✓ Loved this app until the AI chaseI had been really enjoying using this app to do basic photo edits, memes, etc. However, I can’t continue supporting or recommending it now that the developers have chosen to chase the dangerous “trend” (in their own words) of AI art generation. The widespread adoption of these image generators has been widely criticized and condemned by the artist community for many reasons, including the fact that they are built upon large data pools of artwork that have been harvested en masse without the consent of the human artists who actually made those pieces. Unfortunately, many developers have brushed these real ethical concerns aside in order to pursue what the “experts” are saying is the inevitable way of the future— you know, the same thing they said about NFTs. It seems Bazaart is the latest, so I am regretfully withdrawing my support for their product. The team that makes Clip Studio Paint set an example all digital art app developers should follow: after users made their voices heard, the CS team removed their newly-incorporated AI generation feature entirely. They understood it was not worth throwing their userbase under the bus for a short-term selling point. Hopefully the Bazaart team can be brave enough to do similar..Version: 9.4.2
✓ DecentThis app is the first I’ve used that lacks a common UI glitch often experienced in similar iOS cut+paste apps. If you pause your finger on the screen in one spot, thenmost apps making small, precise movements on the screen (think erasing/restoring) and pause for more than a second or so, every other app loses sense of where the cursor is positioned, then rushes to compensate for lost time, ruining the blend area on the edge you carefully outlined. Using Bazaart, cursor continues without hesitation and because it’s the first app I’ve seen to overcome such a common UI hurdle, I’m impressed. However, it seems that if you use the scissors option to select a portion of the image, it automatically deletes the OUTSIDE, leaving only the inside of the scissors selection you just made. No option to delete the inside of the selection and NO OPTION TO UNDO. Even if you hit undo, it will simply undo the last change you made to that layer preceding the scissor select. Changes to a portion of the layer which isn’t even visible anymore. Huge flaw. Y’all screwed up an image I had spent nearly an hour on previously and for that, unsubscribing..Version: 5.5.5

✓ Just like any other app advertising premiumI will be honest, it’s a good app. But just like any other free app, it has a premium. And of course you have to advertise it. I really don’t like how the tool you are most famous for and the one you advertise on the app preview it that one tool, magic. I was soooooooo exited when I realized that I was going to be able to try that out. It would have made my life so much easier. But when I finnaly figured out how to use it, I realized it required premium for a ridiculous price. You can’t just put something on an add for a free app and then when ppl buy it they will be disappointed by the fact that they have to pay lots of money to get that one tool that they wanted when that got the app. And yes I know you guys have to make money somehow so my suggestion is to put the app up for .99 cents and many people will still but it because it is truly an amazing app for photography as long as you take down the premium because advertising an app with a tool for “free” then realizing that you have to pay is almost like false advertisement and nobody likes that..Version: 6.2.1
✓ Good but glitches lately🥹🐸🐸🐸😉I have found that when u use the cut feature it will cut the shape but the shape might move out of the frame and cut something else. I have also found that it doesn’t allow certain videos if the over a few seconds I find that it crashes and glitches out of the app. Allow animations to be put on the collages and I don’t mean the stickers and the graphics I mean from the web search you can also add the videos animations and gifts because I’ve been limited in making some classes and I would really like to update. But overall very good quality is good amount of fans and backgrounds are superb.🐸.Version: 8.60.1
✓ Just keeps getting worseThe name’s elf. i make high tier, no, GOD tier, posts about ridiculous things that make no sense, but are funny anyway. also, I’m poor! So I need free apps to make my OC. Can’t afford photoshop. And also, can’t be bothered to use MS paint. Too much effort when the joke will last another... 