1Password 7 • Password Manager for Positive User Reviews

Couldn’t manage SAFE AND EASY INTERNET BROWSING without 1PasswordI have used this app since its inception, many years ago. I was so lucky to stumble upon this, somewhat unknown app, then. It has become a very popular app since that time and there are plenty of reasons why this is so. It has become the cornerstone in my ability to browse the web in a very safe manner. I use many sites, each with its own password (for MY security, I don’t duplicate). I could NEVER remember all of them, and 1Password has never failed me in my ability to navigate each and every login during my day and also assisting me in creating safe logins (which, again, I don’t need to remember) for both the Mac OS and IOS. I can not speak highly enough of this app. They are constantly updating it to offer better way for the app to work and assist me in my task of logging into and working with various sites. I understand there are other password apps out there, but this app has, over many years, consistently lived up to its hype..Version: 7.1.1

Everything You NeedI first got this app to generate new passwords, but this has become so much more. My entire life is being protected by this app. As I got older, even before that, there was no way I was going to remember the sheer voluminous number of passwords I was being required to use. Work, Bank accounts, Financial and retirement funds, online vendors. It started slow but as I found out how easy it was to use and how much more I could lock away (Driver licenses, social security accounts, and data for everyone in my family down to the last grandchild), I found my whole life is detailed in this one app. With the Equifax debacle possibly exposing us to what could be more information stolen than I could of imagined, I realized everything they had and more could be found in 1Password. So I wrote support for advice, but found in their webnotes that I'm safer on every level than I could have hoped for. Its like this team put all their own lives in here and said let's build a fort, then built a fort around that, and so on. The only way anyine is getting into this app and my information, is by finding where I have my Master Password hidden just in case. I know this review is too long, and I'm gushing, but again after Equifax, at last I can believe in something..Version: 6.9

Won my family password manager “tournament”Poked around the web for a pw manager for the fam, and it was down to 1Password, Keeper, Bitwarden, and RoboForm. RoboForm did not have a Watchtower feature, and Bitwarden did not have as many tutorial videos. 1Password barely squeaked by with the pin unlock feature, while Keeper only had a fingerprint unlock for speed (which I don’t like to use, but maybe I just need to take the tinfoil off my head). Get yourself a password manager! You’ll always be safer with than without, and you won’t know how you lived without it. 1Password is definitely the easiest, most visually appealing, and most accessible across platforms (work PC, Mac at home, iPhones) and tutorials. Why four stars? Keeper has a sort of secret keeper feature for someone to have access to your vault if you die. 1Password’s only answer to this feature is to print out YOUR master password and give it to someone (in our case, the godparents of our child), so if I change it or the godparents lose it, those social profiles will have to stay up forever, like some kind of morbid, digital vigil..Version: 7.3

Life is better with 1PasswordA few years ago I spent time entering just about everything I have into this app. The outcome of which is that I have everything I could ever need at my fingertips, where ever I am. I have one vault for work and another for personal, and better still, I never have to remember my super complex passwords or details ever again. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to organise their life and data better!.Version: 7.0.6

Alexander’s review of 1PasswordThis application is well supported and highly polished, however there is always room for improvement and here are my suggestions:- 1. Allow users to create a new category (with an imported graphic for the icon) and user specified fields for that new category rather than being limited to the short list of pre-defined categories. At the moment, because the provided categories don’t fit my needs I end up filing passwords in categories that don’t relate and therefor end up having to search for them. I also have to do significant editing to the fields of an item in that category. 2. Allow users to export-import their 1Password database to a backup file that can be stored outside of iCloud backup so that a physical record exists (backup to fall back on if iCloud account hacked) without the need to convert to a 1Password Account. There is not enough justification for home users to pay the subscription fee to access this capability. 3. Add the ability to unlock access to the local 1Password database by means of pre-specified security challenge questions, in case the ‘Master Password’ is lost/forgotten. 4. Ability to view 1Password in landscape mode on mobile phones. Aside from that, keep up the good work!.Version: 7.4.7

Best App in the WorldI honestly believe this is the best app I have ever purchased. Will simplify your life 10x.Version: 7.6.2

Continues to be one of my MUST HAVE appsUsed in conjunction with the desktop version, this fantastic app suite makes password management sane and easy, on multiple browsers and devices. One of the first things to be installed on all my computing devices. Absolutely essential..Version: 7.3.2

Great appI use this everyday on my iPhone and Mac. I think it is impossible to provide secure passwords for all the websites I use without using a password manager these days, the only alternatives are laboriously using pen & paper or an insecure document on the computer. This app is also great for recording those infrequently used passwords that you need from time to time (especially work related) - and avoids the whole password reset phone call scenario. Sync works seamlessly. I like the separation of the application from the web browser. It is not Mac specific like iCloud Keychain. The app functionality and user interface is easy to use. The only question I have is how sure the developers are with regards to cryptographic algorithm implementation - what processes are in place to ensure this functionality is correct and not altered with subsequent development work? There are numerous password managers on the App Store, and 1Password is one of the only ones I would trust with my secure details..Version: 7.3.3

Been using for years on pc, Mac, iOSSync’s great. Manages passwords, site details, layered security passwords, question/answers, multiple vaults and much more. Very easy to use. Great and quick support. Recommend it..Version: 7.7.2

A MUST Have!I was sceptical at first when I first encountered 1Password, but now I cannot live without it. Worth adding that I work in IT and part of my job is reviewing incoming technologies. I looked at a couple of other password management tools and 1Password wins hands down. The ease of management, multiple password vaults and access across multiple platforms and browsers is fantastic! The auto-fill, password generator and the way it captures credentials and prompts you to save them is essential. It also provides a password checking system (automatically) to check for reused passwords, compromised passwords and of course whether or not 2-factor authentication is available for any of your logins. If you are keen on using facial recognition to unlock your password vaults - its available! I personally use it on my Windows 10 device which is an absolute pleasure not having to type in a password. One recommendation for the more savvy users: If you have Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials, create 1 login and add all of the different websites to that single login. Saves the headaches of seeing reused passwords. Overall A+++ rating.Version: 7.3.2

Love the product but moved to alternative due to pricingFirstly, I would say that I really love 1Password, I have seen reviews comparing it to various alternatives and having used quite a few, I still think 1Password is better. I recently have used Bitwarden and LastPass extensively to compare features and both of these alternatives have similar capabilities but what sets apart 1Password is it’s ease of use and overall look and feel. Sadly, when comparing them on price, Bitwarden is by far the cheapest and LastPass isn’t that far off. 1Password seems to fall short on pricing and it is a shame as I would have loved to continue using it than moving away..Version: 7.7.6

Great tool for password managementWorks great for personal use to work place team password management. With the secure encrypted storage and settings to keep the store on your devices only makes this ideal for even the most security savvy companies. Working in software development the number if login details needed can get out of control quickly this tool saves people using the same password or worse writing them down making it easy for intruders..Version: 7.4.3

Best Password app available!!!I have tried other password saving apps and I have to say, this one is the best one for your money. I got the free app before they started offering pay options. Every site you go to, or app you use, makes you create an account these days and it can be overwhelming to have so many passwords and logins. This app allows you to create different logins and passwords for each one of them without the fear of forgetting them and having to go through the agony of retrieving passwords or recreating accounts. It enables you to have better security as well because you are not using the same login and password for every site you use because you can just add it to this app and forget it. Now it’s there when you need it again. The only thing I would suggest to the developers is, make a setting for the user to define what “home page” the app opens to. Meaning instead of opening to the standard page the app opens with, I could have the app open to a specific vault or page. I only use the app for passwords and logins so I would love to go straight there. It’s nit picky but, other than that, this app is great. Others either do not have the same functionality or make you sign up for things or charge you for what you get here for free. 👍🏼.Version: 7.5.2

ExcellentMy preferred password manager but would really like an option to increase font size in the secure notes..Version: 7.7.2

Password Manager of ChoiceStarted using it years ago when I got it for a discount in a MacBundle, have been using it ever since - took me a long time to take up subscription (I generally avoid all kinds of subscriptions), this is one of the few exceptions - it’s pretty convenient (meaning I don’t have to fiddle around with lots of settings myself), and pretty secure (fingers crossed). I have never had to use their support so I don’t know how good that is..Version: 7.7

AmazingI’ve used 1Password, Dash Lane, and some other crappy password management apps and by far I would recommend 1Password! Way ahead of the game, your apps are the better options hands down! I have two requests though: First request: Please unify your password generator options. — On windows you have the ability to do some options, and then on Mac there is an option missing and in iOS it’s something else, I can’t remember which is which right now but one OS has more settings than the other. Second request: Please allow the ability to include, Upper Case, Lower Case, Symbols, and digits, and the ability to type in the amount of characters if I don’t want to use the slide bar. — At the moment you only allow characters, symbols and digits, or alternatively words, and the slide bar is a little touch and sometimes I go to slide it with my finger and instead it swipes the card instead of the swipe bar..Version: 7.2.7

I took the plunge! After using another password manager for nearly 30 years, I have made the switch to 1Password. Over the years, I’ve tried many programs & apps, but always went back after seeing the amount of work involved to make the switch. Then I read the article in the July 2020 Consumer Reports magazine where they rated 10 password manager apps. 1Password was rated highest. Since the app I had been using for years wasn’t even listed, I felt that maybe it was time to try switching again...I’m so glad I did! The data import into 1Password was extremely simple, with no issues. Due to the ease of creating new passwords, I have eliminated all logins with duplicate passwords. The capability to share items with my family through the shared vault is proving to be a real time saver for everyone. The app is very easy to use and intuitive making it ideal for all users of all levels of technical ability. I use both Windows & iOS devices and find that the app works seamlessly across both platforms. Needles to say...I’m very happy that I “made the switch”!.Version: 7.5.2

A really great app that works so wellI started using 1Password some years ago and found it quite clunky and hard in terms of workflow. I’d moved from another password manager that was messing about with their plans and it took me some time to get used to the new way of doing things. There are still some things that annoy me about the app but I use it dozens of times a day to manage thousands of Passwala’s and one you have the workflow sorted out it really works well the team have also worked tirelessly to continue improving almost every aspect of the apps. And they are managing them across multiple platforms. Well done..Version: 7.9

Fantastic software, integration & tech support. After hearing about 1Password for years in Macworld magazine, I finally decided to purchase both the Mac and iOS versions. I have to say that I'm incredibly impressed by this software and how it so easily handles very sensitive information. I'm also equally impressed by the customer support. I purchased the iOS version 3 days before this new version came out which required another purchase. Of course I am not opposed to developers making a fair living off of creating high quality software, but since it was just a matter of days, I thought I might as well contact them and ask if I could get a free upgrade. I heard back right away and they were able to reimburse me via Paypal. I'm very grateful and the person I was in contact with had an incredibly genuine, helpful and friendly attitude. Can't say enough and I'm sure I'll continue to support this software & these developers for years and years to come..Version: 7.7

