✓ Great for local rain predictions to know when I can walk our dogsI use this app daily particularly during showers when I need to know when I can walk the dogs. You can zoom in on the radar and see exactly when the rain will start and stop precisely to a five minute prediction, which is usually very accurate. It has kept us dry on many occasions. We live in a small village near Guadalajara and it seems that most services use Guadalajara as a basis for weather predictions in our area. However, we live on Lake Chapala which is about 35 miles from Guadalajara and there is a mountain range between there and our village. ✓ Great for all outdoor activitiesThe radar on this app is so accurate. Since finding it I have used it for light aviation, garden parties, outdoor jobs. I use it all the time. The extra zoom on the premium version is worth having. One slight negative is that in spite of having a play button on the main screen the app has to open that screen before it can actually play which can be difficult in low signal areas..Version: 2023.10

✓ Weather Radar PerfomanceI live in Gainesville, N.Florida. We get a lot of storms varying from piddly stuff to high wind thunderstorms to full-blown hurricanes. We RELY on Weather Radar & I can’t recall a time they were actually wrong. Sometimes we got a bit more or less than expected but it darn sure wasn’t much. ✓ Very accurate. Just needs a tweakAbsolutely spot on for forecasting. Just takes 2 attempts to open it for some reason. I get the opening screen, it finds the location then just sits and ‘loads’ the weather info with the spinning wheel. So then I swipe up, close the app completely from the background and reopen it, then within 1 second it opens and loads all the weather info.Version: 2023.24.1

Now after using it for a couple of months, pop up ads are coming through. What is the point of buying an app to remove the ads when after doing so the pop ups return? The “now” view now has a bug where the slider is all the way to the right yet the time is about a half an hour behind the actual time. So, as it is now, this view is useless. ✓ Accurate !I installed this app a few months ago & its very good & compared to other apps gets the forçats right, unlike other weather apps available. I really enjoy watching the conditions to come with the animation feature, I also particularly like looking at France & the Greek islands before going on holiday or imaginings I’m there sat in an armchair. I have close friends in America & seeing what weather they are having is also fun & interesting. I’m a photographer & love looking at the featured photo’s sent in by others I have sent in photographs too & two have been featured that is such an exciting feeling so thank you for that , it’s wonderful you get the public involved My only complaint is that the adverts drive me mad & frequently stop me from using the app because they block out the content completely to get the app without adverts is very expensive sadly & I can’t afford it. A few things I like compared to most other apps: - Forecasts include wind (not just in the icon for high wind); we’re under a wind advisory right now that every app posted, but this app was showing that forecast four days ago, well ahead of Dark Sky and AccuWeather - Layout is clear and makes good use of iPad real estate (wish some of the fonts were a tad bigger) - Map shows cloud cover, not just radar - Multi-day forecast window shows both next evening/night/morning/afternoon and 14-day - Beach conditions w/ water temperature (often hard to find elsewhere).Version: 2020.7

✓ Pretty decent.Honestly I’ve bounced around a bit lately with weather applications. I can’t seem to find exactly what I like and here, this is a pretty good one. One thing I’d like to see change is the widget. Remove the icon and put about a 3 day forecast. Granted I’ve only installed this a couple days ago. I’m trying to stick with it, though I like having news on the main screen and the overall look is very appealing. In an old school way somehow. Overall very good. ✓ Really accurate weather appI have been using this weather app for a few years now and I find the weather radar showing the weather for the next few hours to be extremely accurate and I often plan things like going out, putting the washing out and planning a bbq from what this weather app says as it is generally very accurate at predicting the weather for the next 12 hours. I find the weather radar is a little less accurate for longer periods but it still gives a good idea for planning your day. ✓ Replaces Dark Sky perfectly for meWhen Apple totally ruined Dark Sky I found myself wanting another weather app that gave a high level of accurate info, well laid out and quick to read. After a month of using this I’m really impressed, I think it’s even better than Dark Sky, in part because of the UI that can be dragged around to suit and also because there’s even more, easily readable, useful weather info symbols that one’s brain understands far quicker than words. Accuracy has been excellent on daily weather, 90 minutes and days ahead, so far. Even the 14 day forecast that obviously shifts is trustworthy enough to plan outside jobs like groundwork or building work. For me it’s bonafide replacement for Dark Sky..Version: 2023.7

