✓ I regret updating to v4.03Do not update to v4.03. All the clickmixes previously stored on my phone for offline use, are gone now. ✓ Not a fan.Much prefer the OLD version of PowerMusic1. I was mortified to get to my class, switch on my app and have all my old downloads & fave tracks gone. Improvised my class to Spotify that day. Not only is the music gone, the timer is shonky and has a ‘3’ behind every number?! Songs that are 4:03 minutes, listed at 34:03. Timer at 30 is actually 0? Not good enough when I’m paying $20 per month for an app that has suddenly lost SO much quality. ✓ The app works fine but big issues with subscription processI tried to cancel my subscription this month, thinking I would still be able to access the music through the end of the month. (Apple states that this is the policy under the subscription info in my phone). This is actually not true, and you lose access as soon as you cancel. So there is some discrepancy between the app developers and Apple. After trying to restart my subscription, I was unable to get any access to the music. Each time I tried to play music, the app would inform me that I needed to subscribe. When I would click “subscribe”, it would tell me I was already subscribed. I tried this several times and it didn’t work. So I contacted customer service and they directed me to the website, through which I unsubscribed with the old account and set up a new account. That one worked fine. However a few days ago I was billed for the old account anyway. I contacted customer service again and they told me they couldn’t refund me and I had to go through Apple. I attempted to get a refund through Apple. As soon as I submitted my refund request with a description of why I was asking for one, my request was immediately denied. So it seems like there are issues with either the app itself, or Apple, or both, and no one will take responsibility for this. I’d really like a refund but it doesn’t seem possible. I would not recommend this app for that reason. Unfortunate because the app itself was pretty nice..Version: 4.1.6

✓ Great When It WorksDoesn’t seem to be recent comments (perhaps I’m mistaken), so I thought I’d write one. Pros: -great selection of music -nice to use ClickMix to make a custom playlist -convenient to be able to adjust BPM Cons: -takes a long time to finalize -Doesn’t always finalize (playlists are just left there) -Loads the playlist in the player but keeps reverting to the previous playlist -takes a long time for playlists to load to be able to download, and that takes a long time A lot of kinks to iron out but if you plan ahead it’s workable. Suggestions to PowerMusic: -allow people to name their device as opposed to a generic device name (iPhone) gets confusing if you use 2 devices. -better customer service. Took over a month of multiple calls to fix the issues (error with account on their end). Long and short of it is, good for teaching, but expensive when you consider how slow and troublesome it can be..Version: 4.5.6

✓ Fitness professionalI had already purchased a tempo shifter but decided to get this one for the "gapless playback". I tried the same remix shown on the screenshots and not only did it skip worse than the app I already had, it also couldn't find the right BPM for some songs. For mixes with various BPM I found it couldn't lock to a constant BPM either. Hopefully these issues have been resolved in the latest update. But since I already had an app that works just as good or better in some cases, this was just a waste of money for me.Version: 1.1

✓ Not user friendlyNot as user friendly as iTunes or Zumba’s music app. You can’t just click on an album to play it - you have to download if first (expect to get many download error messages) and then create a playlist. One of their ‘how-to’ video links doesn’t work so you just have to figure it out for yourself. The only good thing is that you can access all of the Power Music albums (if you can figure out how to access them to play the songs - too many steps involved to play the music.i would rather like to play the albums on a different app..Version: 4.2.15
✓ Must have!!I love this app! It's an endless supply of music at my fingertips. I always have different music for my classes, and my participants appreciate it! I never get bored of the music and neither do they! I am so glad I bought this app and the subscription! So worth it! I had initially given this app a 5 star.. But as of late the app doesn't seem to work when I need it to.. It's always freezing, and take what seems like forever to confirm authorization for anything. Just now I wanted to download some new music for a class that I have starting in about 45min, and it's been confirming authorization for about 10 minutes now... Super frustrating....Version: 1.6.15
✓ Don't waste your time with this app!I used to use this app and liked it a lot but recently I am unable to create playlists. Every time I try to use the app I end up needing to call for technical service. Which is usually no help whatsoever. ✓ Great, if it was reliableLet’s get something straight here, Power has quality music and a great selection. My problem and reason for giving 3 stars? The app is glitchy. I can’t rely on it to always load for my classes. Sometimes I have entire playlists that disappear. Today, I was trying to create my own mix and it kept telling me my access is invalid even though I know I am up to date on payment and have logged in. I’ve contacted support a few times and they try to tell me that it’s fine, yet I clearly am having troubles. I have 3 other instructor, music apps and this is the only ones that gives me problems. Power would be my favorite if it was reliable,but I find myself recommending other music apps to instructors because it’s so glitchy..Version: 3.4.2

