✓ Old favourite is very sickI’ve used this app for years but since the big database update earlier this year it’s become very very slow, my iPhone runs hot in my hand, and if I’m not at home on wifi I can’t get most of the data to load even though I’ve downloaded the offline maps and spent days downloading all the data for every state. I keep sending emails with examples of what’s wrong but the replies seem to infer they are just doing the same thing and not really fixing the issues. It’s been months now and we are still waiting for a useable app with all the data that we love. Come on GDay. You bought this app and said you’d make it better. Currently it’s worse. Do your own staff use this app? Everyone of them should be using and testing it, then maybe they’d understand the problems and the frustrations we long term users are having with it. ✓ 5.0.82 Update Freezes ConstantlyI wrote a negative review for the previous update. This update doesn’t do much to improve upon the performance issues, but what’s worse is the app constantly freezes now in the 5.0.82 update. Loved the app before the previous two updates. ✓ Very difficultJust purchased this app. I wish I hadn’t bothered and stuck with CamperMate. I simply cannot follow this app, information is extremely difficult to find, no way of knowing costs of camps, no way I can find to see reviews and don’t start me on the so called trip planner. ✓ Great app BUT………This is a good app, but the jury is still out as to weather it will continue to be seeing that it has been sold. I have contacted Wiki camps about a LARGE number of free camping sites that are closed till March 23 and asked them to update, providing proof via a link to the respective official websites, to date this has been ignored, so this leads to the assumption that they just don’t care if sites are open or closed, or if you get fined or not and talking with other users, this appears to be a familiar and old problem. So to the user, use with caution and verify with offical sites if sites are open, closed and in some cases here with this app, some listed as open and free are actually forbidden to camp there at all, yet they refuse to update listings so USE WITH CAUTION and don’t take their information as gospel truth..Fallow appleVersion: 4.8.8

✓ Suggested ImprovementsRecent changes to improve offline content downloads has helped but team, still needs more work. Offsite content screen needs to remain open, which means if it closes, the process starts at NSW again, then runs through all states again. Even if a state has recently been updated, it’s take over 30mins to get to WA. This effectively means WA offline content is unlikely to ever get downloaded, perhaps even VIC etc. Unless you’re willing to wait and wait. Keep making improvements please. We need this app and the downloaded offline content to rival how it use to be prior to the platform upgrade. Thank you..Devoted but FrustratedVersion: 5.1.10

✓ So near...This is very nearly, very good. The information and views on campsites are excellent. But all that good work is undermined by the terrible map. It just isn't usable offline - which means it just isn't usable! The town names are invisible, geographic features (like the sea) aren't rendered correctly, and sometimes aren't rendered at all. ✓ Offline maps are rubbishDon’t be fooled into thinking that the map you see in the preview here is the actual offline map you will be downloading, it looks nothing like it. All of the town names are missing (regardless of zoom level) and most of the roads you see are not there when at the same zoom level as the preview. Contrary to the description it is next to impossible to preplan or navigate using the offline maps they are that bad. I should add that i have this app and maps on my ageing windows phone and the maps are excellent but here on my ipad pro they are absolute rubbish. I have posted to the forum but the developer just ignores the map grievances. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app with no improvement. You have been warned..OziroadsVersion: 2.6.2

✓ Bit disappointed with offline content.After purchasing this app for a trip around Queensland , hoping to be able to read up on our next destination as we went. We were disappointed to find that when this app is offline without connection to internet, the data for each campsite was so old as to be useless. The most recent details and reviews were from 2018. Some sites had changed completely from their old reviews and data. But as soon as we reconnected to internet, the reviews and details were up to date… not ver helpful at all.
