✓ Works Great for MeI don’t always look at NOAA for my Weather, but when I do... I also use Dark Sky, for notifications. It’s precipitation images are detailed and are displayed over a satellite generated background which I’m sure they purchased from Google. ✓ Dependable!This is the only radar I use. I have lived through two tornadoes and am now a paranoid weather watcher. I use this app ALL the time. I especially like the fact that it loads quickly and gives the ability to zoom in all the way to my street. ✓ My primary Weather AppI use it on my iPad and on my iPhone. Whenever I see storms developing or when I see lightnings at night, I use it to check if I am in the path of a storm. It is especially usefull when I have my computer shut down due to electric storms in the area. The color shading of the radar picture is pretty precise regarding of the amount of rain coming down. ✓ Best Radar AppI have had this App for about 2 years now, I kept delaying doing a review, so I'm finally doing it now. I use this App daily to get realtime, accurate, local weather everywhere I go in the US; I can't say anything bad it, this is the only App I've tried that I can say this about. When storms are in the forecast, I use it multiple times a day to track the storms so I can plan around them, or advise my family of severe weather headed their way; 2 of my younger grandchildren are now becoming aspiring meteorologist thanks to this App! ✓ The MUST HAVE Weather Radar App!After much searching for a solid mobile radar app, I came across this one for my iPad 3 with 4G LTE. Have had it a couple of days now, and I love it so far. I live in Southern Ontario in Brampton, and was concerned that it may not cover my area - not an issue at all, lots of coverage for the lower section of the province. The maps are top notch detailed right down to street level, and with the "SuperRes Base" (0.25km resolution) plus GPS, it's a must have for any storm spotters/chasers. And with the $2.99 price tag compared to RadarScope that costs $9.99, it's a no brainer. Can't wait for some updates to help build upon an already solid app. Must also mention that the customer service has been very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. Jason.Version: 1.4.3
✓ Radar US Very good weather app.I'm finding this app to be very useful. Tapping the title at the bottom center of the screen gives a long list of information. The total precipitation menu item doesn't seem to be very accurate. Shows I have had no rain when it has rained for at least an hour. I would like it to show lightening strikes. Over all I find it very useful and look forward to updates. Hope it doesn't change to a subscription app. My last weather app did that after an update..Version: 1.6.4
✓ GreatHave used for 4-5 years. I love the higher definition mode which they have had since very early on, before most others. Also like the lightweight, unobtrusive markups, storm vectors and NOAA boxed areas that allow you to see the map, not the ham-fisted, big crayon effect that so many others have. The app is dependable and when there is a problem (once/twice a year?), they tell you what it is and why. Invariably it is a feed from NOAA ( due to API changes I presume), that affects most of the other radar providers as well. Good product. Thank you..Version: 1.7.1
✓ I love it.I am update my review from four years ago. To put it simply, I really liked it then. Now four years later, I love it. I will not go so far as to say that it has saved my life, but it is certainly has saved me from some dangerous situations, especially when planning travel over water such as the 26 mile bridge over Lake Ponchartrain. I use it for fishing inshore/nearshore as well along the coast. Great app. Highly recommend customizing the settings to your liking..Version: 1.6.4

Other weather apps have more bells and whistles but when storms bubble up and you need quick reliable radar this is your best friend. Wonderfully lightweight at 5.2MB. ✓ Great App, but not perfectI use this app not only daily, but throughout the day. This is an outstanding app, and the best radar mosaic app I’ve tried, and as a meteorologist, I’ve tried a lot! Some limitations I’d like to see improved (that would bump my rating to 5 stars) are the following: a 6-frame loop is just too short; I would love to be able to add personal markers, such as location of family members’ homes; please add severe thunderstorm and tornado watch boxes; increase the number of temperature stations, because large cities like Memphis, St Louis, and Dayton are missing temperature stations, and states like WV have only one temperature station; loading speed improvements are needed; looping should be the default mode upon app launch..Version: 1.6.6

✓ Bug in 1.6.6.9 updateI have enjoyed using this app for many years, but an odd bug was introduced in the 1.6.6.9 update: the app is stuck in landscape mode on my 2017 iPad Pro 12.9”. Reloading the app and rebooting the iPad didn’t fix things. The odd thing is that the update works just fine on my ancient iPad 2. A minor annoyance, but I hope this gets fixed in the next update.Version: 1.6.6

Not as robust as Storm Spotter but has some nice features: * works with Canadian storms as long as its serviced by a US NEXRAD site. Typically storms at and across the border show up. * nice Conus view when zoomed out shows all storms on the continent and any warning overlays. Cons: * Can't select an individual radar. Uses location service to find the nearest, and you could zoom out and find active weather and zoom to that radar, but no listing of radars or even when zoomed over a county or state doesn't list the radar site. * limited overlays and colors. No option just to see. I background (all black) or just county or state lines or roads. * some of the info overlays are hard to read (ex: echo tops - hard to figure out metrics by the colors not visible enough or not labelled clearly contrast).Version: 1.4.3
