✓ Great app!This is my “go to” calculation app when I am working in my woodworking shop! It is extremely easy to use and relieves a lot of the headaches in calculating critical fractional and decimal calculations. Are use it every day and I am very happy that I have it in my “toolbox“! I highly recommend this app! It’s a very stable app and has never crashed on me. You cannot go wrong with this app if you need to calculate fractions and decimals..Version: 4.1
✓ Best fraction calculator. Tried many. Quick entry. Doesn’t confuse intent...I’ve played with many calculator apps and have a shelf full of HP calculators at work. This is my favorite calculator for carpentry and tile work where everything is in 1/16 or 1/32 of an inch. Great entry screen. Math works easily. ✓ You'll never forget how to do fractionsThis is the paid version of the app, and is free of any advertisements. But why not just buy a general-purpose calculator? Simple - while some do fractions, they are not optimised for entry and presentation of fractions. This app is optimised for fractions, and does the job very well. There are 3 keypads. One for the whole number, one for the numerator, and one for the denominator. That means you can use this calculator occasionally without having to find instructions. Results are displayed as fractions and the equivalent decimal number. It supports the native resolutions of iPhones and iPads and looks professional. The icing on the cake is that it creates a page showing how to do the math by hand. You'll never forget what you learned at school! I'd like to see an option to not reduce the answers (e.g. an answer of 4/16 will always be reduced to 1/4), also operations like square root and cubed.
