrations in day to day use keep me from returning permanently: 1 - Automatically remove completed tasks, rather than a two step process, this is such an odd decision, especially with things like shopping lists (support tell me no plans to change this feature). 2 - New features that are advertised don’t seem to show up in the app. For example drag and drop of sub tasks (with this feature sub tasks are useless), listed in release notes for months yet still no where to be seen (either in beta or normal release). Shopping list feature also still missing, but listed clearly in release notes. (Support told me these features are rolling out slowly, I’m not sure over months is within this definition). 3 - At least a passable desktop experience for windows and mac, not just a stupidly spaced out "web app" that doesn't make sense (support suggest this will be fixed in 2019)..Version: 4.21.0
✓ Recent update issueI've been using this app for a couple if years and would have rated this review with 4 stars. But the recent update has messed with my folders and there seems to be no way to fix this. Whereas my first two folders used to be labelled 'Today' and 'Tomorrow' (intuitive and logical) they are now: 'FIRSTINITIALFOLDER' and 'SECONDINITIALFOLDER' (what the hell?). Likewise, other headings within the app have their words run together into a semi-unintelligible mess. Is this some developer's idea of quirkiness, or branding? ✓ Way to much pressure to pay when you first start to use itPretty desperate they plaster pay now and 50% off for 10 mins when you just open the app it’s sad and desperate. No need to demand money so quickly as clearly it’s just a cash grab company Their justification is “just like many apps” which does not mean its right. ✓ Literally the perfect Agenda/Calendar/ List App… if only the developers would fix these bugs!I don’t know what’s been going on since recent updates, but it looks like I’m not the only one experiencing trouble where I add a task and it’s either gone the next time I open the app or in the completed section (hard to navigate btw) and then it will appear one week later out of nowhere! This is a huge problem since I rely on my agenda heavily for appointment reminders, birthdays—literally everything. ✓ Not bad, much better than vanilla RemindersI am seeing some bad reviews by people that say the latest version has issues. Since I just installed it a few days ago and sharing it with family devices, we think it’s great. It’s a much more elegant Interface with much more functionality than just your vanilla reminders app that comes with iOS. Yes, with a combination of the Calendar app and the Reminders app you get much of the same functionality, but not all. Plus the interface is significantly better. Great for families. ✓ One most important feature missedIt’s great app but how come they can miss one very important feature? If any of my task has notes and reminders why can’t I see which tasks has notes/reminders from the list view same like other apps like Things 3 are doing? ✓ Cancelling subscription and deleting appThis app has gone downhill in recent months which is disappointing because it had previously been very useful. Lately dates/times for a number of tasks and appointments have inexplicably changed which is completely unacceptable, this has made the app unreliable and unusable going forward. Also, the recent updates have made the UI less intuitive and the calendar freezes almost every time I try to scroll to the next month. For example: the '15th exam at 12pm' drag after the '15th return book at 1pm', the exam automatically changed to 21st... But drag 'exam' before 'book', date reminds 21st! Why? ✓ Good until Due Date featureReally good and clean app, even the free version... but the feature addition of automatic “due date” at 9am once the task is added, has really ruined it for me. I don’t want auto reminders. If there is away to not have them, it’s not intuitive and as soon as you move or update the task, the reminder is back on. ✓ Frustrated loyal customerThis has been my to-do list app for the last year and a half. I have created/deleted/shared many lists. But within the past 2 months the syncing issues are getting in the way of my love for the app. I’ll be using my phone for days at a time- only to log onto my desktop version and find 15-20 undone tasks that I completed days beforehand. Lists shared between family members aren’t syncing anymore either. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall. Every time. The grocery list needs work. I want to be able to drag and drop my groceries into other aisles. Again, more sync issues here too. If you have someone you share your grocery list with, be prepared for sync issues and for you both to come home with groceries you thought the other person hadn’t bought yet, since your any do lists didn’t sync 😐 For the record, our grocery lists synced for the past year, these issues aren’t connectivity based on our end. We have never had a problem with this until the past couple of months. I will say that developer support is decent and you will get a response if you submit a ticket. ✓ Best to do app, but...I upgraded to pro just because I do use this app all the time and want to help the developers keep being able to develop the app. I like this app the best out of the few major apps I tried out before. Other than supporting developers, the upgrade is pretty pointless. I thought at least being able to take pics as attachments could be useful to me, but the attachment function is terrible! It forces you to fit pictures into a square, and if you zoom in in the picture you can’t move to either side of the image. It just stays static. I want to use this to take pictures of handwritten notes or anything, really, but the cropping constraints render it almost totally useless!! Please update this! ✓ Please change calendar viewI think this app is