Tinybeans Private Family Album for Negative User Reviews

Going downhill…I’ve been using this app since 2019 to avoid posting pics of my kids on social media and it became a lifeline for my extended family during the pandemic. It was a way to stay close to our loved ones at a time when we all felt so isolated. It had a few quirks, but it was free and overall I loved it. When they switched to paid subscription only last year, I was annoyed but figured I was in too deep to back out (posting daily for the better part of 2 years) and was getting a lot of value out of the app so I ponied up the fee hoping the user experience would improve. It. Did. Not. Not only is the interface still clunky at times (something that bothers me way more now I’m paying real $$), but the uploading process itself has gotten noticeably WORSE— pictures uploading out of order, uploads getting hung up and never finishing, etc. And on top of everything, there are still ads! What am I paying for, again? Again, if I was still making do with a free app I wouldn’t be complaining. But I’m paying for something that is tangibly worse than the free version..Version: 5.36.0

Good but VERY EXPENSIVE nowI’ve been using Tinybeans for 5 years, first when it was mostly free, then I paid for the subscription, but now the price doubled to £70 a year! This is a robbery!!!! The current free version only allows 20 moments uploads a month, not enough! Going for a lot simpler and cheaper solution through shared albums - as I only need uploads and comments, no extra stuff like goals and advice. Also it was always very annoying that you could only upload one video at a time..Version: 5.59.0

Bait and SwitchMain account was paid with contributors/family members being able to upload additional memories at no cost. Now contributors have to pay. This is potentially an exponential increase in revenue and I guess they’re betting that enough people will stay to make this move worth their while. Hmmm. No warning….just a ripoff..Version: 5.58.0

Terrible customer serviceDo not download this app. Company charged me 3 times for 1 account and refuses to answer any emails and won’t refund me. *Update - the company has since refunded me but only after I commented and messaged them on Instagram..Version: 5.29.0

Getting glitchyThis app started out good, then it got glitchy, then they asked for money for the basic features of the glitchy app. When uploading photos they are invariably in a random order, and more often than not with some duplication. Not a good experience for those viewing. On another level is the design decision around the default navigation setting when uploading… you would think if you are uploading pics for a date a few weeks in the past, the app would take you to that date in your photo album. but no. have to scroll through hundreds of pics to get there. I’m not about to exit the app as our family are all on id it’d be a pain, but for those just looking for a platform i suggest going elsewhere..Version: 5.49.0

DisappointedSome family members used this app a few years ago and we thought it was a really fun way to share photos with family. So naturally when we just had a child of our own I wanted to do the same. I was very disappointed to start our own journal only to find they are now charging a yearly subscription of $50 per year or $6.49 per month to use it (which is too expensive for an app of this kind) and then to see all the reports of problems since they’ve done so. Shame because this was a good app previously. We can make do with email or a different app/website for that price..Version: 5.47.0

Used to be freeNow it’s subscription based. Thanks for ruining a really cool app..Version: 5.51.0

Forced subscriptionI have to say I was extremely disappointed to be forced into a subscription, after 6 years of use, to be able to continue uploading photos to Tinybeans. However, I paid the price ($56 at the time) as all of our family loved their Tinybeans daily updates and I love taking a trip down memory lane back through our calendar. When I received the notification last week that my subscription was due for renewal and the new price was AUD$120 I was completely shocked!! That is more than double the price and for what? There have been no enhancements to the app at all in that time bar some bug fixes. That’s just absolute robbery! I, like many, will not be renewing my subscription at that price!.Version: 5.58.0

Price Increase to include LESS services available. Bogus. We have been avid users of this app for over a year and a half. Didn’t even mind when the price increased from ~$20 to $40 annually. We have a lot of out of town family that truly appreciates being able to watch our children grow. This price jump to $80 is Ludacris. I can totally understand cost of business going up. I wouldn’t even mind the jump if it didn’t mean a DECREASE in services available. You mean I’m now expected to pay DOUBLE so that only two people can post unlimited photos? Our child has two parents and a set of grandparents who provide care for us. Everyone likes to share photos of our child for others to enjoy. It seems ridiculous that I would pay $80 for the use of this album and am STILL limited in the number of photos that can be posted. This rollout came with zero warning from the company either. Terrible business practice and will DEFINITELY be looking for another app. If you want me to pay double the price you better be providing double the service, or even the same service but NOT LESS..Version: 5.56.0

Used to be good - Now a low grade content promotion cheap platformTinybeans for my family was all about sharing photos securely with friends and family and that’s why we used the paid version. Now, it’s becoming an advertisement and content promotion platform. Why have an article called “How to keep the grandparents entertained whilst visiting DC” when I live in London and have no plans to visit DC with the grandparents? Your content is all US based and blatantly promoting sponsored activities. Stick to helping share photos with friends and family. Stop trying to be a content media platform. You are embarrassing yourselves and annoying your customer base at the same time..Version: 5.26.1

Needs a better newsfeedThis app is an easy way to store and share images with family members. However the main newsfeed only shows images that other people have uploaded. The images are stored in a calendar format which means you can’t just quickly scroll through all the photos you have to individually click into each day on the calendar which can be quite annoying..Version: 4.25.0

Disappointing recent updateI have been using the platform for about 2 years now. I am a premium subscriber for the benefits of extended video uploads and no ads. So I was disappointed to see the most recent update with the “Today” home page. When opening the app now, one is inundated with blog posts rather than viewing the calendar of photos. I pay extra for the premium membership specifically to avoid the bloat. If I wanted to read arbitrary opinion pieces, which are usually thinly veiled (or, in some cases, blatant) product placements, I could go to Facebook. It is disappointing. I wish updates would focus on more relevant features of the app. I have appreciated the new search feature. An area of improvement I am still waiting to see is the ability to easily view photos in succession/as a stream. Currently you have to click through each individual calendar day, whether it has photos posted to it or not, to view them all. It is clunky, and a waste of time to click through blank calendar days. Hoping this will be addressed in the near future..Version: 5.2.0

Like it but constantly crashing! For the most part I love this app! I don't like posting baby photos on Facebook so this is great for just those that you want to share your baby photos with! The distant grandparents love it so they can see Bub growing up everyday! However, sometimes I've had to try multiple attempts at putting a sticker on the photo before it crashes, or just trying to post a photo with a description and it crashes at every attempt! Sick of it! Fix the crashes and it would be awesome! Not tempted to buy the premium version until it's fixed!.Version: 3.12.0