5 minutes at the most. My motto is “if they’ve got a subscription, I’ll find my way around it.” I’ll screenshot, I’ll cover things up, crop, make custom sized images, you know. But today, I found this app stooped to a new low. A little background? I pride on the quality of my images more ways than one. I cover one half myself, but I also need genuine quality of image. Today, I opened a blank document. I made my piece, bathed in it’s ridiculousness, it’s sentiment to me and my discord friends who allow me to ramble about my gay fanfictions. I was done, it was beautiful, I was joyous. I saved my image, and without thinking sent it to the first person that’d understand it. ✓ Glitches & Awful Cust SvcFor the price smh it glitches way too much. I call it Glitchy McGlitchington and not Bazaart. If you duplicate a project and make changes the app saves the original and not the modified version of your project. I’ve even had projects made from scratch do this. Their auto save of the last change is what glitches the most. After working on designs for hours and then for it to not save is frustrating. I’ve lost time and money using this app. Even with the newest updates and saving to your files, phone or saving them under the projects section within the app, it will glitch. I reached out to the developers and sent live recorded videos of the glitches and I got a reply via email telling me how to cancel my subscription. I obviously know how to cancel a subscription and I’ve had this app for over 18 MONTHS now paying monthly. I wanted a resolution and for them to fix it, not to cancel. So they CLEARY know they have glitching issues and instead of fixing it, they suggest you cancel😑 what kind of customer service is that?!?! They are not investing back in to this app to fix issues although they’re making a killing on this app. If you’re cool with potentially losing your work after editing, go with this app..Version: 6.9.3

✓ Long time userEver since they launched there new update, multiple issues. Text resizing randomly. The background selection tool, and tool for colours not working reverts back. Silly move by me is I uninstalled and reinstalled - lost all my work over the years. I didn’t realise it didn’t back it up. Can you please please please reverse this new update until you fix this glitch? ✓ What the Hell is This?What I presume is a new update is absolutely ruining my experience on this app, which I’ve had for a number of years now. Text is almost completely inverted; you’re unable to use it in the same way you use it because it seems to have a line-stretching tool that automatically activates every single time you edit the text. You can no longer format lines the way you want, but instead have to hit delete and imagine in your mind if the words you are typing will fit on a line neatly or if you need to begin another using the space bar. And you can’t see line formatting anymore; it’s completely up to your brain to figure out. This is pathetic. It’s hard enough all the poor tweaks we’ve had in the past, but what is this? And they wonder why I don’t upgrade to premium….Version: 7.3.3
✓ Good but could be betterThis app is a very good app that helps you edit your thumbnails. But I think they could’ve done more. I wish there were more choices for choosing your base for it and I would loved for there you be more effects. When I’m editing I feel like there’s not a lot of options for me to do. When I got this app I thought that there would be more bases, more fonts, a better base when I’m editing and it feels like I’m limited. I would love for the creators of this app to see this. Although, I don’t think there ARE SO MANY options. this is a good app if all you want to do is do a quick thumbnail without a lot of detail. But a lot of the things for the stickers, more of them are money. I mean I have an app where every sticker is free. Like if I want to do a emoji there is only like a cow and a zebra to choose from. But I do think that this app is not for detail and a lot but it’s a quick thumbnail app when you need to get it quickly. Overall it’s an ok app, but if your a YouTuber with a lot of subscribers, I would recommend if you want to do a lot of detail and a lot of things going on, you should go to a more detailed app..Version: 7.1.7

✓ I just wanted to crop some photos...Okay. hear me out: I want to drop some simple cartoon photos as simply as possible. I would immediately delete the app after I made the cropped photos. Simple. But they made that hard somehow! Which is weird! This is their JOB! Okay, so, through the tutorial, I heard about the “magic” mechanic, where it will delete the background. Okay, cool. But when I got out of it and tried to do it on my photo, it didn’t work, I needed premium. Okay, makes sense why they would lock out a feature that extravagant. So, I thought I’d just erase around the part I wanted to crop. It would take a while, and would look sloppy, but it was my only choice. So I started erasing, and the eraser turned out blurry. I wanted a clean outline, so I decided to change the settings to a perfect eraser. But GUESS WHAT?! They restricted the eraser options behind premium! ERASER OPTIONS! I became so baffled, I deleted this app and here we are now. The only reason I gave it 2 star is because, in real life situations, with premium, I’m sure that this photoshop tool has lots of potential. But locking behind simple features that should be a NECESSITY? I’m done. ✓ FIX TRANSPARENT SAVING!This is a great app! I have to momentarily rate it as a 3 stars because you have a bug where transparent images are not saving. I pay for the subscription every month for that particular feature. It is bad that this has been happening for two months now and nothing has been done to solve it. Do not lose valuable