The app and its free companion book feature a unique library of world rhythms and instruments played by leading percussionists and drummers. PercussionTutor will allow you to approach South American, Caribbean and West African music in a different way. This app offers you more than a simple play-along. It includes standard notation, videos and specific claves. We also took the outmost care to capture the natural feeling of all those drumming traditions.

For the batá rhythms we even developed a random playback engine that will simulate an actual batá performance.

This app puts you in a live playing situation - just like you learned your mother language. You will sound more natural and more alive and you will awaken to new rhythmic possibilities. It's also a great tool for other musicians, dancers and performers who want to immerse themselves into centuries-old traditional languages.

✗ External audio interface crashes it.As per title. If you use iOS built-in audio then no problem. If you want to use a USB interface then it crashes. Devs are aware and don’t care. —— after 1st dev response—- Not me with Logic . I contacted you 26th Feb 2022, you replied saying reinstall. I contacted you 27th Feb saying it’s the external interface causing crash. You didn’t reply. I’ve tested with 4 usb interfaces now. All work fine with other apps: RME Babyface: crash on select rhythm RME Babyface Pro: crash on select rhythm Focusrite 4i4 gen3: works fine! Motu 828es: no crash but no audio Please test and fix your bugs Thanks..Arghh_the_pirateVersion: 5.4

✗ What a dissapoinmentThe work made by the musicians to make this samples is great, but this software needs a great and very important improvement , even if you need to raise the cost of price, or inpurchase add on, when changing the speed it changes the pitch and the sound of the instrument , and complete destroy the original tuning of the instrument by this action, please fix this and maybe add a mixer so we can control loudness of each instrument, thanks.Par-TronicVersion: 4.992