No longer worth itWe have been premium members for several years and have loved being able to share our little one with friends and family across the globe. Being a military family it is always challenging to share our child’s milestones and photos with friends and family who don’t live anywhere near us. It was important to us to have a safe and secure way to share but with the price point constantly increasing and the application never really improving it is hard to justify the cost. When we began with Tiny Beans it was was worth while to pay but there have not been enough improvements or added features to explain a 99$ cost. An increase of over 110% in my books needs to have a lot of improvement over the year. The app is clunky and hard to manage, the interface is poor and the value for money just isn’t there. I’ve cancelled my premium membership and moved to the free version for now but we are looking for better ways to share with friends and family..Version: 5.66.0

Advertisements remain in premiumDespite paying for premium, intrusive advertisements still appear in the feed, for example ‘top baby gifts under $20’ at the tiny beans domain with affiliate links to buy the products from amazon. Also, the ‘home’ feed is over populated with annoying reminders to answer questions about milestones and there is no option to turn this “feature” off..Version: 5.0.0

Comments not showing; multiple crashesUpdated to latest apple iPhone software so I updated this App too but ever since I did this, I have experienced multiple problems that I never experienced before. Most notably are the comments not showing up on my photos as well, the App crashes unexpectedly and sporadically. Sometimes my photos only show half the photo as oppose the whole photo even after the photo has downloaded. I’m not alone as it is also happening on my wife’s phone and App too. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the App several times and it still continues these faults..Version: 5.35.0

Do not purchase!I started Tinybeans a few years ago to share photos of my children with extended family and close friends. I found it to be a great way to do that without posting your kids all over social media. The app was very easy to use and at the time free of charge. Last year when they announced an annual fee, I was a little disappointed. I could have cancelled the subscription; however, it would also mean I’d lose the couple years of albums I’d already created. The fee was around $48 USD/year so I actually didn’t think that was too bad for what I use it for. Then this year, I just got a notice that renewal fee will be $99/year. I think this is a crazy big jump just one year later and they kind of know they have you because you’ll lose all your saved albums if you cancel the subscription. So my recommendation is to not start. Definitely not worth $99 a year..Version: 5.65.0

Dead end for dataYes, it’s easy to add photos and videos but all the captions and comments are trapped. I could find no way to extract or include in album printing. Being able to respond to comments would be nice to have feature too. Cheers, Mary.Version: 5.34.1

Price has doubled..too much for meI’ve used this app just about every day for 2 years to help our extended family feel close to our son when he was born and as he grows up. We don’t live near any of his grandparents and many friends and family members tell us they look forward to their daily photos. When the app went from free to $40/yr I was frustrated but was willing to pay to keep my family members happy. To now go and DOUBLE this price is crazy to me and I’m going to be the cheap grinch telling my family why they won’t be getting their daily photos anymore. I’ve seen the response about the rising costs of doing business and providing the best service blah blah blah but what it comes down to is none of these new “features” improve upon my experience to come anywhere close to justifying this cost. This feels like a rip off in a time where everyone is feeling the squeeze as it is. I’d happily keep ads all over the place to keep a free subscription and the lack of warning to this change is the icing on top of the cake. I’ll be started a shared iPhoto album with my family tomorrow..Version: 5.56.0

Clumsy since monetised changesThis used to be a nice easy to use app where you could easily flick between images in the calendar. I appreciate the app needs to make money but the monetisation priorities now compromises the functionality. The great reviews are mostly from the lots of people liked the amazing original version and should be deleted. The reviews for the new version should be separate and would show a different picture. Having to open each image individually so it can be accompanied by an advert is frustrating. Such a shame. Please do not apologise for the way I feel when responding by the way! It’s a pity that monetisation had to prevail..Version: 4.24.0

Fantastic until they want a subscriptionI loved this app for sharing with family Now they want a subscription of $4.99 usd per month Switching to another free app now as I’m not paying for something that should be free or a one payment only!!.Version: 5.23.0

Extremely overpriced and so disappointedI started using this app for free 5 years ago when my son was born to share photos and videos with all of my family living overseas. Since then, I’ve had two more children and continue to upload photos nearly everyday. Last year, Tinybeans started charging for the app the same time it started having major glitches. While this was extremely frustrating, I paid the money and got over it. After all, every photo I’ve ever taken of my children is stored on this app, all those hours spent writing out stories/commentary so my family could keep up with what’s happening in our lives… it felt like too much to walk away from. Now, the latest price increase is… $179/year (Australian)!?!?! For a photo sharing app!? I’m actually in shock. I’d happily take the ads and whatever else for the free version but they’ve limited the free uploads to 20 a month…. I upload 20 photos a day sometimes😔 I’m so gutted at this increase. It’s so unaffordable and I feel trapped as I’ve spent the last 5 years on here and don’t want to start over. I understand things cannot remain free forever but $179 annually? Madness. $179 for a lifetime membership maybe. Not sure where I will go from here but will certainly spread the word not to use this app. Feeling so disappointed..Version: 5.57.0

Very sad with the new updates 😔Just want to begin by saying I have used tiny beans since my niece was born and have LOVED it. It was the perfect way to connect my family who live across the country and around the world when my daughter was born this year. Recently though it’s become a parenting advice app. NOT what I signed up for at all! I’m so disappointed as the album and milestone function of the app is lovely. But I don’t want or need the other stuff, in fact a lot of it is irrelevant to me living in Australia. It’s really unfair to go from a one off payment to a subscription. Please keep it the way it was tiny beans! I’m so sad we have to move our photos..Version: 5.26.1

Great app with room for improvementThis app helps us to make the vast distance between Australia and Europe more bearable. So easy to keep grandparents and uncles and aunties up to date with what’s happening in our family. A couple of things that would make it even more enjoyable 1. Quality of video uploads is really poor at this stage. Happy to wait longer for the upload to finish if as a result I get a crisper and higher resolution video. Especially streaming to tv is disappointing. Maybe even just offer the option of a higher quality upload. 2. Offer and iPad version of the app. We have the iPhone version installed on our iPads and it’s just not a nice user experience. Paying that much for premium should offer apps for more than just my phone. Apple TV would be next on the Wishlist 3. Offer more in-app filters, stickers etc. I usually find myself editing photos before uploading them to the app. Again for premium I expect a bit more. Apart from that, great app with some nice features..Version: 3.17.0

Disappointed by move to subscription modelHaving used the app for a few years and been very happy with it, I’m really disappointed by the abrupt move to a subscription model. For an app that hosts photos (I have no interest in the other features) it’s impossible to justify the $4.99/month fee. Why not continue to offer a free option that caps the number or type of uploads, for example?.Version: 5.26.1

Good but could be better..Have been an avid Tinybeans user for over 3 years but things seem to be going downhill. Now we have to pay to keep our long standing membership. Then the latest 2 updates, everything is uploading out of order in a day. It’s annoying having to upload one photo at a time if there is an order to them. It never used to do this. Also a lot more crashes lately and when I exit the app, and quickly come back to it, I lose my place during the upload and have to restart. Not sure what’s happening Tinybeans….Version: 5.34.1