After set up, and habit changes, brilliant!Don't get captured! Get this app. I have maybe 300 online accounts after years of working in tech. I used password managers at work but it's as much my family I want to train to use this. With this you can set up a family account and help them to never make a weak or reused password. Things to note: 1. Using it the first time There are some usability things to get used to, so take a few seconds and watch their videos before jumping in. 2. Set up time There is a bunch of set up, moving accounts in here. This is a one-off thing. 2. Habit changes You have to create the habit of starting in 1Password when accounts are created or changed. But the payoff in peace of mind is huge. Thanks to the makers: I have built software before and making it good is hard. Big thanks to the app makers here, I'm a happy subscriber..Version: 7.7

You must have 1Password to use the internet1Password should be required for you to get a license to use the internet. If this were true most internet security problems would disappear. But it only works if you use it and use it properly. I’ve had a family account for about 5 years and this app completely secures both my business and personal life. I can’t say I use it daily, because I use it hourly. I read through some of the one star reviews to try and understand why someone would do that to 1Password. Looks to me that most were at fault for their own problems. 1Password can’t reset your password if you forget it, they don’t have it it’s YOUR password. And why on earth would they let you set the mobile app to be unlocked until the next time the phone is powered off? That’s insane! Your phone is the most public facing and easily stolen device you have. Oops! Someone just got access to ALL your passwords. You can’t fix stupid but I think 1Password is doing a pretty good job at securing its users precious information despite the users best efforts to the contrary. If you take password security seriously (as you should) purchase a subscription to 1Password, you won’t be disappointed..Version: 7.4.2

An essential utility, works very reliablyI’ve been a many-years user of 1Password. Use it every day, many times, on several devices including a desktop, laptop, iPads and iPhones. The app works very reliably (it has NEVER -in years- failed to provide ready access to my hundreds of passwords, logins, servers, secure notes, etc). The interface has improved over the years, and it’s now, mostly, intuitive. The “multiple vaults” feature seems superfluous to me (can’t think how it might be useful), but doesn’t get in the way. Search is quick, but not “instant” (with 400+ entries). The password generator works very well and is very useful. The interface with multiple browsers, too, works very well (though not flawlessly) with Safari and Firefox. (There are sometimes “hesitations” there, which probably are related to the browsers’ handling of extensions.) I resent the “subscription” pay model, but since this is, indeed, an essential, everyday utility for me, I think the cost is reasonable, on balance. (I’d prefer to make my own decision about when to pay for a new version.).Version: 7.0.4

1 PasswordBest app have been using it for past three years tried lot other apps before no one competes this it’s great..Version: 7.7.2

A vital security toolIt works reliably, keeps all my passwords secure and lets me create strong new ones, and it’s made by awesome Canadians..Version: 7.7.2

Couldn’t recommend it moreFor a long time, I was the type of person with one single password for everything and would create variations of that if I needed it, which would mean I was constantly forgetting the weird variations I had created and always getting my accounts accessed from strange countries because of the lack of security. I’ve had 1Pass for over a year now and converted all my passwords to unique secure passwords and I have completely forgotten how difficult and frustrating and when I see people going through their list of passwords that they use to try to access a login I’m very grateful that I don’t need to do that anymore and I always recommend this app. Honestly save yourself the stress!.Version: 7.7.2

I am only sad because!!!A 75 yo, I have used 1P for many years. Love it and couldn’t survive without it. My sadness. Despite my proselytising I don’t seem to be able to get my similarly aged friends to adopt 1P. I watch them struggle with bits of paper carried in wallets or stuck inside their iPad case and try to sell them the wonders of 1P. But usually it is all too hard. I am probably at one end of the tech spectrum and they at the other but computers and portables are part of their life and I hate seeing them struggle. I am often called to help and usually this is when children or grandchildren, who set them up, are not around. Often they keep the passwords they used for set up. So, here is my challenge. 1Password for seniors and simple promotional material so they get the message..Version: 7.0.6

Amazing app - changed my lifeAfter extensively using 1Password for all my password management needs across all my devices, including getting the add-on whitelisted on my work machine, I could not rate 1Password higher. Simply superb. My wife is also using it and that’s an achievement as she would not usually adopt new tech so quickly. We share passwords in a shared vault for groceries etc. Just fantastic! I love adding little custom icons for the entries if they don’t get the website icon automatically. I use the tags for organisation, as well as integrating all my 2FA tokens into the entries, so I can auto fill these on websites instead of opening up Google Authenticator separately. After previously tending to reuse a few semi-insecure passwords across all sites I now have unique 20+ character passwords across all my logins. 1Password makes this a breeze. If there is a breach it’s no big deal as I just change the password on the affected site only. Hats off to the developers for making something that just works so well with a super fast sync across all devices..Version: 7.7.1

So helpfulI don’t regret installing this app. Fast, simple, reliable. Love having the same system across all my devices. Keep up the good work!.Version: 7.9.5

Super convenient with Face ID and family subscriptionLove this app for making it easy to remember ID numbers, passwords, and pretty much any other data. Unlocking it via Face ID is awesome on the iPhone X — great that this was available so soon after the X launched! And being able to have a shared family vault as well as a personal vault for each family member — and all synced across all our devices — is so awesome! Thanks, 1Password team!.Version: 7.0.2

Excellent password managerGreat for both individual use and family sharing..Version: 7.9.5

Excellent in every wayI’ve tried all sorts of password and data storage apps and this one has exceeded them all for me. I travel a lot and it makes everything safe and easily accessible just by remembering one password, or by using face recognition. I love 1Password for having satisfied all my reasons for not changing to it long ago... its features have delivered in every way I could’ve wanted, and it continues to improve even more with each new free version. Thank you..Version: 7.3.1

1PasswordThe best Password app I have used!.Version: 7.7.1

Absolutely amazingI have been using 1passsword for years. An absolutely wonderful piece of software that keeps getting better and better over time. This is probably one of my most used, most loved, and essential pieces of software..Version: 7.3.4

Don’t know where I’d be without it1Password is an easy to use app that enables you to save passwords and other confidential information - for instance Passport or Driver Licence details, security alarm codes and so on. The iPhone app is intuitive and simple to use. The security to prevent unauthorised access to the app itself, and any user account, seems solid. I’ve been using this app for years. I really like it and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a “one stop shop” for the simple storage and retrieval of frequently used secret information..Version: 7.3

Really great appI’ve been using 1Password for the past couple of months and it’s been fantastic to use. Their integrations are amazing!.Version: 7.7.2

I don’t usually give 5 stars to anythingI’ve had 1Password for years. It’s just always been on my Mac, iPhone & iPad. Just don’t think about it. Just use it and it does what it’s supposed to do. When I read in the details of the latest update that the developer will never nag for a review like so many apps do I thought that actually makes it worth a review so I’m giving it a very rare (for me) five stars..Version: 7.0.4

Indispensable appI didn't have the best start with 1 password. I was prompted to get a password app after another password leak online and also with being fed up at always forgetting which password I'd used. So I downloaded the Mac app half heartedly, didn't read the instructions properly and promptly got fed up and gave up. A few weeks later with a bit of spare time on my hands I tried again. So glad I did. It's amazing and integrates well on the phone and with my work PC. It's not free, but it's well worth the money. Wish I'd discovered it years ago. We have a family account and everyone has their private vault and the shared vault. On the whole it works flawlessly and makes life online easier and that bit more secure..Version: 6.9

At my ageI struggle to remember all my different passwords, however with this app that problem is solved. I now only need to remember one password which is brilliant! Highly recommend.Version: 6.9.1

Keyboard integrationOK, this polishes 1Password. This has been my primary pain point for 1Password on iOS: having to switch apps to get fields auto-filled (or use 1P’s built-in browser). Now that iOS 12 let’s 1P into the main browsers, all is good!.Version: 7.2

Still my password manager👍.Version: 7.7.2

10 out of 10Fantastic app for safely managing and storing passwords, which is more critical now then ever before. Congratulations Team 1Password, your rock!.Version: 7.7.6

Almost PerfectThis app is great is almost every way and has revolutionised my login process on all apps and I would now be lost without it. I do however have a one issue that wastes a fair bit of time that if you could fix would be incredible. After 1Password hasn’t been used for a bit or usually the phone restarted I appreciate the need to require entry of the master password and after that I can use Touch ID/Face ID. But if I open in a pop up overlay on an app I’m trying to login on it won’t enable Touch ID/Face ID and I’ll have to renter master password again. As my master password is so long I only want to enter this once so I have to switch to the app and it completely ruins the seamless UX. Maybe it could be optional to toggle switch to have it enable Touch ID/Face ID just by entering the password in the pop up overlay. This would just remove so much friction from using the app. 2nd and 3rd thing we’re fixed before I even wrote this review but hadn’t noticed yet. Great job from people at 1Password there! Just makes sure you are in a vault, rather than all vaults if you have multiple vaults and want to add a new entry. Extra customisable categories for codes you get and need to put somewhere would be nice but again secure notes is working for now. This is first review in while as I really want this app to be great and with these minor changes I would recommend it to anyone..Version: 7.3.6

Beyond exemplary customer serviceI have loved this app mostly because it makes me feel safe and able to manage my innumerable passwords, but also for its ease of use. As often happens when starting to use a product, I wasn’t thinking of what would happen if I ran into trouble with it later. Luckily for me, their customer service is beyond exemplary. I have had little glitches (something I messed up) in the past, and they always helped quickly. But this time I had a headscratcher issue where the browser, the website server and virus protection met in a perfect storm, and the 1Password team, namely Tully, stuck with me and walked me through every step of the long troubleshooting way, their instructions always precise and detailed for the non-techie I am (even when referring to processes that weren’t directly related to their app). Clearly they did their research and put themselves in my shoes. I am deeply grateful. Without them, I would have given up AND been (mistakenly) panicked about the integrity of my data. I think this kind of customer service would make the app worth buying even if it weren’t as awesome as it is!.Version: 7.0.5

Top notch A1Best in class – bar none. Initially a bit confusing but once you learn their UI model, there’s nothing better. After having been compromised 4 times by well known usually reputable companies it was time to get serious. 1Password gives me the peace of mind I need in today’s online zoo. As a former computer security specialist I researched these guys and they checked all my boxes. Common UI regardless of platform eases use. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 7.4.2

Great in almost all waysYes, this app will not badger you to leave a review and that's a reflection of the outstanding professionalism of the people behind the scenes. I have never lost a single item stored with 1Password and it has saved me days of time by not having to reset a forgotten password. It has led the way since day one with the secure keychain concept and I trust it more than Apple's own late-for-the-show implementation of just a subset of what this app does with ease. Now if we could establish truly secure transport encryption and authentication at websites of the caliber of this product I'll be happy. This is the best money I've spent on any app, ever. The fingerprint unlocking has been fantastic but for some reason on iOS 11.3, 1Password, and 1Password only, is not providing the fingerprint unlocking option. It says that my fingerprints have changed (they had not) and I even went to setting to redo them all and 1Password, only, gives the same message when switched to allow fingerprint unlocking and when the app is launched, it allows for the master password only. I suspect that 1Password has stricter requirements for trusting fingerprints than other apps and that this iOS update is responsible. Otherwise the app performs great as usual. Even despite this I highly recommend this app and the people behind it. I fully expect the 1Password team to tell me how to fix this quickly..Version: 7.0.5

