✓ AMAZING!!!!!! 😃😃😃This game is so cool! I got tails as soon as I got on to it, (coz tails is my fave!) what is his special power though? And I found to my surprise that Blaze is also a free character, and whoever hates this app is obviously stuck on level 1... P.S. They should add special stages, (with the emeralds) Shadow, Cream, Espio, Omega, Sally & Vector. Make an ability where Tails is able to fly for a bit, Rouge, Knuckles & Silver glide, Sonic & Blaze being able to use homing attack, and make the characters unlockable at a lower level than 17+. Other than that this game is perfect, Sega has still got the epicness that they had around the sonic 3 era!.Version: 1.3
✓ How to port a console classic to a touch deviceThis app is a fantastic example of how to reinvigorate an old favourite by playing to the strengths of the iOS interface. No clunky d-pad and buttons on screen, it's all just tilt and tap. This works remarkably well, and yet Sega haven't made the game simple alike Doodle Jump, this is proper classic platformer gameplay in an innovative guise. There's the usual assortment of obstacles, power ups, badniks and bosses to fight. In short, excellent, perhaps even the best iOS game of 2012..Version: 1.3

✓ Way past cool...but a little behind the times. Why there aren't any Sonic runners like Mirror's Edge, Temple Run, Amazing Runner, Rayman Jungle Run, or Subway Surfers is baffling? Not even any glimpse of Sonic Generations? Running does seem more appropriate than driving or jumping, (or shooting - whoever introduced guns to the Sonic Universe should be... you know). They say there's no pleasing the devout Sonic fan these days, but a lot of promising groundwork has been made in many of the new releases. I still have faith, and will always stand by new releases (as long as the cheesy story lines and bad acting stay buried... It was such a shame to see the brilliance of Fleetway and Archie practically ignored...) and will be looking forward to the inevitable groundbreaking game that is sure to come. ✓ NOT a Doodle Jump clone! Here's why!To anyone who thinks this is a doodle jump clone, you couldn't be more wrong! In 2005 the original Sonic Jump was released for mobile (not smart) phones in Japan. In 2007 it became available worldwide. In 2008 a game called PapiJump, which in many ways was a Sonic Jump clone, was released on the app store. In 2009 Doodle Jump was released as a PapiJump clone. This version of Sonic Jump was released this year (2012) and is in every way a sequel to the original Sonic Jump from 2005, not a Doodle Jump clone! It is technically Doodle Jump which is a indirectly a Sonic Jump clone by cloning PapiJump! This is a great game and I highly recommend it even if you don't manage to get it while it is free! It is much more fun than other "Jump" games due to the inclusion of levels, bosses and missions!.Version: 1.3

My main gripe is that performance is pretty bad on my iPhone 3GS; it has a tendency to lag and stutter a lot, which can be frustrating, especially when it results in Sonic falling to his death - if this gets fixed I'll be delighted. ✓ Good game but needs some more fresh ideas and nostalgiaSo I love this game and I loved the new zones but there was something about not having zones from older games that would fit in to this gameplay style. The zones I am talking about casino night zone, casino street zone , mad gear zone, Casino park (though you could call it pinball city if you did use it because you would use parts of pinball tables to get around), Bingo highway, crisis city, titanic monarch zone, Eggman empire fortress from sonic forces, and water palace. The bosses for each of these levels could be as follows. Casino nights boss could be the boss from sonic 2s casino night, the boss for casino street could be casino streets boss from sonic 4 episode one, so basically every level that had a boss in their old games have that zones original zones boss except for a few. Casino park would need a new boss because it never had a boss because bingo highway was the only one that had a boss. Crisis city would have iblis as the boss and Solaris as the final one. Water palace should have sonic rush’s final boss as its first boss but have sonic rush adventure’s final boss as the final boss with both having the same music that they had originally. Titanic monarch should have its act 1’s boss be the first boss and have act 2’s boss (aka the final boss) be the last boss (When I say act 1 and 2, I mean titanic monarch’s bosses from sonic mania). Before I go, I have this idea of this zone called slime palace zone; a zone that has bouncy slime floors , sticky slime that makes you slow, and slime that blocks most of your view if you land on it. And that is some content you can add to make this game better. Well actually, that’s not true because I still really, really, really, really want tails doll to be added as a character..Version: 2.0.3

Shadow is playable in Sonic Jump Fever, so why not in this game? This game feels unfinished without Shadow, Cream and Vector, please add them soon!!!! Also when you complete all the missions up to level 30 it says more coming soon, well it’s been years now and still no sign of them, please don’t start what you can’t finish!!!!! Maybe make level 50 the highest level where you can unlock Shadow, Cream and Vector as you progress. Also it would be good if Cosmic Zone was in this game where you get 1 final boss as Super Sonic, it could play similar to the Fever Mode from Sonic Jump Fever, that would be fantastic!!!!! What would also be good is if Puyo Puyo Quest got released worldwide as a new Dr Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine game. ✓ Good game.Bought this game today as had been playing it on our family kindle for a while but decided to have it on my iPhone for personal use to pass time. Sonic Jump is a really good game, and worth the money. Graphics are good, as with most Sonic games and the game gives as unique feel with special features, zones and characters to make the game worth while. It's a good game to pass a few hours, however, I do think it should be easier to reach higher levels to unlock the other playable characters. You would have to spend a lot of time on this game to even reach level 17 to unlock Tails, or spend 1.49 on each character. Coming from Doodle Jump this is particularly noticeable and vice versa after a long play session of Sonic, Doodle Jump will feel twitchy for a while. ✓ It's not a Doodle Jump cloneThere was actually a Sonic Jump game predating Doodle Jump in 2005. Sorry to be a pain but I like when people know the facts. This is another great transition of a popular console game to iOS format. You guys sure know how to adapt to the ever decreasing attention spans of the youth of today. This game is great. At first I was a bit sceptic about the controls parictuarly the titlting but then I noticed you don't really have to tilt the device that much. My iPad can sit comfortably in my hand and barely be resting 180 degrees. The environments are lovely and have just the right amount of detail. Each new level has an increasing difficultly that isn't easy but not impossible to beat. Though Act 9 in the second world is a tough one. Needless to say I'm addicted. I can't wait to see what these 'coming soon' features will be. I haven't tried the Arcade version yet but something tells me I may enjoy it. If you're like me and you want to get a perfect score and all the extras then you'll be playing through each level and world for a long time. If not it's just a fun game to play. It's great to kill some time on. Yeah, I think that's it. I'm interested to see what Sega brings out next..Version: 1.0

Easily as good as Angry Birds, if not better with the infinite arcade levels and missions. My only two issues are that some of the missions specifically require you to purchase items from the shop in order to move on, which is a bit of a Sonic sell out. Even though you can use rings or cash, I'd rather have to win my way through a mission. Also, the location of icons to activate things such as boost makes them far too easy to accidentally press - I've lost count of the number of times I've wasted a power-up by mistakenly hitting it when I just wanted to double jump..Version: 1.3