Outrageous feesBuyers Beware - the app info states $39pa, it’s actually $70 (which is $90AUD), if you get the special otherwise it’s 30% on top of the $90AUD. No doubt it will increase further leaving you feeling trapped. It seems the company who started out with a shared family vision to provide a safe space to store and share photos have lost their way to being all about making $$$. After 5 yrs of using this app I now need to store elsewhere as it is simply unaffordable. I have written to the company asking how to bulk download my photos but no response, no thanks for your company support for 1/2 a decade. Very Disappointing, I would have happily accepted an option with paid ads, which could supplement the company’s need for high income..Version: 5.49.0

Forced to subscribe - not happyI’ve been using (and recommending) Tinybeans for 10 years and thoroughly enjoyed the app - my husband and I frequently lose hours of time delving into the ‘Tinybeans wormhole’ to relive precious memories with our kids! Now I feel like I am being forced to pay ($13 a month!) to access memories that have been free. If the price was a bit more reasonable, I might consider paying, but it costs more that some streaming services for a whole lot less function…I guess I will keep uploading my 20 photos free per month until I reach my 1000 limit… then move on… Very disappointed Tinybeans.Version: 5.56.1

Low blow forcing customers to suddenly pay for a serviceI loved this app as I was able to share photos, videos, memories, everything our family was up to with those who love far away. Now all of a sudden we will have to pay for this service. From what I can see they are still having advertisers pay to be on there. They just want more money. And to start this during a pandemic when people are struggling financially and mentally, when people are unable to see loved ones due to lockdown. What a low blow..Version: 5.24.0

Now chargingI have used this app for almost 7 years and as of a few days ago, you can now only add photos with the paid version! This was a great option of frequently sharing photos with my wider family, without having to put on social media. I’m gutted they’ve made this decision, time to search for an alternative. Will keep app as a record for the first 7 years of my kids. Shame my journals will end so abruptly.Version: 5.24.0

Great app - too bad they’re greedy and charge WAY too much nowI’ve been a user for over 8 years. We LOVE the original app. It had cost us $40 for the premium version but when we divorced, we thought it was a great way to share the memories from days we don’t have custody. Now the price is being jacked up to $100 plus tax!!! I don’t see the validation in increase. When I emailed and asked about it I was told about a bunch of products that I can’t even get as a Canadian user. Then I was told about the free version with ads. That part doesn’t bother me to keep using the app, however, there is a limit of 20 images per month to upload! That’s not even an image a day!!!! Sooooo very disappointed by the greed this once wholesome little app is displaying. Shame on you Tinybeans..Version: 5.67.0

Long time user, annoyed with new featuresI just want a private way to share pictures with family members. I don’t like using social media to for photos of my children. I started using this app when it was free, loved it so much I upgraded to the subscription option, so I would have unlimited options for photos and video length uploads. Then tinybeans expanded. They added “ideas” full of articles for parenting, cooking, travel. I think they are wanting to add a store as well. I do not need or want any of these features. With every new update recently, there are more bugs. On any given day I have to log out and log back in several times to see new comments from family. Scrolling through pictures is glitchy. Tonight I can’t see anything, at all. Nothing will load. We have 5 years worth of memories on this app, comments from great-grandparents I would hate to lose. I would encourage Tinybeans to reconsider their move and simplify back to their original intent— a private option for sharing family photos. If they can’t get that most simple goal right anymore, then what am I paying for?.Version: 5.45.0

Love the app, dislike the yearly costLove this app, but dislike how they have upped the yearly price and taken away the option to pay a one-time lifetime fee. At this price we may have to look elsewhere eventually, unfortunately..Version: 5.57.0

Updated reviewWe have been using this app since our twins were born and they’re now 2.5. They’re identical. I have asked repeatedly if they’d create some kind of function to actually identify the kid in the photo. There are some pics where I really can’t tell which is which anymore, especially where they are really small. Would also help with the “which one is that” questions. Also there are lots of bugs. I paid the lifetime fee which wasn’t cheap but I felt it would be worthwhile since I use it. One of the bugs is that if you try to go back a few days (life gets in the way and sometimes I don’t remember to post daily) the the photos in your camera roll start to repeat. It’s super annoying and can take three or four times to shut down and restart before it will work properly. I’ve written about this before, and it’s been going on for probably a year now. Still not fixed. Another thing that would be nice and make a lot of sense for this app, is making it to where when you are adding a photo or video for a specific date, the photos or videos from that date appear as your first options. This is how 1 second everyday works and makes it SO much easier if you get behind. The app also crashes from time to time, and I’ve had it happen to me when I’ve been trying to upload 20 images at once (the max) and have written captions etc etc. If you’re using the free version it’s good for what it is. I just feel that having paid $200 something bucks it should work a lot better..Version: 4.26.0

Wonderful until they tried to “improve”I have been a Tinybeans user for nearly 8 years. When I first started using it, it was an easy, private way to share photos and milestones of my child and it was free. Last year, after not being given much choice, I upgraded to premium for $40. The only real benefit I noticed was not having to edit videos for time. Even with little improvement, it was still worth the price. Now, they’ve almost doubled the subscription fee, but the app doesn’t work nearly as well. Lagging posting times to skipping posts to hang ups that cause the app to crash abound. Why would I want to dip further into my wallet for an inferior product?! I opted to return to the free plan only to find out that I can only post 20 times per month. It’s an absolute slap in the face for those of us who have been using the app for years! If you want to have different “plans” then offer actual choice. Bring back the $40 tier and I’d bet you’d make plenty of users, including this one, happier. For new users, don’t bother. Look elsewhere for a decent photo-sharing app that won’t extort and hold their customers hostage with subpar service and skyrocketing fees..Version: 5.67.1

Very organized but not worth itWe used Tinybeans for years before being forced to pay and it was great. But not worth the amount we pay yearly now. We were going to cancel but they automatically charged my credit card BEFORE the November date we started paying last year without giving us any notice. I will be cancelling next year for sure.Version: 5.48.0

Originally great, but changes not so greatUpdate- I’ve used this for 2.5 years and it just keeps getting glitchier- more force quits, more problems with updating, more issues with order of photos changing, and more ads and unnecessary articles clogging things up. This worked best as a photo sharing app and is now just another glitchy, wannabe kid lifestyle app. I’ve used this for a year to share pics with family and friends and originally it was great- I paid for a membership and had no problems. The changeover to baby lifestyle platform has really decreased the value of the app, in my opinion. I came to Tinybeans for a safe place for picture sharing; I don’t need another parent network/lifestyle/article collection spot. I wish there was a way to separate the two. Plus, I miss the photo newsfeed. In addition, intrusive ads have taken over- the claim that they are “subtle” is not true- 2/3 of every email is ads. The fact that a paid subscription has so many ads is disappointing. If I’m paying for an app I’d hope that I’m doing so to remove ads. In the latest update photos no longer upload in the order in which you’ve selected them and instead it puts them in a random order, not time of pic or order selected. So now I have to go back and reorder after uploading. Overall, I miss the app being a great photo sharing platform before it was overtaken by ads and everything else..Version: 5.65.0