✓ Too many glitchesI definitely agree with others that this would be a great app IF it was reliable rather than so glitchy. There was a recent update and now if I edit a Clickmix, it starts blending in the old song even though that is no longer the song that should follow. Then there’s a skip and the song that should follow comes in. It really ruins the momentum in class. This is not the first time this issue has happened. Before, I had to add a different mix to the player, close the app, restart my iPad, reopen the app, and reload the clickmix I wanted to play in order for the transition to blend in the correct song. Well, that “fix” doesn’t even work this time. Please please pleeeease make this app consistently reliable. I’ve been using this app for years and have experienced several issues, it’s very frustrating and time is overdue to explore other options..Version: 4.1.1

I can’t even log into the app and the website doesn’t come up for me either which makes teaching stressful and getting a hold of technical almost impossible. ✓ Better player but still needs work ASAP!I am in general very happy with the updated version of the powermusic1 app now. I love the updated player and being able to see the playlist is very helpful. Also thank you for removing the constant need to verify and update the library. I am however quite unhappy with the fact that the playback of my clickmixes is less than ideal. I find that the player will skip tracks for no reason, still claim to be playing the correct track, then repeat the track it just played as it catches up with itself. A huge problem when you are teaching any class. I have had the player stop playing before the playlist has come to an end. Most recently I have noticed that a lot of the albums available for download through this app have duplicated tracks through out the entire album. Every track will play twice before moving to the next track. Once these issues have been dealt with I would very happily continue using this subscription and app but if they are not resolved, I will have to try another app and different company..Version: 2.0.35

✓ UnstableI don’t know if it’s my iPad, but the app can be very temperamental. Scrolling up and down can stick. Opening playlist can be very slow. If you accidentally touch the bottom of screen , you can lose the whole playlist. The procedure of edit playlist, dine , finalise, etc can be very slow and then some songs don’t come across and you have to refresh Which again can take a long time. ✓ Terrible appAwful and totally unreliable. Glitches out while downloading and teaching-destroyed the momentum of class-my first and last time using in a class prior to screening. For those teaching step/kick box or classes requiring the seamless transition from song to song keeping the 32 count, energetic beat AND BPM, then don’t waste your time on this. Directions say if you make a “playlist” it will not overlap songs BUT it says, if you make a click mix it will....UMMM not the case...it fades out and there’s a tiny break between songs AND the BPM starts slow and then speeds up after the intro. Boot camp type classes are probably okay with this music...those are probably the positive reviews you’ve read. Choreographed classes?....forget about it!!! Extremely disappointed in Power Music for allowing this rollout that has disrupted so many of us.....Version: 4.0.7

✓ FrustratedI use up to 5x weekly. This app worked for a short period of time. Now the app freezes, I have to delete and re-install before my classes and this happens at least 3x a week. ✓ I need chemotherapy after using this app.Put simply, this app is not fit for purpose. - The music options available all sound the same, and the quality akin to 5-month old milk. Anyone who remembers MIDI music from the first era of computers is in for a trip down memory lane. - The navigation is extremely buggy, with the app sometimes "jumping" up and down when scrolling, or switching at random to "search" and "now playing" - You have "browse" and "search" options for finding songs, but the "search" is often unable to find songs you can easily find by browsing. And heaven forbid you try to add any of those tracks to a playlist. - The search functionality itself is usless. If you search for a song, it will list every song that has any of the words in your search criteria. This makes finding tracks an overly complicated task. - When playing, the app has a habit of crashing, or skipping to the next track. This was humiliating in one of my classes when I had to reset the whole thing. All-in-all, this app has good intentions that are poorly implemented. User-friendliness and interactivity are hair-pullingly stressful. The app is extremely buggy, which is a shame because it could be so much more. The 1-star rating is me being generous..Version: 3.0.1

✓ Good song selection, not that reliableI have used this app for over a year. Overall it’s great for exercise instructors or those who work out regularly who want a variety of music. However, there are bugs and those make the app unreliable at times. I ended up getting another app as backup. I have reached out to the company letting them know, and the bugs on both the app and the website have not been addressed. Sometimes songs do not load on the app, meaning the entire playlist will not load, let alone play. I do like that they have a desktop option for making playlists, but their website is even more buggy. I wish they would take feedback more seriously. However, given the variety, usability, and option for building playlists with a computer I tolerate it (for the most part)..Version: 4.5.7

✓ How can they screw up something so simple?After years of ordering CD’s for my classes I finally decided to move to an app. Right from the get go I’ve had nothing but problems. The app won’t open. If it opens, it won’t save my playlist. If it saves the playlist it won’t open in the player. If it opens in the player it won’t ‘finalize’. If it finalizes, it won’t play more than one track in class. I’ve spent way too much time and data trying to get it to work. Anybody have suggestions about a better app???.Version: 4.0.2
