Now with IOS 13 you can pair your DUALSHOCK or your XBOX CONTROLLER to play on your iPhone or iPad how freaking cool is that!!!! Well and for some reason is not letting me throw bombs with any button on my controller. I literally spent years playing with the screen buttons and never got used to it and never thought that IOS 13 was gonna let us pair our controllers. Anyway... It just lets me shoot and jump. ✓ Perfect port except 2 little problemsThe port is just perfect, really is nice to have a real Metal Slug on iphone. My only trouble is that sometimes, for no reason at all, the buttons becomes invisible and I get all mixed in my commands. Also, it would be nice to have infinite credits because I always played and enjoyed Metal Slug without caring about the credits (always played it on consoles). ✓ Very nice!Metal Slug! A childhood addiction. Definitely a time-killer for me. Everything is perfect, just like what you would normally see in an arcade, just that it's touch-screen. True, it takes away the fun in mashing buttons, but who said we couldn't' mash the screen? However, I gave it only four stars as the controls are kind of hard to master, especially when I'm going to jump and attack. It's kind of hard to control the directions.. Also, the multiplayer thing is cool, however I'm not sure if the problem is with me, but when I do multiplayer, I seem to lag too much that it's unplayable. I followed the instructions to turn Wifi off as well, but that only made things worse. It would have been fun if I could play the game properly with my friends...Version: 1.2.2

✓ Excellent PortA bit hard to play with the touchscreen, and often feels like turning and moving happen too slow, but this is inevitable on a touch device. The choice between arcade and mission mode is nice and the ability to save replays is awesome. A functionality I'd like to see is if you wait too long at the menu screen, one of your own replays starts to play (as with the arcade machines) All in all, this is an excellent port of my favorite entry in the Metal Slug series..Version: Ver.1.00

✓ Arcade Greatness !!!Classic Arcade shmup greatness the Neo Geo way and all in the palm of your hand. However needs update for iPhone 5 screen (NOT just a stretched screen). Maybe a 'Classic/Original' normal untouched screen-format mode setting within options and a new 'Big Action' iPhone 5 widescreen default mode when the game senses its running on iPhone 5 hardware. Naturally a HD version for iPhone 5 would be something that many may desire, however it's understandable that being 2D the painstaking human artwork has already been done long ago and that it would be too much of an epic undertaking to redo. But at least an iPhone 5 screen update would be just some tweaking of software and therefore software generated after (No screen stretching please as it's not the same)..Version: Ver. 1.1

✓ MFI controls need work.First, the good: the game truly is a perfect port of one of the greatest standup arcade games ever made. The downsides are the touch controls are less than elegant and the MFI controls, which would be perfect, don’t map correctly on many devices. Only the jump and shoot buttons work on my two Steel Series controllers. No grenade button. That said, the mapping on my 8BitDo SNES game pad is perfect! Perfect. And so is the playing experience. 5 stars for joy—minus one for imperfect device mapping..Version: 1.3.1

✓ I love all 3 versions of this game but....My but is ever since the update awhile ago, I think last year? They closed up the black parts of the screen and made the buttons bigger and higher in the screen. I have a harder time now playing the game then I did before cause as I am blasting away guys. Where my jump and shoot buttons are my fingers block enemy movements. Gets really annoying fast when trying to do perfect runs on a levels. I liked it better when the buttons were smaller and lower in the screen instead of bigger and up higher. I wish you guys would either move the buttons lower again or give the option to move them. ✓ Amazing!Metal Slug is one of my favourite arcade games of all time! Especially number 3. I have been waiting for a Metal Slug App for a long time and this hasn't disappointed, it's even got 2 player Bluetooth that I was hoping and praying for, it's a must add addition. The games great just how I remembered it. I don't think the graphics need any improvement they are the same, just how they used to be and that's fine. Maybe you could add fat island but other then that this is a great old school classic. If possible please make another Metal Slug perhaps 7? Controls are similar to many other touch screen games on iOS, they can get you killed every so often but their doable. This game is tough, but that's the hole point, you learn the routines of the enemy's and bosses untill you progress.
