✓ Not worth the priceTo begin with, I don't know why but for some reason I can not seem to get the volume changes for the thunder and rain on my app which is extremely frustrating because I don't like the sound of thunder. Secondly it only has one timer and that's for an hour, no in between or anything else. For the price you pay it would be nice to choose your timer and be able to change the volume of my rain and thunder which is annoying that I can't. There are free apps out there with way more features. For the price you're paying for this one it would be nice to have some other features. The one good positive would be that the sound is good quality, but I'd still recommend checking out the free apps first before buying this one..Version: 1.0

✓ Rainy MoodThere are better apps out there that have much more features and Don't cost you your weekly rent ..(Pretty cheeky price really!) There are very limited settings and virtually only one timer setting, however the audio quality is pretty good. Stick your Head out the window when it's raining ....it's a better experience..Version: 1.0
✓ Nice idea but shamefully buggyThe website is great but the app is disappointing. Clicks, pops and restarts (where the audio stops abruptly and slowly fades in again) make it useless for sleeping. By all means, buy it to show support, but until the bugs are ironed out, you'll probably want to stick with the web version..Version: 1.0

✓ Okay, BUT...I want to first say that I do like the app, but have a couple issues with it. First, the sound effects cannot be set to random (like how the website version normally operates) so I can either have birds constantly chirping in my ear or not at all. Second, and most importantly, the app doesn’t integrate with the iPhone’s (not sure about androids) sound UI, so if you try to pause it with a controller on your headphones, you will start playing Apple Music over the rainy mood audio (though in some ways, that could be seen as a plus for some people). These are merely improvements, aside from those issues, the app works as you would probably expect..Version: 2.5
✓ I love this app but it’s wish it had thisI love this app a-lot its so calming my mum uses it a lot of times throughout the day but i wish we could make our own rainy day or even sunny day or anything. Second i wish we had more options. Third its the best app ever.Version: 2.5
✓ Stick to the free websiteThe sound quality of the rain is somehow of a poorer quality than that free website. I agree with the rest of the reviews: unless they fix it, I’m going to stick with the free site. Maybe if I had never heard the free site I would have enjoyed it more. ✓ Not really worth 2.99Love the website but the apps just a continuation with not as good audio. Four different scenarios no timer so when paired with my echo it will play all night..Version: 2.5
✓ UnrealisticEver present low-level rumble in “Countryside” and “Classic” modes is annoying and unrealistic. Makes me wonder where these sound samples were taken. A rating of 2 is generous in my opinion..Version: 2.5
✓ Very helpful not customizable enoughI use this for coping with panic attacks and autistic meltdowns. You should be able to make custom mixes of all the sound, and shut unwanted sounds off entirely, not just make them very quiet. In Rainy Mood Cafe, the rain sound is perfect. The cafe rain is the best because what I need is the sound of rain pounding on a roof, but I can’t use it because the barista, crowd, and traffic noise distresses me even at its quietest. Rainy Mood Ocean does have loud enough rain - I would love loud rain with background waves but the rain can’t get loud enough to balance right. Rainy Mood Classic just has weird background white noise that bugs me. I’m using Rainy Mood Countryside with crickets turned all the way down because it’s the closest to what I need but it’s still not ideal. Please make a Rainy Mood Custom, option silencing unhelpful sounds, and increase the potential volume differential between sounds!.Version: 2.4
✓ PriceyWell, I'm conflicted. I didn't expect more. It's rainy mood. I think the sound of the rain was more varied and pleasant listening online, but the app is nice, clean and simple to use. The price is far too high though, as lovely as it is..Version: 1.0
✓ Stop the background chatter!The reason I am writing a review is because I am unable to completely turn off the voices in Rainy Mood – Cafè. Despite unchecking the barista, chatter and patio checkboxes there is still a persistent background chatter with the rain. This is annoying. Please fix this so there is only the rain sound, thank you. Also you could add some extra rain sounds scenarios eg. rain on a window pane, rain on the tin roof. Otherwise a simple and elegant app..Version: 2.5
✓ Great but could be more user friendlyI grew up with the rainy mood website and now that we have an app, it's awesome! I just wish that your be able to adjust the music volume from your background apps as well as the rain just in case you want your music more in the background rather than drowning out the rain sounds! Is this something you could program in? I'll totally give this 5 stars if independent volume control is added. Then it'd truly be like the website I remember! Thank you!!.Version: 2.4