Is there a dark mode? I cant seem to find it. Could we in a future update have colour options on the rainfall radar? ie purple and red? ✓ Overall very goodI have used for a couple of weeks and I quickly bought the year one as I found the adverts distracting(too many and some odd ones). Overall been pretty accurate for what is not an exact science. Would give 5 but find the slider (now today etc) confusing in that if you go from now to today you can end up with a time gap and also if you use the slider you can miss small clouds. Needs some improvement in this area but I have circulated links for it to a number of relatives etc and they are using. Thanks for your speedy response. ✓ More Than OthersEvery weather app has basic features. This one does a better job of putting them on the same page so that you don’t have to look all over. As with any new app the more you use it the easier it becomes to go to just what your looking for. For me: wind speed, direction; length of day, Temperature in short intervals all add up to a quicker review of what to expect as I use it to navigate small vessels during sea training exercises. The radar also is different and has new ways of observing better than others. About the only thing lacking from my perspective is tides, and wave wave periods, but its easy to get what I need quickly and then go to another app for that information to get a complete weather observation in less than 5 minutes.Version: 2021.19

✓ Love it!I must say I have only had this app for a few days and so far the weather in my area has not had much of a change ( it’s summer in Texas ) but I absolutely love the detailed weather information available on your site! I am a senior who has been interested in the weather for as long as I can remember. I had three weather apps already that I’ve used for years before I loaded this one. Being able to get wind speed, direction, pressure and so many other details is a real bonus! Your app is, so far, the only one I would ever need. ✓ Simply the BEST Goto Wx App!The Weather in Miami changes every 5 mins and meteorologists never get it right. They tell you what they see on the local radar; at times they say it’s clear, but when you look up, it’s cloudy. What the heck?! ✓ While its accurate….While this app does appear to give good information, and accurate, I have written and complained that there is always a notification, number one in red, like it’s a warning but when I actually open the app there is nothing there to be warned about. I have grown weary of tapping on this and it does not go away. I think every time you open the app when you see this warning it’s a plus for this app. Therefore I am going to delete it as I find this false warning annoying. It takes away from the credibility of the app if there’s nothing there to be warned about. Shame on you for not correcting this.Version: 2021.12

✓ Predicts TOO MUCH RAIN!!!I grew sick and tired of The Weather Channel app crashing and freezing almost every time I used it, so after looking at the alternatives I downloaded W&R. I love the format, layout and smooth performance. BUT… in the past two weeks it has predicted consistently and in some cases ridiculously high probabilities of rain over Brooklyn, on days when only the briefest shower, if anything at all, fell on us!! PLEASE turn down that sensitivity! Not every cloud that appears on your radar brings rain!!! Please fix this, because I love everything else about your app and its performance!!!.Version: 2021.18
✓ Good attempt at a difficult taskNot easy to predict the weather obviously but this app makes a fair attempt. The ninety minute prediction is usually spot on, fourteen days is speculation although it does update and change regularly. A complex system of lows is chaotic and thus unpredictable, a stable high pressure system can last for weeks; between the two is where we normally are and it would be nice if the app indicated the confidence placed on the prediction. It would get less the further ahead the prediction was of course but it would still allow us to gauge the overall reliability of the information..Version: 2021.13

✓ The premium weatherI try my best to keep up with the weather in my area and check it out many times a day however due to very poor network service including cellular signal service many times I can only view a blank screen or a dog with a sad look on his face that said something went wrong. I always check my app before taking my dog out for her walk down my local woods, they’re not too far away but far enough not to want to get caught out. The other day when I checked it indicated I could expect rain in around 2 hours so I got her harness on & lead & put my coat on & stepped outside straight into, you guessed it, rain. & it wasn’t a passing shower. This was the stuff supposed to be arriving in 2 hours! Now, I don’t mind being caught out by weather, who hasn’t? It’s happened to me thousands of times,but ain’t that what this app is supposed to help prevent? But Weather & Radar is the one I depend on for detailed forecasts, particularly using the radar portion for storms coming in from off the Pacific. ✓ At Last A Reliable Weather App!!Well, I’ve tried my fair few of Weather Apps, including the UK Met-Office offering (rubbish) but this baby is the best… My favourite feature is the satellite weather view, the colour scheme is great (blue for rain clouds green for ground) AND a slider so you can ACCURATELY see and predict exactly when rain is due to hit you! I’m an amateur astronomer and this is app is so so useful. I think I’ll even buy it! What more can I say..Version: 2021.9
✓ Good and reliable information.Works well and shows an hours window of where rain and bad weather is and where it is expected to cover over the next hour. It does have a lot of adds and pop ups, closing of which can be difficult to do without accidentally opening them, which can be an annoyance. There is the option to pay to remove them. I did have an issue where I updated the app and the weather would no longer load on the map, tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to no avail. However the with latest IOS update, 14.4.1 it is now working for me again..Version: 2021.5.3
✓ AccurateThis has been pretty accurate so far. Been using it for a couple weeks and it has been correct in the predictions. We live in a rural area and it is giving us the weather for our actual area which is nice. ✓ Great forecast & easy to useAfter having numerous Weather Apps, I finally came across this one. Used mainly for lakeside fishing trip sessions or away day trips. So easy to use, superb forecast as forecasts can go. All the information you need in one app. Maybe moon phases could be added…..or maybe I just haven’t got to that yet.