Great app but…This app has been amazing over the last 3 years to store all my son’s photos and videos, and now my daughter’s too. Unfortunately I have now received a notification to say that in order to keep storing photos and videos I will have to pay the subscription fee. Sadly I cannot afford this so will be seeking another free app to use. I just hope I don’t lose all my old photos/videos :(.Version: 5.23.0

Latest app version is crashing and has display issuesBig fan of the product / app generally but the most recent version of the app crashes when you try and upload more than 10 photos at once typically and then leaves you confused as to which ones uploaded and which ones you have to start all over again on, which is really frustrating. Have also noticed display issues where photos are missing the top section when scrolling through dates. Please can these be looked into? Thanks.Version: 5.35.0

No support for paying subscribersI love this app, recommended to so many people, paid for a subscription but then a week ago my account/app now prompts me to buy a subscription (even though I have already paid for one). It leads me constantly to the App Store to buy again. Contacted customer service multiple times, no response. One would think that a company would actually respond to customers who support them. If you also follow their social media- many other subscribers are also experiencing same issue, but the company hasn’t bothered to communicate that they are having any issues or respond to support requests. Very disappointing..Version: 5.25.0

The service is good, but the iOS and especially iPadOS app could be better.TinyBeans as a service is easy to use, easy to share (especially with older family members), and generally better than Facebook for sharing baby pictures among family. Daily emails are especially nice for sending updates to older members. The calendar based views are excellent. Printing books that are automatically generated from your year each holiday season is also great, and makes an excellent gift. The iOS and iPadOS apps are not quite up to standard in 2020. The iPhone app lacks any way to upload pictures without opening the app itself, and errors in uploading have been common over the past year. Support was helpful somewhat in fixing these errors. The iPad app is very lacking. It does not even support landscape mode. If you use your iPad as your primary computer with a keyboard, you are out of luck. I am hoping the apps themselves improve. My wife still uses TinyBeans but I have moved on to using the built in iOS Photos app for sharing among family..Version: 4.22.2

ScamI was charged $6.5 of subscription fee but when I went to my account it says I am still on the free plan and doesn’t let me add more pictures. The invoice is for “family album premium” I ordered a photo book recently but I paid separate for the physical photobook. What is this $6.5 for then!? There’s layers and layers of subscription fee. Be careful..Version: 5.56.0

Ok app , but better solution availableBeen using this application for over year and it has served my family ok.. it has limited features and not something I knew I would use for years to come. I came across solution last week that is so much better, all my family have jumped on board and we now have a private group each with our own timeline.. it’s amazing, it’s called priceless.. sharing my experiences is my contribution..Version: 5.13.0

Communication lacking2022- update. Well it’s been twelve months since I last paid the subscription. And I’ve been locked out again! Money was automatically taken out of my account and the app no longer lets me add memories without paying again! Unbelievable. Email are telling me they are looking in to it but not replying very often and messenger can’t help, again. 2021- Since the app updated I have been locked out of adding memories. I’m a tiny beans beanstalk member, I’ve paid fees and since the last update have pretty much been locked out. I’ve tried contacting via both messenger and email. Messenger can’t help me as they are social media editors and email have not replied. Now I’m out of pocket with an app I cannot use..Version: 5.48.0

Annoying reminders, can’t turn offFor 2 years I’ve been getting notifications at 9:00pm sharp asking me to upload images to my niece’s album. I don’t own the album, I just want to get notified when an image is uploaded. I just don’t want to be asked every day to upload images to an album I don’t own. Either fix this or at a minimum let me control which notifications I get. Update: They have reached out “ Just go to the More tab, tap your name at the top, then tap 'Remind me to post'. The option to disable will be there!” That option is not there on ios or in the mobile web browser. Anything else you want me to try?.Version: 5.55.0

Paid model is a bit richWas a good free app, the problem with the forced subscription is that the developers can keep putting the price up without users knowing the end game. I’ll be looking for another platform instead of having my ability to add memories held to ransom..Version: 5.25.0

Constant app crashing issuesUPDATE April 2018 I’ve had some issues but to their credit, their help desk people have been very kind and understanding. Most app developers wouldn’t even reply but with Tiny Beans gave actual customer service, which I greatly appreciate. I’m still using this app and hadn’t had a problem for several weeks now. So far, so good. Thank you! I’m 100% over this app. Mere days after buying a lifetime membership it’s been nothing but crashes and an app that does not work. Each time I contact support, they apologise and say a patch is coming. After a while, it works again but only for a few days and then it won’t open. The web version is not convenient for a Mac user. I don’t have time to upload, export, file and then upload painfully slowly. I bought an app and expect to use an actual app. Don’t download. You’ll get trapped like me. Stuck on a glitchy platform and with 18 months of photos in here I don’t know what I’m meant to do next. Thoroughly disappointing experience..Version: 3.24.1

Recent updateLove this app, however after the recent update you’ve removed ability to invite family/friends to your journal via SMS - only email. Please bring back SMS invites, and you’ll have 5 stars.. and I know more friends that will use it then too 😊.Version: 3.20.1

DisappointedStarted using this app when it was free, we’d used it for years to see photos of other kids in the family and so it was a no brainer to start an account once we had our son. We were hesitant when you had to pay to use the app, but since it already had the early photos of our son and family around the world were used to using it we went ahead. Now the price is doubling, and there’s been no improvement to the user experience since it was the free version. Extremely disappointed that it’s gone down this path, feels like it’s just a price gauge for families who are already committed to using it..Version: 5.55.0

No longer recommendI can no longer recommend this app due to the recent subscription service. Originally, for the last 3 years we have had a free product that was perfect with unobtrusive ads. Now we have the same app, nothing spectacular- just photo sharing to a group of email contacts, for $$$. Bonus material is irrelevant, generic, American-centric and very basic/brining parenting ‘advice’ (blaaaa). I no longer tell my friends about it. I no longer ask people if they would like to be a part of the tiny beans community. I feel blackmailed into paying a subscription. I am pretty unhappy with the poor decisions made by this company..Version: 5.25.0

