✓ MIX/MASTER option for iPhoneI waited a long time to get this. Only used GarageBand. In minutes this replaced 40% of GB use on iPhone (not iPad - due to financial, not technical, reasons.) Was looking for a way to MIX/MASTER using inter app audio, not auv3, and this exceeded my expectations as a great way to do both (on a phone) - AND for less than $5. Very intuitive use & gives more control over the final exported mix than GB. The dev also has a suite of respected, inexpensive MIX/MASTER apps that fills a void in phone-based music production. I wasn’t aware how much my creativity could be impacted by a function of utility. ✓ To the developer response about browser integrationI don't understand why you can't integrate a download browser... I can download anything that I want into Aloha Browser and keep it there or if I want I can press the share button and save it to Dropbox... From there I can download it into any music app that integrates with Dropbox including Audio Share... I’ve been using iPhones since the first day the original iPhone was released for sale in the United States. I think the date was June 29, 2007 or thereabouts. ✓ Great app, MAJOR bugI use Audioshare to sample audio and send recordings to other apps and it is a painless process up until sending the audio files to other apps. For some reason when a clip is shared and sent to any other app, the file is automatically deleted from Audioshare’s file library. Not just sent to the trash, it disappears entirely and there is no way to get it back. This app is so close to perfect but this bug is an enormous oversight. ✓ Very Important Music Production App!In my music production this app plays very important roll. This is my storage for samples, it records, makes loops, it has it's own mini filter bus. It is very stable and has good set of tools. The guy who developed this is genius and please look his other apps. I wish he improves Audio Share with even more functionality in the future. All other music app developers who adopted link from their apps to Audio Share gave us musicians big favour. However when it comes to doing some photo editing such as searching for all of one type of file like all kicks for all snares, It cannot be done. You have to move all the individual files to a place of your choosing or if you have them stored in a folder you can move them all at once if you’re lucky. ✓ Great little tool for progressions and sharingThis app has been instrumental ;) to my music this year. When I am strumming a tune and start something I like I just record and can notate it and then it’s shared directly with my writing partner. If there is an easier to use app that you can just use recording with your phone to build ideas with someone else then I am not aware of it. ✓ First classThis is jewel of a tool, I wanted an app that was audibus compliant and could play my mp3's. I produce dance music. A simple request really...... But almost impossible to find as mac's are restricted in so many ways and the iTunes function of downloading music offered on most apps is useless unless you spend your life on iTunes. With Audioshare I can create a tune on my desktop/ipad/phone then pop it into my Dropbox music folder, then take my iPad anywhere, open up Audioshare and import my tune and add processing or additional effects from other audio apps using Audiobus and use the other audio apps -simultaneously. This aids creativity as I can work with peers in studios around the world i make changes in real time and share it instantly. The game changer is in the title, as far as I know this is the only app that allows you to do this. I'd give it 10 stars if I could, previously I was sending my tunes to my email as my iPad 4 won't connect to my G5 desktop due to Mac changing the Bluetooth generation. I understand and accept the need to inhibit piracy. Previously limited to 14mb sending tunes to my iPad by email was a hassle now I use drop box on my phone my iPad and my desk top so my workflow and creativity is greatly enhanced. You get an AudioShare app that you use during sessions so that you are always working with audio. It makes it easy to keep a library of loops and/or mixes and use them and add to them from any app. Also the AudioShare Files extension in the Files app is like a maintenance mode where you can treat the audio as files and folders before or after a session, when you might want to copy it all to a cloud server to back it up, or you might want to put in 10 gigabytes or take out 10 gigabytes. I keep appreciating this app again and again. It’s a community service. ✓ It’s excellent AppAll the Sounds travel seamlessly through the App. From exporting from Groovebox or Blocs Waves into AudioShare. Trimming , normalizing and converting from MP4 into Wave files. It’s all very simple and you can organize your files into folders into sub folders. Then exporting the files back out. It’s a great storage and