✓ Rainymood.I'll start off by saying that Rainymood is essential for me to get to sleep. It's brilliant that I can mix my music with the rain and adjust the volume of the rain and thunder. Improvements - 1. Ability to adjust the time on the sleep timer. I love this feature but I'd like to be able to adjust the time on it. 2. iTunes music slider. It's missing, considering you can only adjust the rain and thunder. I'd like to be able to adjust the music more so that I can get a good balance of music and rain, and it's not too loud. 3. The price! I think £1.99 would be a more reasonable price for this app. Five stars if these are met ☺👍.Version: 1.0

✓ Good startAs a fan if the site, I immediately brought this as I've been using a looped mp3 of rain samples to get to sleep for some years now. This app does offer some features over simply playing an audio clip as it allows you to mix two different channels of rain and thunder as well as play your own music at the same time. However, as it stands at the moment, this app feels like it isn't really worth the £3.00 price tag. Especially in the iPad where it feels incredibly up scaled and bloated. Some kind of control over which samples are played as well as just a nicer interface, some fancy blurred rain against a window animation looped in the background would be incredible. Anyway, huge fan of the rainy mood concept, there is no denying the samples are top quality..Version: 1.0
✓ Costly and limited.The app itself doesn't allow you to change what rain track's playing, it only changes by itself after a period of time. In regards of the sliders, they affect the volume of the rain/thunder as opposed to how intense the rain/storm is. Being able to play music alongside is nice though, but overall, it isn't worth £2.49..Version: 1.0
✓ What happened to Airplay?I don’t use this app often, but in the past I used Airplay to send the rainy mood audio to my Apple TV > Receiver > bedroom speakers. The airplay functionality has changed so that now I can only do screen mirroring, which essentially results in the same audio output but absolutely kills my battery and is less convenient than Airplay because it prevents me from having other content displaying on my iPad while playing rainy mood through the speakers. It is an app killer and I now wonder what I paid for this..Version: 2.4
✓ FeaturelessThis app brings absolutely nothing more than whats on the original website. The description mislead me to believe there were more features. You can't even set your own time for the app to sleep! I wouldn't mind if it was less than £1 but for £3, it's just not worth it..Version: 1.0

✓ AverageI'm a bit disappointed. It should be a $0.99 app, not $3. The radio loops after 20 minutes or so without a smooth transition. I find it annoying when I'm working. I was also disappointed that there were only 4 mixed available too. I wish that for this expensive price there was more effort put into it. I think people are better off using a white noise app that has more variety for a similar price. Or better yet, just use their rainy mood website version for free!.Version: 2.2
✓ Great appI think this is a great app, it is very calming and great for studying, sleeping and relaxing. One improvement I would like is a "storm" feature, with heavy rain, thunder, wind and possibly hail. Also, it would be great if you could adjust how heavy the rain is, not just the volume. ✓ Desperately needs an updateHad this app for a long time now but it’s just not keeping up with the times and other apps that are free are now offering more variation of rain sounds and more customisation. There’s only 4 different rain sounds to choose from, of which most you can hear loop after a short time which is quite annoying (Classic is subtle rain and then loud once it loops). A big update with a lot more rain sounds, especially gentler, softer rain would be great in my eyes and justify it being a paid app..Version: 2.5
✓ Not as good as originalI agree with another reviewer - the app isn't as good as the website due to the sounds being not as distinct as they used to be. I liked it better before the last update; for some reason the "classic" mode sounds different than the original. Maybe another update can be done to fix the issue? I used to like rainy mood better than other apps due to the rain/thunder mix and varying volume/speed of rain, but now it sounds more like white noise..Version: 2.2
✓ Love.. But disappointed.Absolutely love this app! The new update is amazing and I love how you can control what you hear for each sound. However, I'm extremely disappointed they chose to revert back to using the 1 hour time frame. I loved having the ability to choose how long the app ran for and most nights I'd have it running for hours.. ✓ Tweaks please :)I seriously love rainy mood. I use it all the time and I wouldn’t want to go to sleep without it. I even use it a lot during the day. Two things I’d like to request if possible: bigger volume range. I find that when I listen to music with the app, the rain is very often inaudible even with the rain volume set to maximum. The music drowns it out most of the time. The other request may not be realistic...would like an EQ a lot. Not for my music, for the app sounds. I love simulating soundscapes and EQ helps with that..Version: 2.5