Feel ripped offI started this app five years ago after a recommendation from a friend. Then last year they started charging so I did the first year but then to my surprise the price jumped again to like $160 aud a year! I emailed them my disappointment and never heard from them and cancelled. Now they keep going on about how it’s free but the app is super buggy now and only allows 20 pics a month! That’s not even one a day! Just put it back how it was… and sell some advertising so you can make a living. Give the app back to us how it was - fully free! Super disppointed and wouldn’t recommend..Version: 5.57.0

So Very DisappointingI’ve never written a review about an app before (despite having nearly 100 on my phone) but I’m so disappointed I feel compelled to warn others. After 2.5 years of adding my sons’ pictures daily, like everyone else I was shocked to discover that, without warning, I would be required to pay in order to keep uploading pictures. I was happy enough with the app, and was afraid making a switch would be too difficult for my older relatives, so I decided to pay for the year. Unfortunately, the app has gotten drastically worse since I’ve submitted my payment! It takes extremely long to load old pictures and to upload new ones; there are more ads and irrelevant articles than before; my relatives have complained about the new format for viewing our pictures; and it force closes a lot more than it used to. I am actively looking for another option with which to share pictures of my kids and will be abandoning TinyBeans as soon as I do, despite having paid for the whole year..Version: 5.26.1

Forced to pay or stop uploadingI was deeply unhappy about being forced to choose whether to pay for premium or stop uploading photos on this app. I had been using it for more than three years very happily and would have been fine with being further restricted (eg daily upload limits, no longer able to tag people in photos, video limits etc) unless I went premium. I had seriously considered a premium subscription in the past and would have probably switched at some point. However I was very upset about having basic functionality abruptly switched off unless I paid $5 a month on an ongoing basis and felt I could not trust this company any more. I have since switched to FamilyAlbum which promises not to start charging for uploads. I am sad that three years worth of memories are now separate from the rest, but I do not plan to deal with Tiny Beans again..Version: 5.34.1

Fee Jump - No Customer Care- Lost Trust in Product SafetyI’ve been with Tinybeans since 2021. They suddenly increased the monthly fee from 3.99 to 9.99! Talk about taking advantage of your customer once they’ve built loyalty to your product. I emailed them twice and shared in their feedback survey my reluctance to continue with Tinybeans given this fee increase and they never wrote back! Terrible customer service doesn’t even cut it because there is NO customer service! I contacted Apple about not hearing back from a company that they endorse and was told that they cannot even contact the developer themselves and they said the seller could do what they wanted! For a company whose primary mandate is supposed to be to protect our children’s photographs from exploitation - I feel that the way that they treat their customers and handle their customer service does not reflect these values. I had to share - it’s not ok companies can just get away with not even responding to their customers anymore! I had to share and let people know that I have lost trust in the company and to be careful who you trust with your kids photographs..Version: 5.59.0

Not great when free, then they force to payOur elderly friends and family love this app for one reason and that is they get an email every morning with pictures of our daughter. as far as i've seen theres no other app or service that can do that. unfortunately tinybeans always seems glitchy. the videos upload improperly and my family often says they dont see them or they dont work. i dont even know if anyone sees half the pictures i upload. the email service might be sending less photos than we are uploading? the worst part is that the app just informed me that i either start paying or hit the road! thats pretty frustrating as i wasn't even warned. im not sure what to do. we cant really afford another subscription service right now as we have house repairs, car repairs, took a pay cut, and we have another baby on the way. we are so invested in this unattractive not user friendly app. too bad the elderly relatives and friends are impossible to train otherwise it would be a no brainer to just switch apps..Version: 5.24.0

$13/month for slow speed and bad UXThe price has gone from a few dollars to $6 and now $13/m over the last year. I guess the remaining customers are being charged double to cover the cost of all those who fled because they couldn’t stand the clunky UX and really slow upload speeds? I often put some pics up, give some time to load and then open the app days later to find that the original pics are still uploading because it takes so long. And yes Devs, I did the troubleshooting, there was no change. Overall it’s a good concept for family photo sharing, just needs an uplift to fix the slow speeds and a rethink of the cost model to make it realistically priced again..Version: 5.57.0

💸$40 a year to share my own photos? Surely with 10 ads per photo you can afford to keep this free..Version: 5.23.0

Do not sign upThis is my first ever app review which is significant given I am 39 years old.. In the midst of COVID, where sharing photos and videos with friends, grandparents and great grandparents who are geographically isolated is no longer available due the greed of tiny beans. We have 6 years worth of photos and videos uploaded for two children, then over night with no warning our ability to upload photos is removed. Forced to choose between a 40usd annual subscription or lose full access was the choice. We paid the subscription as a one off as not lose our photos but only my wife is able to upload photos and videos, while I also need to pay 40 Usd. Are we expected to pay 80usd in total? The app is horrendously slow with no significance updates since we first joined. DO NOT DO IT..Version: 5.24.0

Price jumps are insaneWe used to love this app. The free version was great, and we were able to justify some paid because grandparents loved it so much to see daily photos. This latest price hike from $50 to $100 is ridiculous and we won’t resubscribe. Frankly, there are far too many issues to pay that much for an app (just this week everything is uploading randomly and drivig me crazy) and their vapid customer service responses about it being necessary and providing free options (purposely at an annoyingly amount less each month than every day to try to get people to resubscribe) are tone deaf and self-serving when inflation is hitting families so hard. Honestly disappointed in this company’s choices and not willing to support them. Do not recommend..Version: 5.65.0

VHS quality videos make you miss the 90sLove the app and have purchased a lifetime premium family subscription. Reason for the low rating is that the app significantly downgrades the quality of the pictures and videos uploaded, probably to save on cloud storage costs. Zooming into pictures or playing the videos in the app or downloading them from the app to your phone results in the same low resolution experience. It’s a bit like being in the 90s and watching everything on VHS tapes..Version: 5.0.0

Won’t open??? Contacted developers no replySince the last update. It will not open! It just loads and loads and loads. Tried multiple times to get into my app. Phone is up to date and have tried “resetting” my phone. Turning wifi on and off and no luck. Please fix as I was enjoying putting my daughters pictures in here..Version: 4.27.0

Very disappointed after 8 years with this appI have been with this app for 8 years now (before my son was even born). I loved this app for 7 of those years but I am now forced to find an alternative to safely share memories of our kids with our family. I would have considered the exorbitant yearly price if the program ran correctly. I find it very glitchy. Almost impossible to upload photos and videos at times. Incredibly disappointed in how this business has turned out. I use to recommend it to all families but now will be forced to find a program that runs better and doesn’t charge so much to share 20+ photos and videos per month, and that’s even if the app lets you upload them. Such a shame!.Version: 5.64.0

Double the feesWe used this app to share pictures with the family. However, I just go a notification that their annual plan fees just doubled, now over a 100$ for a picture sharing app…….. ridiculous. I will not renew and I will find a new app..Version: 5.64.0