customers, fix the bug! *update* this app takes its customers for granted, since my last review the same problem has somewhat occurred. Layers are not saving how you place them. That is a big problem for those of us who pay for the premium services. It took them nearly a month to address this issue and today is the first where I see it may be fixed. Stay tuned. *update* do not purchase premium. They have bugs and once you ask them to address it, they ask you to send the project that is having the problem. The issue with that is, their interface is bugged to the point you can’t export the project so they can “fix” the issue. Find another app because my initial post still stands. ✓ Getting there.Very fun app and very handy to use. With the onslaught of AI based editors hitting the market the price for unlimited usage needs to be available and lower to lock in the people that will inevitably move on. And the AI replace tool is limited to novelty value at the moment with limited brush size (yes, I’m aware you can scale the photo) and being able to add more than one mask in one go. ✓ This app is not for me. But still has good editing features.This app used to be my go-to for editing and I always hated the price of premium but I managed. But then I found Videoleap which lead to Beatleap which led to motionleap, and until I saw Photoleap, Bazzart was my static photo editing software. Photoleap does also have premium but without it you can auto cut and use all types of blending and much more so I got sick of bazzart because it was so pricey, and if you want more good reviews and loyal users, change the price of premium or allow more basic features Goodbye Bazzart.Version: 7.3.7

✓ Does not work anymore and dark mode has ruined itDevelopers response always seems to be the the same so I went to the trouble of doing what they said but it still saves only with the dark background more waste of my time Not happy for the 3 time and now again with the last Dark Mode update it is useless cause when you magic cut out a picture and export or save to your camera roll it is on a dark black background there is no transparent option anymore which is why I paid for the forever subscription more fool me, so if you want this app for anything to do with your photo shopping give it a BIG BIG MISS, I would like my money refunded as this is NOT what I originally subscribed to and as for your super quick responses to a problem that is also a laugh. ✓ Very unhappy at the momentOnly one star given at the moment. App is not working correctly and sometimes, not at all. At first I was not able to save my project to my camera roll. It would start to save and then shut down to a black screen and then go back to my home screen on iPad. This corrected for a short time but is now doing it again sporadically. Also, the app is freezing up quite a bit lately and when it finally will work again, some of the items I had placed in my design before it froze will be missing. The app is lagging during use and at times it won’t even open and just shows a blank screen, then shuts off and sends my device back to my home screen. I hope you can tell me why these things are happening and how to correct it. I always have issues after every update that is done. If these issues are resolved soon I will update the review. One other thing, putting the delete button on the editing box was a bad idea, in my opinion, because it’s too easy to accidentally tap it when you’re moving things around when layering. Out of the way at the top of the screen with the forward and back arrows was much better..Version: 6.6.2
✓ Pictorial perfectionTo say that this app is simple to use but packed with functions to give pictorial perfection, doesn’t do this app any true justice. The only thing missing is the function to use animation points to give the ability to create animation of faces, figures, and objects with accompanying audio sourced from either pre-downloaded or app user recorded sound bites of between 10 seconds to at least 60 seconds. Update: It was a great app. Since removing the ability to download images from the internet its appeal has diminished somewhat. ✓ Not 5 AnymoreHis app goes from strength to strength & I love the updates. I made a suggestion which to my surprise was added months later. I liked this so much that I went premium for life last year. Sadly, when this app runs into problems they don’t get back to you unless it’s an easy one. I run this on the first iPad Pro and I’m not sure if it’s the old iPad hardware or bugs. I have had around 3. Ajar issues all unanswered since last year. It’s really affected my workflow, so I’m now using this as a test bed and working on learning Affinity to migrate all my projects there. A shame that I spent so much on this and my other apps are cheaper than this combined and I can’t push it to its limits. I hope they address this & I hope to get a new iPad which I hope will resolve the issues I see in this..Version: 7.1.7

