✓ Never updated!Played every BF game. Would like a proper career tab to see my career progress to date and it only shows BF4 and BF1. To further regard the app, I’m now playing BFV and it doesn’t even work with that. If you’re going to release a new game, surely ensuring that it is updated for that is a minimum! BFV compatibly please, or is the brand now just diminishing into chucking out titles with no support or polished product, just to keep up with Call of Duty’s ‘title a year’ profiteering?.Version: 3.0.4

✓ It's mostly bad at this point..Pros: I like that I can check detailed stats wherever and I love that I can change my loadout on the fly between rounds. Cons: I really dislike how many little bugs there are and I absolutely hate the one big one I've found in particular: - If I open this app while I'm signed in and playing BF1 on console I will immediately be booted from any game that may be in progress and I am taken back to the home screen with no connection to EA servers. This can happen at any point, not just in a match, and occurs about 20% of the time. (XboxOne. iPhone6) I like the potential here, but I frankly don't think this app does anything more than add to the long list of issues your games already have. ✓ BuggedThis app does have a feature to create emblems but when you try and apply them it doesn’t work. I spent a good few minutes trying to make a new emblem and equip it but after I do it the emblem doesn’t appear in game at all. After trying to go back to my old emblem since the new one didn’t work that one wouldn’t equip either and now I’m stuck with the standard flags as an emblem..Version: 3.0.4
✓ A way to stop friends seeing me turn on the game?I play battlefield 1 on ps4. So far my favorite game so far. But now i have a problem that itched me so much I stopped playing the game. I wish i can disable my friends from seeing me turn on the game. There are times i just wana get in a good game on my own but everytime i fire up the battlefield 1 game on my ps4, they immediately get notified that im starting to play. ✓ Needs to be fully compatible for battlefield 5It’s been over 3 years since you guys have updated it for just battlefield 1... works fine for me as is except if I wanted to change my Calvary load out, it gives me a blank screen. Also in the game itself I cannot scrap my duplet skins for scraps anymore and they keep piling up. Last time I was able to it only took about 10-15 of the 40+ I had, now I’m nearing 60. And the odds of getting puzzle pieces at random are way too random. I still haven’t gotten all the melee weapons built because 1, getting puzzle pieces are overly random. And 2, 9/10 times if I do, it’s a piece for a weapon I already built a while back that shouldn’t have been a year+ later.😒.Version: 3.0.4

✓ Cool but...It's great to be able to make changes to your classes from anywhere. The issue is I keep getting a bug where when I login to the app, my classes reset to the default. When I make changes to restore them to my unlocked gear, the changes aren't reflected in the game. Also, the emblem maker is functional but a gigantic pain to use. ✓ Ok but some bugsI like the app, however there are glaring bugs in the app and main game in recording stats and rank up. I've played Operations and War Pigeon modes but no stats on my record according to the app (I have the PS4 trophy for winning an operation so it's definitely not the system). Changing loadout is slow. Also sometimes stats do not register despite the round being clearly completed, yesterday I was 4000 away from getting up to rank 10, round finished and was glitching even when I quit the server, nothing registered on my record despite receiving a battlepack for the round. Also battlepacks should be able to be opened within the app. Update - Conquest Flag Ribbons is glitched! I have caught over 100 flags but according to the app I only have 4 ribbons!.Version: 3.0.4

✓ It's a broken, yet working appThe app does a good job at doing some basic stuff, not as deep as it use to be, but still get the job done. Sadly the last update seems to have broke the feature to create additional layouts for a class. Crashes as often as EA severs do when playing Battlefield 1, and that is a lot of late. ✓ Parts unequalThe Battlefield app allows a player to see all the various items they’ve earned ingame and make changes to their load outs. The changes made in app seem to reflect almost immediately in game, a very cool innovation. However, there appear to be differences from game to game in the app. Where in the BF4 side of the app you can see the changes in damage, rate of fire, range, etc. when you consider switching weapons, this feature does not exist in the BF1 side of the app. This is like changing out weapons