No reply from customer serviceI was really disappointed this moved over to being a paid-for service recently but as we’d used the app to capture loads of comments from our family as our daughter grew I wanted to keep up our use of the app so decided to pay for an annual subscription. After just over a month into my annual subscription, the app has reverted back to asking for payment to upload photos and there is no reply from customer service despite chasing many times. So disappointing and irritating!.Version: 5.27.0

Too expensiveThis service has been free for many years and in the last 3 years they are charging us 100$ for the same service..Version: 5.66.1

A Poor Man’s “Back Then”We use the Back Then app for our baby girl and it’s fantastic and has discreet ads for those who don’t pay for the full version. Tiny Beans, on the other hand, is infinitely inferior. The main problem are the vast quantity of adverts. They’re so intrusive. They occur in between every photo which means scrolling less easy and more frustrating. To look at a photo, you need to click on the thumbnail and then a preview picture comes up a a then you need to click onto that before you can see the whole image. Why go through so many needless steps? Also, in order to to zoom in on a picture, you need to pinch with your fingers and it flips back to normal if you take your fingers off. On Back Then and apps like Facebook, you can double click on a picture and it Zooms in. This is much easier. I find Tiny Beans to be poor, an inferior product that creates frustration as opposed to joy at seeing family members..Version: 5.1.0

$90 USD subscription after 6 months- otherwise you’re locked out.Was a useful app before- although the images you upload get compressed into a low quality format. So this means that relatives in other countries can only download low quality versions. However before you start using this app be aware that it’s only free for 6 months- and then it’s $90 USD per year to continue using the app. I would be happy to pay but this is outrageously expensive for what it is. $15 USD per year would be more reasonable- but I’m more annoyed that when I signed up there was no mention I’d be locked out after 6 months without a subscription. Very disappointed..Version: 5.41.0

AudacityThe fact that you are now forcing a $99 USD annual membership on users who have dedicated years to this app and helped make it what it is today when it doesn’t even work 50% of the time is atrocious. Goodbye Tinybeans.Version: 5.66.0

HATE this new update- won't be subscribing againI hare this update. We have paid for the last two years for premium and we're so disappointed. Not sure we'll pay for this upcoming year with this new format. I HATE the new Home Screen. It never loads and when it does it's all crap advertisements and articles. I don't pay for this app for a home screen of ads. We pay for it to see nothing other than our son. We use this for our own curation of photos of our son, and share them with his grandparents. I have ZERO interest in your crap articles. 75% of the time, the page doesn't even load. We loved the homepage that was a stream of recent photos and videos. This was helpful because we don't upload everyday, so you could see newly posted photos and videos... now it's nearly impossible to find recently posted items that are from several days back. Family members don't know to go back to look through previous days/weeks to find new content. We don't care about your "ideas tab" and refuse to read any of it. Fix this or you're losing another family as subscribers. Judging by your recent reviews you'll be losing the bulk of your membership along with us..Version: 5.26.1

Slow, unwieldy and ad filled - disappointedWe’ve just started using for our first baby - in all honesty I can’t see where it’s 5 star rating has come from. Absolutely filled with ads (and can’t for the life of me figure out how to get a pod subscription despite looking everywhere), pretty unintuitive interface and photo/video load times are very poor. Now that the service is transitioning to a paid model they have a lot of work to do to afford users bang for their buck. Because at the moment it’s just not there..Version: 5.23.0

Uploading issuesI have uploaded photos several times that just don’t work. The app in theory is a cool idea but it’s too temperamental..Version: 4.31.0

Love the photo sharing, the parenting advice is unnecessaryWe’ve been using the Tinybeans album since 2017, and now have two children. We love that we’ve got a central repository of photos of our children that we can share and look back on. The recent change / upgrade to content sharing is neither useful or necessary. It’s US centric, and often not relevant to an audience outside of the US. Our grandparents, Aunties, Uncles and cousins do not need parenting advice as they’re either past that stage or don’t have kids. Therefore why do they need to see this content that is irrelevant to them? Please focus your energy and attention on what you do best, which is providing a safe place for family photo sharing..Version: 5.27.0

BEWARE. Erases captions. Customer service nonexistentAfter entering captions to go with your photos, the app erases your caption completely or just half the words. It'll happen at random, so you don't know you need to type the caption back in unless you're looking right at that moment on the calendar, and by the time you notice it, so much time may have passed that you might have forgotten what you had typed. If you do manage to restore the caption manually, they'll erase it again without notice. VERY BAD considering you may need captions to explain to family what is going on in the photos, or simply want to remember details for the future. I've contacted customer service for help with this issue FOUR TIMES. Each time they reply with a canned response about how they typically take 48-72 hours to get back to you, but nothing else. IT'S BEEN MONTHS. I've yet to hear back from customer service. You're better off trying a competitor app. Some of them even make free movies of your child so you can see them grow up before your eyes, or compile quality photo books ready for purchase. They definitely don't erase your content without notice and then leave you hanging without support..Version: 4.13.0

Pay to use update broke some featuresI love Tinybeans conceptually. Privately sharing photos with family and friends is awesome. I already had a paid subscription (for longer videos) prior to the business model changing, so wasn’t really bothered when they announced the shift to paid usage. That update really broke the apps functionality, though. Uploading photos takes significantly longer and the app becomes unstable and will sometimes crash while uploading. There are no notifications anymore; if they DO show up, it’s only after manually checking for them - then the badge will appear within the app. For a while, uploads processed out of order and uploading randomly, though that seems to have been resolved. Switching to a premium model should have allowed for more, enhanced features for customers, not breaking existing features for… what, advertising? Why am I seeing so many ads in a paid app? Even self referential ads, over and over? I’m torn at this point. I can see other reviews with similar issues, and I’m still experiencing these issues even after updating. I appreciate your devs and all that they do, and hope they can resolve the upload/notification issues soon!.Version: 5.41.0

Change pricing model requiring mandatory subscriptionAfter using this for a number of years , now all my pics are in there , I was happy with the advertising But now require mandatory subscriptions to use the app Unfortunately I recommended this app to multiple friends now they have same issue.Version: 5.26.1

SCAM! DO NOT DOWNLOADI’ve used Tinybeans for almost five years now and absolutely loved it, it was a wonderful way to update extended family on our kids daily lives. A year ago it became paid subscription only. A bit frustrating but I paid for the annual subscription and continued using it for another year. Then my subscription ended and the Tinybeans took money out of my account for another years access. The price had gone up since last year which I wasn’t too happy about but then, even though they’d debited my account (without my permission too), I was locked out of the app. It kept asking me to subscribe before I could upload memories, even though I’d already paid. I sent multiple emails to Tinybeans with no reply from them and ended up having to put in a dispute with my bank to have the money returned. There is also no way that I could do a bulk download of my memories, even though this was advertised as a feature of the subscription. So five years of my family’s memories are now sitting on their servers and I have no way to download them. Do not download this app, it’s a complete scam and you’ll regret it!.Version: 5.54.0

