✓ Incredible and Awesome!!Ok. After playing with this sim a bit more I have found this to be better than either of the "name brand" sims out there... Even on the PC!! The physics modeling is very very realistic and the allowable tweaks and adjustments make for some realistic flying. This is a very good sim for the small price!! ✓ Great App for R/C flyersThe physics of the app are pretty much perfect. Being able to change the wind parameters is a big advantage and the turbulence is very realistic especially on the slope soaring maps. I like how you can change the weight, size, ballast, COG etc with the aircraft too. This is the best RC app I’ve tried. Any news on updates ? Some new planes would get more interest. I paid for the full app and would happily pay more. Great stuff One of the maps does crash for me not that this is an issue as there are plenty to choose from..Version: 1.19.0

✓ Very Awesome!!!I'm a die hard R/C hobbyist and when I started playing this simulator, it felt just like the slopes! I definitely recommend this to anyone with any experience. The controls on the touch screen take a bit to get used to but once past that, it's a breeze. ✓ AwesomeThough I don't get out much, I fly r/c planes and slope soaring has been my favorite for 18 years. I bought Pica Sim and love it. My problems flying are strictly my own and not the app. My one struggle I have is one that I share with all r/c computer sims and that is field of view and perspective and lack of peripheral vision. I tend to lose my attitude and position on sims where in real life you can use peripheral vision and other clues. But that is my own issue and not a fault of this app. If you have any interest at all in r/c gliders and especially slap soaring, buy this app!!.Version: 1.0.0

Plenty of landscapes and challenges keep it interesting. No need (really) for such detail, but great to have, if you know what you are doing. 7/10 on playability. ✓ Great updatesA well thought out flight sim that works very well in a mobile platform. The introduction of new aeroplanes to fly and the different landscapes provides depth and will keep you playing as you try out the various machines available. There are one or two issues, it's hard to gain height in the glider whilst flying in the flatlands, where the thermals are indicated by circling birds, but these are minor. May I suggest stronger thermals and perhaps use something similar to the glider sim 'Condor' where arrows are used to display thermals? Well done to the designers of this sim, all round a fine example of imaginative design and ease of use..Version: 1.9.0

✓ 3 channel Trainer?PicaSim is one of my favourite mobile games, and is undoubtedly the best mobile "RC flight sim." Some people maybe steered away by the rather simplistic 3D scenery, but in all honesty, the simplicity makes the 3D sceneries great, it allows you to focus solely on the joy of flying an RC aircraft. The selection of planes is wonderful, and for the price, this sim is a no brainer: BUY IT. ✓ Very nice R/C flight simulatorI have been playing this for a while as a practice simulator during the off-season. It is a very good, but definitely not perfect R/C flight simulator. The physics models are very good, and get better with each update. I think that the motor model physics are pretty good. The slopers and DLGs fly like I would expect, but since I have less experience with them, it is not an expert's expectations. The quad model is ok, but the flight model needs some tweaking still. The graphics are excellent and each flight location feels different, having its own unique wind and terrain dynamics. Each update has definitely improved the app and has made it the best R/C flight simulator I have tried for the iPad. I only wish there was some way to simulate the stick feel of the controller.... One update I would love to see would be an FPV mode for at least one of the aircraft. I would also appreciate in-flight trim, throw, and expo adjustment, like one finds on a real controller..Version: 1.7.0

✓ Has a hang glider!The hang glider flight characteristics are very realistic and it's worth the download just for that one glider. There's a follow camera on most maps that let's you ride along with, and even inside your glider so its not just an RC mode. The RC planes are fun too. The ridge and thermal soaring is surprisingly real, with rotors, cross winds, turbulence and (adjustable) thermal activity just where it's expected from a soaring textbook. I've had hours and hours of enjoyment from this app. With this app you get all planes and all maps, no extra in app purchase. 5th star reserved for more detailed graphics..Version: 1.1.0

