✓ Well done app.I really like it, except you cannot make custom terms. You can only set payment terms by date. I typically use 50% down and the remaining balance after delivery. I have to list this in the comments and I set my payment terms for the end of the month. Also, you can record expenses, but I would like to be able to apply expenses to a specific invoice to show not only the cost of what is being sold, but other details such as food or fuel used on delivery and any other items needed for emergency repairs for small projects that are just listed as one item on the invoice. The client will see that one item, but I will see all expenses consumed for that one item. I do custom furniture so a lot goes into one item listed on the order and prices change a lot on material and supplies..Version: 10.15.1
✓ Great app and keeps getting betterI work in film production and this app has become an essential part of my business. From keeping track of clients and payments to customizing billable items and discounts. With the recent addition of separating parts and labor, it’ll be a great tool for helping clients understand that these are two SEPARATE things. With that being said, even more customization would be very helpful as not all business models are the same and clients would be more comfortable seeing terms they are familiar with. Also, as a freelancer, the ability to attach pdf forms would be incredibly helpful as I nearly always am required to provide employment documents (W9s, etc) with each new client. Having the ability to bundle that with my invoice would help to streamline the whole process and make getting paid happen that much quicker..Version: 10.37.1

✓ What’s happened to itBeen using invoice to go for years, it WAS easy to use and a great app. Now! since the update it is so frustrating that I am going to delete this app and try another one. Please tell me, why, when something is so simple to use you mess with it, complicated, every time I fill a section in and save it goes back to portrate mode, stuff is added that you just do not need and I’m sat here 10 minutes waiting for it to transfer to emails so I can send my invoice and it looks like it’s not going to do it. ✓ Excellent app with a few bugs that let it down.Currently using the pro version of this app an it has really made doing invoicing fun. In its current state it is very functional but has a few annoying bugs that will frustrate some. Their are ways to counter most bugs but the main issue I found was making custom invoice templates. The system they have in place is basically unusable. As a photographer an a videographer I'm used to design work with layers, fonts and file types but most functions don't work or are missing altogether. I hope this is resolved in later updates which would make this app amazing..Version: 7.6.0

I started using Moon Invoice, cheaper app. Only problems with it was it took time to learn it and the amount of bugs and issues it had. Not good when your trying send invoices out! ✓ AmazingGreat app all my invoicing is done from my I phone and has been for the last 4 years. Sadly it’s become too expensive, it’s not that my business can not afford it, it is just good business practice not to pay £150 when it can be done with another app which does exactly the same with the same reliability, but just looks different. ✓ Great appNow that most people like to pay by bank transfers, I was sometimes forgetting to check if my customers had actually paid, and no doubt missed many that hadn’t paid. I saw this “Invoices2go” app and thought I would give it a try. Absolutely delighted with it, and not having great computer knowledge I got fantastic support from their help team, “Richard E”, sorted out my enquiries straight away, he could not have been more helpful. I see some comments about costs etc, well nobody can work for nothing, so why should “Invoices2go”. I used to send my invoices by post, just think about that cost, paper, ink, envelopes stamps, now I just press a button, and if it’s not paid in time I get a reminder to say it’s not been paid. When you think you get a 90 day money back offer, how can you go wrong. I say test it out with a positive attitude and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again “Invoices2go”. ✓ Staff members and other logosApp is great, really easy to submit invoices and quotes to customers. Could do with being able to track staff who are out and about in a works van. If they have the app on another works device. I could track their whereabouts and delegate new jobs accordingly. Also they could get the customer to sign the screen which would then invoice them straight away. Could also do with being able to add other accreditation logos to invoices and quotes etc, just to make the business stand out more from the rest. Other than that love the system!.Version: 10.104.0
✓ ExcellentSo far so good, we have been using i2g for 4 months & have found it a brilliant tool for our business. Firstly a simple thing like converting a quote to an invoice saves so much time. Customers can accept a quote & pay by stripe, again this saves us so much time & phone calls. Just having all the sales, outstanding balances in one place makes it so easy to keep track of. Being able to use it from 4 pc’s at the same time is great & having the app on your phone for when you can’t get to a pc is a godsend. Invoice2go is far better than I could of asked for, very easy to use & easy to customise. At the start I had a couple of questions which the online team answered straight away & were extremely helpful. Amazing value & a great tool in making our business more professional. ✓ After 3 years, I’m switching appsDo I really need to pay MORE money just to see invoices that I’ve already made? It’s also dumb that you don’t get more available clients each year you resign up, the first year you get 50, the second year you pay just to keep the 50 from the first year making the second years payment worth less in a way. I would pay to upgrade but I worry that when I upgrade I still will have to pay more to use features I need for my business. They get you on price, unless you pay for the unlimited invoice per month they limit you terribly on how many invoices you can send so it’s either pay for the unlimited or your only allowed to send 2-5 invoices a month. ✓ Amazing tool.Being a one man band, I’ve found this app amazing along with the back up in the early days when I was setting it up. I’ve used it on two businesses and in excess of 10 years. Invoices take two seconds and you can have as much or as little info on them as you like. The way you can flick between years and do reports is really useful too, everything is so clear. If there are any faults, mine can take a while to update between my phone and the iPad, it seems to think people when they don’t and if it had a payment method linked on your phone where a watch or card can just pay, it would be even more amazing. ✓ Loosing estimates and invoicesDo not waste your time or money! I have used this software for years and have dealt with many issues over the years such as using different platforms that the software doesn’t like and corrupts invoices or custom templates that then created problems between the app and desktop syncing. I have done everything to keep this simple (I own an IT/network company so I hope I know what I’m doing!) I only ever use one PC (not the app) for creating invoices/estimates, it’s hard wired and I have a fantastic internet connection, I only ever use Chrome and even though the whole point it is to be able to use multiple platforms, invoice ‘on the go’ I stripped it back and still I am loosing documents, I can go back to an invoice/estimate and it has lost lines or the doc completely. Because of the issues over the years, I alway save a copy in PDF to my pc and never email directly from I2G, so on my PC I can have one invoice that has been generated from I2G, I log back onto the software and the invoice is completely different. The support is now absolutely terrible, it’s taken two weeks for a chap Called Esprit to first of all tell me they are sorry, the next email says he requested info and I hadn’t sent it, he hadn’t so I responded and asked what info had he requested, to which I got a response, I never requested any info, confused....., yes so am I, so good bye Invoice2go, absolutely shocking..Version: 10.69.1