✓ Good but expensive subscription, wish one off was availableI use the app a fair amount as it’s very handy the features are great, however, I’ve noticed the free version has saved my photos considerably lower quality recently. Before it wasn’t noticeable for general use but it seems they’re keen to force people onto the paid subscription and have made a change on their update. Edit: the added watermark on free version now means I can’t edit a photo and then import to add as a second layer. I get the watermark all over the place. Real shame. It doesn’t make sense to add this feature on an editing app. If it was just a filter then fine but where you’re likely to reimport a photo it ruins it. If it was a one off payment I would buy the app without falter, but £4.50 a month is not justified for how much I use it. If the quality of saved photos was increased and watermark removed I’d give 5 stars. I think there are so many great pro features to draw people to pay still, without diminishing those that don’t subscribe. Edit: the resizing issues seems to have resolved now..Version: 5.9.98
✓ Not so great anymore:(I’ve been a fan of this app for years now. However I know seem to be able to use it a lot less than I used to. Both in my tablet and my phone which are both upgraded to the latest version of iOS and have the most upgraded version of the app seems to have the app function for a while and then suddenly crash making me lose half of my progress. Not to mention them uniting the shapes tab and the stickers tab not having a good idea in my opinion I think they keep adding flashing new features instead of focusing on fixing what they already have making the software and app of little Mediocre overall I still love the app because it’s simple and it lets you do what you want to do however I don’t love it as much anymore. EDIT: It’s so bad now I can’t click more than 3 buttons on my IPad without it lagging and kicking me out of the app But It’s fine on my phone.Version: 9.5.4
✓ Stealing your money every month and laughing about itWhat makes this app worth £5.99 a month? Well, the app itself is handy I have no issue with the app. But there’s not much really that makes it’s worth the on-going price in comparison to pro software. For an extra £4 a month I can subscribe to the entire Adobe CC bundle. With that comes several high level production packages including photo editing, audio and video procession and production all worth a lot more than this app. That’s £72, every year, you have to pay to use it. I really can’t see what’s so special about this app its out-pricing a lot of professional software. So in my opinion there’s no reason I’d pay £5.99 a month for the privilege. I’d just pay the extra few pounds a month and learn all some serious skills with what Adobe have to offer..Version: 7.2.4
✓ DownfallSo a few years ago i downloaded bazart, ir was great even without the premium subscription and i used it constantly, obviously the company wants to make money so i would occasionally get a pop up asking if i wanted to pay for premium but i decided not to as i could do basically whatever the few the things i wanted to do with the free version. However, slowly over time they started to put some of the basic features behind paywalls and then started to try harder to get me to pay for premium, still i was okay with this and understood. But what i don’t get, is who thought it was a good idea to put up a pop up for premium that i can’t close at all, seriously i shouldn’t be effectively forced to pay for something i don’t need, so why, why can’t you be content with me using your service for free. ✓ Very Good! Quality ProblemsThis app does everything I want it to do, making my small, social media business very easy to manage. However there is a major flaw. Sometimes (I haven’t yet worked out what the trigger is to this problem - possibly merging layers?) the quality of the photo, only when you save it, is horrific. I have tried saving to my camera roll, Dropbox, messaging directly and the picture quality - only on certain photos - is horrific. I will continue to use this app because it is very helpful but this is a major problem as the efficiency of the app is useless if the outcome is extremely pixilated..Version: 6.9.0

✓ Having lots of funI would give a five star review but o really wanted to be able to do things like the cover photo shows: the face sort of cut open with flowers in between the two parts of the face. So far I haven’t been able to be successful. A quick search of You Tube shows a PicsArt tutorial When you search for Bazaart collage. I’ve paid for the unedited version of Bazaart - but it doesn’t have the controls you see in the video. Neither does PicsArt, which I already happened to have. I’m enjoying it. It I feel a little bait- and- switchy. Maybe it’s just a learning curve, but for sure you don’t get the tools you see when you search Bazaart in You Tube. Pinterest seemed to be full of tutorials too, but I don’t have an account, and I don’t think I should have to have one to learn about an app I’ve already paid for. If I find it’s my limitation and not the app, I’ll come back and give more stars. There are myriad photo apps out there and I have many. So not being able to work the same image as is on the COVER of the app will be a shame. I hope it’s me, and not them..Version: 6.1.0
