✓ No GoThis app is a nice idea but lunch menus never get added in time and with 4 kids in elementary I can’t wait till 8am that school day for lunches to be added. I need to make lunches ahead of time unless I know they want to buy. And I can’t do that if lunch menus aren’t loaded! Waited for a few weeks to see if it was the new school year and no go. ✓ I only use it because I have to…Terrible app. The screen freezes after each order regularly, I have to delete and reinstall the app. You can’t order for more than one child at a time, and have to log in separately for each order. You can’t order for more than one school in the same order. It doesn’t remember your login details. Could do better. Much better..Version: 5.8

✓ Lazy app, worse than a web browserThis is not an app. This is a STATELESS web portal that could have pulled up any website. Login information isn’t stored, and if the app loses focus you lose everything. App or website doesn’t remember the grade or teacher, which should be SAVED as it only changes once a year. This app is embarrassing and shouldn’t exist. The website was bad enough, this is WORSE..Version: 5.8.9

✓ Breakfast NOT accurateGood Parents count on this app for accuracy so we can monitor and when necessary, change our child(ren) diet. Some meals the schools provide contains too much sugar so I will provide the meal (breakfast and/or lunch) for my child for that particular day. When I hear my child had a bad day, was too hyper, and learn he had something loaded with sugar for that morning that was NOT listed on the menu I am confused why I was misinformed. The lunch menus are usually correct except when there is a snow closure. Breakfast meals however have been wrong about 40% of the time. Please fix this discrepancy..Version: 5.5.1
✓ Won’t loadWorst thing Bastrop ISD ever did. It will not load. Loved it when it first came out. Then it stopped loading. I have deleted the app and reloaded it several times. Tried multiple phones. ✓ FrustratingIt’s very frustrating to have to search for my school every time I open this app. It used to default to a Home Screen of your favorites. Now I have to search my school every time! ✓ App Seldom Loads QuicklyI’m guessing Nutrislice’s servers can not handle the early am blitz of parents searching school menus. I frequently access the app around 6:30 am CT, and 8 time out of 10, the app either doesn’t load or it takes an inordinate amount of time. We have many other fiends with the same issue. Looks like I’ll need to use the school’s website instead. Great concept here, but this app isn’t ready to be useful in today’s world..Version: 5.5
✓ What happened???I have used this app for the past 2 years and have loved it. I went to check the menu for the first day of school and with the new update I can not pull up our school nor any other schools in the district... guess I will just be printing it off from the school website. ✓ I have downloaded this app before. And this never happenedSo. I downloaded the app like a year ago. I deleted cause. I didn’t need it. And I got it today. For my schools lunch. And. My school is very confusing to spell. And there’s a limit?! I don’t want to waste my time looking how to spell my school and then wait for the app to let me look for lunch. ✓ The app never worksOur school district uses this app for displaying the breakfast and lunch menus. It is a great idea, but the app never works. It didn’t work on my iPhone 6, and doesn’t on my new one either. I thought maybe it was a software issue, but I keep things updated. ✓ Doesn’t work!Boy this company has a lot of issues! 1) selected my state and typed my school which it found but another school comes up and no where to fix the problem. ✓ Too many unnecessary clicksLast year I used this w no issues. Since the last update I have to click several times to get to where the menu actually is. And I keep clicking on the breakfast menu instead of lunch. Please update it so it defaults to the favorites menu for the school/lunch option..Version: 5.5
✓ Needs a lot of modifications!Nice app but I would suggest some modifications to make it much better. If you allowed the user to be able to access the actual day they needed it would be much more helpful rather than searching through everyday, including Sat and Sun, to get there. Also, if I need to get off of the app for a sec or answer a phone call all of my cart disappears by the time I get back to finishing my order. Perhaps you can have a gluten free option under “filter and highlights”. Also, if I always desire a specific drink or if I always select gluten free it would be helpful if my account could automatically default to it. One last thing, can you offer gluten free bagels? BTW- when selecting contacts the app doesn’t respond. This is why I writing a review here and not sending directly to Nutrislice..Version: 5.7.1
✓ Very ungoodThe app is the most glitchy app I’ve ever used. It kicks me out every time I try to order and it’s annoying. Another thing I don’t like is over all the bad reviews they haven’t responded to one or tried to fix anything. That’s just the app, the food is a different story. It’s the most processed and weird food ever; they make chicken burgers with chicken breast! The only good thing I have to say is that the people in the cafeteria are so kind and have been the best, but it’s too bad when one is sick and it’s only one person making food because it can be late and I’ve missed 90% of my lunch period some days..Version: 5.8.2
✓ Updated Version is WorseI’ve used this app approximately a year from August 2019 to present. The update recently done is horrible. My favorite school used to automatically pop up. Now every time I open the app I have to search my location to access my favorite school. Accessing and toggling between breakfast and lunch were also easier in the older version..Version: 5.7.1