solely for cosmetic reasons: you can’t actually see the differences between what you’re carrying now and the weapon you’re wanting to switch to. I'm convinced that anyone giving this 5 stars work for EA. If the app worked, I would give it 5 stars, but for now it's just a waste of time. Update- now the app doesn't recognize my career. ✓ App is Frustrating and BrokenThere were two major problems with this app for me. 1. Was not able to view my stats or use any of the features in the ‘careers’ tab while signed into my Xbox profile before I was immediately kicked out by a pop-up stating “you need to be signed in to your EA account...” However, when I signed into my EA account, my Xbox profile wasn’t available and thus, none of my stats. 2. I could not save any emblems regardless of any troubleshooting and therefore was not able to create an emblem. The sole purpose of downloading the app in the first place is so I could actually take advantage of the emblem feature in the battlefield games..Version: 3.0.4
✓ Doesn’t Support BF5Battlefield 5 is one of the most customizable versions of the game yet but this app doesn’t support it which is super lame especially since you could use it WHILE you are playing to adjust your loadout since the game itself forces you to back out of your squad and map in order to change assignments and redeem completed ones. Also this could let me modify my loadout on my own time away from the PC and look at it allot more closely than when I am more ready to play the game rather than sit there doing a bunch of customization on the PC. ✓ Everything works apart from flaw with notificationsI used to play on Xbox One however moved to PS4. I still get notifications through the app when my Xbox One friends are playing the game. I've deleted all my Xbox One friends however the notifications still come through. I contacted EA about unlinking my Xbox One from my EA account but was told "they don't have the tools to do this". They then asked if I'd like the game to be removed from my Xbox One account whatever that meant, and I said yes try it. I was the told "they don't have the tools to do this"! I was then told i needed to wait for the app to sync with the server after I removed my friends before it took effect - I removed my friends over 3 months ago! I give up and have deleted the app! ✓ StupidI got this for the pure reason of being able to customize my load out for battlefield 4 cause for some stupid reason you can’t customize a load out without being in game. So I log in with my Xbox account cause I’m not going through the process of making a new password for EA. And everything is fine I can customize a Battlefield 1 load out if I so pleased. But I want Battlefield 4 load out. After finally finding the page for Battlefield 4 they hit me with the “YoU mUsT sIgN In WItH aN EA aCCoUNt” so then what’s the point of signing in with my Xbox account if I have to reset my EA password anyway? ✓ A big backwards stepThe old battle log was great and I can't see how any Developer could be proud of producing this garbage. Poor usability and features no longer available such as battle reports. ✓ New to the series but love the game!(I have my original review post below) I have rerated my review do to my recent dealings with the companion. I got this companion for the news and to update my load outs. I also loved reading the codex. With Battlefield V, news as stoped, and all news history has been erased. I can’t access battlefield V in the companion. I would love if the developers would update the news, and add battlefield V. If you guys can do that for me, I would really appreciate it. And I will restore my original rating. Thank you. This is a great companion app and allows me to see news and videos. I like this app a lot, and there a lot of helpful things in it, developers please take note, there are some current bugs where I am not getting any news very often and no new videos have updated since the Doom49ers platoon. Please fix! I also agree with the background music, that would be sweet, good thinking souleater! ✓ Ok...First off, EA you made a not pay-to-win game. Second I love battlefield one it’s great but the companion.. not so much. Half the time it deletes my load outs so I only have one. Like for scout I have a ‘all or nothing’ load out which is blinging flairs, K-bullets and the martini Henry. And i also have a smart sniper hit with the Russian sniper with a ten times scope, sniper shield, trench periscope and a trip wire bomb. But I can’t have them both, I create them both in the game but as soon as I open up the app the second one gets deleted. Even from my computer. The app also gives no description for the variants of the guns. I only use the app to look at my service assignments