✓ Shocking appBe warned. Make sure you switch off card payments every time you send an invoice. It obviously set up to try get your customers to pay by card so they can charge you. Twice this has happened to me. I have no financial agreement whatsoever with them yet they still take payments on your behalf. Then they hold your money for up too 10 days. I will be reporting to the FSA as I gave me permission for them to take my clients money. You shouldn’t have too opt out but opt in. Shocking set up.Version: 10.55.2

✓ Great app, have a few suggestionsLove this app and have been using it between multiple businesses for a few years now. It would be great to see an option for a deleted invoices so you can track invoice numbers even when theyre deleted. That way theres no question where an invoice ended up. If possible, it would be nice to see the cost of an item posted to the invoice as well. Theres an option to add this but I havent seen a option to translate this to the pdf. We use this option when we rent gear to folks. Also, if there was a calendar option to track what items you have are out at which times that would be great. ✓ Efficient ++This is an amazingly efficient way to send out my monthly invoices. Once you have set up your contacts it is very easy to bill your clients. It e mails the invoice at the tap of a button. The downside I may not have learned yet is how to credit the account with a return and the comments area is very small print. Did know one even test it out beforehand. The app has been updated and improved with numerous updates. It is a lot better to use now but with reporting you still have to email the report to yourself. ✓ PDF Feature RequestI’m currently testing this app to find the best one to manage my business. I have been using the trial period to get to know the app and see what features are available. The main feature that the app doesn’t currently support that I would use a lot personally is the ability to attach documents from the files app. When filling out an expense for example, you can attach a photo or take a photo of the receipt so that you have a digital copy of the receipt on the expense form. However there’s no other option to attach say a PDF or file that isn’t in the photos app. The only work around that I can see is I would have to screenshot the PDF and then attach the screenshot to the expense. It’s not that big of a deal but when I get most of my receipts digitally it would make a huge difference to my efficiency of documenting expenses if I can simply attach a PDF from the files app to an expense form (or invoice for that matter) rather then having to filter everything through the files app. I would rate this app 5 Star if it had this request! ✓ Use to be goodI am one of the original customer off invoice 2 go, I paid for the app and bought it after a few years the company decided to charge for the service yearly instead of selling the app, so they decided to not update the app for the original owners to make them pay for the service wile we but it! At the same time there was enough bug to slow down the service and having so many issues to make everybody gave up on their purchase. ✓ Great app for making invoicing easierI am a carpenter and don’t love the paperwork side of being in business for myself so anything to make that easier is appreciated. I have used this app for two years and never had any regrets about the app. I do warn you about not using the credit card payment feature, which is processed through Stripe. I had a large payment get accepted by Stripe, that Stripe then refused to pay out on. It took two months and threats of legal action by both myself and my client who made the payment before Stripe would refund my client their money. I refuse to ever do business with Stripe again, but I continue to use the app because it’s worth it..Version: 10.154.1