absolutely fantastic for tasks, but lets itself down as a calendar app. The time slots are barely visible and it’s very hard to see if you are adding an overlapping event. I need warning of this in my old age as I don’t want to find out I should be in two places at the same time. I find I’m referring back to my google calendar to see the time blocks. I really hope this is something they change in the future - not great if you have poor vision. I would love to use this app for all my task and calendar needs. ✓ Can’t log in. Can’t reset password. Useless!I added this app as a skill for my Alexa Dot, and wanted to be able to use it across platforms so added the app to my phone. I was very excited that I would have something simple to add things my ADHD brain would have difficulty remembering. Too bad I can’t even log in! I use my phone’s password generator and with all of the security and privacy issues lately with Facebook I refuse to even consider using that to authenticate an account. When I try to come to the app to log in it tells me my email address and password do not match. So I tried resetting my password. It emails me a link that literally takes me to the login page! I tried it twice. Same thing happened. Can’t reset the password. Can’t log in. Completely and totally useless. ✓ Missing a couple things + bugI LOVE the “moment” feature so I keep coming back to Anydo to see if the missing features I need have been added. 1. There needs to be a way to see if a task has subtasks, notes, etc WITHOUT having to click on the task. Things get missed because I don’t know more info is associated with the task. 2. Moment needs to cycle through every single task. It seems to skip a lot of them. I end up doing the moment process multiple times to see everything. Also there may be a bug... I could not get the app to open today after I updated it. -1 for bug and -1 for missing features. Will update when fixed. ✓ Not a great app if you are a voice-over user!I was very excited to try this app after hearing it recommended on iOS today. Sadly, the accessibility lets it down. There are many unlabelled buttons; it can be impossible to go out of the page if you don’t want to make any changes; and it isn’t at all clear how to navigate the page effectively using voice-over. ✓ Used to mostly work, now unusableI’ve used the app for a few years now. I learned early on not to rely on its reminder notifications, because most of the time they don’t work (especially on repeating tasks). However, other than that, it was pretty useful. In the last couple weeks, though, it has become so buggy, it’s completely unusable. When I mark a task as done, it crosses out like it should, but then it just stays in place instead of moving to bottom of the list. When I press the X to remove it, nothing happens. I have to either switch to a different screen (say, the settings) or force-close the app and reopen it before it will update the list. When I added some new tasks recently, it took a couple tries before it actually saved them. And now I just realized that some of my tasks have disappeared entirely. I have about a half-dozen tasks that repeat every Monday. They were all there last week, but, as of today, all but one is completely gone. I hate to think what I might have put in there a while ago that might be gone now and I won’t even realize it until it’s too late. I don’t need an app that forgets the things it’s supposed to remind me to do. I can forget to do things all on my own..Version: 4.28.1
✓ It’s alright, could be brilliantSlick design, simple to use when actually making a reminder but for me I’d rather have my completed tasks moved to a ‘completed to do list’ section instead of having to cross it off and it still being there on the main page. Also, I think an option to have the reminder repeat itself rather than just one reminder alert. Should be an option to have the alert repeat itself like every 5 minutes until you physically check it off. Other than that it’s not bad. ✓ May finally be giving up on this appI really want to love this app. I keep it because I see such potential. However, the bugs that never really get fixed drive me insane. When I click on something I have to re-click because it doesn’t usually work the first time. When I move the order of the lists, a second later they are back to the original order. When I try to click to turn off the alarm notification I have to click multiple times before it takes and it usually causes another action that I didn’t want to happen. I considered it may be that I have the free version but other reviewers with the paid version have the same issues based on reviews. So I for sure am not going to risk losing money for the same issues to keep happening. ✓ Not bad but...It is simple to load and go. Most of it Is intuitive. I use it on an iPhone and a PC and that is where I have trouble. Any. do is very different on the two separate systems. The flow, functionality, use features are different between the two. For something so basic and has a monthly fee(I am paying for Premium) I would expect the integration to be closer to the same on the two systems, at least with the feature offerings. Additionally I keep getting reminders for items I have already delayed and also for ones I have deleted. So far I am receiving reminders on items I completed or deleted 4 or 5 days ago, could be me, but again the integration is not great for something I am paying for..Version: 5.24.2