through station for your sound files. I was skeptical about spending the money on it but it’s been well worth the few bucks I spent on it instead of getting my iced whatever at Starbucks that day. And, it’s still around versus the iced whatever which would have been long gone. And with the use of DropBox with it things go pretty seamlessly. Also, read the user Manual. You can be sure that everything that this app is supposed to do, it does amazingly well with a fantastic interface. It is a classic app. All the apps by this developer are great. He only creates superb apps. It's as if he sees something lacking that musicians need and he creates a cool app to take care of it. It amazes me when I see a review that raves about an app but gives 4 stars because a feature is not there. No app has every feature so those reviewers should never give 5 stars. Actually they should give zero stars because there are millions of features missing from every app. Hey, if an app is great, give it 5 stars. The idea is to tell others how great it is, not to tell the developer what you would like to see added. Send an email to the Dev to ask for things you would like to see added. Don't penalize him for not being perfect. Bottom line is that if you mess with music, you are better off with this super duper app. I am tempted to list the short list of must have music production apps, but i will let you learn the hard way, which may be better in this case. It will make you realize how many terrible apps there are that are often much more expensive. There should be a list of rip off apps. ✓ I can’t imagine making music on iOS without itReally. Audioshare integrates with everything, has a useful and straightforward media managing scheme and basic audio editing tools. Many (all?) apps can import from Audioshare very quickly (like waaay faster than the files app). Wish list? More powerful audio editing, so maybe I could replace a kick in a loop. Some sort of bpm tools, and/or a grid/markers for editing. Live synced folders with Dropbox, iCloud etc. you can get there, but it’s not in the main Audioshare file system. ✓ Time SaverThis app is the one I use most for preparing samples and sending them to the various apps on my iPad that manipulate, sequence, and play audio. It is fairly easy to use and mostly intuitive. I would love to see more or finer-tuned options related to audio editing as the trim feature can be a bit clunky. The app can normalize audio which is fine, but having a gain option in addition to a generic normalize feature would add value for my purpose. What prevents me from rating the app as a 5 is that it doesn't have a menu option to save files at a 32k sample rate. ✓ Powerful, Great Audio AppGreat app. It lets you record high quality audio (up to 32 bit/96k) without the iPhone's native processing futzing fidelity and quality (though you can turn the processing back on if you like). It also lets you gather and organize sound files from anywhere on your phone, and export them to pretty much any cloud service. I use it with Google Drive. Unfortunately it only links natively to Dropbox, so with Drive you have to manually upload audio files. But this is easy enough, and maybe they’ll add native services in the future. ✓ This App is a good utility for keeping files in OrderI purchased this app some time ago, and it sat pretty much unused for many months. I wasn’t sure what to do with it, and it didn’t really do anything on it’s own. I started slowly putting some work files into it, and realized it is a great utility to keep, organize and transfer files from one platform to another. I do most of my production work on Cubasis 3, (believe it or not), mostly because I do almost all my other work on an IPad Pro 12”, and am very comfortable with it, and I don’t like lugging around a laptop. This app allows me to move files in and out of Cubasis and keep track of work files. I can listen to the file in AudioShare without having to move it, and put the file anywhere I want it to go without a lot of hassle. Also, you can easily convert from MP3 to a WAV file and vice versa, which needs to be done on occasion. Sure, you can store files on a lot of apps, (one drive, google, Dropbox, etc), I just find it to be a great little music utility app where everything is in one place..Version: 2.7.10

If I come up with a nice loop, I just paste or audiobus it into audiocopy and it's there for upcoming projects. The simple trimming and normalising screen is a joy to use. Yesterday, I spent the afternoon in the woods recording sounds into the app for later use with yellofier or werkbench. If you're making music on your idevice, audioshare, audiobus and the DAW/loop app of your choice should be essential purchases. December 2014: just been updated and my jaw has dropped. Once recorded on AudioShare I easily export them to Dropbox. Dropbox’s free 2gb is plenty of space for loops created in AudioShare.