Many years of useI have used 1 Password since 2007 and have never looked back! It’s so worth it because I hate having to remember all the passwords I have and also like the Password Generator function!.Version: 7.7

Amazing, simple and secure way to store passwords and informationForget Lastpass and all of those other online password managers. Anything can be hacked as long as it is connected to the internet. 1Password give you back control by letting you keep your passwords offline on your own devices, on your iPad, iPhone, and PC/Mac. If you’re not okay with the concept of having to reset all of your passwords, or losing your data to an identity thief, then 1Password is for you..Version: 7.0.6

Best password managerAfter LastPass has issues with 13.1, I decided to give 1 password a try. So glad I did. They make it simple to pull in your data from LastPass and their app is so much more polished. The overall layout and dark mode support are fantastic. Keep up the good work! I also want to add there is a lot of misinformation in many of the reviews. You will not lose access to your passwords if you cancel your subscription. You will simply have read only access. As far as price they are competitive with other password managers. I hate subscriptions as much as many but would add a developer myself I will tell you it’s not easy to keep a sustainable software business but only selling fixed licenses. The App Store is far to crowded now. Would you rather the company goes bankrupt and you lose a great app? If you want to save some money buy iTunes cards at Costco when they are on sale or use coin Star to use change lying around to add to your account..Version: 7.4.1

This is a really good app but be careful migrating from the original versionI had the original app which didn’t have an account and no secret key. When I moved to the new version I had a lot of problems until I was able to delete old versions after which the setup was simple. You will need to do this on each computer you use. Installing onto iPhone and iPad just requires a QQR scanner or sending a link. The support site made this easy once I worked out what I had to do which wasn’t obvious..Version: 7.4.3

Good software!I’ve been using 1Password for years and it’s good, solid software. I have several niggles and frustrations but they get slowly resolved over time and their support is great. It’s expensive but I’m “trusting my digital life” to them so hopefully the money helps them do a good job and take security seriously..Version: 7.0.3

Intuitive, Simple, Flexible yet Secure😅Awesome app. I had been considering using one for about a year but was extremely concerned with putting all passwords in one place! However, managing all my passwords and logins was getting to be an impossible manual task. Then my nephew told me he and several of his work colleagues (all savvy finance senior leaders) were using 1Password and they were all extremely happy with the simplicity, security and having all the information at their fingertips on their global work travels. App takes playing around with after installation to get familiar initially - like anything. And after viewing the ample 1Password resources on their support site, I have created separate vaults for various categories for quick access and it is a pleasure to use the app with total piece of mind. Wonder why I hesitated for so long to use a password manager despite having read several experts recommending using one. After detailed reviews of several of the top password managers on the market (free and paid ones), it was a pretty simple choice for me to go with 1Password Manager and I am very happy with my choice. Works flawlessly every single time and syncs with all my devices in real time 😃. So far, I have had NO issues and I can recommend it highly to anyone considering getting one..Version: 7.5.2

When you need the Very BestAfter many, many OS updates, my no longer supported secure note saver app failed to load. Thankfully, my iPad hadn't updated yet so my backup copy of the date file was still available. Even so, I have hundreds of data records, and moving them all to another app was gonna be a nightmare. I played with a number of apps until I found this one! Building a new data base that can be accessed from any PC or IOS device was huge!! No endless hours of entering hundreds of records via an iPhone keypad! Even using a PC keyboard, it took most of two days to rebuild my base of secure data records and passwords. An update on any authorized device is Immediately seen on all other devices! This is great! And I've only touched the Basic features of this App!! Now I'm constantly looking for things to add! Insurance data, vehicle info and numbers, just about any piece of information you might need on a moments notice and the touch of a button. Looking for a very secure data saver, give the trial period a shot; I'm sure you won't be disappointed..Version: 6.9.1

FaceID needs work - please remove lockoutGreat app, but FaceID sometimes will inexplicably fail for this app (and not others when used within a few seconds of each other) and then revert to master password mode only after just a few failures. This is extremely annoying, as it means a secure master password must be then retrieved (which may not be nearby) and means all of your passwords are held hostage until then. No other app seems to do this..Version: 7.0.3

So goodWhat an incredible app. 1Password makes is so very easy to create, store and retrieve all the passwords and secret data I have in my life. I honestly don't know how I used the internet before it. I'd use the same password for everything, and had to have my wallet on me for every online purchase I made for my credit card. Just get it. It'll be one of the best apps you buy for your device..Version: 7.3

Tu mi-nouneTrès utile quand ns sommes à l’extérieur de la maison.Version: 7.7.1

Great app!Usability is fantastic.Version: 7.7.1

Hard to useCompared to the desktop version, app version is very to use and I find no way to delete my old account..Version: 7.4.2

Essential!Such a useful app for capturing all of the sensitive information it's useful to have to hand i.e. NI number, passport number, bank account details, PIN numbers for credit cards I rarely use. It's a great relief to have filled this app with the login credentials I use for various websites, now I don't have to stress about remembering them. I've had real difficulties in the past remembering all of my passwords, because I have so many, and use different passwords with significantly varying complexity. I’ve signed up for the family account to get the family on here as well, because I’m fed up having to sort out lost passwords, forgotten accounts and a whole host of other problems, like relatives using ridiculously simple passwords. I’ve used this app for several years and it keeps getting better and better! Keep up the good work..Version: 7.9

Great app but suggestionLast time I put in a Q.O.L. request you changed how the app worked in less than a month! So here it goes again, when I login to a mobile app or website on mobile (or desktop come to think of it), sometimes I have already created a login, but it hasn’t linked to a particular web address yet. Unfortunately the only way to add a web address is to app switch to 1Password and manually type the web address in. Could you change so when the screen pops up with “no logins found” and the web address, underneath it should have a “link to login” button which then allows me to search and choose a login to add the web address to. Apart from the stellar app as usual! Keep up the amazing work!!! 😊 highly recommended!!!.Version: 7.9.2

Does what it saysEasy to use and does what it says on the tin. I use it cross platform and cross browser and I prefer trusting an independent company to do this..Version: 7.6.2

Terrific password managerI use 1Password to handle all my passwords and software licenses. The fact that I can use it to sync across my iPhone, home Mac and work PC makes it super helpful, as do the browser plugins for Chrome and Firefox. I use this thing every day for all my passwords. Gone are the days of asking, "What variation of my 3 common passwords did I use on this website I haven't visited in 5 years?" I'll never have to remember another password again! My favorite feature is the multiple types of data it can store: not just passwords, but software licenses, IDs, credit cards, even encrypted memos. I use it to keep anything. A few weeks ago, I decided to go through my entire password library and randomize all my passwords. With over 200 logins, this was a big task. However, 1Password made it simple and relatively quick. The secure password generator makes it easy to create unique and truly complicated passwords that will conform to all the different assinine criteria imposed by different web services. It even works as an OTP generator for those logins that work with 2FA. Thanks to 1Password, my entire digital life is easier and more secure..Version: 7.6

Just worksIn the spirit of food apps, 1Password just does what it should. Just buy the subscription, seriously people spend more of daily coffee or whatever, and this app is so good for simplifying your digital life. With the cross platform syncing I use it on my phones, work PC, home MacBook all seamlessly. Thanks team!.Version: 7.3

Nothing else comes closeI miss the built-in browser and hate that some apps are trying to push Apple’s keychain instead now (more so than before), but it’s still the best password manager out there, imo. I used to work for a cyber security company as a developer, where I became increasing paranoid 😂, and I trust it. Having said that, a good password manager is only one part of a strong security plan. Make sure your hard drives are always encrypted on your laptop, limit sharing locations, only upgrade software immediately when you know it has a security fix (sometimes there is a vulnerability in new versions), and a bunch of other stuff you can do. Finally, be very careful with your master password! Devs don’t bother you with requesting reviews, it’s quite organized and has many useful security features. Never is laggy or glitchy. Sync seems to work well. Seems a great app and company. Been using it for several years now and can highly recommend it..Version: 7.0.4

IndispensableI use it on my iPad, iPhone, iMac & MacBook and cannot do without of. The developer is very responsive and 1Password just gets better with every release. Others have explained what it does and I will not elaborate. I once went into meltdown when I was locked out and could not access any of my passwords. I wrote to customer care thinking that it was in Canada and that I would have to wait 6 hours for a response, as I am in the UK, however, a Spanish company representative contact me promptly and said that somehow my iMac keyboard must have been changed from UK to US. This was utter rubbish, as I hadn’t touched it, BUT she was absolutely correct!! So in summary this is a great and indispensable app, with excellent customer care..Version: 7.3

I use it everydayThis is a wonderful password manager app with excellent integration with iOS. I only wish that syncing for vaults used services other than Dropbox or iCloud. While Dropbox syncs across Windows or Apple devices, the free tier is now limited to only three of these. iCloud is an excellent alternative, unless I want to sync to my two Windows machines. Another multi system, cross platform option would be very welcome..Version: 7.3.2

Versatile and secure.Nearly one year into using 1P in iPhone and iPad, occasionally on PC. Added several 100 logins, router info, card info. Pleased with the versatility to select 1P or Keychain option to fill passwords in iOS. I like the built in browser. Keychain is complementary to 1P and remains useful. 1P adds significant functionality e.g. secure storage of non-password data. 1P has strong privacy once a robust Master Password is set and memorised. A clean interface and good default settings have allowed easing towards advanced settings and functions with reasonable confidence. As a security beginner, I didn’t find this process as easy with other password managers that I trialled. YMMV. I am happy with selecting a good value subscription model that should allow the program to update vs evolving online insecurities. Emails and active 1P support of r/1password are great learning add ons. This is a versatile and secure app and environment best suited to moderate and advanced users..Version: 7.3.3

Brilliant appNever fails. Share passwords with family for family things and keep a private vault. So easy to login to things, much more secure and far less duplication and mess than keychain, where it’s always too hard to delete old passwords and set up errors..Version: 7.4.5

App vraiment pratiqueWow belle app pratique et efficace même avec la version gratuite.Version: 7.2.2

Best utility I never knew I neededI was hesitant to use this app, as I thought it would be more of a hassle than apples built in keychain, however I was wrong - very easy to use on iOS (a couple more steps on safari on MacOS than keychain). The power of this is knowing exactly what and how many passwords you have, and once set up it alerted to me to just how many dangerously insecure passwords I was using on various sites. I also have several apps on MacOS that I log into regularly, and 1Password makes it so much easier to use secure passwords on these apps..Version: 7.2.1

1Password for TeamsNo password manager can fulfil all user requirements, but this programme comes close (especially with v6). It handles most websites properly, with only occasional issues in updating passwords where confirmation required. I have not experienced any database corruption, and the multi-platform and -vault support makes use at home and work use easier. On the occasions support has been accessed - prompt, polite and efficient. Good one..Version: 6.9