✓ Unreasonable Customer ServiceI paid for the pro subscription because I thought it would do (simply) what I needed. It did not, and therefor I never used the app. When I reached out to cancel and have the amount refunded (during the pandemic mind you), I explained I never used the tool and that it did not do what I’d hoped. Here is the only response I received - “Per our TOS and as stated on our Help Center, we can only issue refunds for subscription payments that occur within 48 hours of your payment being processed.” Basically, they aren’t willing to do anything to help me (even though I’m certain they could). I prefer to work with companies that are willing to have a human approach to these situations, not companies that want to hide behind their terms of service as an excuse to take me money for nothing. ✓ Really wanted to like this appI truly wanted to like this app. It worked well at first and I spent a lot of time inputting my tasks and formulating lists and sharing with my fiancé. and then it started freezing and shutting down. So I contacted the developers and I had to open a new account with a new email because apparently Apple reminders was overloading the backend. So I did that. And it was working OK for a few days. And then my lists stopped syncing with my fiancé‘s lists. I contacted the developers and was told that the syncing doesn’t work great. And now the app is freezing and shutting down again. ✓ Very Buggy, Poor SupportAny.do advertised that they have a cross platform product. However, the web version of it is full of bugs and it is unstable. The service is quite poor. All you get is robot standard answers, and 3 days after I told them I deleted the app they were still sending me robot emails. I would have given it no stars if I could. ✓ GlitchyThis app has tons of potential but glitches with iPhone 11. Consistently auto enables alarms and sometimes won’t let you rearrange your lists. I tried to let them have enough time to fix it, but I’m moving on to something better. *update for developers : Auto alarms cannot be disabled, if they can it’s glitched and auto enables anyway. The real issue is that when you try to turn the alarm off, half of the time it doesn’t go through and you have to resubmit it multiple times - occasionally you can’t turn it off at all. The list rearranging bug I experienced yesterday WOULD NOT LET ME REARRANGE A TASK AS I NEEDED. The alarm removal glitch accompanying issues rearranging tasks is enough for me to use a different app. I have this months and it still has issues!!!.Version: 4.39.13

✓ Any do is going downhillWhen I first downloaded Any do about a year ago it was great! I loved having a calendar and to do list in the same app. However, in the past few months the continual updates have made Any do lose its functionality and become harder to use. I don’t like having to click so many times to switch between calendar and to do lists! And there are so many new features which just aren’t helpful and clutter the interface. And the bugs are terrible! At least half the time when I open Any do I have to force close the app and reopen because the calendar keeps loading as 2022 instead of 2023. Sometimes the calendar loads as 2012 or another random past year! Now my Any do widget on my Home Screen isn’t loading! ✓ It’s Gone DownhillI’ve used this app for a very long time. It used to be great. Simple. Streamlined. Intuitive. Then all the updates happened. Now when I add tasks it automatically is scheduling it? I have to shut OFF the time scheduler every. Single. Time. I. Enter. A. New. Task. Also, I keep two lists—school and home. Now when I click on the “School” list and am looking at only that on the screen, at the top it says “SCHOO” and then underneath that is “L.” Really? You can’t figure out how to fit that L up there? That’s worrisome. It’s no longer intuitively easy to get back to my main page where I can see all my various lists, either. I don’t know if it’s a new team coding the updates or what but it gets worse with every new iteration. I used to LOVE this app!!! Would love to share a calendar as well within the app so that someone can help assist with carer duties by taking someone to an appointment. Tasks can easily be created, but when you share them, it’s not easy to see who you’ve shared it with. I have a list with over 20 invitees and you can’t scroll down the list to assign the task to someone as they cannot be found. And when adding someone to the list after the list has been shared, you need to resend invites to everyone again? There’s no function to just invite new people to a list. And pie in the sky wish -- move the notes area up to sit under the title of the task or list. Notes describe what the list or task is. They should be further up. ✓ Used to be fairly solid.It seems like the developer's vision for what this app should be has changed recently and it's not congruent with the way that I use the app. I mostly used it as a way of having a coordinated grocery/task list with my family and it worked well for this and even had a specific list interface for groceries which was useful. I had my qualms with the app, but at least it functioned. Recent changes have removed these functionalities and changed everything over to a reminder list which is specifically what I didn't want and made this app just like others in its category. Hopefully the changes are working well for most folks but I'm going to be looking elsewhere now. Edit: Looked at what was advised by the developer in their response and was unable too resolve the issue. I've got a number of lists that are shared that were converted to regular lists and don't seem to be able to be converted back. ✓ Unable to make workI really liked this app when I initially downloaded it but that was incredibly short lived. I made some updates to my Google calendar and wanted to sync them over and it was pretty much impossible. I looked through all the settings, read the FAQ and couldn't find any manual sync option for calendars, only for the tasks. Restarting the app did nothing, I couldn't find a way to manually remove the calendars to re-add them either. I wanted to reach out to support but that also was a dud and felt convoluted and I'm still not 100% what the contact email is or if I have to pay the subscription o even try and get help with the app. Unfortunately I wanted to like this and it had great promise but there were too many barriers to entry within the first 30 minutes of me using it that I'll be continuing my search..Version: 5.34.1
