✓ Good countdown appSo, I really like this app. I've tried numerous others and they sort of paled in comparison. I like that this one is displayed in the widget section of the iPhone, and how customizable the events are. My only complaint is that it won't allow for skipping certain days, e.g., the weekends or weekdays or some random mix of the two. Other than that, it's fantastic and I highly recommend it to anybody in need of a countdown app!!.Version: 2.6.8

✓ Now works as it shouldUpdate: as stated in the developer's response, the latest update corrected the custom wallpaper and time zone issues, so the app now works as it should. Well that was a waste of money. I bought the ad-free version and that was a mistake. Supposedly you can select your own photo for the wallpaper, which it let me do, but close the app and open again and the custom photo disappears. It also looks like you can select the event time zone, since it shows in blue that it's using the default time, but there's no way to change it. Very disappointing..Version: 2.6.3

I choose to accept time in a linear fashion and look forward to upcoming events, birthdays, celebrations, and tragedies. Countdown also counts up! How long have you been on your diet? ✓ Not what I expectedI have been using Countdown now for a couple of years and found it easy to use but got fed up with adverts so purchased Countdown Star to get rid of them. I was disappointed to find that this didn’t upgrade my original Countdown app but created a new app which has no way of importing all my events from the previous app. This is very frustrating as I now have to create them all over again in Countdown Star😕 Surely this could have been coded to upgrade the original app to just to remove the adverts and leave all my events in tact. ✓ WallpaperI tried to add a photo to my wallpaper and then use that for my background on my countdown. Every time I open my countdown, it has a blank, grey background. Frustrating!