Give it a chance, it’s worth the subscriptionI am a long time 1Password user (without looking it up 6-8 years). I, like a lot of other users, was not thrilled upon discovering the new subscription plan. Also I was concerned after reading some of the reviews about having to copy and paste to fill in login information. This is simply put, not the case! I find the functionality of 1Password 7 to be as good and in many cases better than prior versions. I use 1Password on iPhone, iPad, MacBook and occasionally on work or family members PC’s. 1Password has continually improved over the years and it is significantly better and more usable on iPhone and iPad than in the past. 1Password consistently comes out with updates, fixes and improvements. After using version 7, considering a cost benefit analysis and consideration of long term dependability and development, I am definitely willing to pay the monthly or annual fee. Please don’t rule out 1Password 7 without giving it a chance. Also it seems clear that 1Password is committed to great customer service. I have the family plan, and while I have never needed customer service, they were extremely helpful to my mom before I added her to my family. Also littered throughout the comments and reviews they consistently reach out to users and offer assistance..Version: 7.4.1

Secure yes (I think) Intuitive noSo far I have had the most frustrating time coming to terms with the features of 1Password This has become better with time but I feel like it’s forcing me to change and learn counter-intuitively rather than follow a logical flow. Added, there is a frustrating selection of websites that 1Password seems to have trouble with. I will persevere but .... Like I said, maybe in time Well in time I am happier, not completely intuitive but familiarity breeds some contentment.Version: 7.5.1

Game changer for password managementPrior to using 1Pass, I was using Lastpass and it was a mess. A few months ago, I swapped to 1Pass and it’s been SUCH a better experience. For one, the password entry process is much smoother and reliable. Also, the interface is easier to navigate and the features (like alerting you if you have comprised or duplicate passwords) is awesome. The integration between desktop, my iPhone and iPad is fantastic. My only complaint on 1Pass is that if you are using it on your browser you have to click the extension to fill it in (the login details do not auto fill). At first, this was annoying (and there might be a way to shortcut this) but I realized this also helps me make sure I have the right login selected. (I have multiple accounts for the same websites with work/clients). Switching password managers (or) setting one up is a total pain, but 1Pass is the way to go! Highly recommend. They also have real people who are helpful answering support tickets when I had a question!.Version: 7.7

Peace of mind and ease of useVery fast, smooth sync across all my devices. So many passwords these days - couldn't get through without this app..Version: 7.3

Wouldn’t use anotherEasy to use. Comprehensive options..Version: 7.9.2

Real security at lastWith this app you can start using very complex passwords for each web site instead of using the same one over again. I, like a lot of people find it annoying to use long and different passwords on every site I use. Now I only need one which gives me access to all the others. A quick copy and paste and off we go. I also like the Apple Watch option which allows me to quickly access my passwords, even when my iPhone is out of range. Having the sync work between all my devices really helps and is easy to use with the browser plugin. It’s time to stop using simple passwords on the same sites and take back your security. Highly recommend..Version: 6.9.1

Convenient, reliable, and peace of mindA safe haven for your passwords, account information, or just any valuable information for that matter. Accessed with one master password only YOU know and can remember easily, you’ll have an overview of ALL your inputed accounts or information with their respective passwords, PIN numbers, and security questions with answers. One of the great features of 1Password is that it can generate passwords for you if you so choose. You can set it up to where you can have 25 characters total with numbers and uppercase letters thrown into the mix (25 not being the max but you get the idea!) Absolutely a MUST have app for your phone if you have multiple online accounts. You ever sit there trying to get on an account you haven’t signed to in a while and you go through papers or whatever method you use to keep track of your passwords trying to desperately remember? Well look no further 1Password is here and all you got to do is open the app, type in the master password or use FaceID/TouchID, and boom! Tap on that password for the account you were just trying to access - COPY then bam! Paste that into the type bar and you’re good to go. No big deal, forget about it! Hope this review helps and honestly it really does give you peace of mind knowing you can create the most secure password with the most characters used, forget it, then simply access the app and there you have it just ready to be copied and pasted..Version: 7.1.1

Best pw manager hands down !I’ve been using for years I don’t even remember when I first started it’s been that long I’m a paid member and I will always be. I love the ease quickness Face ID adding notes admin pws soc sec credit cards just everything so much I can’t even list. It keeps you up to date notifies you of overuse or time to change if need be your pw and it’s always ALWAYS kept up to date. The uix is the nicest of all the password managers the developers are right there when you neeed them and every update is better than the previous. I see some reviewers with low stars saying stuff like you have to fill all the lines or you can’t save your pw not true or they press notes and it doesn’t open etc and I’m telling you that’s simply not true and Face ID is super quick. I’m assuming they must not be using it correctly somehow which is crazy bc it’s so simple I have on all my devices iPad Pro Mac Pro and Xs max I can’t live without it. Thank you so much for all you do!.Version: 7.2.1

Don't know how I would function without it...My #1 most used toolI've had 1password since they were sold as individual licenses and from Day 1 it's been the tool I rely on most heavily in my day to day tasks. I use it to store everything I might need to access to, from passwords to passport numbers. Form filling can be a bit spotty depending on the occasion and the 1browser could use more thinking through to be truly functional, but the ease of access and security can't be beat. I've tried out most of the competition, but I keep coming back to 1P for it's UI, number of data types supported and ease of integration into my daily task flow across all my devices. Maybe it's because I'm so familiar with how 1P operates, but the competition never really struck me as in the same league. I finally bit the bullet and signed up for the subscription service, and I don't regret it one bit. My biggest complaint with the single license version was the removal of the web access functionality, but now I have it back and it's better than it's ever been before, and I have instantaneous syncing across all my platforms to boot. 100% recommended to anyone that wants to stop worrying about online security and is willing to put the initial effort into migrating you're info in and filing it properly. If you can actually complete that you'll wonder why you went so long without it..Version: 7.0.4

Now, if 1password could just remind me where I left my glassesLove it. I do not know how I survived without password management; or perhaps I do and I just don’t want to think about that time in my life anymore. Sit back and enjoy a life lived beneath the comforting skies of 32 character passwords that you’ll never need to write down or have tattooed somewhere painful. Do it. Make your avatar and your online life safe and secure. Access every site securely from all of your devices. Makes planning the next social and economic revolution painless and carefree. Truthfully, as a web developer and operational manager this app has changed my life forever..Version: 7.5.3

Security made easyI only need to remember one master password while it secures my accounts across multiple devices and works with 2 factor authentication too!.Version: 7.9.2

Does what it says on the lidStores all sorts of information - passwords, credit card numbers, PINs, passports etc. Very slick integration with browsers and with password entry on iOS via keyboard accessories. Also slick the way one time passwords are handled. Open and fill works mostly (there’s a few websites that fail some part because the ID, password or client ID fields are messed up with JS - notably banks). Integrates with fingerprint reader and facial recognition. I used a variety of other password managers in the past, and all had some sort of sync issues. This doesn’t. You can either subscribe OR (as I have done) use Dropbox to share the password file across devices. I really like this feature because it keeps the keeper of secrets and encryptor of passwords (1Pass) separate from the sync engine (Dropbox). *You should never store secret information in Dropbox unless its encrypted*. Places it could be better: - Handling other web fields (such as client ID) - Better categories (what’s the difference between a login and password? Or a server?).Version: 7.3.6

Brilliant password managerAwesome password management app. I’ve been using it for 2 years now with the family subscription. Only problem is a few months back, one of the updates removed the button to return to the browser. Now the only way to return to the in app browser is to click on a URL for one of the entries to launch the browser, then use the tab viewer to get back to the window used previously. Will have to resort to using Safari till this is resolved. Update: Surprisingly, Agilebits actually recommend using Safari as the better option over 1Browser..Version: 7.0.6

1Password - Money well spentI have been using one password for years and it is brilliant. It is easy to use and because I have memory problems it makes life so easy. No more forgotten passwords and resets. The user interface is great and the complex password generation function is outstanding. All you have to do is remember a single password to get into the app and you can relax. As it has face recognition you don’t have type it in to open the app but make sure you use the manual password every now and again so you don’t forget that password too. The ongoing monthly fee might put you off but it is money well spent. Hands down the most important and best app on my iOS. Highly recommended for a busy person who needs to remember multiple passwords and those who need to generate complex passwords for important apps and websites..Version: 7.6.2

Hands down, the best password manager for iOS!I have used the 1Password program for Mac since its early days, and I have used the companion iOS app since it first came out as well. These two programs are, hands down, the best Password Manager on the market. Constantly updated, ever useful and obviously keen software developers, this tool keeps my online presence secure. An essential purchase for all Mac users!.Version: 6.9.1

Absolutely Great. Get Organized.I’ve been using this app for several years and it has really increased the security of my online accounts by having unique and strong passwords for all accounts. No more resetting my password every time I want to log into a rarely used account. I’ve had it long enough that I have now built a collection of hundreds of passwords and they’re all up to date, unique and secure. I’m still holding off on the subscription service, I back up to iCloud and it has always synced my several iOS devices and iMac perfectly. If I update a password on one iPhone the other iPhone or iPad will reflect that instantly. They also offer a great security white paper which is actually fun to read. I really wish they would have utilized the Cloud Kit Share function to share a vault with my wife via iCloud. This can still be done by syncing thru Dropbox instead of iCloud but I trust iCloud with my encrypted vault more than Dropbox. If you’re really paranoid, you can backup via WiFi to you Mac. This app is nearly perfect. Developers: please do not force your Premium Purchase members into your subscription service, I’d probably give the system up. I’d gladly pay again during a major update. Despite your incredible security I’m just not ready to have my data on your AWS servers. Get this app, it will literally change your life in many ways if you’re diligent in keeping it updated, which is easy because it’ll prompt you on MacOS..Version: 7.2

My most used appWhenever I get a new device, this is the first app I install. All of my services I use all have long, complex, unique passwords. Previously, in apps it was a bit of a faff to get passwords across, but now with iOS 12’s password integration it is now much quicker. They also make great desktop apps for Windows and Mac with plugin integration for all the main browsers, or they have 1Password X for Chrome and Firefox where you don’t even need the app, so it will work on Linux and Chrome OS. People may balk at the price, but if there is one thing you are going to pay for then you should pay for a password manager. With so many websites getting hacked, it is a no brainer to have a unique password for every site you use. The apps receive regular updates and I think the UI is nicer to use than the competition like LastPass..Version: 7.2.5

Amazing for peace of mindAs far as I understand, I’ve been using 1Password for probably over a decade now, since my dad introduced it to me when I first started needing to enhance my online security. From what I love about the app is the constant synchronization between my computers, my iPad, and my phone. It’s just so simple! And with iOS 11, they added drag an drop? They just keep adding more and more features to keep it fresh and usable. I try to imagine what it would be like if the app was the same app from many years ago when the only online syncing option was through Dropbox.... now everything is in iCloud for me. My one issue is something more of an issue that I think iOS restricts, and that’s to allow 1Password access to keyboards to use usernames and passwords in other apps on the phone. With the new side loading multitasking in iOS 11, the iPad experience is great, but on the phone, it’s still somewhat annoying to double tap to switch between apps etc. Still, it’s always my recommended password manager to everyone I know..Version: 6.9

