✓ The Best Adblocker I have ever used on IOSI have been using this for a while now, and its performed flawlessly. It even blocks some ads i was not expecting it to. This only blocks ads on the current wifi point you are logged on to, so if you travel around to a few places, then just enter the details to the new location, and it will be seamless from that point onwards. As this only blocks ads on WIFI, it would be great to see it intergraded with the same developers 3g version, but I'm happy to use both. In apps I'll see an in app purchase to remove ads, but I never see the ads in the first place! It makes me wonder why I even set up a pi-hole. With ad servers being used as vectors for malware and viruses it's important to block them at any cost. A GREAT web browser to use as a companion to this awesome app is 'Brave'. This is a great app, though this current update has a slight widget issue which I've faith in the devs to fix in a new update. Outside the small issue, this app is great for so many reasons. If you value privacy, don't care for ads, or simply want a pleasant internet browsing experience without popups, redirects, and tracking cookies, this app does most of it for you. Note that some ad servers are allowed by default, so set your lists and preferences accordingly. Also, as this is a VPN connection, your internet traffic goes through the Weblock servers, which may be a privacy concern to some. It's quite easy to disable in app or in iOS VPN settings. A Detailed ReviewI’ve been using it for quite a long time and have seen them update and add even more great features and while I’ve not needed to use their customer service I know they're very big on offering support so if for some reason you experience any of the issues you may read a few others have written about. Definitely contact them because there’s something wrong with how it was set up or they’ve turned on a blocker they actually don’t want to have on etc. it’s highly customizable and yet extremely simple and quick to use. I truly do not see advertising across many of my apps - aside from the web. I often read complaints re frustrations with ads making the experience using a given app frustrating to the point the user stops using the given app — I truly don’t see those ads - 📌The only thing to know so u won’t b surprised is I’ve on a few sites (Primarily YouTube if u select for it to be proxied) it may seem ur video is taking a long time to load. While I notice no effect on load time in general, I’ve noticed it on YouTube — it‘s often a bit of a pause before ur vid starts bc it’s not showing them but it mustn’t be able to start the video without them thinking they’ve run. I’ve also noticed it depends upon where ur viewing YouTube - ie: within which browser / app or even the YouTube app — as to whether there’s the short lag time while it proxies the ads. ✓ Not blocking everything anymore?This was always fantastic - simply cut out all the ads in everything. Something seems to have changed, however. It’s still blocking most ads, but several are visible in apps that weren’t showing ads previously (due to successful blocking by this app). There’s no update to the ad servers to block, maybe there should be? It’s saved a huge amount of data that isn’t wasted on showing stupid ads, but some are sneaking through. ✓ Very ImpressedThis app has exceeded my expectations! Only been using it with wifi the last couple days, but so far I’ve been very happy! I tried a couple different ad block app options before, that were all disappointing and some were downright scams!! No ad blocker app is perfect (free or otherwise). However this one offers many options, and it’s clearly routinely updated. (Recently it appears they have fixed some problems that were occurring when trying to use with VPN and they have instructions for how to make that work. Since i have a very small data plan, I limit my cellular data usage but I’ll still be giving that a try) It has built in filters that you can choose to activate (or deactivate) for over 1000 ad servers and the best part is that you can add more custom filters by url/domain and/or IP address by following their simple instructions/examples. This is particularly important since the world of add pop-ups, spyware..etc is forever expanding. Well worth the $3, and it’s very satisfying every time I see evidence of it working and the add sites (that often open in additional tabs when streaming videos online through gorilla vid..etc.) get blocked !.Version: 5.2

Now I can flip Weblock on if I'm going to one of those difficult sites, and browse their pages without having to deal with the spinner running for 3 or 4 minutes and Safari suddenly closing. I've used Weblock for over three years now, and, as far as I'm concerned, would have to say it's perfect. UPDATE: (1/8/18) When I received my new iPhone X in November Weblock stopped working. I discovered that no matter how many times I tried entering my proxy link it would not save. I contacted their support and received an immediate response. They told me to forget my Wi-Fi network, reconnect it and then enter the proxy link. I did that and it saved properly. I restarted my phone and voilà! Weblock is again working like a charm. ✓ VPN for the WIN!This application works phenomenally well! I won't say you'll never see an ad again, but you won't see very many. Contrary to what the top comment suggests, this application does use the VPN function to block ads transparently. Simply turn on the filters you want, turn on the VPN connection and you're done!