Gets worse with every updateI’ve been a loyal TinyBeans user for 4 years, but this app gets worse with every update. After enduring a mandatory subscription, awful UX design, and a generally glitchy app for years, this update has now resulted in filters mysteriously being applied to my videos, even with “none” selected in the video editor while uploading. I’d quit if there was a way to migrate my precious memories to another app, but I’ve invested too much time/energy into this one..Version: 5.61.0

Great app but horrible technical issues runs so slowI used to be a raving fan of Tiny Beans but I had to write a review to express my frustration with how slow the app runs for me. It lags so much and what used to take me 2 minutes to upload my photos for the day now takes almost 20. Whenever I click a button in the app it’s so slow to recognize that I clicked it and my photos take forever to upload. I’ve written customer service multiple times and each time they suggested I delete the app and reinstall which does in fast help it to run quicker again but then after a few days it’s back to running slow again. It’s extremely inconvenient to have to constantly be deleting and reinstalling the app. I wonder if the app runs slow because of how many photos I have. But either way if I plan to use it forever it would obviously be pretty awful if the technical side of the app gets worse the more photos you have. Pretty frustrated at this point..Version: 5.13.0

Disappointing now that tinybeans charges, and still wants to show you adsI was a bit disappointed that tinybeans have mandated subscription in order to post photos, but you know what, I was happy to pay the subscription because I and the family used it for my baby’s first year of life, and we had lots of use out of it. Perfectly happy to support the app. Subscribed only to find that my money is NOT enough, and tinybeans wants to continue to show me adverts. That was the final straw. That just shows tinybeans is just a money grabbing company that couldn’t care less about your user experience and the quality of their product. I unsubscribed and moved over to FamilyAlbum which is free of charge and provides pretty much the same functionality..Version: 5.26.1

Unfortunate increase in feesWe have used Tiny Beans for several years as a way to share photos and videos of our children with family members all over the world. We’ve had lots of positive feedback from family and friends. However, the fees have steadily increased to a point that no longer feels feasible for us (when acceptable free alternatives exist). While we would prefer to continue with Tiny Beans as it’s already set up and contains a nice history for our family, we will likely not be able to justify paying these fees. Would suggest finding an alternative if looking at family photo sharing options..Version: 5.64.0

Love the app, but pricing is… beyond confusing…Can’t complain too much about what the app comes with. It’s well made and does exactly what we want to controlling share out of information, pictures and video of our kids. We started with the app back in 2018 when it was $20/yr. Good deal! Then it went to $50 in 2020. And now we’re told it’s going to $75 this year. So, I’m not sure where the $40/yr annual pricing comes from that they advertise in the app description, but we’ve been charged above that since 2020. Buyer beware….Version: 5.55.0

Was The Best until Price IncreasesI have used tiny beans for over 4 years. My daughters entire lives are documented on tiny beans. I struggled with paying for the actual membership last year because it was completely free up into that point. This year it’s $75/year or it limits what you can upload?? I can handle ads but limit my uploads? We have grandparents who have reached out on multiple occasions about how nice it is to see daily pictures but you can’t even do that any more unless you pay almost $100 a year?!?! That’s crazy!! I’m on the hunt for another, more affordable app and hope the grandparents are able to move over to the new app since now they are almost 5 years older. I truly would have never started using this app if it wasn’t free to begin with and now I’m frustrated I have so much documented on an app that I will no longer use. Don’t even bother downloading!!! If the last two years are any indication of what is to come it’s going to continue to raise their prices and limit what you can do on the app. Here’s to hoping FamilyAlbum app doesn’t cause me this frustration. Way to ruin a beautiful thing. Truly don’t understand why the price has to be so outrageous..Version: 5.66.1

Updated Review::Update::: I have now had this app for 4 years. 4 years of memories, laughter, sharing with friends and family for them to decide to start charging a monthly subscription fee. I started using this app because it was free, not because it was bug free or exceptionally easy to use. You can only download 20 pictures at a time and half the time it stalls and I have to restart. The videos are on 30 seconds long and can only add one at a time. The filters, stickers and add one have never been updated or improved to where I externally edit my pictures then add them in. But it was a great place to gather my pictures and videos I didn’t want on social media but still wanted to share. You had me for 4 years and I have promoted them to everyone! But you have now lost me. Will not pay for this app!!! I have truly enjoying this app to be able to share pictures of my child without putting it all out on the internet! Only thing is it is very slow about uploading new pictures and especially videos, I wish this could be worked out! I never used to have a problem but in recent months is has gotten slower! Other than that, I still use and enjoy the app!.Version: 5.24.0

Not worth paying forIf you are a new user - I don’t believe the service is worth paying a subscription for. Hosting a shared album on iCloud or another online drive would be as easy (or easier). There is no comment threading to let you reply or have conversations, the UI can be very clunky, and scrolling through an album older than a few weeks takes a while to load up - so you might as well just create a shared album! Also now that they have removed the free option and everyone has to pay, be aware that if you commit to this service they can do it again later and jack the prices up, and you may feel like you’re stuck and continue to pay even more. For older users - it feels a bit deceptive to suddenly have to pay for even the basic version of the app now. I understand if they want to change their business model, but for this type of product you would think they would allow legacy users to continue using the ad-filled free version, or offer a discounted one off payment or something similar - but of course they are relying on the fact that they have thousands of users who feel trapped and have sunk lots of time and energy into setting this up and uploading photos over the years, and older relatives have been taught how to use it, so they hope users will feel like it’s too difficult to switch their huge library to another service and they will cop the subscription fees..Version: 5.23.0

Don’t recommend. Forcing long timers to payI feel blackmailed into paying for a subscription after 3 years worth of photos. What happened to your promise of always being a free version? I wouldn’t have minded paying but I don’t see the value. There are still ads on the premium. You have removed sine previous premium features like bulk album download. The interface is sluggish and outdated. Don’t recommend new users use this app and I have already started using another app. Most of your 5 star ratings don’t apply as they are for the old versions. Honestly so rude what you’ve done..Version: 5.25.0