My most important AppIf I had to reduce my app count to 1, this would be the winner! It's an invaluable tool. Keeps my passwords and other personal data secure and safe. I've had this app a few years and I am now surprised to find I have over 250 passwords. All different. All complex. All secure. Plus the fact I never have to remember them, as 1Password does all the work for me :) If I read about a company being a victim of a database attack, no sweat. Just a few taps of a key, and I've generated a new password and it's saved for future reference. NB: Just make sure you don’t loose or forget your master password! It’s there for a reason! - i.e. to stop people from getting access to your most personal details! I’ve seen a few negative reviews where people have forgotten or lost their master password and are giving 1Password staff a hard time, as they can’t retrieve their data. Guys, this is what a master password is for. What do you expect? If you can’t be bothered to remember it, it’s your own fault, no one else’s. Keep up the good work 1Password. I’d be lost without you..Version: 7.2.7

Indispensable Tool in the Internet AgeI have been using 1Password for several years and, quite frankly, it is the 1st application I load on any new computer or device. All of my internet account passwords are maintained by this application (and service) and the value provided by 1Password is genuine. All of my account passwords are 20+ random characters and every account has a different password. This is critical for cyber security and 1Password helps me do it. I have used 1Password on multiple iOS devices, macOS computers, and windows computers. Their syncing service is reliable and fast. The inherent encryption of the 1Password vaults (databases) helps keep all of my passwords safe. The ability to have multiple vaults and to share some vaults when using the family or team 1Password sync services also allows me to securely share information between my spouse and myself as well as with my kids. While I hate subscription models for applications that do not provide continuing services, 1Password does provide their robust syncing service along with excellent applications on the platforms they support. The cost for the service is reasonable and, at least for me and my family, one that we find valuable..Version: 7.3.2

A must have app.I really mean it when I say this is an app everyone should have.. by using it I am able to keep a different and much more secure password for each account, which in this day and age is a necessity. Just think if someone were able to get one password and you shared it with all accounts.. definitely has the potential to become a nightmare situation. The only issues I have had with the app so far were: My fingerprint read incorrectly a few times and after too many failed attempts locked me out, which may not have been a big deal except I had forgotten my master password and until I was able to figure it out again I was locked out of the app and unable to get in to a few of my accounts which I didn’t remember the password for. This really was a good thing as it shows how secure the app is.. just don’t forget (or share) your master password! The other thing that bothered me was that I paid for pro services, and then when I cancelled the pro I continued to be billed for a long time until I had checked my statement and realized it. Aside from those things, this app is one of my most used. I’d give it five stars but the pro thing left a bad taste in my mouth..Version: 7.0.5

Excellent.Works every time. Fiendish passwords, random numbers, letters & other select characters. Never even one dictionary word... is, it, a, on & as, are obvious, yet trivial exceptions. The weakest link in most security systems these days is the human factor, people pick lousy passwords, nearly always. This product allows you to use virtually unguessable, nearly impossible to remember passwords. Integrates well with iOS Apps and websites. Setting up a new ID/password for an app, service, or website is usually easy, but can, occasionally, be tricky. It’s Always worth while. I provide my password to Netflix around once a year if that, I’d never remember Any password that was used that infrequently. I can’t recommend this product highly enough..Version: 7.7

Simply The Best1Password is simply the best password management app out there. Blissfully simple to use. Seriously can't remember how painful password management was before using 1Password. This app is definitely a must-have. I've sprung for the full Pro version and don't regret it. The developers are amazing and I want to thank you for this amazing app. You've made digital life that much easier. :-)..Version: 7.0.4

My most trusted appI've been using 1Password since 2009 on Macs, iPads and iPhones. Whilst there has been a few bumps on the road, I must say that the latest iOS version 7.6.2 is by far the most troublesome I've experienced. I expect the great people behind this app is already on the case and that a 7.6.2.1 is already in the pipeline, because that's what so great about this app, the people behind it really loves their app and by the time I notice something odd, there's (usually) already a fix. Right now I'm unable to edit existing entries, scrolling is exceptionally slow and the iOS app invariably freezes after 20-30s and nothing short of an iPhone reboot seems to unfreeze it... If you're trying to decide if you should get this app, my advice still is, get 1Password. The latest bumps will be ironed out in no time and this is by far the best app in its field..Version: 7.6.2

Best password manager out there.1Password is honestly one of the best password managers ive tried out. Its affordable, easy to use, and pleasant to look at. Privacy is allways first telling you if your password is unsecure or has been in a data breach. It makes filling out forms SO easy. I cannot explain how much i love pressing thag button above my keyboard instead of having to guess a password. They also have really great customer support (1-2 hour response). However the app isnt perfect. There is 2FA support but i dont for the life of me know how it works why is there no specific tab or even app? I would love cross platform 2FA but im not sure if this is possible. Imagine if 1Password could autofill your 6 digit codes when you login. It is also a PAIN to setup on new desktop devices. Like at schools colleges and universities they all reset the pcs each time you login, going through it is a whole process and trying to login to a website when your password is 50 random letters can be a huge pain. But these minor gripes aside it is a truly great app. The team acctually feel like they care about their product, adding features customers ask for regularly (like custom thumbnails which I love). I would 100% recommend 1Password over any other password manager :) ..Version: 7.5.1

In use for several yearsWorks well with Safari, Chrome doesn’t always update password changes, but you can find these. Best features: Relatively easy to change passwords. Works across different devices Generates complex passwords.Version: 7.3

AppFantastic app, will continue to use it, its a bit of a life changer. One improvement would be to have the ability to load a photo or PDF for things such as instructions. Loading a photo would be a lot easier than typing into notes.Version: 7.3.6

Wouldn’t be without it!A password manager is absolutely essential now if you do anything on-line at all. And this is the best! It runs flawlessly on all our devices, phones, tablets and computers for a single annual payment (I can’t remember how much but it’s not a lot and worth every penny). We couldn’t live in the digital age without this! I’m a bit paranoid about security, and the whole thing of storing the vault in the cloud, even though it is stored securely, so there are a few passwords that I don’t store in it. These are our online banking ones, because if they were compromised, our money could be stolen. If the other passwords were compromised, it would be seriously inconvenient, but less dire. For those, the convenience of cloud storage outweighs the low probability of compromised data. Whereas for online banking, for us, the equation tips the other way. But that’s just us..Version: 7.3.5

A must-have security toolA must-have tool for anyone living online with accounts spread around various sites, and especially for any site or service that has your financial details or other sensitive information, because who can remember individual complex passwords for each site or forum you visit, without reusing the same simple easily-hacked password? Password-stuffing leaked password lists and brute forcing easily-guessed passwords are the most common ways of getting hacked, along with simple email scams and phishing attacks to harvest your credentials..Version: 7.7.1

GreatOver the past year I’ve had so many attempts by scammers to take advantage that I began to get very interested in my privacy and my online workflow. All the material I read suggested a good password manager as a first step and 1Password has the a great reputation. After an initial free trial I was in no doubts about signing up for the subscription; it’s an effective and simple system that is easy to navigate and assimilates into my existing technology. Changing all my passwords on all online accounts was quite daunting and is not something you have to do all at once but if you have some free time and you want the feeling of control I highly recommend starting off that way! Now I know all the accounts I have and 1Password takes care of them all..Version: 7.7.1

My most used utility appThis is a secure and useful app that I use daily to store not only passwords but all my critical personal information across my Mac, iPad and iPhone. My wish list of future features if the team could cram them into this already great app are; - ability to scan documents, credit cards, licenses, etc. straight into the app. - an alarm field to send a reminder of upcoming due dates for renewal of licenses etc..Version: 7.1.1

Revised ReviewMy original review criticized the process of getting started with the app — specifically, synchronizing the records on my iMac with my phone and tablet. I contacted support and they identified the problem quickly: I had inadvertently opened phone and tablet into a different account. Once I fixed that, synchronization worked as advertised. Now that it’s all working (including sharing with my wife via a family account) I am very happy with 1PW. It does everything I hoped it would. I especially like the ability to add tags to a record, which makes things easier to find. My four-star rating is the average of five for the way it works now and three for the process of getting started. I haven’t changed my opinion that getting started is convoluted and frustrating. Many other reviewers have said the same. You coders working on the app need to make that better (this is much more important than adding new features), and whoever writes the documentation needs to simplify it and then test it out with people like me who are unfamiliar with the program..Version: 7.4.4

Superb app and support teamI’ve been using 1Password for a number of years and have always been happy with the features on offer and the seamless integration with my devices. I recently made the huge mistake of reinstalling the OS on all my devices at the same time , which locked me out of my 2FA app as the password to unlock my security tokens was in 1Password which in turn was protected by 2FA! This effectively meant I couldn’t access any of my passwords including the one for my primary email account. I raised a support ticket from an email address created for that purpose with little hope of being able to resolve the issue. Over the space of two weeks Zak and Connor were in regular contact and, although they made no promises, went the extra mile to assist. Long story short, after providing as much evidence as I could to prove my identity and allowing diagnostics to be run on each of my devices, 2FA was disabled. Access was regained using my emergency kit and all is well again. Highly efficient, friendly and professional service. Five stars!.Version: 7.7

FantasticGreat product. Life would be hell without it. Everyone needs a password manager to create unique secure passwords..Version: 7.9.3

Expensive, but the bestI’ve been using 1Password for many years without any problems...until I messed up my password. This is quite serious and took a long while to get everything restored. However I must say that tech support were fantastic and helped me through the process. I’ve looked at plenty other password apps, it nothing comes even close..Version: 7.4.2

Once you get it, you cannot be without itI thought I might need this app and now I’m 2 months into using it I could not be without it. Not only is it extremely useful and gives you a much greater peace of mind that all my passwords are different and complex but also, it is so well designed and user friendly. I cannot recommend it enough. After a month I quickly moved to the family account. Great design, great user interface, excellent customer service. Apart from say my internet banking app this is the most used and most useful app I have. Great job 1Password.Version: 7.9.5

Security is peace of mindIn these challenging times, knowing your data is private and secure is paramount. 1PASSWORD makes it easy to create and later access complex passwords for maximum security. The family subscription, shared vaults, and mobile apps makes it easy to educate others to be safe online as well. The new Tags feature may help with this but it would be great if you could create your own categories..Version: 7.6

Never forget your passwords againI have been using this app for over 2 years now. Haven’t had a single problem. Everything is secure and easy to use. The autofill function is the best part for me. I recommend this app to anyone worried about their passwords and login information..Version: 7.7.1

1Password is what most people need for personal cyber securityHaven’t used LastPass because I never needed it. 1Password is all you need to secure your passwords, generating strong passwords and just getting all your important documents secure. In the 2 or 3 years I’ve been using it, it’s only gotten better - I believe the 1Password team really care about this and want to make it the best it can be. It’s already awesome to use but I think everyone should watch this space 🙂.Version: 7.2.7

