✓ Makes my photos unrecognizableI've used (and loved) a lot of photo apps, so I'm not sure why I'm getting such terrible results from this app. There seems to be no way to adjust how the filter interprets your photo. So I spend lots of time in other apps, trying to change contrast and white balance so this app can give me a recognizable result. Instead, I keep getting results that are too light, too dark, or just look like random parts of the photo were erased. Disappointing..Version: 2.2

✓ Not as expectedDon't buy this. All the photos to sell this app look cool. When I try my own or stock photos from the web, they are anything but cool. Maybe if I stop back 20 feet I'd get the effect, but close up its nothing but washed blurred preset colors. No was to adjust the intensity of the effect, or dial your own color, which might help the quality, I'm left with a uselss app. Not worth 99¢ let alone 2.99.Version: 2.2
✓ Useless App - In My Experience and opinionThis app just crashes constantly on my iPad which runs system 12.0.1. And when I take a picture to use from within the app, the choices are, use this picture, or, retake and neither button works - the screen just freezes. This app is useless to me. ✓ Buzz KillThe pictures and reviews built this app up and I had high hopes, but I gotta say I'm a little bummed. The effects have no option to adjust strength or transparency and they simply drown out about 75% of the pics I try to edit. The pic has to be just right in brightness and contrast, or the subject gets drowned out and there's nothing you can really do about it. A simple option to adjust the effect strength would make a huge difference..Version: 2.2

✓ Cute, butPersonally, I really dont appreciate that the saved images carry a bunch of unwanted information with them when posted to Facebook (etc). Even when saved first to the camera roll, the image i tried to post included a bunch of text about the filters and colour scheme I used, as though my friend needs that on her wall. I want to share the image I made, not an ad for the app. PS You'll find you need to use a photo taken with a better camera than your iPad's to get a recognizable image in the end..Version: 2.0

✓ Good startBut there are some cons: Unnatural looking edges, like crystallise filter in photoshop. No way to control threshold. If the desired detail is too light, the only way to get it painted is to perform external image correction before popsicoloring it. Slow. It is really slow, but for me it is not a problem if producing more realistic result..Version: 1.0.1

✓ AverageThis app is just one of many that does a barely-adequate job of making photos look like natural-media works. The results look as though they have been converted by computer and are not very convincing.