and check the progress of me unlocking guns. Back then the app was amazing I could track medals/weapons/assignments/etc. I could even change my loadouts I could join matches and do literally anything I needed while waiting or even before I tuned my PS4 on. ✓ Useful, if somewhat buggyThe app is pretty effective and reliable, no crashing and the design is nice. The app is able to show comprehensive stats for bf1, bf4 and hardline. You can also create your own emblems and review your overall stats across the three games combined. ✓ Battlefield companion appThis app is the most unreliable, useless, and the worst thing EA/DICE has ever made. The battlelog (July 26, 2015) app was more reliable, useful, and it actually worked. Ever since this app came out, I’ve been sending reports of the same bugs that haven’t been fixed and still hasn’t been fixed. There is even a bug that says “You need to login to see this information” when you are already logged in. I even signed out, deleted, used different accounts, and used completely different devices and still doesn’t work. Any basic function(s) of this app are not accessible and or useable. ✓ Great interface but has some bugs that need fixingOverall I love the battlefield companion. It's great for those who want to see there stats more detailed but it does have its problems. As of the time I am writing this review there is a bug that prevents users from seeing their battlefield 4 stats. It will tell you to log in your EA account even if you have logged in your EA account. Basically meaning any users who don't play battlefield 1 can't even view there stats for battlefield 4, also they do not support battlefield hardline so there's that as well. ✓ It is a good app but it has some issues.The emblem creator works very good. Bf1 stats are showing ok, however Bf4 stats only show for a few seconds and then say "You need to log into your EA account". I can see my bf1 stats, but not my bf4 stats? That stinks. The loadout editor is not that good either ,since i bought all the weapons in bf1 (not dlc) using warbonds, and it looks like i have not even bought one. The news are usually outdated. ✓ Could be amazing, but the bugs stop it.I have an iPhone 6. The app looks great, easy to use, and great ideas. However, there are bugs, glitches, and crashing. My biggest complaint, is when I go to career, and click Battlefield 4 to open it to view stats, load outs, etc. As soon as I open it, a notification pops up that says "You must be logged into your EA account to view this." and it kicks me back out. I'm already logged in though. I tried logging out and back in, but that didn't fix it either. Fix the bugs and I'll rate it 5 stars. ✓ Pigeon would be betterThis app is now practically useless. It simply doesn't think there's anything to show me. Career is empty, so it's little more than a splash screen. The only thing it has going for it is that the web companion is now little better on tablet, also opting to show nothing most the time. ✓ PS+ fix. -reload your last save file from cloud to restore loudout.Yes, the app crashes, it's buggy and resets your loadout which is especially annoying when you found those sweet spots with gear and zoom levels. However once that is fixed the app seems to have potential. I managed to salvage my loadouts by going to the last save file backup on PS + cloud. ✓ A great interface, but...Again, this app has a great interface and style. It feels innovative compared to other video game related apps I see! But, it is annoyingly buggy. The screen will freeze after I click on a weapon, and I can only press the bottom buttons on the screen. After repeating this several times, the app will crash. If can no longer edit my dog tag to how I want either, which really bugs me since I have rightly earned these upgrades to my badge. Another issue is that when I buy new weapons, or anything, the number for how many "war bonds" I have doesn't go down unless I exit out of the app, kill it, then open it again. EA/DICE need to fix this immediately, as this app is very helpful and has a lot of potential. An idea for EA/DICE to add is the ability to OPEN battle packs instead of just seeing the notification. ✓ BugsThe app in itself is great and useful. It does have quite a few bugs that really need to be fixed because they've become a big annoyance. The app doesn't update what medal you are currently focused on, in my experience it shows the medal I first started working on when I started playing the game and it even says I didn't complete it yet and I did. The medals need to be fixed. Also, class set ups don't get updated either, in my experience it shows the default set ups for each of my classes every time I look but in the actual game they are how I put them.
