✓ Seems to be getting worseWhen I first got this app - it was spot on! I don’t know which update switched it from being useful - the last couple of times I used it - it was way off. It would say next 3 hours dry and then I would look up and see the gray clouds and hear the thunder and it still said dry for the next 3 hours! It started raining within minutes! If it were a free app - then I would say lesson learned but I actually paid $4.99 for it! I hope this update corrects this.Jazz Lover 2010Version: 1.9.11

✓ HelloHi. If there were just a bit more explanation it would be great!!! For an example... our local area of Louisville ky may be saying rain and this site doesn’t indicate that it is raining (or will be in the next three hours) and then while it is raining it then says rain will be here in 33 minutes I realize scattered storms occur but this is our wettest year ever and it is not keeping up with the when it will rain portion of the app... or I need to know more how to utilize it Another thing would be not to have to give a nickname because they are all taken and it has take. ✓ No more updates?This app used to work really well, and was very accurate based on my location - but now, not so much. No app updates in a year? Disappointed on many levels, and especially when it now takes quite a while for the app to access the NWS. I used to really rely on this app, but not anymore. ✓ Hasn't been correct since downloadedExample: checked RainAware on 1st tee, because clouds appeared in distance, showed no probability of rain (Dry). By 5th hole (hour later) pouring rain, lightning in distance, horn was sounded. Really, checked RainAware - Dry. Really? Coordinates shown in app are correct. What gives? RainAware has been this inaccurate since downloading. It can even warn of rain when it's actually raining. All positive reviews must be that it very accurate regarding the fact that is dry, when it actually is dry. As far as rain predicting - a joke. At least sits a humorous conversation piece while getting soaked (or maybe it was imagination that I was getting rained on) Would give zero stars if possible.Not really getting rained onVersion: 1.9.8

✓ Not today it poured you missed that app?!I was extremely disappointed in the app today and it was dark the sky was for me it was building up warm weather every sign was pointing to the fact it was gonna rain I checked the app multiple times wasn’t even the slightest chance of rain in the forecast and in Minneapolis it poured thunder lightning for hours? ✓ Paid and not dependable.I might expect more than I should, but to be so wrong so frequently is not acceptable. And, after reading some of the other reviews it became apparent that I not alone. When I have a need for absolutely correct information and don't get it, I'm place in an awkward situation. I will keep it because I paid for it. ✓ Not a fan of this appThis app is basically useless! It’s only accurate half the time. It tells you that it’s going to rain in 23 minutes, and it’s already done raining. It has states/cities already downloaded, so if you’re looking for a place to golf in your county, you can’t-it doesn’t give you the option to even enter your STATE! Not great.There is no appreciable zoom on the radar, and that is about all you get with this app. I was a bit disappointed with the features of this app for the cost (when compared to others). ✓ Just okay servers are always downWhen the app works it is great but it does not always work. More times than enough I receive a Server SSL certificate error 1202 when I go to use it. If I do t get that error it’s a message that the servers are down. When I first started using the app about 4-5 years ago it was great over time errors messages are received. These messages occur when the app is needed because the forecast is rain. Not sure what has happened but it is not as reliable. ✓ Falls shortRainaware needs an update; hasn’t been updated for a year now; may not be compatible with iOS 11; I could be wrong but I believe it used to have notifications; none now; plus no background refresh; I’ve checked all the settings in iPhone system settings & only find location setting which is “only while using”; far from sufficient; checked setting in the app & there nothing about notifications.OkieDaveVersion: 1.9.8

✓ Used to be so much more accurateWhat happened? Are you or two ago I could use this time the rain almost to the minute. Now every five minutes the forecast changes. Literally just before writing this review it said it’s going to storm for three hours. 30 seconds before that it was only gonna storm for 15 minutes. Five minutes ago it said two hours.
