✓ On the fencePretty fun game in the beginning. The levels progress nicely for a while getting more and more complicated as you go. Problem is that the developers DON’T make any concession for the players ability plateau. In other words, you’ll only go as far as your reaction ability let’s you. After that, sorry about your bad luck…your left with having to skip checkpoint after checkpoint finally getting to the point of saying F…U… to the developers..Version: 3.4.4
✓ Great game with room to improveEvery level is different in one way or another. There are a LOT of levels to play and the ability to create your own levels means you can nearly play the game forever without running out of something to do. The backgrounds and sound effects are great and different mechanics mix things up. However, some levels are frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. This can discourage me from playing for too long before I get annoyed. I recommend this game to anyone who can afford it. 3/5.Version: 3.3
✓ Starts getting badI remember seeing this game a long time ago I never thought much of it, but one day I decided to buy it, and I was amazed by how fun it was, and I always think I should’ve bought should of bought it when I was 7 or 8. ✓ Ok, so you're some kind of cosmic flea...This game has no explanation of the mechanics whatsoever. You're supposed to discover that holding down accelerates you upwards, and if you don't do anything, you'll accelerate downwards. It leaves you to find out for yourself what the various things in the environment do. Don't even consider a story line. The powerups, especially speed up time and slow down time, are hard to distinguish. People praise the graphics, but really, making everything a shadow is just lazy. Is that spiked thing a cutting wheel? A bomb? A sticky thing that kills you? Which parts of the world can be moved and which are fixed? Why don't you just bang around and see for yourself? There are some interesting mechanics, so it's still worth a shot..Version: 1.4

✓ Way to hard and boringStarted well and fun. Graphics great, environment quite nice, but very quickly becomes way to hard, most games success being on luck more than strategy, some even seem impossible to finish and one at one point, if not completed, could not skip to try another one. So... Not my kind of game. When push comes to shove, I just look for something more creative and possible to solve by ingenuity and strategy, not by trying 3000 times accompanied with anxiety. I prefer playfulness. Bio Shock, Myst, Limbo and Inside much more fun and doable. But that’s me... Am I the only one ?.Version: 3.4.3
✓ If you like skipping levels, you may like this gameCompleted day 1, day 2, daydream and doomsday stages, some levels were very difficult. If you like skipping puzzles, this is for you, yes just click skip. If you don’t, like me, I suggest you don’t get this game. Completed 30 levels out of 100+ in Eternal day so far and a lot of the levels were super difficult. Just finish the level “Long Day” a History of Badland, that took me 15 minutes to 20 minutes to finish?! And some levels before that, took me an hour or less. Just not worth the time figuring out something that is too ridiculous. But like I said, you can always click skip. 3 out 5..Version: 3.4.3

✓ The gameplay is not enough...Badland is beautiful and somewhat addictive, but it has one fatal flaw. There seems to be no plot at all, and as the difficulty curve picks up and the levels become extremely tough, the game offers no motivation to persist when frustration sets in. Without a storyline to back up the gameplay, it ends up feeling like a pointless exercise. The graphics and sounds are rich and immersive, and the terrain is full of challenging traps and obstacles that require considerable dexterity and quick thinking to overcome. But if you want all that, plus a well-presented storyline that motivates you to keep going until the end, then forget about Badland and play Leo's Fortune..Version: 3.3.3

✓ This game has controller support? Just why?Bought this game because it was advertised as compatible with the Nimbus. But there’s literally one function to the game which is ‘fly’ and all buttons default to that same function. Not to mention, the menus and create a level are not compatible with the controller. They literally only gave it controller comparability for the Fly mechanic. Still have to tap screen to get through menus and such. Annoying. Not a game to play if you’re wanting to use your Steelseries Nimbus. This should be a touchscreen game only. Annoyed and wanting my money back..Version: 3.4.3

✓ WAS such a great game!This was a really, really good game before they made the fundamental changes that, in my opinion, pretty much ruined it. This was a unique game in that there were no goals except to get your little guy/s to the exit in whatever way you can. There was something so wonderfully Zen in that experience but now they have completely ruined that. Instead of leaving it unique they have fallen victim to the "me too" disease that absolutely PLAGUES the App Store by doing the whole "star for mini challenges in every level" thing that every other developer is doing. Due to the (purposely) clunky controls that simulates the poor little guys trying to overcome the unfortunate builds of their bodies, tiny wings and big, ungainly torsos, this just ends up being an exercise in pure frustration when through no fault of yours but rather the control scheme that that 7th clone you need to save to get the challenge star gets jagged in a corner of a branch and you have to start the whole...level...over...to try again. Nope! Not having fun anymore! Such a shame, this game was fantastic as it was. I just wish the developer could have resisted the urge to copy what every other game is doing and keep the uniqueness that really made this game stand out. Dang it..Version: 1.90
✓ No content moderation at all, full of bullies!My 8 year old son absolutely loved the concept of the game, unfortunately it is full of nasty children or adults even that name him, put rude comments, gestures, violent remarks. Reporting levels for offensive content doesn’t make a difference. Make sure you are aware before letting your children play this..Version: 3.4.4
✓ As expectedWould appeal to the casual gaming crowd - Jetpack Joyride, Angry a Birds, Super Meat Boy. However, once you make it past the first 20 or so levels, the difficulty ramps up, the novelty wears off and soon you are faced with a repetitively frustrating time full of infinite deaths and iPads being thrown out of windows. All for what really? If you enjoy games that that make you angry enough to punch puppies in the face then don't hesitate and download now. No in app purchases to be seen,(which is awesome) and just like other touch games with similar level selection, there's always the possibility of the developers adding more in the future. Doesn't work with multitasking on my iPad 2. I would have released the game with half the levels at 1.99. Players would get their sense of achievement from completion, and yet remain hungry for a sequel. (Another 1.99) For now it's just too much of the same thing. Was fun while it lasted, too bad it was only a couple of hours. 5/5 for sound, graphics. 4/5 for originality. 3/5 for completion appeal..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Too difficultThere’s a difference between challenging and frustrating and this game borders on the latter for many later stages. I finally got to a point where it just wasn’t worth it anymore when one spot on one level is so mind numbingly difficult, what’s the point? Most of the game I’d give 4 or 5 out of 5 but because of these stupid-hard levels, I’m so fed up with the game, enough to rate it low. When there’s only ONE way to get past something and if you don’t do it perfectly you’ll fail every time? That’s not good game design, it’s just sadistic. I’m done with this game. It’s visual splendor and in most cases good game mechanics have been ruined by the small percentage of levels that make you want to pull your hair out. Sad..Version: 3.4.3

✓ Adult Content in user created levels! 9+???My daughter loves to play Badlands. She especially loves user created content. The game is rated at 9+. Yesterday I noticed very inappropriate sexual content in user designed levels. She kept asking what was happening in the level. If developer does not remove this content please step in and remove the rating on this game. I didn't think Apple would even allow something like this. Very disappointed. ✓ Almost great.Frustrating enough to delete. The character is deliberately too clumsy to enjoy. Beautiful backgrounds, great levels and mechanics but if I fail 20 times because the stupid character is upside down and won’t flap when I press and the scrolling kills by artificially constraining the time… making die 20 times to learn to do it exactly right in a way I could never get right or see coming first time equals frustration not fun.