The single most important app on my phone1Password is simply the best designed, most bullet proof security/password app I have in my phone. Integrates perfectly with the Mac version, every update delivers something new that makes using the app more rewarding. Use it for remembering and generating secure passwords of course, use it for writing Secure Notes or Instructions you wish to have kept safe should, god forbid, anything happen to you. Bank account numbers, links to important files, anything of value can be kept in 1Password and accessed here on your phone. Touch ID can be enabled for Phone security. It’s the very first app I’d return to my phone if I had to start all over again. It’s simply that vital. The Best of Canadian ingenuity..Version: 7.0.3

ExcellentBrilliant app and platform. Would be nice if I could use biometric authentication every time rather than having to enter my password, but I understand that this is done for my security..Version: 7.4.7

Must have application .....surely?Never looked back since downloading this application. Have it across all my devices. This application has never failed me yet and more importantly the app is regularly updated and the support is second to none. When I think back to the days when I had passwords all over the place it was clearly a horror show. This application is a must for anyone with more than one password which hopefully you have. Some applications are a must and I personally class 1Password in that category, it works without a single hitch. To give the application less than 5 stars would be a disservice to the developers. The application is brilliant, fit for purpose and works..Version: 7.0.4

Flawless integration with Passwords all in one placeI have been using 1Password for 3 years now. I started with a family account and now I use an individual account. The program is updated regularly and meshes well with my use of Safari and the password system on the iPhone. The “Master Password” feels really safe and functions as a key to all your other passwords. I use Face ID so I don’t have type my very long Master Passeord every time. You can put into 1Password a wide variety of info from logins, credit cards, and basic personal info. It carries info across my Apple products to my MacBook and iPad. It has a seamless integration with Safari, so just as you would use the password functions on iPhone, this is fully integrated. But it feels so much more secure than the iPhone basic product. I strongly encourage you to consider using this program and you can streamline and adapt for your uses with so many options for customizations and user access ability. Best secure password program to help you keep everything in one place!.Version: 7.7.2

Fantastic piece of software, worth the monthly fee.1Password does not simply store your passwords. It allows you to generate complex new ones, and allows you to autofill your username/email/password in any login field. You can even add extra notes in every field, and add a direct link to the login page for every website etc. For me, the days of getting frustrated over forgotten passwords and annoying logins are over. And on top of that, you have the sense of security as your password is made up of random symbols, letters, and numbers in a fashion that is as secure as you could hope for. You don’t need to worry about remembering passwords, you don’t need to worry about having a weak password, and you can get quick access via TouchID. A truly useful app and highly recommended. The only improvement I can think of at this moment in time would be some kind of dark mode within the app. 5/5.Version: 7.0.6

Security is #1...therefore you need 1Password!I started using 1 Password many years ago, before most people ever heard of it! I held a Govt position that required extremely high-levels of data security demanding complex, extremely long, variable length (up to 16 in some cases), duplicate-character limitations and never repeatable with routine change requirements! Passwords were a way of life at work and therefore became habitual in private life. Without a safe, secure and trustable password protection app I would be lost. It’s just not possible for me to remember all of the passwords I routinely need. 1Password solved all of my password concerns and introduced a few potential gaps in my thinking too...and then had solutions to those problems! I highly recommend you give it a try. Take my advice don’t use your “one favorite” password for your logins! There’s no need with 1Password...if you don’t want to make up your own, it will even recommend them! Backup can be automatic too so you’ll never lose you “keys.” r/jack.Version: 7.6.2

The name gives it away!1Password is exactly that. One password is all you need to manage all of your other passwords. Apple's Keychain is good, but this is even better with Keychain as a backup. There is browser integration and it will auto-complete logins for you. There was a hiccup with my account when I installed it onto my MacBook and I've had to take out a monthly subscription to keep things running but for only £4 a month it's okay. This has simplified things anyway and you're provided with an 'Emergency Kit' to get you back online if anything else goes astray. It also uses face ID on my iPhone X to open the app which is amazing..Version: 7.0.3

Does everything I need, elegantly.Easy to add new passwords, more options than I need for categories, shares the collection across iPhone, iPad, MacBookPro and iMac seemingly within seconds, pops up when I need a password and has never let me down..Version: 7.4.2

Good appIt vus a bit of challenge to understand how it work and to know what membership I have..Version: 7.9.5

The bestGets better and better too with frequent updates. The option of two-factor authentication would make it perfect..Version: 7.0.5

Couldn’t be without itI use 1password every day. It is easy and simple to use, and gives me security and confidence when I have to juggle all the places I go on my computer. Brilliant..Version: 7.1.1

Excellent. Full of thought (and well implemented features)I had my misgivings when 1Password went to a subscription model. However, as much as I may not like that, we still have a local data store that syncs to cloud storage (I think it defaults to iCloud, but recall that there are instructions for other services). Thus, your passwords sync across all the devices that run 1Password, but it still works when one is offline. My favorite feature is the support for one-time passwords. You no longer need dedicated Authenticator apps. Which is nice as these Authenticator apps break when you install them on a new device; as they offer no means of transferring data from one device to a new one. Now I don’t have to fix app moderated two factor authentication when I setup a new device. I dropped Google’s and Microsoft’s Authenticator apps, and just use 1Password. 1Password’s one-time password feature works just like Google’s Authenticator. Thus, you do have to reconfigure two factor authentication one last time for each account where you use that. But, that should be it. I’ll never have to do it again, unless the site or services change something that requires a change. So far, I haven’t found a service that works with Google Authenticator that doesn’t work with 1Password’s one-time password feature..Version: 7.5.2

Worth the asking price1Password’s design and attention to detail have always been top notch, and nowadays the support across all platforms (including web) and quick pace of development are also compelling selling points for this password manage over others. I particularly love the family subscription and the way I can help share manage important information for my entire family..Version: 7.2.4

It takes a while to get used to it but then 👌Coming from LastPass, since my company uses 1Password I decided to migrate all my password management to 1P to have a single tool for everything. It took me a while to get used to how 1Password works and how it integrates with the daily routine, and I had to spend quite a considerable amount of time exploring the functionalities, to the point I even thought it wasn’t worth it. Once I managed to setup everything as I wanted I must say that I find it awesome, I’ve also migrated almost all my 2FA OTP to 1Password and the integration with a login flow (username+password, enter, automatically copies the OTP in your clipboard) is game changing. I decided to convert my account to a family one to share with my relatives, and I think the service is worth my money. I know there are free alternatives, but I’m having such a seamless experience that I’m not considering going back. One think I don’t like is the browsers extension: I prefer to use the direct integration with the 1P Mac App (which still fills in the fields) as opposed to the Chrome extension..Version: 7.3

1PasswordHi Guys, I have used 1Password for sometime now and wish to report it is fantastic. It has never let me down and certainly performs up to all its claims. Great work Guys..Version: 7.3.2

Be lost without itAlways trusted my old ‘system’ of passwords. Gave 1Password a try and now won’t go back. Feel confident that I now have good secure, and distinct, passwords for everything. Got my wife using it and now recommend it to all my friends and colleagues..Version: 7.3.6

Only one to tryOne Password is the best password manager I can find, and it integrates with iOS almost like a native app. Don’t bother trying anything else..Version: 7.2.6

Reliable. And relatively simple to useI’ve used 1Password for a few years now and it’s amazing how many passwords I have accumulated. The use of Touch ID is great but it can lead to you forgetting your Master Password. There should be a way to remind you every few months. Maybe by having an initial Touch ID login followed by a 2FA login or even just a time lock function that allows you to view your Master password after a day to secure against an aggravated attack. Otherwise I am very happy with it. One feature I would like is the ability to store a picture with my password. Sometimes it’s good to have a visual record. It’s available with a subscription but I am not interested in a subscription model. I would rather pay one off for the feature..Version: 7.2.7

Making my life easier for yearsI have been using 1Password for five years or more. Not many apps have this level of polish across CX, UX. Thank you Agile bits..Version: 7.7

My outboard memory made secureI've been using password managers for years across various mobile platforms and this is by far the best integrated, most powerful solution to the problem of having to set and retrieve secure passwords that I've ever used. A first rate tool - especially since they integrated it with the system's password tools so that I can direct it to use the 1Password database when needed - that ticks all the boxes for me. The nearest thing to a drawback that comes to mind is that using TouchID on my iPad Mini 4 makes me lazy about needing to remember my Master Password, so that one day 1Password will demand that I type in my Master Password (as it does occasionally, by design) and I'll realise that I've forgotten it. At which point I'll have nobody but myself to blame for the plight I'll find myself in..Version: 7.3.1

Thanks, from a long-time userNot a review so much as a heartfelt thanks, to the app developers, for making password management so easy. I’ve been a user since the moment the internet became too big to remember all one’s passwords. So. A long time. In internet years, practically an eon. I can’t count the number of friends and family members I’ve recommended the app to. In the case of elderly family members, it was usually following a Serious Discussion of why “theirname1234” was a bad password, and the importance of password diversity and security. Thankfully, 1Password helped the aunties and mums to make the transition to password management, easily. Thanks, developers. Sincerely..Version: 7.3.6

My only true "can't live without it" appThis is the only app review I have ever written. I felt compelled to offer my thoughts given how indispensable 1Password has become in my life. I use it numerous times each and every day and have found it to be the single best and most useful piece of software I own. It radically simplifies my online existence and does so elegantly and with a minimum of fuss. I have become an over-the-top (and likely somewhat annoying!), evangelist for the product with my friends and family. It's just that good and useful. I have found 1Password's customer service to be phenomenal, as well. They are responsive, competent, and clearly know and love the product. In summary, this is the most important app/service I own and I cannot recommend it highly enough..Version: 6.8.2

Saved my mind many a timeNot a lifesaver, literally speaking, but certainly saved my mind on many occasions. Wonderful app. I cannot recall the times I’ve breathed again after realising that I’d put some obscure login into 1Password, and was able once again to log in. The times I simply couldn’t remember a frequently-needed password are even more legion. This is in all seriousness one of my most used, and most valued apps..Version: 7.0

Awesome product from an awesome companyThis isn’t a review of 1password, per se. It’s an awesome product, I’ve been using it for years, and I love it. This is more of a review of the company itself. As you may know, Apple introduced a new feature in iOS 12 that allows you to use an app like 1Password in place of (or in conjunction with) Keychain. So no more leaving an app to launch 1password, copy the password, then relaunch the app to paste the password. It’s the biggest improvement since the share feature was introduced. To be fair, though, it’s just because Apple decided to loosen the reins a little bit. However, 1password had to be tweaked to take advantage of this new ability. They could have forced us to switch to a subscription plan in order to take advantage of this ability. But they didn’t; they gave it has a free update. I didn’t upgrade to the latest stand-alone version of 1Password on my Mac when it came out. But I have now, out of respect for this company. Thank you for this wonderful update!.Version: 7.2