✓ Better than the real thingI wish this app was around when I was learning to fly, it would have saved many late nights of repairing the bumps and bashes. Gliding in the panoramic 3D hills and mountains through Apple TV onto my 55 inch TV is brilliant. ✓ Great RC Sim!This is probably one of the best RC simulators out there! After trying out many RC sims on the AppStore, I have not yet found one quite as nifty as this! This app's highly customizable menu lets you configure a large amount of things, ranging from the amount of AIs, to the how realistic you want the physics. What I found really cool was the option to choose and fly in 3D or panorama environments. PicaSim's diverse selection of glider and powered rc planes (plus a quadcopter!), combined with a nice physics engine and super smooth gameplay makes it an app well worth the $2.99! ✓ Excellent slope simI am using this sim on an iPad 3 and have no performance issues. Having flown many gliders off slopes I have to say the feel of this sim is very accurate and the gliders performance is pleasantly predicable. There are a very comprehensive set of options and once again any adjustments made do feel realistic. A good selection of gliders and aircraft to suit most tastes and a fair selection of sites to fly from although I would like to see more pano's. I really do like this sim although I would like to see a couple of tweaks. Firstly I have to turn my iPad upside-down to play it which i find frustrating and I would like to see higher resolution for the retina display. Maybe later in development the ability to add your own 360 degree panos. At its present price of 69p and absolute bargain..Version: 1.0.0

The pleasure of flying them in harmony with the 'wind' conditions is easily more fun than powered R/C simulation and the controls and feel are immersive. Improvements? ✓ Buy this Flight Sim!I have recently just bought the Delta Ray and was not very confident at flying it so I started from the beginning and brought the Champ and the Trojan and mastered them both... And here is where Pica Sim comes in. You know when you fly an aircraft towards you the controls are reversed and Pica Sim can really help you with that. So the next day I went out to fly the Delta Ray and I was doing loops and rolls all thanks to pica sim. So this app is a MUST buy for all RC enthusiasts!.Version: 1.12.0

I have it installed on my iPad, iPhone, as well as my PC (where I use a Realflight controller). Perhaps some reviewers don't appreciate that the app is designed to model radio control rather than in-cockpit control (ie controls are reversed when the plane comes toward you). The physics engine is very realistic; planes really stall and don't just mush around like in some simulators. The ability to customize the parameters of your experience is amazing. This is the perfect introduction for anyone wanting to have a hand at the gratifying and exciting hobby of r/c soaring. The power planes are fun as well, though I'm partial to soaring. ✓ Great RC simI have had this sim for quite a while and so finally decided to write a review. This sim is just so good for practicing on your skills and I think the graphics are great. Of course, there is no RC sim that has the real "feel" of a plane in the air but this is as close as you can get on an apple product. And believe it or not, before I got my first plane, this is the kind of stuff I would practice on. I have been flying RC planes for a year now and I still haven't crashed any plane, thanks to these sims that I would keep twiddling my fingers with! ✓ Fantastic simulator - the best soaring experiencePicaSim is a fantastic achievement. It's focus is RC slope and thermal soaring, but it also has a few powered craft. And depending on the scenery chosen, you can move inside the cockpit and fly as a traditional first-person simulator. Panoramic photographic scenery is beautiful. There are lots of sailplanes to choose from. Flight dynamics are very realistic, and the controls are the best I've ever used for simulation on a touchscreen device. Controls are a pair of crosses in the lower corners of the screen. They fall naturally under your thumbs and feel as natural as the two sticks on a transmitter. You can spend a lot of enjoyable time in free flight, but PicaSim also has some great race/competition games. These are very challenging. As an inexperienced soarer, I find it very challenging to even finish the courses. Actually competing for better times can give hundreds of hours of joy. Very recommended..Version: 1.0.0

✓ How to make a flight simThis is now a flight sim. the aircrafts ingame can be modified to be full size (or close) and can be modified to be accurate. I flew the Jackdaw and F-18 this way, and it worked a charm. What a game..Version: 1.19.0
