✗ Don't look back?Yea it's short. But a game of this sort shouldn't be an 80 hour experience. Yea it doesn't have a save option. But this was meant to be an "experience", and you can't get that if you don't play this in one go (seriously). Yea you'll need solid skills to beat it in one go. But hey, a game about going to hell and back (I perceive) shouldn't be easy. Besides, I don't think shooting the Devil in the face would be as effective irl as it is here. At first I questioned the name don't look back, as this games graphics are firmly rooted in the past, but in the later part of the game it gained a significance. Whether that significance was mainly in the game mechanic (you physically CAN'T look back) or philosophical is up to you. I choose the gameplay side. Games with a nice story are all very well, but they're not there to teach us anything truly life changing. And this... Kinda doesn't. I still enjoyed the experience though, and the ending was touching. Without giving to much away, let's just say it doesn't end with the usual text scroll.