Worth every pennyHow people manage without this I don’t know. Granted I have it for personal, work and my business, so I have A LOT of passwords, it’s become the most used app I have. My only criticism is... and I know this is personal, the UI isn’t as smooth and polished as I feel it could be, I don’t know why, I’ve just always thought it was a bit ‘old’. Search should be the main focus over categories, so a simple landing screen with a big search bar and a add new password would be great. On the Mac it defiantly needs sorting out. It just doesn’t look right, lots of wasted space. The password generator button is half hidden away. The add password and search are too small. Again make a new landing page with search and add new. The only other thing is it would be great to get Apple to allow you (yeah right) to choose 1password as the default password generator/suggestive rather than keychain. It’s annoying having to cancel their suggestion everytime..Version: 7.6

Without a doubt the best of the lot!Ok first, I was dubious that I’d even need a password manager… iCloud Keychain is fine, right? Wait ‘till you try out the interface & features of 1Password, there is no comparison. Maybe one of the others are better… so I trialed 4 alternatives (most cheaper) nothing comes close to 1Password. From synchronisation errors to clunky interfaces, mismatched between OS’s… let’s just say you get what you pay for with 1Password. With features like Watchtower & Family Plans, do yourself a favor & get 1Password. There is room for improvement, the process of generating a new password for a new login is clunky (particularly on iOS) but the devs. are active - iOS 13 dark mode support on day 1 of launch - so I have faith it’ll be improved soon..Version: 7.4

I’d be lost without itFor years my password management consisted of a small brown book filled with random passwords, old usernames, a complete nightmare. It worked if I remembered to have it nearby to add info to it. But was useless in the long run. Not to mention completely lacking of any security. If someone got hold of that book..... Ever since I began using 1password my life feels more organized, safe, and in control. I ALWAYS have my phone, and 1Password is always there to help me securely protect the hundreds of credentials I use on a regular basis. Now when I get an alert to change an expiring password, I don’t break out in a cold sweat wondering what should I come up with for a strong password but not too difficult for me to remember, I actually look forward password creation!.. with this amazing app I can automatically create 20+ character passwords that I (or anyone else) would never in a million years recall. Best part is I know where all my “secret” stuff is located. And in case my phone blows up I have a back up in my Dropbox. I tell everyone I know to get and use 1Password so they too can be liberated from the mentally challenging world of secure log ins..Version: 6.9

Have been using 1Password for 8 yearsI’ve been using 1Password for 8 years, I bought all the updates; I initially held off on the subscription, but have since signed up and am looking to get the family on also. I can’t imagine *not* having a password manager. And now that 1Password so nicely integrates with iOS I can finally remove all the passwords from my iCloud Keychain and rely solely on 1Password. The more devices you have, the more value the service offers. Daily, I interact with 5 separate devices, and having 1Password on each device means any service login is just shortcut away. AgileBits have a strong stance on security and privacy; maybe at times to their detriment, but their cause is noble; and in today’s world of regular security breaches (of which 1Password notifies of via WatchTower when such breaches occur) arguably a very smart decision. Sure there’s a cost, but what’s the cost of *NOT* protecting your keys to your digital kingdom?.Version: 7.3.1

Great appSo much safer than trying to keep track of my passwords. Looking at the list of logins in my file I realise it’s impossible to manage life online now without a password manager. Recommended!.Version: 7.9.5

Still the best and plays nice across all platformsStarted using this maybe 10 ish years ago because my memory sucked then and hasn’t gotten any better. After years of use now, I’ve seen the app evolve and just keep getting better. Although everyone is finally giving security the attention it deserves...this app has always been on top and is being updated constantly. Some of the integrated ones are good, but I still have this app as my main password type app as it does so much more and can be integrated everywhere since it doesn’t play favorites...don’t get me wrong...the others are nice respectively and I do use them just in case. But it just seems to me the flexibility, compatibility, updates, and constant attention 1Password offers sets it aside from others. My only gripe is I wish there was a one time purchase option as in the past. ...”subscriptions” drive me nuts...I get it from the Dev side and $ side but uhhhgggg! Keep up the good work guys....GUI and themes please!.Version: 7.3.1

1Password is Simply The Best, PeriodI have been using 1Password for Mac for no less than 7 years and still remember using the first 1Password app when it came out for iPhone (back before it was even called iOS). It was already good then and it’s become so much better over time. It has so many features and is so powerful as an app that I haven’t seen a legitimate competitor for it yet. AgileBits has been relentless in their improvement of the user experience over the years. One thing I really like is that they still give you control over your 1Password file if you want and don’t force you to use an unnecessary online service if you don’t want to, unlike competitors. For me, I prefer to have control and local copies of my 1Password vault and 1Password lets me do that. I constantly say that I pretty much couldn’t live without 1Password because I have a well over 100 logins that I would otherwise never be able to remember or have insecure passwords for to make it easier for me. If you’re reading this and still thinking about getting 1Password, just do it. You will not regret it!!.Version: 7.0

No passwords manager like 1Password!I’ve tried them all. Nothing compares to the polish and security features that 1Password offers. With the vault key, you truly are secure unlike other password managers..Version: 7.7.1

Best investment ever! This is the best software I have ever invested, I have been using it for more than 5 years - never once have I felt the need to look for an alternative because they keep upgrading with the best features. Compatibility is also never an issue because they keep up with the most recent iOS, Mac and Windows version. It is the best password manager on the market and I never ever have to remember my passwords. P.S. I love the drag and drop feature! Keep up the good work agilebits!.Version: 7.0

Brilliant App. I’m converted!I have put off having a legit password management application for ages. Let’s face it, if you can have something that is adequate without having to pay for it, such as the various built-in browser options, then why bother? I finally decided to trial 1Password yesterday after reading lots of reviews and I am incredibly glad that I have. Yes it is subscription only, but you certainly get what you pay for. The level of security is obviously extremely good, and I do feel more secure having a dedicated app with additional security features. The ease of use is great. I really like the ability to store 2FA tokens for websites in the app as well. This also allows me to remove most of mine from my mobile app, which if I were to lose my mobile and the risk of losing them, again it just feels much more secure for me. Lots of useful features and definitely absolutely converted. The cost is very reasonable and definitely worth it. I highly recommend Password1!.Version: 7.7.1

Impressively Easy & SecureA friend suggested I give 1Password a try after complaining about trying to remember different passwords and security questions, images, the bouncing numbers maybe capitalized maybe not and my favorite the click on the boxes that “have a wheel or car or sign”. I purchased 1 year for around $79 or $99 a year or two ago. First thing first, down load the app extension on your devices. For me that meant, app on iPhone, MacBook, surface pro, and Dell. I added the extension to Safari and chrome. I was curious to see how the app worked, so on my iPhone within the 1password app Facebook was the first website I tried. I entered the information into the app. Saved it. Then looked on all of the devices and Facebook info. Was there. Not sure if this helps but I HIGHLY suggest you try it. It has helped me and my family so much. I helped my mother and father (60’s) organize their stuff and if something happens no one knew where to find. And of course my kids loved the idea of Dad having their passwords LoL. But they have mine so it helped build trust. Good luck.Version: 7.2.1

Fantastic and Secure. Could do with some more localised categories.I’ve been using 1Password for around 6 years now and although it was slightly frustrating to transition from a License to a subscription I can understand why and it’s not that expensive either. Everything syncs really nicely and I do love travel mode for going into other countries. My only recommendation would be adding more localised options for categories. The example I can think off is we don’t have a social security number in the United Kingdom however we do have a National Insurance? So could we have that instead?.Version: 7.7

Brilliant companion appThis app is brilliant, particularly when used alongside the 1Password desktop app. I'd put off purchasing for a long time but I wish I hadn't. My old method of password management wasn't nearly as easy and secure as this. Yeah, it's a little expensive, however it's well worth the money. Support the developers who make great apps, and not that guy who stole money from my PayPal because I once used the same password twice. :).Version: 7.4.3

The updated 1Password is GENUINELY a game changer !!Initially I was very annoyed that they changed the interface. But having used the new one password chrome extension it is an absolute game changer. It has made my life so much easier rather than having to open an app every time I want to enter a password. The auto fill is super reliable and a huge improvement on the previous version. Well done and it is worth the subscription..Version: 7.3.2

What a lifesaver!1Password has the wonderful capacity to provide my family with their own private password vaults as well as a shared vault. This means we can all access the movies app we watch together and I’m no longer worried about what will happen when I fall off the perch. My partner will be able to open his important websites without having to ask me the password every time. And I’m no longer subjected to the moans and complaints about having to remember so many passwords. It is so liberating !!.Version: 7.3.5

Wow!I've been pretty hesitant to take the plunge into using a password manager of any type. On some level, I just think it's lulling me into a false sense of security like Anti-virus programs. That being said, my memory just isn't what it used to be and so I did a lot of research and found 1Password so I thought I'd give it a shot. So far, I'm not at all disappointed. It stores IDs for me, logins, passwords, CC info, you name it, I use it within the app. I only recently bought my first iPhone and Apple for the most hasn't been in my life. So, one thing I wanted in a PW Manager was sync capability with my Windows laptop. Long and short of it, the two work well with each other so I purchased the full version for each. It initially took me some figuring out (I just down deep hate to read manuals), how to sync them, but once I integrated my Dropbox account it was a cinch. I'm still skeptical about the security of password managers, but I'm happier using one that does what I want. A last word for AgileBits. Please don't tinker with 1Password. When you have something that works, it doesn't need improvement, and I become loyal. Ball's in your court so don't screw it up..Version: 7.0.6

Awesome Password Manager with great supportBeen using 1Password for a long time. Used to have a glowing review here, but there are enough of those. So instead going to give a shout out to their support forums. Not only does this app do a great job of managing my passwords, but they are very proactive in dealing with customer concerns, security issues, etc. at their support forums. When security issues arise with password managers they tend to post honest details about the problems. They seem to listen to feedback, have made details about how the password database is stores publicly available, so external security researches can double check on it. It’s well and good to talk about how well a password manager functions, but the important stuff is under the hood and hard for most people to tell how secure it actually is. AgileBits does a great job of addressing those concerns. So yes, the password manager has lots of cool useful features, but those are just icing. The underlying security models and the well handled support forums are why I rate this 5 stars..Version: 7.2.1

The best way I’ve found to secure your passwordIf you care about your privacy and security, then you need to use a password manager and 1Password is the best I’ve found. I really like how easy it makes it to quickly create new passwords, and securely share them with your family or co-workers. I also like how it monitors your accounts for hacks, and helps you update them if they are. I also use 1Password at a not-for-profit and found out they let us use it for free which is really cool of them!.Version: 7.7.2

Best Investment for my WorkI was on the search for great password managing software when I started in IT and this app came across. I trialed it and never went back. You will not find a more useful, simple yet elegant, cross platform password management software anywhere. Cheap, powerful, many helpful features, fast password retrieval (so you don’t have to screw around finding the correct password). Seriously guys, don’t look anywhere else 👌 Highly recommend! Thanks 1Password!!!.Version: 7.0.6