However, this month the old version was no longer to be supported. So, I decided to bite the bullet and try the newer app on the basis if it went wrong I would just find a new app that worked for me. I have been really happy with the upgrade and experienced no problems. All went smoothly and I like the improved functionality and reporting. ✓ Bad companyI have been using Invoice2go for 2-3years now. Although it is quick and easy to use it has its flaws. Originally when I signed up the plans were also very reasonable and now it costs more than an accountant. 1. A pay by credit card button. I disabled this, but if you accidentally put it back on it stays on until you realise that your customers are paying this way and both get charged an extortionate amount. 2. Duplicate invoices. If you resend an invoice it automatically adds it again to final total so in affect bumping your earnings up. I nearly made this mistake which would’ve cost a fortune in tax. 3. Extortionate payment plans for minimal invoices and client limits. If you go to quickbooks it is half the price and unlimited. ✓ I’ve paid for the service twice and it keeps telling me that my free trial is overI paid for a month the first time and it told me that my free trial was up and all of my invoices and client info was lost. I then bought a year of service because I really did like the app. After 30 days the notice for my free trial period ending came up and it won’t recognize that I have paid for a year and will only let me look at subscriptions. What a rip, I was at a job trying to do an estimate when this happened and had no way to generate or submit my estimate. I’m very rarely working self employed but when I do I can quickly knock up an invoice before leaving a job and email it across before I go to my next. In minutes I have a professional looking invoice. It would be nice to have an option of adding voice memos, for awkward customers that don’t want to pay up. ✓ Loads of functionsSeems to be good so far with all the options I need like time keeping and ability to upload photos to estimates and invoices. There is the option to add payment functionality to invoices too which is great. A nice clear interface too. I’d like to possibly integrate with my bank account for payment tracking but haven’t looked into this yet. I used to use ServiceBridge through a company I worked for and this seems to have most of the functionality at a much smaller cost. But heeey...We get it, it’s that sweet grey matter of FinTech possibilities, either you’re “neutral” or on the deep & disparaging ends of history. ✓ Getting worseI hate that I only have the energy to write a review when this software is having issues but here it is. I started my construction business in 2011 and have used this app since day one. It’s been great for me and I’ve turned many other contractors on to it. The interface used to be simple and easy to use. I understand that companies must evolve and grow with demand but it would have been better to leave well enough alone. There is nothing more frustrating than spending an hour on an invoice or estimate only to have it randomly deleted or zeroed out after saving. Server/cloud issues are becoming more normal than not. I’m furious and don’t know how to move forward now that I’m invested into it. This has been going on for months and a couple updates. I’ve remained patient as these issues are expected with iOS updates and whatnot. A day or two is acceptable but not this amount of time. Update. Developer responds- we don’t know of this. Yet I’ve emailed for the last couple months and the response I get is “sorry. This is a known issue. We are working to fix”. Your public p.r response does not match private response. The original features were simple but effective and as they say done exactly what it says on the tin. I have upgraded and re subscribed and am now on the pro plan. I had a notification saying my memory was all used up and can’t put any more pictures on my quotes so went to see how I can get more and find it wants me to pay £20 a month. £20 A MONTH just so I can add more pictures. I’m deeply saddened by Invoice2go apparent need to price their loyal customers out of the service they provide. I have no problem with the updates but surely the costs are out of control. Presently we have one customer who is receiving all credit card payment information and invoices from any payment we try and process. Although these features can be turned off, They mysteriously get turned back on during updates. Happened to me and a client mistakenly paid a 3k invoice by credit card and now I’m stuck waiting 5-10 days to get paid. 3% credit card fees plus transaction charge, plus 5-10 days waiting period to get my money all from an app I PAY to use $100 a year ! Search function is still garbage, the only way to make it work is to type in the word in the search bar but DO NOT hit the search button. Also, constant with the login issues, sometimes just can’t login and there’s a message saying contact us, go to their website and OH, we’re having difficulties again. ✓ Credit card paymentsI've been using invoice to go for several years with no issue, until now. We just started accepting credit card payments through invoice 2 gos offering of stripe. Which they should be responsible for since they accept it as a company. I had a client pay 18000 via credit card and now his money is floating around some where and not even showing up on stripe as a payment , it's been over 2 weeks. Invoice 2 go has not been helpful whatsoever blaming everything on stripe. Stripe has been more than helpful and is saying invoice to go has missed a step. Two reps have said the same thing. We asked for a refund and they said it was up to stripe to refund the money. The money that stripe haven't received. Been with invoice to go for 8 years and looking for a new option. ✓ Extra featuresI love this app! However I’ve come across two features that I would love! The first is the ability to sort my expenses by Merchant, not just category. Having the ability to see how much I’ve spent at each merchant would be a feature I would use a lot. Secondly the ability to recover deleted expenses and invoices. For example, if there was a folder the deleted invoices and expenses go into for say 30 days, this way you can recover it if you change your mind. This will be handy if after deleting something, a few days later circumstances change and you realise you need to recover it but because this is not possible you have to create a whole new invoice/expense.