✓ Great UX, DON’T BUY Daily Planner”PSA: This is a thoughtful review, both potential users and the app’s team should note it. Before anything bad, I’d like to say their organization and interface is awesome, it’s clean and logical, at least to how I think about task doing. BUT they try to fool you into subscribing to their “Daily Planner”... please do NOT do this. Once you use it once on the free version, you’ll notice that it doesn’t do ANY planning for you, it has you pick the time for the task manually (although it has some preset options)... so.. you’ve entered in the task, you’ve manually set it’s time.. why are you paying $5 a month ?? @ Developers, what should have been done here was use the same preset options: Morning, Noon, etc. then take those preferences and use them to organize the tasks into time slots. May not fit into user’s preferences perfectly but it could be really good. You were literally so close to making something awesome and worth real money but what you made was literally pointless and actually a burden to anyone who clicks a preset option for more than 1 calendar event because they need to go in and change that. ✓ Gone downhillI have used this app daily since 2007, I think. After 15 years, I can honestly say it is no longer a simple and reliable tool for productivity. After six weeks of working with their support team to try to debug the constant freezing and crashing issue on the app, they were quick to say goodbye when I wasn’t interested in discontinuing use of the app for days while they take their time to look into the issue. ✓ Strange todo appThis app has opinions. It thinks integration with everything is good, especially if it’s an app or service of dubious utility, or run by data pirates after plunder. It thinks grocery lists are by far the most important lists, and you should be able to get to them quickly from any screen. It has lots of features, but I’m not sure what they do. There’s a tag feature, but you only get one tag without paying $36 a year, and I can’t figure out how to filter with it anyway. Help is no help. There’s a focus mode but that’s premium too, so I don’t know anything about that. There’s icons all around the periphery of the screen, and some of them do things. You can look at your todo’s sorted by date or by project. There’s a panel on the left-hand side which lists projects (and grocery lists!) in big rectangles. It’s probably no fun if you have more than 6-10 projects. Oh, Projects may be lists. Or maybe some lists are projects. It’s all so hard. And pricey..Version: 5.0.2
✓ Constant discrepancies between shared listsMy wife and I both downloaded this as it works with Alexa for making a shopping list and the list is nicely broken up by category. I unfortunately we’ve had nothing but annoying issues for the past 6+ months keep hoping an update would eventually fix the problems we’re having as I really wanted to like this. Unfortunately there are CONSTANT sync problems and discrepancies with the list. ✓ Don’t buy this app!I made the mistake of purchasing a year subscription of this app and I am so mad at myself for doing so. I need something that works seamlessly between my phone and my laptop to keep tasks in order for work and it has been insanely frustrating trying to make that happen. The browser app deletes my reoccurring tasks EVERY TIME I complete it for a day. Some tasks just give themselves a new due date that I definitely did not assign them, and I can’t tag or share tasks with my team without those disappearing as well. ✓ It’s okThe best thing about the app is it’s connection to Alexa and Siri so I can add to my reminders and lists in one place and on the go. However, the bells and whistles stop there. I paid for the “premium” version with the misunderstanding that it would have a more robust calendar function. It doesn’t. ✓ Doesn’t really flow.I downloaded this app for one reason only. It works with Alexa. Ok, I said, ill give it a try, so I got it and signed up for a month of premium ($5.99) The rest of my morning was spent trying to figure the app out. After the first three crashes, it smoothed out. The UI is simple, white back ground- no Dark Mode. You have the ability to change the font color. The screen that allows you to show all of your calendar and to dos is a scrolling clunky mess. You can get this view from any app on the market. On the To Do side, adding them is simple- not by keyboard shortcuts, unfortunately (like CMD-N) Adding repeating events is very clumsy (this feature is only available with premium) The repeat automatically defaults to the present time with no way to edit this and you cannot go into a task and edit it to repeat- this has to be done during the initial task set up. On the to do page, it gets worse. In one view (on iPad) on the left is a list of My Lists- which cannot be edited- cannot remove a list..I turned off Apple Reminders, yet there is still a box there,unused, that I can’t get rid of. There is another tab for Tags, which are color coded. Nice, but when you add a tag to a To-Do, you only get the color- not the label for the tag in the To Do view. I’d thoroughly recommend anyone who is mobile centric to try it but just doesn’t yet work for me, I will keep an eye out for updates. Upgraded to the paid version after a while and continued to 5 star. Last several months I’ve started to think about dropping paid version and going back to free OR moving to something else. Syncing between ipad and samsung phone not always right. Uninstalled and reinstalled on phone to see if that would help… nope so stopped using it on phone. Recurring activity started to disappear after recurring just a few times, and yes they were marked as no end date.