Lifesaver with two small flawsI’ve been a 1Password subscriber for a few years now due to the amount of personal and work passwords I have to remember and couldn’t live without it now. The latest update which allowed iOS 12 to auto fill passwords stored in 1Password was fantastic but it appears the name of the password in your vault has to exactly match the web address of the site requesting it or it says no login found. I would love to see an option to choose any password from your vault as at the moment I have to quit the app/website, go to 1Password, manually search, copy & paste as a workaround! Fixing this would There also appears to be another issue with when editing a password that a pop-up appears saying iPhone generated a secure password which will be stored in iCloud, when I tap to use strong password it doesn’t enter it in to the field in 1Password to allow me to save it. I’m not sure if this is an iOS or 1Password issue though..Version: 7.2.2

The best password managerI have used it since 2010 and could not be happier. Each year it gets better..Version: 7.7.6

Great AppI have been using 1Password for four to five years now and it has been a blessing. I forget a lot and this just helped me manage logins and passwords without worrying of forgetting them. It’s just gotten better and better over the years. The app is easy to manage. It might not be for everyone but you are creating an app that truly helped me. Kudos!.Version: 7.6.2

Changed my digital lifeI wish someone had made me try this earlier, I can't even begin to explain how beneficial this app has been, especially in situations where your data would've otherwise been comprised or lost. I cannot recommend highly enough to anyone!.Version: 6.8.2

BEST PASSWORD MANAGER EVER!!I love this app. When it comes to making your life easy it doesn’t get much better than this. I went from writing all of these ridiculously impossible to remember passwords down and painstakingly punching them in character by character, to breezing through logins like a 1Password boss. Not just passwords though. Oh no. Credit cards and all that jazz are securely stored in the app. It’s so secure, not even they can reset your password. Like, the company that makes the app can’t get into your ish (don’t lose that secret key!!) You gotta keep that thang on standby just in case (that thang being your emergency kit) How are they to know it’s really you trying to reset that master password? That’s how serious they are about security and making sure your logins and such are protected from the hackas or whateva (Boston voice). If you’re looking for a easy to use, secure than a mug password manager then look no further. Could there be a better one out there? Neigh!!! Lol jk who knows if there is. I don’t care. I’m a one password gal for life. Even though I’m a dude. And I’m out!! Carry on..Version: 7.7

App keep crashing V 4.7.1When trying to create new login, the app crashes after being frozen for few seconds. Please fix this issue as I don’t like rating the app 2 or 3 star. So far, one of the best application..Version: 7.4.1

This Is not an option, it's a mustBeen using 1Password for a few years. Have a database on Mac, iPad and iPhone. Most website/online service user IDs, use primary email address as the login ID, but all of my logins have a different difficult to crack (also dependent on the online service) password. This is a core app for me and I can't say enough about its quality, reliability and function. I would recommend it to anyone that's online..Version: 7.7

Just get it — NOW!So I haven’t written a review for an app in years but this is really an awesome app and I wish I had downloaded it sooner. I am definitely going to pay for it monthly moving forward. I am an all-Apple user and while iCloud Keychain is convenient, the features of 1Password are far more comprehensive and organized. Being that everything is online right now (even more so with COVID-19) logging into accounts can be a major pain and resetting passwords is a tremendous waste of time. Having the ability to “reset it and forget it” with this app has become a massive time saver for me. You will thank me later! Furthermore the customer service is wonderful and the desktop app (for Mac OS) works great too. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to add custom images to a listing on the iOS app (you can do it on the desktop version.) Other than that this app is really polished and a pleasure to use! Just start using it now and you won’t regret it!.Version: 7.5.1

Great password managerI’ve been a customer for a long time. 1Password just keeps getting better with each iteration. I wish they would update the password formulas though. I like to use the word formula because they are easier to remember. But this won’t capitalise, use digits or other special characters. Which makes it hard to use on websites that enforce certain password features. So I have to manually edit passwords after generation..Version: 7.2.7

Terrific ProductI’ve used 1Password since 2016 and have about 400 unique logins at this time. It’s a simple and intuitive product that can create and save complex, unique passwords. But it can also elevate to whatever your particular security concerns demand. If you want your passwords available on every browser you use, you can store your password vault with 1Password and use a browser extension. If you don’t want to store your vault with 1Password, you can store it on iCloud or Dropbox instead. If you don’t want your vault on the cloud at all, you can store it locally and sync it between devices whenever you want. I have not found this level of flexibility mixed with such a simple, functional interface in any other password manager. Without disparaging other products, they either all store your information on their servers by default or require significantly greater effort to keep your information local. I started with just a Mac trial and have since purchased a premium license on Mac, Windows and iOS. Simply put, it’s a great product that’s frequently updated. I can’t recommend another password manager more highly..Version: 7.4.1

Must have1Password is a life saver. Being secure online is so simple with this app. Everyone should have a password manager and this one is best in class..Version: 7.3

PfallEdited for clarity...Why can't you allow the option to view password, manual input for 1 password App? ( I know how to reveal PW once in the app. If I'm required to key in my PW to get into the app ( because of number of fails on biometric login) If there is no-one around looking, what difference does it make. Obscuring password has no security value at all.. In private, and makes it extremely difficult with long 30-50 character PW on a small screen ..Version: 7.2

Stellar Customer Service kept me hereHaving been on the 1password journey since 2013, I almost left and went to NordVPNs NordPass. However, the feature set is nothing like as good or as rich as with 1password. Unfortunately I’d ended up in a software cul-de-sac with version 6 and was about to bail as it was shutting down on my machine due to having tried a trial of version v7. The thing that made me stay was the outstanding customer support. (Thanks Greig in Scotland). I’ve now accepted the fact that I will have to pay for monthly subscription for whatever password management software I use if I want it to be half decent. The thing that kept me here was the feature set, multi platform and the customer service. Highly recommended and satisfied customer.Version: 7.7

Best in Class, Might be Best in ShowIt's by far the best password management app for anyone working across iOS/iPad/Mac. It might be the best iOS app period. Generating and filling passwords is seamless and rewarding that it's worth it to continue shifting your passwords over. It's the only app that's ever imposed a new habit on me and made it stick. **One complaint.. The review below was pre-populated along with 5 stars after I clicked“Review" in the app. It's common practice but 1P shouldn't be contributing to the consumer manipulation in the app store. Regardless, the app is fantastic and the review actually took the words out of my mouth. Onboarding can be a pain and will take time, but there’s no better and safer way to adopt basic online security. The app is also supported by wonderful and responsive devs. User Tips: Make a small investment each time you create a new login, update a password, get a credit card or restart your device (always worth entering the master password directly in the app to elongate retyping). Once you’re onboard, get a family plan and store your Netflix pw on the shared vault to force adoption..Version: 7.7.1

Outstanding customer relationsThis is without doubt the best password manager on the market. I have it installed on my Mac, iPhone and iPad. They are all kept in synch and mirror the information on my web site account. The browser extension to the Chrome browser completes the package. It is highly recommended that all passwords are unique and difficult to guess. I have over two hundred that I use on a regular basis and it would be impossible for me to remember them all. 1password makes password management a breeze and is particularly useful when used to auto login details on a web site In addition to password management, the app can be used to securely record details of other important information such as bank accounts, passport, software licences etc. It really is an invaluable tool I want to make special mention of the support. I started a trial and managed to open two vaults which made it difficult to synchronise the information and keep everything the same on all devices. Emails passed between us over an extended period of time and I initially thought that they would abandon me. Not a bit of it. The support staff at AgileBits patiently talked me through the steps necessary to sort things out and everything is now working fine Five stars.Version: 7.0.5

Been a must have since saving my digital lifeI always wanted to try something like this but always thought it was too much bother and that no one cares about my accounts enough to try to get into them. After a couple of leaks and weird accounts in my Facebook sign in history I decided it was time to take the plunge. I am so glad that I did between all the different clients and browser extensions I was able to integrate my home and work environments without a problem with secure, unique passwords and honestly haven’t even considered that someone could get into my accounts for weeks. I have become an annoying preacher to my friends and family and have to stop myself from raving about it every time I hear people discuss Facebook hacks. Definitely a must have for me and thanks so much for making me feel secure so easily!.Version: 6.9.1

The best password manager.Works seamlessly across all my devices and I use macOS, windows and iOS. I couldn't live without it now, simply indispensable..Version: 7.4

Still The One(Password)My husband and I have tried and tested so many password apps over the years and we just keep coming back to This One(Password). I do wish it was a bit easier to understand in regards to where databases are stored and how we can share the same database on multiple devices. But the number of times it’s saved us with remembering logins... can’t thank you enough!!.Version: 7.0.1

Great Password ManagerThis is such a great Password Manager. I've been using it for over a year and I absolutely love it. Two points of feedback from me : 1. Why is there no option to search for passwords when 1password is opened via a website. If there are no entries for a website, it doesn't give me the option to search my vault. I have to open the app outside of the website to use the search function. 2. Whilst I love the app, it is a bit pricey. It would be nice to lower the price point (slightly) for at least recurring members..Version: 7.3.4

Great app but I need better printing capabilityThis is the best app I know for the purpose at hand and have recommended it to many of my friends. However I need to be able to print every so often all my info of passwords in Password1 on paper (not just individually each one on one page but continuously all of them in alphabetical order) for safekeeping in case something happens to the hardware software or to myself and all this crucial information in digital format is suddenly lost or no longer accessible. Currently I solve this problem by maintaining another safe spreadsheet with the same info as a backup that I can print every so often and keep in my safety deposit box. This is of course a wasteful, time consuming, and possibly unreliable (requiring two separate manual entries) duplication I would like to avoid if I could just print all at once all that I have stored in Password1. Wolf Bender PS: I had recommended this before several years ago but no update has so far I know made available this capability..Version: 7.2.2

IndispensableI use this app on iPhone, iPad, mac, and Win10. Works so well and just 1 password to remember! Updated January 2019. Good and keeps getting better..Version: 7.2.7

My internet security rest on this application!I have been using this software both on my two iMacs and two iPads for many years now and could not function without it. I love the reminders to change my passwords, generation of complex (secure) passwords and the ease of having different passwords for each of the sites, accounts etc I have. It syncs easily which means that as long as of my iPad is with me I can access my accounts without having to remember my passwords. I'd recommend this app without hesitation..Version: 7.3.2

Great Password ManagerEvery day I thank myself for getting such a fantastic manager to store passwords and other credentials. Most features are very well thought, in particular the differences between lowercase, uppercase and numbers when revealing the passwords. One suggestion if it’s possible to implement. When viewing the password is there a way to add timer? Say I have a very lengthy and complex password and would like to set a timer for 60 before 1password locks..Version: 7.7.1

KafkaThe tech is really only as trustworthy as the people behind it. When I was choosing a password manager I tried to find a good product built by people I thought I could trust - who had a business model that made sense to me. I’ve gotten to trust the team behind 1pw over the years. So far, I haven’t had any reason to regret it..Version: 7.4.4

Much better memory than mineWith so many passwords to remember and they ask have to be different. This is your answer. Configurable, and easy to use. Thanks for doing such a great job of keeping my passwords safe..Version: 7.9.3