Mixed feelings...With a large family, spread across the globe, this app has allowed us to share all the special moments of our son’s life in a safe a secure way. We love the simplicity of the calendar view and the flashbacks are a great reminder of moments we might have forgotten. The slideshow feature also came in handy for our son’s first birthday party, where we had it hooked up to a projector. I had no hesitation in paying the subscription fee if it meant the developer could continue to improve the app and add more features. In terms of app updates, they are quite regular (at least a few a month), but I haven’t see anything more than bug fixes for the last 10 months. In terms of new features - honestly its pretty much the same app as it was 3 years ago when we started using it. I’d love to see the app take advantage of iOS widgets for example. Where I have really been left disappointed however, is in two specific areas: firstly, the app performance when it comes to viewing pictures and especially video - it can be painfully slow regardless of how good your internet connection is. The second, is the fact that this app is about 10 years old now and they still haven’t added landscape mode for iPads! This is the ONLY app on my iPad that doesn’t have landscape mode and I honestly can’t figure out what is stopping the developers from adding such a simple and obvious feature. 3 stars from me, unless I see some improvements in performance and features..Version: 5.13.0

Quality degraded so as to be almost unusableChoosing photos and videos to share in this app has always been challenging but it’s recently become so difficult so as to make the ap unusable. You have to use their custom photo selection interface rather than the native one you’re used to in every other app. This results in only limited access to your photos and repeated views of the photos it does display for you. It’s incredibly frustrating and results will in an overall inability to actually share the photos and videos you want to share. I’ve reached out to the developer to complain and they’ve explained they’re not planning to fix the issue any time soon. Also, there’s an incredible level of noise from “prompts” and ads/sponsored content in the feed. This content appears even after you’ve paid for a subscription. What’s more, the app makes you experience so many “flashbacks” you start to feel like a middle-aged hippie. It would be nice to be able to turn them off, but they in fact form the main interface of the app. Many people I invited to view our posts couldn’t find the new posts for all the flashbacks. What’s more, there is no landscape mode. So if you’re an iPad user and you use a keyboard, the app will appear sideways for you, really limiting the functionality of the app and making it very difficult to enter posts. This app is the best of the bunch, but it still has a ways to go from a positive user experience perspective, namely: ditch the ads for paid users, reduce the “flashbacks” noise in the feed, and - most importantly - enable a landscape view like every other contemporary iOS app..Version: 5.66.0

Great concept, frustrating to useUpdating from a previous review, now I’ve worked out some features. Great concept, could be more user friendly. The basic news feed only shows cropped versions of each photo. Through calendar you can view full size photos from each day by scrolling. Which is ok if there are multiple photos every day, but when there is only one or two it’s still quite annoying. I do understand the problems of loading lots of content and not having everything in the feed, but would prefer to see a lower quality pic that wasn’t cropped, so I could work our from brief view whether it’s a photo I want to see more clearly..Version: 4.22.2

Randomly started charging a subscriptionSuddenly charging a subscription?? Not cool..Version: 5.22.0

Love the concept but so many privacy issuesI’ve been using Tinybeans for 4 years. We love it and use it daily to keep our families up to date on what we get about. It’s great for that. I’ve had family members remind me how grateful they are that we share memories daily. Now the bad stuff…like many others, I’m sensing a decline in the app and the service ever since they started charging. I get marketing emails from Tinybeans (for some partners they are funded by, I presume) despite turning off all marketing emails. It’s like every 3 months they reset my settings. The other thing that is starting to bother me more and more is the loose privacy…I’ve seen a few instances where I unexpectedly could see the email addresses and names of people who are subscribed to a friends journal (not ours!). I was shocked to see this and honestly worried now that our photos and data isn’t all that safe? I’ve had a few strikes and I’m willing to give it another shot but I’m on my last life line with them before I take my memories elsewhere..Version: 5.56.1

Shame about subscriptionI have really enjoyed using this app to keep family and friends up to date with photos especially during covid lockdowns however I’m extremely saddened to see I will now need to pay a monthly/annual subscription just to upload photos. Tinybeans offered a premium (paid) service as optional previously so it’s a shame that they have now made this mandatory. I will no longer be using the app..Version: 5.23.0

VERY disappointedI am VERY dissatisfied and disappointed with tiny beans. I have been using this app for the past 6 years and have now been forced to pay for the premium version. In The past three years the app has gone from free to $40 to $70 and now $75. This feels like extortion. It would have been very helpful to know Tinybeans intentions of these price increases before investing so much time and memories. l feel that they can continue to drive prices up for families who are already stretched so thin because we are invested so we will stay. Tinybeans needs to find a way to allow their current paid customers to download their already paid for content and leave!! Not to mention The app consistently has glitches and the load times are very slow. The Home Screen is filled with paid advertisements and articles and not user friendly. When I contacted the company their response was to drop down to the free version (20 pictures a month) and loose ALL of my already paid for photos. Hopefully they have a better solution this year. If you plan on joining the TB community be prepared for yearly price increases that you can’t get out of. I am so disappointed in what Tinybeans has become..Version: 5.66.1

Daily Treasures! The best idea ever! A must!If you love taking pictures of your family you have to have this app. I can’t find the words to sum it up but this app is AMAZING. Being a new mom, I post photos and videos of my baby almost daily. It is no more effort than to snap a picture as life happens and it captures our life in a organized easy to use way. It is so easy and so special to have and look back on. Our extended family- baby’ grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins- all live far away but here they are able to see our son every day and feel like they know him. If I can’t remember the exact date he first ate solid food, hey I can check Tiny Beans! I could go on and on... I recommended this app to about 7 other expecting moms and they are all crazy about it too! The premium membership price is pretty high, but there is a free version. I only wish I had known about it from day one, but we started when our guy was 2 months old. He’s now turning ONE YEAR OLD! What a GIFT to be able to look back over (almost) each day of his first year! THANK YOU, Tiny Beans! 💕.Version: 3.23.1

So disappointedWe love the functionality of this app, we have been using it for 6 years. It’s meant the world to us. It was a little frustrating when we had to move from the free version to a forced paid version to stay on the app, but we live far from all of our family and it allowed them to get to know our kids from afar with daily photos and videos, in a safe place. So we paid. Now, another price increase that I only found out about through word of mouth - no big announcement that I have seen. And it’s $75 a month to be able to share daily photos of our children. Apparently there is a free version with ads, but they allow 20 photos a month? That’s not even one photo a day. Our family looks forward to these emails daily, it’s a bright spot in an sometimes very gloomy world, and due to this greed and someone’s idea that suddenly tiny beans has to be more than it was so perfectly before, we suffer and our families lose out. We stayed and paid before because we had invested so much into the app with our memories from 4-5 years, but this feels like emotional extortion - they feel that they can continue to drive prices up for families who are already stretched so thin because we are invested so we will stay. Sadly, I think it’s time to find a way to transfer these memories to another program and move on. I hope TB reconsiders and puts the families who have been so loyal to this app first again..Version: 5.65.0