✓ NEED IMPROVEMENTS!!!Why isn’t there a full month menu to look at or print? I plan for the week to see if my kids will eat lunch at school or at home. I can’t even get a weekly view. ✓ Need monthly view and printMaybe we are too organized, but we plan meals by the month. It was great when we could print the whole month’s menu and our kids could go through and indicate hot or cold lunch. Helps to plan in advance am I packing them a lunch or not and what foods to get in the house. So being able to see more than one day is mandatory for me to use the app. Actually I don’t need to see any days on the app, just print the monthly menu. Which right now I can’t get the website version to do either. Sure I should save a tree, but I also need to keep my sanity by seeing lunch needs at a glance on my refrigerator. ✓ “Currently Nothing on the Menu”I’m not sure who’s at fault, hence why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, but this is my first time trying to use the app and it just says, “There is currently nothing on the menu today.” It says the same thing through the remainder of the month. ✓ I dislike this appMy school district implemented this app for lunch ordering for elementary school. You have to select each day, select each child (even if you only have one child signed up, it defaults to “add new profile”, instead of defaulting to the child), add the teacher (in elementary school, can’t the teacher be set up as part of the profile?), then place your order. I tried to contact the developer via their website but their “contact us” page only allows business emails, so another area for improvement. The above fixes (defaulting to a child if there’s only one or even letting a caregiver select which child they’re ordering for at the outset, not having to select the teacher / time for each order because they do not vary) would be really helpful..Version: 5.5
✓ Can’t add items to cart/no profile drop downThe “+” symbol enabling you to add food choice to your bag does not always appear. Updated the version, deleted and reinstalled numerous times. ✓ Stupid inconsistent and not workingForced by school system to use this app. It simply did not work and did not make sense: -can not log in with credential I just created -tried to reset password with registered email but received a note it can only be changed by manually calling the service -I found my school and kids but my MySchoolBucks balance never show up -I went to my account, and try to set up payments to MySchoolBucks. It does not proceed to next step and then a few minutes later, the option completely disappeared -I wasted 2 hours trying different ways to order lunch but failed. There are absolutely no prompts or indication of what is wrong and what is needed This is the most stupid school app ever, no second!.Version: 5.5.1
✓ Awful AppThe instructions tell you to click the top right menu and click “Log In” to create an account. The funny part is when you click the top right menu bar, there isn’t a Log In option. Awful App..Version: 5.8
✓ Bad update for functionalityWe’ve used this app for a few years and the last update greatly reduced the functionality. With kids in middle school and elementary school, it’s much more cumbersome to find a menus each day. Saving a school to a Favorite still requires a click as returning home doesn’t default to favorite, but rather a list of all schools. Every time having to choose from breakfast and lunch, without being able to disable to hide one is annoying. Having to scroll past the messaging every meal is ridiculous as well. Every week day, after clicking on the meal, the same generic message appears before the menu. We scroll past it, but why does it even have to be there? Please return the ease of use to this app..Version: 5.5

At least on the website you can see this by rotating your phone to landscape from portrait mode. I did not want to write a review, I wanted to report an issue, but when taken to the developer website, it wouldn’t accept my email address because it was not from a business.
